Biography: Parents: Unknown Siblings: None that he is aware of. Children: None. Extended Family: None. Pet(s): None. History: Halbard's parents abandoned him when he was just a baby. Growing up, he lived with a 'supposed' relative Darren, however he never knew for sure whether he was related to the man. Regardless, he had a fairly good up-bringing, given the circumstances. He learned the art of furniture construction at a very young age under Darren; a master carpenter himself. Halbarad took his craft very seriously, often missing events with his friends to finish a piece he has been working on or to study in the library. After Halbard turned 20, Darren passed away after fighting an illness for many months. Darren was a very elderly man, one of the main reasons Halbard suspected they were not related. When Darren passed away, Halbarad was very lost, not having any other family to turn to, he moved in with his life-long friend. Together, they opened their first shop in a small village. Halbarad did furniture, while his friend, Bromeir handled the business side of things. There business went fairly well, and Halbard earned a good reputation in the village, however a few months later, the village was raided, causing Bromeir and Halbard to be separated. In an act of pure desperation, Halbarad set off, to find work and hopefully a home. It was on this journey he stumbled across the town of Kingston. Here, the Prince, Lancel Horen-Hightower granted Halbarad with a shop. Halbard's has always wondered who his parents truly are. He often spends his free time in the public records trying to find something that may lead him to them. Bromeir and Halbard did find each other a few months after the raid, and have since stayed in touch.
