THE HOLY KINGDOM OF EADN مملكة عدن AP Available Per Turn: 8 Population: 224,000 Eadni Shipyard: Level 4 (2/22 to SL 5) Colonies: Eadni City, Eadn - Aljadid Riyadh, Hussein - Aljadid Baghdad, Idris FLEET EADNI YEAR 26 Charter Member, O.X.E.E. Trade Partners: Free Human Technocracy/Haephestus Holdings Inc./Karass Dominion/The Solarin Federation/People’s Agrarian Republic/United States of Arcturus (Keerim Protectorate)/Sovereign Military Order of Malta/ With war raging not far from the Eadni Home Systems to the galactic west in Karass Space, the High Court immediately convenes to discuss the immediate future of the Eadni Navy and how it might be deployed in these ever expanding conflicts. For now, the entire Eadni fleet is called back to the Ibrahim system, with the exception of 4 frigates that protect the colonies of Hussein & Idris in the al’Noor system. Large scale fleet operations begin over Eadn, training the fleet in high-stress combat scenarios and war games. For those situations that cannot be immediately replicated due to the current size of the fleet, large scale virtual exercises are held in which enemies of various types are simulated and defeated. 2. THE HOLY KINGDOM OF EADN The Eadni Fleet is significantly bolstered by the new additions of a heavy cruiser and carrier. The two new capital class ships will make a fine addition to the Navy. The industrial city of Aljadid Dubai gains a few more factories along its already bustling harbor district. United Canadian Front The tests on the Itoron yield incredible results as the Canadian researchers find out just how durable and resilient this metal is. In the pressure tests, the Itoron performs incredibly well, and when tested for strength, it easily resists some very large caliber bullets made from lesser metals. Xylorite quickly reveals itself to be a rather remarkable source of energy, yielding far more yield than anything else the Canadians might have ever encountered. Should they learn how to refine it into a more pure form, it could be a particularly potent source of energy. Gauss cannons are successfully upscaled and can now be effectively placed onto whatever class of ship the U.C.F. requires. The destroyer begins production. The Sovereign Military Order of Malta The deployment of the many sets of Quantum Anchors throughout Maltese controlled sectors goes relatively well as they are not contested in any sort of way. The xylorite torpedos enter construction, without about half of the desired order completed by the end of the year. The galactic community pays relatively little attention to the act. No real intelligent life is found on any of the scanned planets, however some very intriguing fauna and flower life are found on some of the worlds well-within the habitable zone of their star. Particularly intriguing is a race of snake-like creatures who reside on a desert planet, displaying incredibly complex methods of hunting and burrowing, establishing massive complexes, though primitive, beneath the sands of their planet’s many deserts. Destroyer construction is smooth. [Letting Czar take interaction] Silver Knight Corporation The shipyard expansion finishes up around the end of the year with new classes of ships capable of being constructed for the fleet of the Silver Knight Corporation. The Duke Class Destroyer is completed without issue, as well as the Small Freighter. Assuming the Han allow it, the compound would enter progress, and depending on the size, be completed. [LANCELOT CZAR!] People's Agrarian Republic A few small deposits of Xylorite are discovered in the outer reaches of P.A.R. space. Similar luck is found in regards to Itoron. The shield research continues to make gains, though the issue of energy expenditure continues to plague the P.A.R. researches. Still, a better power source will be required if one would wish to operate the shields and weapons in any sort of meaningful way together. The disruptor rifle reverse engineering continues to make breakthroughs. (Truthfully, I don’t know much about this type of weapon so I believe the AP is suitable to have reverse engineered it, but talk to Czar about details). The mobile shield droids are improved to the point of partial success. The droids may be mobile with the shields active, however it only occurs in brief bursts and may not necessarily last as long as the P.A.R. researchers desire. The frigate is completed on time. Free Human Technocracy The train system makes movement of both people and goods far more efficient in the F.H.T. colony. This also allows industrial growth to prosper on the planet. (20 AP in Industry, +1 AP per Turn!) The arctic planets are successfully colonized without much an issue, however the F.H.T. does struggle to find willing colonists after the initial wave of settlers as the conditions on these worlds are incredibly unattractive to most settlers. The research into cybernetics in the form of physical enhancements makes major breakthroughs in how it augments and even replaces the biological processes of a human being. (Not really sure on the details, either talk to Czar or PM me. AP is likely sufficient to have completed this research) United Colonial Initiative The Itoron is certainly capable of being used as a sort of heavy armor on all sorts of weapons systems, including the ships of the U.C.I. fleet. Through the testing of the Itoron-Titanium alloy, they find that Itoron-Steel is actually stronger as the two metals are more compatible when utilized together. The two new frigates are completed and deployed with the fleet. The Solarin Federation The operation to establish a command outpost on Onyx succeeds without issue, kept a secret successfully. Three Mk. 2 Centurion Assault Frigates join the Solarin Fleet by the end of the year. (Same as hairy, plenty of AP spent in doing so. Gonna consult Czar. Don’t spend anymore AP on it). (Gonna let Czar deal with the fighter results against the Corruptors, see what the Tassarans say) The improvements to the MAC weaponry do seem to prove effective according to combat simulations, however their true test would come in the form of real combat against a real foe. The anti-Corruptor security appears to be paying off, for it does not seem as though there is any sort of issue in 2132 regarding the Corruptors in Federation space. Hephaestus Enterprises The retinue of new Eurus Mobile Artillery, lead by Rond Trazur, does well against Corruptors should they choose to engage, with the missile systems proving incredibly effective. (Going to give the ‘curing’ of the Corruption to Czar, that’s past my knowledge) Project Lemon Continues. United States Of Arcturus The colonization of the planet goes relatively well, settling far enough away from the Neanderthals so as to not disturb their careful existence. A destroyer rolls out of the U.S.A’s shipyard by the end of the year. One hundred fighters are also finished in factories on Arcturus. Project T.A.R.P. sees some rather exciting breakthroughs, however the camouflage netting does seem slightly impractical as of right now. It is still too bulky, and requires too much time to set up before becoming combat effective. TOPGUN is established, with the first breakout fighter pilot, Maverick, earning quite a reputation among pilots of the U.S.A. Navy. The Han Dominion See U.S.A. post for TARP project. The genetic engineering project continues to make outstanding breakthroughs throughout the year, with all of the human genome mapped and a greater understanding of how to actually construct individual pieces of DNA. Scientists of the Han believe that at this point, they might successfully be capable of cloning or even constructing an entire human being using manipulated genetic material. This is a rather ambitious goal though. The shipyard is upgraded. (I don’t know where you’re at right now, but 3 more AP is into it) A relatively habitable world is discovered, though it is mostly a thick, heavily forested tundra. Small, the planet is particularly attractive because it has an atmosphere perfectly compatible to humans. Imperial Republic of Mankind The industrial investments prove incredibly fruitful as the citizens of the IRM spend an exorbitant amount of money on civilian and consumer goods. The colony ship is completed and ready to set forth into the stars by the end of the year. Families are anxious to take advantage of this policy, giving the Imperium a small boom in population. The voting issues are largely fixed. ---- Population growth Imperial Republic of Mankind - 295,000 Humans Terran Federation -460,250 Humans - 20,250 Grgl - 25,250 Tassarans - 8,000 Libellans - 8,750 Human-Tassarans New Sephoria - 347,000 Humans, 9,250 Protorians, 1,750 Human-Protorians Silver Knight Company - 279,750 Humans, 8,250 Tassareans, 5,500 Backhatta, 8,500 Redons, 3,750 Human-Redons, 4,500 Human-Tassareans, 16,500 Galaron, 9 Human-Redon-Tassareans, 17 Redon-Tassareans United States of Arcturus - 300,250 Humans, 6,7500 Skellar, 7,000 Da'nor, 8,250 Libellans, 8,000 Keerim 625 Human-Tjieran Aurora - 282,000 Humans, 14,000 Tassareans, 13,000 Grgl, 6,000 Protorians, 7,000 Human-Tassareans, 6,750 Galaron Hephaestus Holdings - 261,500 Humans, 28,000 Grgl, 21,250 Tassareans, 11,250 Human-Tassareans, 7,750 Libellans, 8,500 Redons, 6,000 Backhatta, 5,250 Human-Redons, 33,000 Galaron, 18 Redon-Tassareans, 9 Human-Redon-Tassareans Saga Initiative - 280,500 Humans, 13,750 Da'nor, 3,750 Human-Da'nor The Holy Kingdom of Eadn - 210,000 Humans People's Council of Utopie - 284,000 Humans, 8,000 Protorians, 10,000 Libellans, 16,000 Grgl, 11,000 Tassareans, 8,250 Human-Tassareans, 4,000 Backhatta, 5,000 Skellar, 17,250 Galaron, 425 Human-Protorians Order of Malta - 274,750 Humans, 1,750 Ganvians, 2,750 Ceri, 3,000 Tjierans, 2,750 Ascardians, 2,750 Da'nor, 70 Human-Tjierans, 70 Human-Da'nor, 70 Human-Ascardians, 70 Tjieran-Ascardians, 45 Ascardian-Da'nor Han Dominion - 270,750 Humans Aegis - 215,500 Humans, 5,000 Skellar, 5,000 Libellan, 3,750 Da'nor, 3,750 Tjierans, 3,000 Ceri, 2,750 Ascardians, 650 Human-Ascardians, 650 Human-Da'nor, 650 Human-Tjierans, 70 Tjieran-Ascardians, 70 Ascardian-Da'nor United Colonial Initiative - 215,750 Humans United Canadian Front - 200,000 Humans ---- Events Just as the galaxy begins to become optimistic about the conflict with the Corruptors in the East, tragedy strikes. The Karass Dominion loses three successive battles, devastating the combat effectiveness of their fleet. Scattered and disorganized, the Karass begins a steady retreat as they are pursued by a now numerically superior Corruptor force. Separatist elements in the Karass Dominion see this as their opportunity to strike against the Dominion, with rebellious factions rising up and striking against their overlords. Now both at home and abroad, the Karass are facing devastating losses. Seeing a need for protection from the Keerim threat, the Grand Alliance petitions to join the Trialition. The Trialition and Protorians continue to prepare their forces for whatever the Keerim have in store. The Redon Imperium begins to mobilize its forces. The Backhatta Hive begins to mobilize its forces. The southern galaxy is in crisis. ---- Map Update None this turn ---- Year 2133 by Earth’s Calendar. 3. THE HOLY KINGDOM OF EADN The heavy cruiser and carrier are finished and christened with great pomp and circumstance. The industries on the outer rim of Eadni space continue to grow. Hephaestus Enterprises The Alastor and Tithonus Droids are produced on schedule and march to their deaths without any sort of trouble as the Hepaestus manufacturing machine continues to great contribute to the ground war effort, with Haephaestus model droids seeing more service than ever before in the garrisoning of many threatened Tassaran planets. Meanwhile on Hades, the testing of the Eurus system appears to go very well. The missile systems prove effective, and the all-terrain functionality seems to worked as promised. For the time being, the mobile artillery piece, although rather primitive compared to other technologies in service in the galaxy, should be capable of doing its job. Project Lemon continues. The Solarin Federation The security proofing cannot necessarily be conducted on these robots as they are no longer controlled assets, however their connection the Federation’s network and any intelligence that might be gathered off of them is effectively disconnected by ONI. This means that though the bots themselves might be used in conflict, they would need to be reprogrammed with new, non-Federation combat protocol. The two sets of Itoron-Steel and Itoron-Carbon Weave armor are produced en masse and are well distributed to the military forces of the Federation. Their combat effectiveness yet to be tested. Though lacking any substantial resource deposits, such a planet is discovered in a system neighboring the New Bayside colony. The planet is a giant ice planet, resting just outside of the habitable zone of its star. It has an atmosphere that is breathable, but otherwise the planet is uninhabitable as no vegetation can grow on the planet because of the extreme cold. Mountain ranges and giant ice formations distinguish the planet from others in the solar system. Choosing Aegis Dynamics as a partner for the federation’s next generation of star fighters proves to be a well thought out choice as the prototypes perform incredibly well in performance tests against the Federation’s previous generation of fighters. Silver Knight Corporation Project Lancelot continues. The Strike Suit Fighters are completed according to the production schedule set at the beginning of the year and are ready to be deployed wherever the board decides they might be needed. Simultaneously, the corporation’s first guided missile destroyer is christened and joins the SK fleet. The P.A.R. factory contract goes off without a hitch, assuming everything is good in the P.A.R. United Colonial Initiative With the settlement of the nation’s first colony, thousands of U.C.I citizens flock to join the settlement on Aldeban. The army and navy also sees small bumps in recruitment as more citizens intend to use the military as a means of getting offworld. Research on the Itoron-Steel alloy yields fantastic results as the researchers note the incredibly resilient and durable properties of the alloy. It is more than capable of withstanding bullets made using regular Earth-based techniques. The final frigate is completed within the first three months of the year, while the Destroyer is completed just before the workers break before the New Year. Nothing appears wrong in the production of the two ships, and they are fleet-ready for 2032. Imperial Republic of Mankind By investing a good amount of resources into the happiness of the Imperial Republic, the nation sees a boost in productivity and the investments go towards projects that will ultimately help the public forget about the Han disaster. With the establishment of the Inquisition, several small-scale threats by rebellious groups are found and rooted out, but otherwise nothing substantial has been discovered of note. By the end of the year, the massive colony ship reaches the halfway point in its construction. People's Agrarian Republic The construction of the power grid goes as planned with the P.A.R. workers doing their jobs diligently. Some P.A.R. workers take a liking to the culture of the Silver Knight planet, and after their own work is done they choose to settle on that planet rather than return home. The small freighter is completed as planned, without issue. The droids are improved, become capable of detecting ores that might not yet be identified by any human colonies or otherwise are very rarely occurring in the galaxy. The multi-layered deflector shields come a long way, though no substantial breakthroughs are yet made. The shields require a substantial amount of energy, and often field tests show that a captain will need to choose between his shields or weapons. Either more energy will need to be put into these ships or captains will need to be trained on such decision making. The planet discovered is a largely desert world, with sprawling savannahs where there is not sand and intense heat. Agriculture is hypothetically possible, but it will require intensive amounts of irrigation and some innovation as well. Free Human Technocracy The construction of the Xylorite power plant construction goes all according to plan. A large portion of the colony (roughly 75%) is now capable of being powered by the massive plant. A very capable feat, however the power plant consumes a massive amount of Xylorite, something the FHT seems to be lacking. The colony ship rolls off the shipyard by the end of the year, ready to settle somewhere else in the stars United States Of Arcturus The colonial frigate is completed on schedule with citizens of the U.S.A. vying for a spot on board the new colony ship, eager to change their lives for the better. Several small deposits of Itoron are discovered in the asteroid belt, collectively making up a fairly sizeable amount of Itoron that could be utilized by the U.S.A. A solid haul for whoever could acquire the contracts to such deposits. While the potential planet lacks in any cool ****, a beautiful garden world is discovered in the Eastern sector. It is a well sized planet with terrain very similar to Earth. On the planet there is a small population of low-intelligence species, similar in mental ability to a Neanderthal. A very hairy race evolved from primates, the species would be easily wiped out should the U.S.A. choose to do so. Ar’gakari Interaction. (Encounter, do with Czar) United Canadian Front Extensive tests on the black material would reveal that it is incredibly durable and rugged. A rather remarkable metal, it’s incredibly dense and seems promising for use in weaponry and armor. More testing would need to be conducted before anything could be implemented though. Meanwhile, the crystalline entity is incredibly peculiar as it exudes a strange hue. The crystals, when tested, put out a fair amount of energy, and small samples when tested in certain refined settings yield startlingly exciting results. Thousands of Mk87 rifles are produced and distributed to the U.C.F. army. Their 100 strike craft are also completed on schedule and without issue. Supply chains between the two systems are unbroken with the freighter moving goods back and forth without issue. The Sovereign Military Order of Malta The Maltese fleet is significantly bolstered by the new additions. The Han Dominion The construction of a colonial freighter goes according to plan, and the genetic engineering project continues to go off without a hitch. Breakthroughs continue to be made in the field, and several very interesting applications for this technology could be easily applied. The music is broadcast, much to the confusion of many peoples all over the galaxy. ---- Population growth Imperial Republic of Mankind - 281,250 Humans Terran Federation - 449,000 Humans - 18,000 Grgl - 23,000 Tassarans - 7,250 Libellans - 7,000 Human-Tassarans New Sephoria - 337,000 Humans, 8,000 Protorians, 1,250 Human-Protorians Silver Knight Company - 270,000 Humans, 7,000 Tassareans, 4,750 Backhatta, 7,250 Redons, 3,000 Human-Redons, 3,750 Human-Tassareans, 15,000 Galaron, 7 Human-Redon-Tassareans, 12 Redon-Tassareans United States of Arcturus - 290,000 Humans, 5,500 Skellar, 6,250 Da'nor, 7,000 Libellans, 8,000 Keerim 550 Human-Tjieran Aurora - 271,500 Humans, 12,750 Tassareans, 12,000 Grgl, 4,750 Protorians, 5,750 Human-Tassareans, 6,250 Galaron Hephaestus Holdings - 253,000 Humans, 24,750 Grgl, 19,000 Tassareans, 10,000 Human-Tassareans, 6,000 Libellans, 7,000 Redons, 5,000 Backhatta, 4,000 Human-Redons, 31,500 Galaron, 14 Redon-Tassareans, 6 Human-Redon-Tassareans Saga Initiative - 268,000 Humans, 12,500 Da'nor, 3,000 Human-Da'nor The Holy Kingdom of Eadn - 196,000 Humans People's Council of Utopie - 273,000 Humans, 7,000 Protorians, 8,750 Libellans, 14,000 Grgl, 9,000 Tassareans, 6,500 Human-Tassareans, 3,000 Backhatta, 3,750 Skellar, 15,000 Galaron, 350 Human-Protorians Order of Malta - 265,000 Humans, 1000 Ganvians, 1,500 Ceri, 1,750 Tjierans, 2,250 Ascardians, 2,250nDa'nor, 60 Human-Tjierans, 60 Human-Da'nor, 60 Human-Ascardians, 60 Tjieran-Ascardians, 40 Ascardian-Da'nor Han Dominion - 259,000 Humans Aegis - 204,000 Humans, 3,750 Skellar, 3,750 Libellan, 2,500 Da'nor, 2,500 Tjierans, 1,500 Ceri, 2,250 Ascardians, 575 Human-Ascardians, 575 Human-Da'nor, 575 Human-Tjierans, 60 Tjieran-Ascardians, 60 Ascardian-Da'nor United Colonial Initiative - 204,500 Humans United Canadian Front - 190,750 Humans ---- Events War continues to rage between the Karass and Corruptor Dominions. With each passing day, the Karass see success on both the ground and in the air. However, one might note that the speed with which that progression is occurring is slowing down significantly. Casualties are mounting for the Karass, and fatigue is setting in. Regardless, they continue their push against their great enemy. After probing the Trialition for several months, the Keerim begin to focus their small incursions on Protorian space. Again, these attacks mirror those from the previous year and those conducted on the Skellar and Libellans. The Protorians begin to prepare their defenses, ramping up war time production. Rumblings from within Karass space indicate that there has been some serious unrest on a large agrarian world. Much of this news is being cut off from the public though, and these reports are coming through back channels that may or may not be reliable. ---- Map Update None this turn ---- Year 2132 by Earth’s Calendar. Trade and prosperity had been established among several nations spanning the southern galaxy and the Holy Kingdom of Eadn found itself in a rather advantageous position. As such, the Sultan called an assembly of the High Court to discuss just how the Holy Kingdom would maintain this newfound prosperity. “If we wish to maintain our newfound position of power among our human neighbors, we must intervene in the Corruptor conflict and flex our muscle as a warning to those who might attempt to incur upon our most Holy Space. You already saw the warning from the Chinese pretender… there are those out there that might wish to destroy us.” Abdullah Wakim, Minister of Commerce, stood rather unopposed in this session of the High Court with the Admiral Ali al’Noor away dealing with an anomaly on the edge of Eadni space. As such, he felt emboldened in being more vocally active in the Imperial Chambers. What he failed to expect though was that Captain Jabril Kamal would actively defend the interests of his commanding officer. “We’ve spent so much time and resources building up the Eadni fleet, to engage the Corruptors now without having a completed Strike Group would be foolish and irresponsible. We must continue to be patient. Just because we’ve now embraced the galactic stage does not mean that we must immediately stretch ourselves thin in an attempt to make friends. We have our trade deals, let us secure them and continue preparing to defend our home from potential hostiles.” Many of the more senior members of the High Court nodded in their approval of the statements made by the Eadni Naval Captain. Despite his junior status on the council, many respected the Eadni Navy and what the institution stood for. Sensing his grasp on the room slipping, the Minister of Commerce quickly replied; “Captain Kamal, I must ask to re-evaluate your opinion. Just look at the prosperity that came with moving out into the galactic landscape. We’ve gained more resources than any of us could imagine, and now have weapons and technology making us capable of defending ourselves. We should continue to co-operate with our allies, not shut them off.” With a short smile, the Captain looked over the young Mr. Wakim. He couldn’t help but shake his head, standing up and appealing directly to the Sultan. “The Minister of Commerce confuses my desire to continue our build up with a lack of desire to continue embracing our galactic partners. I merely oppose entering the conflict with the Corruptors until we’re able to field the Strike Group as proposed by Admiral al’Noor. We can continue our relationships and partnerships with other nations, but Sultan I beg you not to engage in such a devastating conflict before we are capable.” With this, the Captain bowed his head and sat down. The Sultan looks over the High Court, letting the room sit in silence for a moment before he raised his hand to speak. “Gentlemen, I see both of your points I respect them greatly. Despite the differences in your opinion, I can tell you are both truly devoted to the cause of our Holy Kingdom. For this, I commend the both of you. Now, Minister Wakim, I understand your desire to put us on a pedestal to the galactic community, but why must we do so by putting our fleet and the Eadni people at risk? I must side with Captain Kalam and the Department of the Navy. I respect Admiral al’Noor’s opinion and his desire not to move forward without a carrier strike group. We shall not do so until the completion of such.” The Sultan smiled, looking over the members of his court. He nods a bit, signaling that his decision was final. Several other decisions are deliberated in the court, but none of such pressing matters. Diplomatic Actions Diplomatic channels are established with the Zykra Engineering company. As the study nears its conclusion, some suggest testing its compatibility with steel in the form of an alloy. This proves alloy proves to be wildly stronger than the base compound, and wildly stronger than steel or titanium. An incredible breakthrough. The first frigate leaves the shipyard completed while the second meets its halfway point in production as the shipyard workers break for the New Year. United Canadian Front The two corvettes leave the shipyard by the end of the year. No problems to report during their construction. Aside from finding many resources recognizable to the Canadians from the Sol system, the probes would indicate strange new findings from compounds not recognizable on the periodic table. Indeed, one planet near the edge of the solar system would be relatively abundant in a dense black metalloid foreign to the Canadians while a moon nearby Jardun III would be rich in a strange, crystalline mineral with an odd hue. Further investigations would need to be conducted as to the usefulness of these resources. Higher grades weapons research goes relatively well. (I can’t really work with you without more details as to the concepts of these weapons. Assume it goes well, just RP out the details of the weapons). People's Agrarian Republic The Redons respectfully decline the P.A.R’s request to receive force blades. They state, rather bluntly, that Redon craftsmanship will not be tossed around the galaxy carelessly. More trust would need to be established between the two nations before such a notion could be considered. Production of the jump-pack suits rattles off without any sort of issue. The soldiers of the P.A.R are well equipped as more of these suits roll of the assembly lines of the Republic with each passing day. After a year of hard work, the colony ship sets off from the Shipyard over Utopie. A shining beacon of hope, Utopians from all walks of life are anxious to purchase tickets and land on the new colony, ready to start a new life elsewhere in the stars. Prior to the christening of the colony ship, two corvettes would roll out of the shipyard and join the Utopie fleet; one in great need of reinforcements it seems. The First Tassaran Rifles successfully make the trek to the Tassaran capital world. Once there, they are entrenched with several other volunteer companies who make up the majority of that world's defense while the main armies fight the Corruptors in contested space. (Will rule on Farmer’s Market in separate post) Silver Knight Corporation The training program sees a great amount of success and the officers helming the project seem optimistic that the data gained in the first battle against the Corruptors has proved invaluable in training the next generation of soldiers in succeeding against the great threat posed to the Corporation. However, only a real engagement will prove whether or not these officers predictions prove to be the truth. The new mining infrastructure facilities face no challenges in their construction on New Gibraltar and are completed by the end of the year, right on schedule. Project Lancelot gets its resources (I’ll assume you spoke to Czar, otherwise, contact me or Czar). United States Of Arcturus Following the resounding success of the operation defending the Han Dominion, the morale of most people in the Arcturus system are high. True sons and daughters of liberty, small groups with very loud voices begin to quietly put political pressure once again on an independence movement to remove the shackles of the Keerim Imperium. For now, these voices remain small. Built with an incredible patriotic fervour, the two destroyers are christened and join the ever-growing U.S. fleet by the end of the year. After a few weeks of intensive scanning on the moon of Iris, a small Xylorite deposit is found near the moon’s southern pole. Several more familiar resources are also found. For several months in 2130, the intergalactic mission to Andromeda appears to be going according to plan. Within the first two months, the ship breaks out of the Milky Way and presses onward toward Andromeda. As the ship gets about a third of the way to Andromeda, the researchers onboard begin to report small equipment-based anomalies though the ship stays in contact with the U.S.A. These reports are largely dismissed as an issue of distance and fatigue on the end of the ship. It would make the journey, the crew concluded, but it may be a difficult way home. Their evaluation proved fatally inaccurate as around the halfway mark of the voyage, the vessel would lose communications with Arcturus. The fate of the ship unknown as no distress calls were made. It seems as though it was there one moment and suddenly… gone? In regards to the Lost Colonies, about 5,000 citizens choose to return to the U.S.A, including roughly 500 Human-Tjieran. The Sovereign Military Order of Malta By the year 2131, the Maltese shipyard is capable of constructing Frigates, Destroyers, and Support Carrier class ships. A great achievement for the growing military order! The construction on the resort moves along with incredible efficiency. By the year’s end, most of the main structures are completed and ready for tourists to visit. (Basically, if you’re done putting AP to it, it’s done). Once completed, it would begin to attract many different tourists from many different galactic forces. The mall begins to attract tourists from all over the galaxy with news of its completion. A fair amount of wealth also begins to flow through the new mall. Some aliens even find the Order’s planet rather accommodating, choosing to stay as residents permanently. Some potential contractors come with offers to the Maltese, the most prominent of which feature some rather outlandish materials. Contractors from the Grand Alliance offer an elaborate fantasy park centered around their equivalent of a classical era. The Trialton offer a similar concept. Uniquely, the Redon offer a concept for an action-adventure park featuring several Redon heroes that romanticize the Redon and their history. Several species of exotic wildlife are collected, though they don’t come cheap (Czar can elaborate, I’m sure). Some clients are disappointed in the discontinuation of Xylorite shipments, by find that this is merely because of the creation of O.X.E.E, of which the Maltese are a Charter Member. (Farmer’s Market post sold separately) The Solarin Federation Project Prometheus Jump Drive abandoned while resources flow to the Silver Knights uninterrupted for their own top secret project (Assuming details PM’d to Czar, if not, message me for assistance, same for Project Lancelot). The resources of the Solarin Federation are reluctantly turned over to the Han Dominion towards the reconstruction of their shipyard. Morale sharply declines in the Solarin territories as news of such resource loss spreads to every corner of their space. The construction of the Defense Station begins without any trouble, resources are moved to space with relative ease and no production shortages are noted. The first weapons systems are online by the end of the year, whether or not the Solarin Federation wishes to continue with the project is up to their government. The Archivar meeting takes place. Many clients of the Solarin Federation are disappointed by their failure to meet their Xylorite obligations, turning to new contractors instead. These spurned buyers will not forget such a sudden end to their supply chain. ONI conducts Operation Census. The Tassarans express great concern in the withdrawal of the Solarin fleet, however once the circumstances are explained to them they express their regrets. The Tassarans warn the much younger nation of the volatility of younger star-faring nations, and encourage the Solarin to learn from their mistakes just as the great entities that make up the Southern Milky Way have done. Hephaestus Enterprises The colonial freighter rolls of the shipyard’s production lines by the end of the year. To the delight of many a money-grubbing member of the Board, thousands rush to purchase tickets in order to start a new life on a distant planet… if any are available that is. On Grand Ares, a great deposit of Itoron is discovered after much of the planet’s surface is haphazardly ripped apart. The Tithonus Droids march to their inevitable deaths, alongside their Alastor Droid brothers who also march to their inevitable deaths. In the immediate vicinity of the Hades system, a beautiful Garden world is found. Massive and well inside its star’s habitable zone, the massive planet is a sort of mega-earth. With two large moons and 5 oceans, the planet is about 60% water while the rest is land. Temperate like Earth, the planet is lush and diverse in its flora and fauna. Despite this though, no intelligent life appears to have yet been established on the planet. The energy weapons market seems rather difficult to get into these days, with the nations of the galaxy keeping what they have close to their chest… for now. They’d rather not their weapons be used in the slaughter of humans, or… at least not by other humans. Imperial Republic of Mankind The resources are sent to the Han Dominion to help rebuild their Shipyard. Like the Solarin, the defeat and surrendering of valuable resources strikes a significant blow to I.R.M morale. Damage control conducted by the Imperium seems to at least assuage some civilian concerns. The new frigate rolls out of the shipyard, joining a somewhat depleted Imperial fleet. The children are well cared for and begin to pick up on the language of the Imperium (this wasn’t yet explained to me, this is all I’ll write lest I totally screw something up, talk to czar I suppose). Power armor from the Tassaran conflict is repaired. (Farmer’s Market separate!) Refer to the first section for the success of the propaganda. The Imperium does achieve success in creating general hatred and mistrust of the Han. Free Human Technocracy The carrier is completed in the shipyards of Eadn. With the christening of the new carrier, the Sultan himself phones the leader of the Technocracy to congratulate him on its completion and the continued benefit to their relationship. The carrier is then sent over to the F.H.T’s home system. The Xylorite power plant is researched and conceptualized first, since no SATO nation actually had such a thing (to my knowledge). Fleet upgrade goes as planned, as does the ONI agent exchange. The Han Dominion The workers of the Han work with great patriotic fervor following their incredible success, the biodome being repaired by the end of the year completely. The same patriotic fervor is put into the construction of the new shipyard, as well as ensuring nothing occurs to sabotage its construction. On several occasions, random Han are pulled from the assembly of the shipyard and randomly accused of spying. They are never heard from again. The research into genetic engineering continues without a hitch, some new breakthroughs in gene sequencing are made by enhancing techniques established in medical practices on Earth. The U.S.A citizens celebrate the arrival of the delicious Han rice crop. Newly controlled worlds are populated with Karass armies, but some are garrisoned by the armies of the Human Remnants who committed ground troops to the battle. To the South, the cogs of the Keerim war machine once again begin to spin. Small strike groups are sent to the fringes of Trialition space, engaging with their piecemeal border forces. They largely take them by surprise, but do not plunge deeper into their space. This seems strikingly similar to their first incursions into Skellar and Libellan space, with Trialition high command growing increasingly worried of a full scale invasion, they begin to mobilize. O.X.E.E Organization of Xylorite Exporting Empires تنظيم الإمبراطوريات المنتجة سيلوريت EST. 2130 Charter Empires: The Holy Kingdom of Eadn People’s Agrarian Republic Sovereign Military Order of Malta Imperial Republic of Mankind Mission Statement: In order to provide human nations with a reliable supply of quality Xylorite-based energy solutions, the Organization of Xylorite Producing Empires formed in the year 2130 to meet the demands of an increasingly outward-facing galactic community. The purpose of this organization is to regulate the pricing of Xylorite and ensure that every nation receives a fair deal. Goods and Services - The protection of the knowledge of how to refine weapons-grade Xylorite capable of becoming a WMD and an incredibly effective orbital bombardment tool. - Knowledge of highly efficient generators capable of powering the next generation of shields and deflectors. - Constant research into new and exciting applications of Xylorite-based technology. Engineers from OXPE nations work around the clock to advance the interests of the organization. - Broker large quantity Xylorite settlements with non-Human nations all across the galaxy. To The Galactic Community Xylorite now flows through the charter nations of this treaty in great abundance. We are open to selling to all willing customers through the O.X.E.E exchange. No Xylorite will be sold by individual Empires of this organization any longer. To all non-member states producing Xylorite, we encourage you to petition us for membership into the organization.
  7. THE HOLY KINGDOM OF EADN مملكة عدن AP Available Per Turn: 6 Population: 170,000 Eadni Shipyard: Level 4 Colonies: Eadni City, Eadn FLEET EADNI YEAR 22 Trade Partners: Free Human Technocracy/Haephestus Holdings Inc./Karass Dominion/The Terran Federation/People’s Agrarian Republic/United States of Arcturus (Keerim Protectorate)/ Retribution. As a result of their complete failures, several scientists of the Ministry of Commerce found themselves removed from their homes in the middle of the night, quietly replaced by new clones capable of performing their tasks. The damage was done, but dissent would not be tolerated by the High Court, and especially not by the ambitious Minister of Commerce, Abdullah Wakim, who hoped to satisfy the Sultan by demonstrating his brutal efficiency. Regardless of the Minister of Commerce’s actions, the damage was done. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn no longer stood alone on the galactic and its people needed to become aware of this. Information about the other human survivors is slowly fed to Eadni state media so as to ease the public into this knowledge. Generally, the message put out by the Eadni High Court is one of jubilation as their Earthly brothers survived, and the Holy Kingdom no longer has to hold the burden of being the lone survivors of the human race. Instead, there were likely millions of survivors scattered all across the galaxy - something to celebrate. Despite the Sultan’s wishes to remain anonymous, the High Court decided to put their best foot forward and embrace what remained of the human race. The IEN Ali al-Noor landing upon the desert planet of Hussein after dropping an advance party In accordance with the Sultan’s plans, the first Colonial vessel of the Holy Kingdom, the IEN Ali al-Noor is filled with 20,000 Eadni from Eadn City. Most of these colonists are of the upper caste, supplemented by middle and lower caste workers to do the brunt of the work on the colony. Each planet, Hussein and Idris, would receive 20,000 colonists each. The goal was to have a capable outpost in which the Eadni could thrive away from the homeworld. Quantum communications are established here as well, now that the Eadni have the knowledge of such things as a result of partnerships with the Free Human Technocracy. As the markets open up in the Eadni, the many Imams of Eadn petition the government to refuse any non-Eadni onto the surface of Eadn. Like the city of Mecca, Eadn is a planet only for the sons and daughters of Islam who were guided to the planet by Allah. The High Court, seeing an advantage to such things from an intelligence standpoint, agrees. Subsequently, the ark drifting in orbit is to be utilized as a sort of orbital market. This is where all foreign traders would come to trade, rather than being allowed on the surface. By holding weapons systems as a priority in trade, the Holy Kingdom came to acquire several advanced systems of war from its trading partners. From the People’s Agrarian Republic, the Holy Kingdom came into possession of railguns more advanced than their own capabilities that were capable of penetrating Itoron hulls. The P.A.R. also helped the Eadni acquire deflector shields capable of protecting ships in the Eadni fleet, schematics that were put to immediate use. From another trading partner, the Free Human Technocracy, the Eadni became aware of the strength of Itoron hulls, as well as how to make and mine Itoron alloys. Such hulls were immediately put into use on the construction of a new fleet, while older ships were scheduled to be re-fitted with such things. After the reports of the artificial station found to the Northwest, the IEN is ordered to continue monitoring it, but otherwise not infiltrating the station. Prior to any actions taken, the Karass are contacted, asking if this belongs to them or not. (ENCOUNTER?) Diplomatic Actions Now that the Holy Kingdom of Eadn had been revealed to the Galactic Community at large as a result of the dissenter, an official message would be sent to every nation, regardless of whether or not they responded to their initial message. “On behalf of all peoples of the Holy Kingdom of Eadn, I, Sultan Khald of the House of Saud-Al Nahyan, wish to introduce our proud Islamic Kingdom to the rest of the galactic community. Our fleets are capable, our armies our strong, and the planet Eadn is rich in resources. To whomever receives this, we may be either a capable ally or an unrelenting enemy. For now, consider this message an invitation to establish diplomatic channels between our nations.” [ 2AP] Work begins on the first carrier of the Eadni Fleet. Named after legendary Ottoman fleet admiral Hayreddin Barbarossa, it is to be equipped with the most advanced equipment that the Imperial Eadni Navy can manufacture. Substantial amounts of space are left for eventual equipment upgrades. [2 AP] Simultaneously, work begins on the IEN Drawn Sword of Islam, a Dragut-Class destroyer that would act as the backbone of the Eadni fleet. This fleet build up is part of the construction of the Kingdom’s first Carrier Strike Group. [2 AP] Investments are made toward industrial resource excavation in the new system. Specifically, the scans target Itoron and Xylorite in hopes that a good mine might be found. After the success of initial surveys, they hope more might be discovered. A few of the systems neighboring the Al-Noor system are monitored as well. [0 AP] The colonization of the planets Hussein and Idris. 10,000 men are sent to the desert planning of Hussein along with the appropriate equipment to establish a settlement there. A similar process occurs on the temperate planet of Idris. (For the map Czar, just do the sector to the galactic west). [0 AP] Retrofitting Itoron metal into the existing frigates, while also utilizing Itoron metals in the construction of the new ships. Deflector shields with power from Xylorite generators are also installed. This process would occur over the course of several years. New weapons systems such as railguns from the People’s Agrarian Republic and laser point defense from the Free Human Technocracy are also retrofitted onto existing hulls (first of 3 sets of retrofittings). [0 AP] The Eadni government reaches out to the alien tourists.
  8. THE HOLY KINGDOM OF EADN مملكة عدن Population: 162,000 Eadni Shipyard: Level 4 Colonies: Eadni City, Eadn FLEET EADNI YEAR 21 Since its inception, the young Holy Kingdom of Eadn pushed cautiously onwards toward a new future for its people in the stars, wary of the unknown threats sitting just beyond the galactic horizon. Against the wishes of his High Court, Sultan Khalid of the House of Saud refused to encourage colonial expansion offworld until he deemed the Eadni Kingdom capable of assessing and managing threats beyond their home system, warning that embracing the galactic community too soon may pose a threat to the survival of the Eadni people. For the first two decades of his reign, this view held firm in the mind of the Sultan and any attempt to shake this opinion would result in quick dismissal from the High Court. However, upon making contact with a ship belonging the Karass Dominion, the High Court became aware of something remarkable: the existence of other human survivors. While the Eadni public was informed in some capacity in regards to the existence of the Karass, the knowledge that other humans survived the diaspora from Earth remained a secret reserved for only those sitting on the High Court. Having been gifted a working quantum communicator and co-ordinates to every human settlement known to the Karass, the Holy Kingdom could at any time contact these remnants and embrace the galactic community at large. Only one question remained: Should they? The Palace of the Sultan, Home to the High Court of Eadn “It is about time we allow ourselves to expand, my Sultan. We know now we are not alone for certain, and that there are more of us out there. What if the Karass become hostile? We’d need allies.” Admiral Ali al-Noor pauses, scanning the faces of power surrounding him as he speaks. His eyes move from one to the other, carefully reading their stoic expressions. Finally, his gaze meets the Sultan’s and once again the Admiral speaks. “I’ve witnessed the capabilities of these Karass first hand, their technology far outpaces ours, for now, and until such a time that we are strong enough, we would be foolish to -” From across the room, the shifting of a chair could be heard as a tall young man with jet black hair stands from his seat. Unlike the Admiral, this man is not in uniform and instead straightens his well-tailored suit before interrupting. “And who is to say these lifeforms are hostile, Admiral? They gifted us knowledge and equipment, no? Why imagine a fight that isn’t necessary for our survival? Instead of game planning a war against them, we ought to figure out what we have that’s valuable to them, and leverage it in trade. Besides, I would love to get my hands on their tech… and their money.” The man smirks as he moves his hand through his hair as he looks toward the Admiral. One of the youngest members of the High Court, Abdullah Wakim leads the Ministry of Commerce and earned a reputation for his ambition in the years following the construction of the first spaceport over Eadn. Admiral al-Noor looks toward the young Minister of Commerce, surprised that the new addition to the High Court would be so bold as to interrupt one of its most senior members. Regardless, the Admiral needed to respond. “Mr. Wakim, I understand and respect your desire to bring wealth to our Kingdom, however in matters such as these we must not let our thirst for gold blind us from protecting ourselves. We know not the intentions of the Karass, nor their rationale in gifting us the locations of our fellow human colonies? Perhaps they hope we wipe one another out? We must contact our Earthly brethren so that we can stand united against whatever threats lurk beyond our own Ibrahim system.” Before the Admiral could continue, a hand raised to his right and he immediately found his seat, as did Minister Wakim. His arm raised, the Sultan looked over his advisors with a soft smile before beginning to speak. “We’ve discussed this issue long enough, my friends. For nearly a decade now we’ve debated expansion, but now that we’ve caught a glimpse of what lies beyond our humble settlement we all know the truth; we must grow. If we do not, then what are we? Is it not human nature to want to push the frontier? For twenty years now we’ve grown a proud kingdom on this planet, now is the time to branch out. We shall establish our first colony in a neighboring star system. I’ve already consulted the Ministry of Resources & Exploration, and we’ve decided to settle in Z267-Omega. We expect this system to be rich in resources as it contains three gas giants, a well-sized asteroid belt, and two habitable planets. One is mostly covered in deserts and savannahs, while the other is more temperate. Each will receive 10,000 settlers and the appropriate equipment to establish a permanent settlement. Work in the Spaceport will begin immediately.” The great Sultan’s smile widens as he scans the faces of his advisors, “The system shall be named after our great admiral for his service to his Kingdom. The star and system shall be the al-Noor system with each planet being named for his sons, Hussein and Idris.” After this statement, the Admiral stands, bowing to the Sultan as he hears this joyous news for the first time. Honored, the Admiral wipes a few tears forming at the crests of his eyelids. “As for our handling of the foreigners, we shall reach out to the Karass for technology trading, however we will not reach out to our fellow humans. Yet. This meeting is adjourned.” The HMS Ali al-Noor, the first Colonial Hauler of the Holy Kingdom. [4 AP] The construction of the colony ship Ali al-Noor, bound for the system named for the admiral who bears the ship's name. [0 AP] Using the quantum communicator, the Karass Dominion is hailed by Minister Abdullah Wakim of the Ministry of Commerce. He makes an inquiry concerning the needs of the Karass Dominion, and the possibility of trade between the two nations. [0 AP] Under command of Captain Jabril Kamal, 3 Suleiman-class Frigates warp to and perform advanced scouting of the al-Noor system. They search for any unfamiliar resources or materials, utilizing probes launched from their weapons systems into the atmosphere of these planets. [0 AP] The remaining 7 frigates, under the command of Admiral Ali al-Noor himself, conduct fleet exercises in the neighboring systems. They patrol and keep watch for any abnormalities. [0 AP] In a breach of security, a communications assistant in the Ministry of Commerce activates the quantum communicator late one evening. Utilizing the coordinates of the known colonies (as his security clearance was high enough to be aware of such information), the assistant broadcasts a message to every known human colony, along with co-ordinates: “WE SURVIVE. IBRAHIM SYSTEM. HOLY KINGDOM OF EADN, SONS OF ISLAM.”

  12. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn Fleet 9 Sulemain Class Frigates Shipyard Level 2 Population 114,000 Pure Eadni With the completion of 9 frigates, the Eadni High Court commissions one final frigate to cap off the beginning of the Sultan's Grand Fleet. With new discoveries made by the High Court, a new and practical use has been found for the fleet and as such, preparations are made for it's inaugural operation. Prior to such operations however, the Sultan demands that a grand set of ships be made in order to put on a far more impressive display of force. As such, preparations are made to upgrade the shipyard in such a fashion as to make ships capable of fulfilling the Sultan's dream. [3 AP - Toward upgrade Of Shipyard to level 3, working on 4] [2 AP - Final Sulemain Class Frigate] Meanwhile, technology acquired from newfound friends in the galactic community is taken to a research facility in Aljadid Dubai. Here, the Quantum Communicator is extensively studied with hopes of reverse engineering the device so that the Eadni Space Command can remain in contact with its fleet during fleet operations. Without an effective means of communication, such operations may as well be useless. [1 AP - Reverse Engineering of Alien Quantum Communication technology] The additional population growth facility in Aljadid Dubai is staffed and primed for the production of new civilians. This would dramatically increase the population growth of the Eadni Kingdom.
  13. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn Fleet 7 Sulemain Class Frigates ---- Prior to Encounter Work continues on the next 2 frigates for the fleet. The High Court has decided to only produce 10, rather than the initial 12 planned for the fleet as they feel that such resources could possibly be allocated toward the construction of a single, greater ship in the future. As such, plans are drafted for that sort of construction however no actual resources have been allocated - merely drawing board ideas at this point . [4 AP - The continued bolstering of the Eadni Fleet] ---- ENCOUNTER Almost as soon as the ship is detected as entering the system, the Eadni Court moves into action. Three of the new Sulemain frigates, each equipped with railgun technology, move to intercept. Each frigate is accompanied by 2 Falcon I fighters who each carry conventional missiles and bombs. Despite the show of force, the intention of this fleet is not to destroy - instead, the fleet simply hopes to stop the ship's course toward the colony and hail it to begin a dialogue. As ordered from the High Court, if the ship fails to halt within 1,000 miles of the homeward, take it out. Precautions are also taken on the surface to prepare evacuation routes and the population for possible conflict. The soldiers stationed on the orbital defense platform, the station that once carried all the people of Eadn, are ordered to prepare to defend the colony.
  14. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn With the completion of the new set of frigates, another 2 are immediately put into production. The full production might of the Holy Kingdom is being utilized in the construction of these vessels, and it is hoped that the efficiency of producing them improves as they continue to produce these ships en masse. Work on the spaceport continues uninterrupted, however people of Earn who are mentally sound enough to question the motives of the government begin to raise concerns over the construction of such a large fleet without any sort of apparent military threat. After several years of silence on the issue, the Sultan, who is now near death, chooses to address his people and reveal the truth. [4 AP for the continued construction of the fleet] "To my beloved citizens of the most Holy Kingdom of Eadn," The Sultan paused, looking into the camera and removing his glasses. The weight of the words which he prepared bared down on him like the weight of an elephant, but he pressed on. "For centuries, mankind looked up to the stars and asked himself about his place in this vast, beautiful universe that we inhabit. For a long time, we tried to figure out why we were here, but soon we came to ask ourselves an even more important question; are we alone? My fellow Eadni, I address you tonight with the answer to that question... No, we are not alone. Six years ago, the High Court detected an alien vessel of considerable size on the edge of our solar system, the Ibrahim system, and we chose not to make contact. After a few weeks, the vessel moved on. We presume it was conducting a simple scan of the area and we have not made contact since. Our reasoning was simple: if these beings would be hostile, we were simply not prepared to engage and contact may have meant the death of mankind as we know it. To be clear, we do not know if these aliens were indeed hostile, but we of the High Court chose not to make contact based on the chance, however small, that they were. This will continue to be our policy going forward, until the High Court feels as though we are capable of defending ourselves should an encounter occur. As we prepare to set out into the great frontier of space and claim our place amongst the stars, our policy of contact will be simple - no contact. Perhaps my heir will change this policy when he feels we are ready to embrace these aliens, but I will not risk putting all of you, my beautiful children and survivors of the great plight of mankind, in harms way. Thank you for your time, good evening." 15. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn Population: 108,000 Eadni Fleet: 3 Sulemain Class Frigates [Warp Equipped] 12 Falcon-I Fighters With nothing of much circumstance going on in the Holy Kingdom and with the industrial sectors booming, the High Court continues to commission the construction with a goal of 12 frigates in a decade or less. When news returns to the colony of the success of the first warp drive, several celebrations occur with many hailing this achievement as a new era in human exploration. Since the Eadni have no idea that other civilizations from Earth still exist, the Eadni take it upon themselves to become the heritage of mankind. The Sultan issues a proclamation of heritage, aptly named for its purpose, expressing a desire to have Eadni on at least 3 different worlds over the next 30 years. Small preparations would be made for such journeys, but for now nothing concrete would be conducted. [4 AP] The continued construction of Sulemain Class Frigates for the expansion of the new fleet that would bring the stars closer for the Eadni people.
  16. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn Work continues on the frigates, pushing them out as efficiently as possible. Understanding the amount of resources needed, the Kingdom will continue to up the pace with which they build the frigates. [4 AP] The continued construction of the remaining 12 frigates, w/ warp drive if test successful. [MOD ACTION REQUIRED] The first frigate equipped with a warp drive leaves the spaceport, manned with a full crew. Once basic system checks are in order, the High Court orders the warp drive to be tested. Coordinates are set to the neighboring star system and the warp drives are engaged... now what?
  17. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn Star: Ibrahim Population: 104,000 With the first frigate completed, a grand celebration is held among the highest officials of the Eadni court. During this exclusive meeting of the most elite in Eadni society, the Sultan makes clear of his plans to order a dozen frigates, an order he hopes to have completed in 2 years or less. Considering the incredible amount of money and resources poured into the massive spaceport, certainly large enough to construct two frigates at a time, the Sultan considers this order reasonable. The first frigate will be designated the HMS Khalifa and will be the flagship of the new RENF, or Royal Eadni Naval Forces. RENF command will not be based out of the capital, but instead in Aljadid Dubai and a state of the art command center will be constructed there. [2 AP] The first stage of construction of the order of 12 frigates. With the hypothetical questions of the warp drive out of the way and the conceptualization completed, it was time for a physical test. A thirteenth frigate would be constructed alongside the twelve that the Sultan ordered with the thirteenth being fitted with the warp drive. The new frigates would be designed so that if the warp drive was successful, a new drive could be fitted onto the entire fleet of frigates. In the year 2120, the first human-built warp drive (as far as the Eadni were aware) would be tested. If successful, the frigate would warp back and report of the finding as they have no way of communicating once beyond the Ibrahim system. [2 AP] The testing of the nation's first Warp Drive.

With this in mind, the Eadni government quietly implemented a program to build the first space Frigate in the known history of humanity. Designs would be drawn up, with many concepts in space travel from the fighter being upscaled tremendously. The key difference though was in how to make the frigate sustain itself in the void of space. Once launched, the frigate would never return to earth and as such would need to power itself. Such an issue would be solved by utilizing the Helium-3 (H3) mined from the moons orbiting Eadn to build twin cold-fusion reactors capable of powering the ship. With these ideas in mind, the Eadni set out to construct such a ship. --- Many Eadni citizens still could not understand exactly why the Eadni High Court insisted on constructing military forces when more pressing matters existed. When pressed on the issue, Court officials would simply state that if aliens were real, the court would rather not let the Kingdom be caught off guard. [2 AP] The researching and beginning stages of testing a new frigate. Extensive computer simulations would be utilized in order to avoid spending too much money or resources on building actual pieces to fail. Now that the mathematics was largely in place, the Eadni government set out on constructing actual prototypes and designing a functional warp drive to use in testing. Like most Eadni projects, rather than spending vasts amount of money on physically constructing such prototypes, complex computer simulations are run with the hope of cutting costs by conducting several tests in a virtual space. 19. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn Population: 100,000 Star: Ibrahim Off-World Operations 2 - Eadni Moon H3 Mines 1 - Defense Platform One 1 - In-Progress Shipyard With the first stages of the shipyard being complete, the High Court announces a massive expansion that will one day allow for ships of a grand size to be constructed in orbit. Since the lead engineer's brain was enhanced by a strange cybernetic white coat, his production capability has doubled and allowed him to solve some serious production and logistical issues. [4 AP] The continued work on a new Shipyard, the best money and materials can make. It's massive, the most ambitious structure ever built by man and supplemented by autonomous low-orbit drones to make things easier. (Yeah, you're right, I need a space port). Meanwhile on Eadn, scientists are perplexed as to why such issues are occurring with the probes. In order to properly solve such an issue, the scientists decide that they need something capable of traveling to these systems - manned - so that they might observe them for themselves. As such, a sort of warp drive is planned using highly complex science involving quantum physics and other previously unthinkable mumbo-jumbo. The hope is to have this idea pan out over the next decade or so. [2 AP] The conceptualization of a warp drive. The idea is to install it on the new Falcon-I fighters.
  20. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn Population: 98,000 Star: Ibrahim Off-World Operations 2 - Eadni Moon H3 Mines 1 - Defense Platform One With the success of the interplanetary fighter, the project now dubbed the Falcon-I fighter (named for one of the bird responsible for one of the Sultan's favorite pastimes, falconry) was revealed to the masses of the Eadni Kingdom. They watched in awe as the first fully operational Falcon-I soared over the city of Eadn and into the stars to dock with Defense Platform One (the new name for the designed ark). From there, the new fighters would patrol the Ibrahim system and protect the sovereign interests of the Kingdom. In a wildly scrutinized move by the Eadni High Court, the designs for the fighter leaked to several aerospace companies purely by accident. It would seem as though the government was silently encouraging these businesses to design their own version of the fighter to sell for commercial use, allowing Eadni citizens to become proficient in piloting and operating such vehicles. While many criticized the High Court for failing to contain such an important secret, the Press Secretary of the Sultan largely dismissed such criticisms stating that the commercialization of individual spaceflight would benefit the Kingdom long term. ---- Privately, the Sultan and his military commanders believed that providing the operating system of the fighter to the public would benefit the new Navy which they hoped to establish by providing familiarity with flight systems to many of citizens. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/bf/73/33/bf7333e498fe092687d0e43f21a16645.jpg With the success of the fighter came the desire to build something larger. [2 AP] The researching and beginning stages of testing a new frigate. Extensive computer simulations would be utilized in order to avoid spending too much money or resources on building actual pieces to fail. In the interest of the Eadni people, the Sultan announces a grand new endeavour in the cosmos. The Eadni Space Corps would launch over the next year 10 lightweight probes that would move into neighboring systems, scouting them out for resources and signs of life. The expedition intended to branch out the reach of the Eadni government, and provide excitement for the Eadni people that will hopefully push them to explore the stars. [2 AP] The probing of several distant systems around the Ibrahim system.
  21. The Holy Kingdom Eadn Population - 96,000 Work continues on the Space Supremacy fighter with the intention of making the ship capable of traversing a given solar system and be capable of doing so with a decent reserve of fuel remaining. Solutions such as new fuel sources were looked into, as well as improving fusion energy. [2 AP] Improving the range of the fighter. Meanwhile, the High Court decides that the best means of enriching the Kingdom will be by providing subsidies to new corporations looking to exploit the planets and moons surrounding Eadn. Subsequently, several contracts are awarded to several companies and they are given incentives to begin enterprises off-world. However, the companies had not exactly needed the push to go offworld as man were merely awaiting permission from the Islamic government to do so. Now that the spaceports were open, business would flow. [2 AP] Encouraging, funding, and growing business off-world in the form of mining, tourism, and exploration.
  22. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn مملكة عدن Population: 88,000Eadni Year 08 - The Planet Eadn ---- The stubbornness of the High Court of Eadn would not allow them to relent on the completion of the remaining 8,000 pops needed to fill the new city of Aljadid Dubai. Again, many resources are poured into the completion of this project, however not as much as the last two years as this is the lowest amount of pops they needed to produce in a given year. [2 AP] The final stage of population production - 8,000 pops. With the installation of a fusion drive prototype installed and more resources allocated to the space fighter. The goal of such resources is to figure out the fuel source issues and find a way to make such a fighter efficient. Weapons platforms for the spacecraft are also studied, though most resources are intended for the fuel issue. [2 AP] - Development of fuel and weapons platforms for the space superiority fighter; though mostly fuel. [6 AP Accumulation for fighter]
  23. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn مملكة عدن Population: 73,500Eadni Year 07 - The Planet Eadn ---- With the failure to allocate enough resources to allow the scientists to adequately do their jobs, the Sultan of Eadn vows to never allow such a catastrophe again. With that in mind, the Sultan allocates nearly all available resources toward the project to reach the targeted goal of 30,000 within the year. The population created (the additional 7,500) are moved to the settlement site and begin to establish the new city. Perhaps sending in a sizeable wave ahead of the full wave may turn out to be a blessing in disguise? [3 AP] Resources allocated to complete the remaining 22,500 pops needed to populate the new city. [1 AP] Only project with continued funding - the development of the space superiority fighter [4 AP Cumulative, will continue to invest until completed. Progress would slow due to allocation toward the pop construction] Meanwhile, the Sultan looks over a map of the solar system and the stars immediately surrounding his own. With help from advisors and advanced telescopes, the High Court of the Sultan begins charting probable hotbeds for resources throughout the solar system. With this information, the Kingdom would hopefully be able to one day actually send probes to these planets to test their hypothesis.
  24. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn مملكة عدن Population: 66,000Eadni Year 06 - The Planet Eadn ---- Now that the great factories were up and running, the full production machine of the Holy Kingdom would be put into effect. Critical materials for construction and industry were produced in these factories at an astounding rate and the energy required to run these plants was entirely powered by the Eadni sun and wind; or as the Court of Eadn enjoyed saying operated by Allah. With the employment of the simpletons, quality of life in these plants was fairly awful, but the trade off was incredible efficiency as employees could be replaced rather simply. With the new surplus in construction goods and hardware, the Holy Kingdom of Eadn (with the alien they detected in the back of their mind) decided to quietly put into place a plan to develop a 'space superiority' fighter using ballistic technologies as weapons platforms. It would be powered by a fusion reactor and would deploy from the surface of Eadn straight into space. This would take a few years to carry out. [3 AP] The secret development of a space superiority fighter With the announcement of the establishment of a second settlement, the Holy Kingdom of Eadn has begun an initiative to produce 30,000 new members of society over the next two years at a rate of 15,000 per year. This would consist of about 10,000 grunts for services, 12,000 middle class 'regs,' and 8,000 upper class citizens. This would form the population of Aljadid Dubai. [1 AP] The production of the population of Aljadid Dubai and the beginnings of establishing the settlement.
  25. The Holy Kingdom of Eadn مملكة عدنEadni Year 05 - Eadn City ------------ Work on the projects from the previous year continue, both of which were expected to take a fairly decent amount of time. Given the resources on the planet, ideas are drafted in regards to mining other planets in the solar system - however they do not go into action as other plans must be carried out before such things can occur. [2 AP] The completion of the giga-factory installations as well as the production of grunt workers for those camps. [2AP] The continued work of retrofitting the ark into a mobile space defense platform. In the Great Palace in Eadn City, the 4th prayer of the day ends and all members of the High Court are assembled in a meeting room overlooking the beautiful settlement of Eadn City. The Eadni people have done well for the last five years; establishing sprawling farms and greenhouses, building great towers, and producing great art and religious pieces. King Khalifa Saud-Al Nahyan chose to make a speech to his people - one that would reinforce the principles of their new society. "Sons and daughters of Allah, I come before you today to reflect on the first five years in our new home. The growth of Eadn City is unprecedented and the prosperity in our great city is unlike anything else previously observed in human history. Everybody prospers, nobody despairs, and everybody is equal in their individual worth to society - equal in the eyes of Allah. In the coming years, we will boost our production of all essential materials and soon our population will flourish thanks to advancements in the fields of genetic engineering and embryonic developments. In celebration of our first half decade, I would like to announce the establishment of a second city - Aljadid Dubai. It will be entirely populated by genetically created individuals."
