The science department has made an amazing discovery; the very first step towards creating what was previously thought impossible. The technology of the deflector shield would be locked away along with the colonies other tech securely in the colonies Citadel with heavy encryption and locks to deter any prodding fingers with guards watching the entrances. Meanwhile they continue to work hard and diligently at trying to improve the deflector shields strength while relying the use of Xylorite crystals as a power source. Aurora Aurorian Technocracy August sighs reading over her latest update from the council members; the engineering teams were stubborn and had decided to simply expand the already built shipyard. Shaking her head she sighs ‘Guess that's one way to do it..’ she mumbles before going to sit down at her desk and pull out a sleek version of the VR headsets that have been circulating and slip it on. Soon she’d be thrown into a virtual meeting room with the council members already seated and waiting for her, nodding to them all she would clear her throat before commencing the long meeting in the virtual world. After around two hours of discussion all of the council members would sign off from the virtual world, this method being much more easier with how busy they have all become. Soon work continues as planned; however many concerns were brought up over the Karrass Dominion’s annexation of a human colony and the takeover of the Galaron. Meanwhile in the colony progress would be slow but it would be there, the worm farm would be finished and the worms tended to in return for farming their eggs for an easy way to get food. The forests are still watched by patrols of military personnel just to make sure no brave massive animals tried venturing to close to the colonies large city. Work continues to be poured into the shield emitter; the prospect of making a name for themselves in the colony playing a small part in their excitement of this task. The construction of the Helix colony ship also resumes; supplies being put aside for the future of colonizing a nearby planet. Aurora Aurorian Imperium The Aurorian Council would not meet in person like they usually do, being too busy and to exhausted to do so they would simply send each other messages. As the year dragged on it was clear that the shipyard would not be big enough to house such massive ships, like the colony and that's not even scratching the surface of things. So, an expansion of the Aurorian Space station Helix is planned and will begin; plotting to construct a large shipyard into the station(lvl 3 Shipyard construction). Meanwhile, the Aurorian scientists hit a stroke of luck; a recent trade deal with the Terran Federation has granted them access to the Xylorite crystals which gives them a powerful energy source to use. The research and studies commence, researching and trying to create the shield emitter using the new Xylorite crystals as a energy source. (Stupid forum) Aurora Aurorian Imperium The council of Aurora would hold a meeting with August, Engineer Cynthia, Fernando and Foreman George showing up one after the other to attend. Soon the meeting would be under way after everyone takes their designated seat; the council room would be more organized and neat with the newly designed flag finally being hung up on the wall. August would start the meeting reading off a few numbers or statistics about the colonies recent years before turning to the council members “So, how is progress on your teams ends?” she asks crossing her arms and waiting. First Engineer Cynthia stands holding a new futuristic tablet “Well the factory is underway creating more of the Zeus rail guns although at a slow pace its much better than doing them by hand” She comments thinking “Oh right we’ve begun working with the people from the other colonies on a prototype for Artifical Gravity” she says rattling off the names of the colonies; New Sephoria, Terran Federation, and the Remnants. August nods “Good that’ll be very useful for our ships...make sure you focus on that, Fernando give them some help would you?” She asks to which Fernando sighs and nods before standing “Alright well we’ve made significant progress with the robots, we’ve got the head models down and now we need to run multiple test runs..fix a few things before we can officially call these robots functional and capable of doing tasks” He says taping on his tablet a few times and nods. August smiles “I hear that the coding is also coming along nicely, I would like your coders to work more on these...we need to make sure our robots arent so easily hacked and yes I know we have alien empires around us but...just try to get some help from them” She nods; Fernando agreeing before quieting. George would be the next to stand up clearing his throat “Its safe to say I think we’ve actually domesticated these...worms..even though we’ve made them a farm they seem very attached to human interaction some of the people on the outskirts of the city even taking to feed the things!” He laughs grinning before clearing his throat in embarrassment “Any how...the farms going quite well..the chefs are working hard to farm up the eggs and giving us more than we need in eggs so...breakfast is never a real issue.” He thinks “I believe its time for us to expand more through this world...we need more farms...more industrial capabilities and more houses” He rattles off a few suggestions. August quietly listens before she would nod “I agree...let's start to work on these issues people...we have a long way to go before we’re safe from threats coming from space” She says. Soon the council hall would empty with each council leader being lead by a group of guards. With the robotics and coding teams working diligently at their task progress goes fairly well, a fresh batch of robots are assembled; software being installed into the back of their heads. The two teams would work together on this joint project, the first tests would be basic tasks starting with the grasping motions while someone sits near by connected to the robot with the head set. Gradually the tests would progress to tougher and more difficult tasks from carrying objects or climbing/walking over rough terrain. Meanwhile an expansion project is created, industrial sectors and agricultural sectors being assigned around the capital along with various housing complexes. Of course a standard of living is to be upheld, running water and the likes being a necessity for any household; the colonies government would be overseeing many of these construction projects with Foreman George at the head of each. A trade deal would also be offered to the Tassarean Republic, Protorian Council, The Grgl(?) and Confederation of Xaplonius; trying to simply increase the flow of trade between the colony and the aliens and attract possibly more scientists with the opportunity to make a name if only small one in the creation of the various projects the colony does. ~Ap points~ Current Total: 6 1 AP is used issuing a trade deal with: Tassarean Republic, Confederation of Xaplonius, Protorian Council, and the Grgl trying to increase the flow of trade between Aurora and the Alien empires while also promoting the colonies scientific and engineering departments. 1 AP is used to begin the expansion project, expanding from the capital more factories and environmentally safe power plants would be built at a steady pace, larger farms being set up in beneficial spots. Aurora Aurorian Imperium The Districts of the Aurorian Imperium would be growing nicely, the population growing and they would even see some Tassarian and Glgrl coming to live on their huge planet. Of course, like usual there would be a few opposition as a few xenophobes voicing their opinion on the colonies internet. But these would be insignificant and left alone as a majority of the people seem to love the new aliens as they mingle with the local population. With tests going well, The Zeus would be more power efficient and capable of shooting more per battery charge. The soldiers would gradually be armed with these new rifles and each given enough battery packs to get by. Meanwhile the next problem will be addressed; expensive production and how long it takes to create these powerful rifles, soon plans to create a factory in one of the newer districts is put into work. The factory would be ran with human managers however robots would be doing the main work as these rifles required precision and a careful touch that only specially designed robots could supply. Meanwhile the people seem to be in a good mood, out of all the colonies the Aurorian Imperium was elected on to the Galactic council, however everyone would know that currently they were too weak and ill-prepared for any of these huge ambitions the other alien empires had set out. The work on robotics would continue as planned, engineer and scientist alike working hard to create the perfect humanoid robot; a robot that could be quickly modified to fit the suited job. Aurora Aurorian Imperium The council of Aurora would not meet as much this time, simply sending messages between one another as they all have important assignments to oversee. The planet would be surveyed completely and Fernando’s people would be working on many new projects in their large science labs with the help of Cynthia’s engineers who help with the robots. With the colonies first vessel now in space plans to survey the various planets and moons in the solar system are made however they would not begin the exploration, instead they would focus their efforts on the things on the planet. Fernando and Cynthia’s crew would be the busiest they been in a while now, this year working together to create the humanoid robots. They would also begin to work on creating a high tech VR headset that would go along with the robots to have sort of pilots for intense situations, meanwhile both crews would work to try and improve the Zeus Rail gun rifle’s energy problem; trying to solve this in any way they can think of as long as the rifle could still be carried around easily. The cooks of the Aurora cafeteria staff would be given half the gathered eggs after some intense gathering operations to grab as many eggs as they could find; half of them going to the cooks to make food for the people out of them after making sure the eggs weren't dangerous. The other portion of the eggs would go to the research and agriculture teams to try and find out if they could hatch these creatures in a controlled environment. Aurora Aurorian Imperium The council would meet like they usually do; every week with reports whether they be big or small. The room would steadily be filled with guards armed with normal ballistic rifles and a few with the new Zeus Railgun, there would be a machine setup to record the meeting while Chief Engineer Cynthia, Head scientists Fernando, Foreman George and Leader August file into the small room. “So people, we just recently got wind of a rumor that our alien friend has made contact with another nation or race north of our solar system..Least to say the encounter was not friendly and supposedly they lost two ships in the engagement” August says clearly while checking her electronic clipboard frowning “If our alien ‘friends’, people who have much superior technology than us lost to another nation I believe that is warrant for worry even if it is simply a rumor..”, All three of the council members would nod with frowns on their faces. Cynthia would stand nodding a bit “I believe now that the space station has been finished we should start trying to construct our own fleet if only a small one” She says thinking “If not that we could continue observing the planet or delving deeper into it to see what we can find” she says to which George would nod “I agree on that part at least, you never know what this large planet might have hidden..” He says. After a few more comments on the planet Fernando would have his turn and would stand looking about “I think we should resume some old research options from Earth, things like Robotics and improving upon our current Zeus model” He says clearing his throat “My people are excited to get to work” he nods. Soon August would listen to the three reading off the charts displaying progress and the needs and wants of the citizens, they would all leave the council room in a hurry with each of their respective tasks to go do. The council members would all head off to their districts, which have grown larger over the past years and a sizable market place having slowly grown in the center of the city. Fernando and his chief scientists would begin to delve further into old schematics and theories about robotics, improving upon these to try and create a sort of humanoid robot and gives them some basic tasks while another section would resume the tests on Zeus Mark I(Railgun rifle); attempting to reduce production cost and find a way to solve the fragility of it along with the energy cost. Meanwhile George and his workers would continue drilling further into the earth, a steady increase of guards being posted after some concerns about large beasts in the underground being brought up. Most of the minerals gathered would begin to be funneled into the construction of Aurora’s first Corvette, which would be built in the ship assembly hall with the help of engineers and workers. ~Ap points~ 1 AP put into resuming the tests on the railgun weapons, they would attempt to try and reduce production cost along with trying to improve most of the factors from the previous models. 1 AP is used beginning test trials on robotics, attempts to create humanoid-ish robots would begin and they would be given simple tasks in a control environment. 1 AP is used delving further into mining operations, drilling and mining further into the earth; mostly tunneling and adding supports. Concerns are brought up among worker staff and a few guards about the possibility of disturbing some kind of creature that lives underground. Aurora Aurorian Imperium More frequent meetings would be held due to the introduction of two alien races now interacting with the colony, most of them solving financial disputes and issues and none really of any importance. However come around, the colony would be relatively stable and August along with her chief engineer Cynthia would both agree it was time to expand out into their new world and scout it out more along with delving deeper into its crust. Soon mining efforts are renewed, until now they would have just been to get the resources they needed to meet ends but now in an effort to see if there are any irregularities in the planet they now call home mining efforts would be renewed. Recon ships are also sent out after making sure the roads that have so far been properly established and set up with proper outposts to survey the planet they lived on, planning on giving them enough supplies to make the trip around the large planet. Aurora Aurorian Imperium The entire colony was in a celebratory mood, the very first warp was a massive success. However the council called an emergency meeting when an alien ship appears quickly after the test was a success, two alien races encountered completely proving already that they were not alone in this universe. August would remain standing frowning as she looks over her clip board while the others do identical things with their own electronic devices as they scramble their departments to do certain things. Aurora Aurorian Imperium August would sigh having stayed up till late last night, going over paperwork and discussing some important matters with some others that she wouldn't make the council meeting this time and so she simply sent someone to let her know what was discussed during the meeting. They would be given what she was voting for and planning on each of the council members to do but would be swamped with paperwork at the time being. The council meeting would end fairly quickly; everyone leaving with their own assignments they each took upon themselves to do with August’s suggestions. First Fernando would continue the tests of shrinking the railgun into a weapon the soldiers could carry while resuming the testing with the Experimental engines from before. Aurora Aurorian Imperium Reports of the inspection of the downed spacecraft would flow in steadily over the last year, August and her council reading each and every one of them intently. At the start of the new year as the inspections begin to die down and the groups look to their spokespersons for their next task the council would meet once more much like last time. August would stride into the council room flanked by two security guards armed with the basic weapons that was brought with them, quickly she would take a seat curiously looking about the council room. Two out of three of the members would be there, “Where’s George everyone?” She asks politely before looking to both Fernado and Cynthia. Cynthia would speak up first “George said he had to go help supervise the construction, he's been pretty busy over the last year due to the construction efforts we’ve been piling on him...pity” She says with a sigh to which Fernado nods a little “Yes, but hes doing good work...the roads are safe it appears which is a blessing upon itself due to the massive fauna and flora we’ve encountered here on our little piece of Utopia”. August would give a little nod “Very well, we must continue this meeting without him then” she snaps her fingers to the reporter that would have recently been implemented to type everything down and make sure it's recorded as well, indicating to begin the process. Standing, August would pick up her digital clip board and begin reading off the reports “Over the past year we have successfully finished road construction to all the sites of important, no threatening creatures have intruded on the workers luckily..Next the Assembly hall is almost finished and ready to build ships, all that's left is for George and Cynthia’s people to begin the finishing touches” She nods to the two council members “Next on the list, Fernado good job with your progress on the experimental drives...continue with the good work” She says before looking to Cynthia “Good job so far with the ship by the way, Ill need your people to write down all those symbols and send them to Fernado-Fernado ill need your people to try and decipher them later on...Also Cynthia ill need you to try and figure out how to power that ship up or at least figure something out with the engine room..”. August would give a sigh then a little smile “Good job people, we’ve survived another year on Aurora..Keep up the good work everyone also be careful on the road please” She says “Meeting adjourned” and with those two words the reporter would stop recording and typing. Fernado would immediately head out towards his research wing which has over the year grown through the mountain size, he would begin working with some of Cynthia’s engineers to put the experimental drives on some spare recon ships and plan the next phase of the tests. Meanwhile Cynthia’s people would be busy at work, making sure to write down the alien writings in separate digital files while another half begins fiddling with the engine room. They would begin with the reactor going to try and power it up more with electricity generators; after these are done they would try and figure out how everything works with plans being drawn up. Aurora Aurorian Imperium The small council of scientists, engineers and workers all having been elected by their peers would sit in the colonies meeting room discussing possible adjustments to the colony before August would walk in flanked by two armed soldiers who wear the best armor available along with assault rifles. Soon the meeting hall would fall quiet as August takes her seat at the circle and clears her throat “Okay people, as you should all already know we have recently discovered an alien space craft; a warship to be perhaps and I am here to get your thoughts on this matter..” August says clearly, fixing her regal outfit a bit before sitting up straight looking to the three members of the council who were permitted to give their say. First the Scientists council member would stand clearing his throat as he adjusts his lab coat holding a small clip board with some notes; his name was Fernado “Well Ms. August me and my colleagues have come to the conclusion that we should study as much as we can of the downed spacecraft...perhaps we can learn of new technology and how this races people travelled the stars..” August would nod before looking to the Engineers spokesperson. This woman would be called Cynthia and she would nod politely before speaking up “Welp, Here’s how I see it...we got a old crashed spacecraft...and I think me and my boys could-if you’d let us with some help fix this ship up to be...roughly good as new!” she says with a smile before taking her seat after sharing her view point. Soon the construction/worker’s spokes man would stand up wearing what would pass for formal wear in the colony, George would clear his throat glancing around the table and shrugging as he spoke “Well, I dont care what we do with it however just make sure this old ship doesnt go killing my boys when we go tinkering with it..” he says in a deep rumbling of a voice. After August waits for a bit she would nod “Then it is settled, we shall try to study the ships technology...see what what can learn from this thing and then afterwards the engineers are welcome to tinker with it and see if they can it into working order. George please see to it that your workers help out clearing out the foliage and trees inside the ship so we can look better at what we got” She says before standing “This meeting has come to a close” She finally says and motions for her guards to follow her out of the meeting room heading off at a brisk pace. With the meeting adjourned, the spokesmen and women would head out to their respective sections in the colony to organize their people for the job ahead. Soon the recon ships would begin to cart the groups back and forth along with supplies as fast as possible. The dead alien space craft would begin to be studied intensely by the Scientists group while the work force would begin to carefully and slowly remove the foliage from the ship careful not to destroy or harm any of the ship's interior while another group of workers begins collecting the long dead 62 crew members and placing them in a tent to be examined by scientists. The Engineering group, while they wait their turn to begin studying the ships mechanics and technology like the scientists would assist in the creating secure paths to the crash site, the new mining area and the Ship Assembly building. ~Ap points~ 1 AP is used finishing creating and securing the paths to the various sites(mining site, crashed ship site, and the assembly hall). Some military vehicles watch over the workers armed and prepared to scare off any hostile creatures. 1 AP is used in continuing the inspection of the downed space craft, first the scientists would begin trying to understand the technology that the ship used. Aurora Aurorian Imperium August would be met with disappointment as she is soon told the results of dismantling and trying to figure out how to make the jump drive work properly, it had failed horribly; the science team could not come up with any reasonable explanation as to why or how it worked and why it malfunctioned. So, August decided to stop focusing on what HAD brought them here and look to the current and future; they had just found an alien spacecraft near by. Immediately large teams of soldiers, scientists and engineers are organized and dispatched to form a secure perimeter around the spacecraft and begin studying its design and the possibility of learning anything from it. They first started to study the deceased alien in the suit who had almost obviously died from either the crash or from an unknown attack, most likely the crash was what did it but the everyone could not rule out an attack. Once the perimeter around the downed spacecraft was properly established they would be looking to the spacecraft going to attempt to look further into the ship; being cautious as they send in teams of soldiers, scientists and engineers. Meanwhile in the colony the ship that had brought them here would steadily and carefully begin being properly deconstructed and its power cells/system would be contributed to the start of a large scale facility that would be built a distance away from the actual colony. Its purpose would be to create both small and medium ships for space purposes while, the large creatures that roamed the planet they had settled on would prove to be an annoyance and a difficulty as they interrupt some construction but other wise would be gentle creatures save for the carnivores however they would be easily dealt with after a few shots are fired at them to make them stay away. ~Ap points~ 1 AP is used beginning a creation of a large scale mining operation away from the colony, using the colonies current scout crafts to help transport supplies while routes are made and properly secured. 1 AP is used in inspecting the alien spacecraft, the strange medicine and dead bodies being searched and analyzed along with the ship itself in large teams. 1 AP is used deconstructing the Ark which until now had been a storage hub and the beginning of a large spacecraft facility which would be built a good distance from the actual colony which continues to build around and in the mountain. 1 AP the colonies science division begins to search for a way to mimic the jump drive, trying to use it as something to go off if possible. Aurora Aurorian Imperium “Alright everyone it's a new day lets get to work” says August; the leader of the Auroran Imperium while she walks through the new section of the colonies complex. They had just finished expanding the colony through the mountainside. August would come to a stop staring out of the reinforced window looking at the view that showed her the planet that they had only arrived on a year ago and already the area at the base of the mountain was busy building and expanding. They would have arrived, confused and shocked that they were the only one’s around; in front of them a planet that looked nothing like the one they had planned for. Immediately a few scans are done of the planet while some of the crew voice worries over the malfunctioning hyperdrive. Once the proper scans are done the colonists reluctantly gather and eventually descend to the Alpine World, the world would be covered in mountains or alpine forests. The planet would seem to have a stable atmosphere and plenty strange creatures roam the world some are huge; going as tall as the trees and the weather would switch between cold winters or warm humid springs and summers. Soon the colony would have been established and only then the group of scientists, engineers and groups of normal citizens gather and discuss the need for a government. Eventually they would all come to a decision; the simplest government they believed would work out currently would be a simple leader with a council to help guide them; and so August would be named the Leader of the Aurora colony. They would have made an indoor garden to grow the food that the colony needed at first, at least until they figured out and learned that most of the plants could survive in this planet's soil. Soon the colony would be properly set up in one of the larger mountain area’s on the planet and more building is done. Soon expeditions are sent out searching for mineral and ore deposits or simply anything unnatural. While this is being done the majority of the populace agree that the hyper drive that brought them here needed to be looked over and broken down; they must learn how to make it more accurate and stable for future space related missions. ~Ap points~ 2 AP is used sending out multiple expeditions around the colony for minerals, ores or anything unnatural. 2 AP is used taking apart the hyperdrive and learning how it works for the first time, trying to make it work how it was predicted to work. ~Logistics~ Population: 100,000 Total Population Military: 15,000 soldiers Ships: Colony Aurora: Current status is being used as a storage hub/home.

History: The Aurora Colony would have been settled and colonized by a group of scientists, engineers and their families. The shuttle that brought them to their new home world would have come from a combined effort of nations mainly - Germany, Japan and Great Britain. The shuttle(name: Novis) would have arrived and quickly the scientists and engineers along with their families and few random people who had a history of construction, they would all begin setting up their new homeworld as quickly as they can. History: The Orani would have risen from an ancient royal family that took control and gathered together their people. The Orani people would steadily grow larger and expand across their planet little conflict being had as the royal family and many important members of society put a serious emphasis on knowledge and unity. Soon after many years the Orani people being lead by the royal family that had survived for so long would gain the knowledge of space travel they would look to the stars.
