Ahh, I might have to have a different area for redstoning purposes just because it is abit cramped with my Tavern up stairs. Although I know a place that we can temporarily use as a HQ, although it is one of my plots in the North but it is quite dangerous because it is outside the Northern Oren wall that separated us from the undead! That area is very huge and has potential on being a Lab. I am well on my way on finishing my Physics lab under The Waterfell and you can start sending in people in a week's time. The area will have a lecture room where I could formally teach people about my work and research and there ill also be the experiments room which is basically an empty room open for different testings and set ups. I am happy to be the first to run a Physics lab, although this would be involving experiments and "excursions" out of the Academy to do things like, Cliff diving to see if you would survive on water and stuff like that. This idea could be very fascinating! Am I allowed to teach this in your Order?

I don't think this would work as good as you think it will. As you know the undead has spells which they can either blink in or spell their way through the walls
