Don’t shame and be an asshat to new players about their rp goals or roleplay, then afterwards scream lotc is dead because new players don’t want to stay. Some of us need to take responsibility for the server’s state, and need to work together to fix it.
Shaming and being an asshat ICly is fine, of course. OOCly shaming people is bitter ****. If players seriously can’t handle being shat on in IC then they’re not mature enough to continue on the server. Don’t service this type of behavior.
Ford has a great point. If someone is acting weird ICly, react the way you properly would ICly. But in OOC, if the player cries about it, help them out and use the opportunity to teach a lesson about proper RP.
