    Is there an RP mechanic that nullifies or dispells magic?  Too many ascended have been breezing through my dungeon encounters and I need something that makes RP sense that can counter such magic.

    Dark beasts burst out of Chambery's sewers attacking its people.  Wave after wave of foul beast will be ready to turn the town into a pile of ash.

    Is there a similar organization to the Mages Guild around?  I am looking for some assistance in getting background lore for a dungeon project on LOTC and need help from such a group.
