I think you are going about this the wrong way.

Coming up with a idea is not hard, organising something up to 50 people is. If you can manage to organise 50 people to compete in this olympics, I dont see why you shouldn't go for it.

There's nothing wrong with trying to rip a idea and playing it out, my only issue is accessibility. If you want to make a event, it shouldnt be for just a few people. It has to be available to more people.
