Are blue flames lore approved, if so where's the link? Otherwise idk how I feel about this so I'll consider it further.

Okay don't get me wrong I like the idea behind the lore, the backstory was nice and to be honest some people would have issues with it because of its simplicity compared. I would disagree with them and go into a few well known and written fantasy novels that don't go into nearly as much detail about their magic but it's still 'believable'. That being said after reading through it there are a few things I had trouble wrapping my head around and I'll highlight and explain each. Alrighty. Maybe you can clarify a few things and perhaps I've misunderstood the writing. However if I'm reading this correctly a shifter has three times strength of a human no matter the form. So a shifter mouse could run as fast as a horse and lift a chair? There needs to be more defined strength parameters. That being said somebody running as fast as a horse seems a little ridiculous and overpowered. Along the same lines I don't know if people going about the size of mice or being able to fly around as birds is a good idea. I believe this is a little bit of a contradiction. You're literally bypassing the redlines of a race and tripling your strength and speed, there has to be something arcane there. You're gaining the power of three men and the speed of a horse and it only counts as a feat, not to mention its other abilities and powers to make it only a feat seems a bit off. I'd personally like to see /why/ this is the case as most creatures can't learn new magic due to the very nature of their soul being altered. This would couple with its weakness to holy magic and ascended. All in all I think there needs to be more weakness besides a sensitivity to light and the typical aurum/holy magic weakness. I believe this could be a good piece of lore if the strengths and weaknesses were more refined along with a few touch up details. That being said as the lore stands I don't approve of it and would not like to see this on the server.

I like the lore, it's been much improved upon compared to other attempts or counterparts. The only thing I had issue with was the above quote. You say bright glowing object, can the be seen through clothing? Also it'd be pretty easy for people to power game its abilities. Other than those concerns everything else seems reasonable.

Do the normal redlines of conjuration still apply to binding? If so I'd put that in a redline, if not say so as well. Another thing I'd like to ask as I've never learned conjuration is what you're saying already possible except with a mana gem of sorts. Also I think it'd be important to note how much mana is beings siphoned from the mages mana pool. Can he cast other things? I'd assume no? Most of these questions come from ignorance and it not being explicitly mentioned in your lore proposal.

6-8 foot tall and a quarter of a ton in some cases. Sorry I already can't get behind this lore simply for that reason. Love the writing and the origin, it /is/ unique regardless of what anyone says and the stone aspect is something very interesting and new to the server as far as I'm aware. That being said, besides what I already stated about the height and weight, adding a new race especially one so possibly and probably powerful as this one is a dangerous game. Hou Zi had to go through quite a few alterations to make them work and even now you have to apply to even be considered to play one. I personally think this would be something better as an applicable creature and not an entire race on its own, and even then it needs to have further drawbacks besides 'the process of turning to stone nearing 300', that's close to 6 years irl.

I've legitimately been told by two Magic Mods two different things(Both will remain unnamed, neither of them are on the team anymore for various reasons). One said it's to the minds, the latest was it's an evocation with no physical presence on the physical plane. I agree there needs to be a more lm approved explanation of this, keeping it vague is somewhat confusing. Perhaps it's both allowing you to do it to individuals or if need be it can be done for a group. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There shouldn't be any reason why 3 holy groups can't get together and get enough activity going between followers and the group members themselves to get a sizeable plot of land for a city or w/e you wanna build like Devirad has.

I'm not saying they should just be given a plot of land because they happen to be part of a certain group, they should still go through the same process as everyone else.

Some people might say no right off the bat but if we take a look at Devirad I think it's a good example of what may be possible when certain groups get together to create a RP hub. Not an advocate for either just tossing that out there. I think if they got a center for holy magic it could create some interesting rp and even some interesting dynamics between certain groups. It might just be what you need.
