Wanted: Swamp Troll Threat level: Medium-High Description of beast(s): The creature stands roughly 11 feet, and carries a crude "mace" of sorts, which seems to be made of a large rock (about the size of a man's head) tied to a branch. His skin is dark, green and leathery. It is presumed to be extremely violent, and should not be approached alone. Location: The troll was spotted pummeling the face of an already slain victim in the Ancillary of Ker'nor. It seems to have made it's den in a cave to the northwest of the city of Vivec. The victim remains unidentified, but, due to the beast's proximity to Vivec, is assumed to be a dark elf. Rewards: 200 minas, and anything retrieved from the monster's corpse.

There is a mature way of disagreeing with people, but this is the internet. So... I guess expecting people to be capable of intelligent dialogue is wishful thinking.

Don't PM magic teachers, asking them to teach you. In many cases, it's a good way to make sure none of them will wanna teach you. If you want your character to learn magic, let it grow naturally out of rp. It may take a long time, but it'll prove you have the dedication and an rp foundation.

that asking someone who's never seen you rp before for magic is about like asking a complete stranger for a loaded gun. You wouldn't expect that stranger (if he was a responsible gun owner) to just hand you his gun. Of course, many new players probably don't realize that magic can be so easily abused, so maybe those of us who teach it should make more of an effort to make the aware of that if/when we say no.

Crappy way to treat people. If someone spends hours and hours building something, you don't just take it away, and give it to someone else who didn't do balls.

One of these days, the AT should accept one of those "orcs killed my parents" apps just so we can see what happens if he actually tries go to the Trog and to get vengeance in rp.
