  2. I'm fine with this, though not as playable race/creature. Make this the background lore for Iron Golem mobs or something instead. I remember we mass-produced those back in the Fringe, to deal with pigmen invasions.

  9. Cave Goblins Habitat: Mountainous regions and caverns Description: Often mistaken for Goblins descending from Krug, Cave Goblins are a different breed entirely. Their skin color is usually gray or pale, some with a tint of blue. Cunning and hostile to outsiders, they usually inhabit grottos and places that are hard to reach for those of larger stature. The Cave Goblins form tribes, guarding their territories fiercely from potential threats, as well as from other tribes. They build primitive huts of twig, and bones from large creatures long since gone, usually settling in old ruins and crevices. As such they have been a considerable nuisance for the Dwarves of Urguan, stealing resources and ambushing those who would stray too far away from the safety of their mountain holds. Being that wood is a rare commodity in the cavernous depths, most goblins make use of bones to craft tools and weapons. Bone tipped arrows, bone knives and bows are common instruments used by the Cave Goblins. The Cave Goblin diet usually consists of mushrooms found in grottos. Given that most of these fungi contain many toxins, it is theorized that this diet is the cause of the Cave Goblins' feral nature. They also hunt whatever game they can find, such as spiders or mammals. Cannibalism, as well as the consumption of human or dwarven flesh, is not unknown to most tribes. Given the Cave Goblins' small and slim stature, they are relatively weak in melee combat. What they lack in strength however, they make up for in numbers and cunning guerilla warfare. Relying heavily on their archers and hidden flanking tactics, they can prove a considerable threat to even the most experienced of soldiers. Some tribes have also been known to tame or befriend other cavernous creatures, such as trolls and giant spiders, bolstering their threat significantly. 15. Requesting time change; 2 days is too short.
  16. Simmer down friend, it's a game. Since when did the skygods decide you could not warclaim our capital? Sure, we gave you rather bad terms, but regardless we were ready for meet you on the battlefield. Oren pulled back the warclaim, not the GMs. As for casus belli, it died with the war in the north. The Dwarves lost all their land in the north (including tons of material wealth in Hiebenhall, mind you), and yet somehow, casus belli persisted, letting you go ahead and engage in yet another, new war, now with the ultimate goal of destroying the Grand Kingdom in its entirety, of which we've argued for a long time still has no casus belli. Regardless, the staff was unwilling to enforce their own war rules, so we went ahead and prepared for the worst, presenting our terms, of which you chose to deny. Whatever "conflict" it is you are trying to project, the dwarves want no part in it. Obviously, the other half does.
  17. I believe this is already a thing regardless, considering 501's response. Allow me to re-iterate, if not clarify what we request, as I believe I worded said term poorly: laddering up said mountain is something we will argue is not sound in RP, considering the mountains in question (tall, snowy peaks behind the capital etc), cannot be climbed by iron-cladded legions with a few rickety, wooden ladders (of which would have to be ridiculously large, and clunky to transport up a massive mountain ridge anyway). Climbing up without the usage of ladders however, is of course acceptable. As for small hills and walls, where using ladders would RPly be a sound solution in overcoming said obstacle is okay as well.
  18. Well, this has been quite a confusing process, with little to no communication between the two nations, even less from the staff and their reasoning as to first denying the warclaim in question, only to see it revived out of the blue a week later. I'm hoping such can be avoided in the future. Regardless, the Dwarves have reached a conclusion and will accept the warclaim as a pillage, presenting the following terms for the battle: As for time, this weekend Sunday the 19th. Questions, concerns, let me know.
