A middle-aged elfess is roused from her peaceful sleep on top of a pile of books by her loyal house aide gently shoving a copy of the missive against her face. Drowsy and with some remnants of inked words on her cheek, the elfess looks over the parchment.

"You surely mustn't wake me for such drivel. ", she calls after her aide, "This happens at least once every decade!"

She grumbles nonsensically to herself before standing and storing the missive in a folder with many others.

I've dusted off my forum account just to react to this (I might have had to dive into the obscure depths of my computer to find the password again), but it's certainly worth it.

Shay and I go a long way back, apparently about 7 or 8 years, which is intense. We've grown up together and with this server. She has shown time and time again that she is deeply dedicated to this community. Shay is a wonderful person with a high level of responsibility, open to cooperation and different viewpoints.
If accepted, LOTC would have gained a hardworking and fantastic staffmember - I would love to see her flourish in this position.

As memories of the impromptu tavern crawl haunt her mind (specifically the horrid headache the day after), Lelien marks the cocktail party in her planner anyway. “Can’t miss a good party, now can I?” she mutters to herself, reminding herself to send a bird to Farandil to make sure he joins her in the festivities.

Then, in VERY LARGE LETTERS, she scribbles the opening of the Eternal Library into her planner and adds an exorbitant amount of exclamation marks and hearts.

After receiving the Stolt Standard by bird to the Dominion Lelien goes to sit down in front of the fireplace with her young daughter beside her.

Not certain what to expect, she reads the paper in confusion before being absolutely floored by the contents. She laughs and laughs, her family quite concerned.

Yes, I sure do! I always like looking through the denied applications and have myself a little giggle.

Why do you want to be an AT member and do you have the ability to work with others?
I've been a High Elf for the entire time that I've been on this server and the quality of the accepted High Elves (so said pure ones) has been declining. I just want to educate the new players instead of them just floundering about on the server with no help.
As for being able to work with others, I've never countered any problems with it, nor do I think that will happen.

Do you recognize that you will be given extra responsibilities such as working on the LoTC wiki, assisting the AT in creating guides and helping new players with their questions upon logging into LoTC?
