  2. Ulfar’s Invitation 175 S.A. “A small step for golems, a giant leap for dwarf kind.” Dear Celianor, I have recently discovered a golemancer within your walls during my expedition with Reinmar’s Prince. Seeing as the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and Celianor are long-time allies, I see it fitting for the two of us to come together so that we may collaborate for the benefit of both of our peoples. The collaboration will include, but not limited to, the following: I. The discussion of golemancy II. The discussion of golemancer society III.The discussion of possible golemancy projects for the future As such, I, Ulfar Starbreaker, High Lord Golemancer, summon your golemancers to the Grand Kingdom of Urguan where I shall host you in my home. Ulfar Starbreaker High Lord Golemancer, Kahl of Kaz’ad Nolvaraz, Yemekar’s Pick, CEO of Gotrek Industries

  4. Art made by bing A.I The Hospital of Anbella Greetings citizens of Urguan, it is once more myself- Ulfar Starbreaker. I am here to release the new update of the Hospital of Anbella, an upgrade of the previous Clinic of Anbella. As I bring the advanced technologies of the Kaz’ad Nolvaraz of the Gotrek Union to Urguan, it requires the clinic of Urguan to expand and upgrade. These advancements will be implemented into the Hospital while also hiring new hands to work at such a place. What is the Hospital of Anbella: The Hospital of Anbella is a government organization led by one of the government positions, Anbella’s Hand. Here, citizens and other folks are treated for illnesses and injuries using only the best methods possible. People who work in this hospital do so voluntarily, as there is no payment method for this organization yet. What is new: The Hospital will have a means of Healthcare and will also provide alchemical solutions to every problem. The Anbella’s Hand will provide medics with a degree if the person knows enough to qualify for it, such as: Doctor: The person knows Alchemy and Medical arts. Doctor’s aid: The person knows how to use herbs for basic medicines. Nurse: The person can help in manual labor, but doesn’t know much about herbs or medicine. Healthcare: Healthcare is how Urguan handles treatment to its citizens and foreigners. Healthcare requires payment as it consumes resources in order to make the things we use to heal and treat people. Payment will be discussed with the medic you are with as prices may vary due to the variety of injuries and illnesses. However, if you meet specific requirements, then you qualify for some free healthcare. Standard Healthcare: This involves normal non-alchemical medical treatments such as basic herbs to treat illnesses or wrapping of limbs, setting of bones, and so on. Advanced Healthcare: This involves alchemical methods of treatment, such as to treat Azhl poisoning, petrification, replacement of limbs and so on. How much free healthcare is based on the requirements you fulfill: Citizen of Urguan & a Dwarf: You qualify for free standard healthcare. Citizen of Urguan, Dwarf, & a Worker of the Workforce: You qualify for free Standard healthcare. You qualify for one free use of advanced healthcare. [This recharges every 3 years.] If you wish to join the Hospital of Anbella, send a letter to [Ulfar Starbreaker]. Format Name Age Clan
  5. Art made by bing A.I The Workforce of Yemekar Greetings workers of Urguan! It is yours truly, Ulfar Starbreaker. I am here to release the latest update to the Workforce of Yemekar. The Reformation: Effective immediately, all guilds within the Workforce are dissolved. The Workforce is now a singular hub where dwarves of Urguan can come together as workers to make use of their time and skills in the form of various labor. Simply put, all are referred to as Worker now, and individual professions do not hold any importance that requires categorization. In the event that the future Yemekar's pick wishes to change the structure of the Workforce that it is now, the workforce must all agree. Then the request will be considered by the King's Council where it will be accepted or denied. Purpose of the Workforce: Going forward, we must all come to an understanding of what the Workforce is in the case that it isn't clear anymore. The Workforce of Yemekar is a government organization of The Grand Kingdom of Urguan, led by one of the government positions, Yemekar’s pick. As such, all of its labor will be directed towards the growth of Urguan, allowing the dwarves to work and give their time in return for money as well as other benefits while also fueling the Kingdom with goods as it should have done long ago. Forms of labor and rewards: From here on out, the Workforce will have a missions board where a list of missions will be available at all times of each year. Missions can only be turned in once per year, but they can be done by all workers. Progress of a mission is personal to each Worker unless stated otherwise in the mission. These missions are categorized into 4 fields: Gathering: Within this category, you will have a list of Mining and Botany (Herb gathering) missions. Crafting: Within this category, you will have a mission list of crafting of any form, such as smithing, leather working, and so on. Alchemy: Within this category, you will have a mission list of Alchemy which involves potion brewing as well as other forms of alchemy such as engineering. Farming: Within this category, you will have a list of farming related missions such as horses, leather, feathers, and so on. Completing these missions will do a few things. First, the worker will be paid based on the missions they have completed. Gathering and Farming missions for example will have a deposit shop where the Worker can deposit their resources to gain an instant payment. Meanwhile other missions such as Alchemy or crafting will have their salary come in at the end of the year as their goods will be reviewed for quality standards. There will be attempts to create more automated payments systems for these two, but this will be released at a later date. Second, the worker will be rewarded with privilege points, a form of Workforce currency that the Yemekar’s pick and his assistants keep track of. The points can be used to buy special privileges within the workforce, such as scheduling a mine for private use for a period of time to avoid interruption from other workers. Privilege points can also be purchased with mina with a 1:1 ratio transaction, should one wish to do so. Third, at the end of every year, the Worker’s mission completion will be reviewed and will either stay at their current ranking within the Workforce, or ascend to the next ranking. Ranks will be explained further down. Ranks of the Workforce: There will be five ranks within the workforce, each coming with their form of Worker Privilege as well as labor requirements to reach or maintain the rank. Peon (1): This rank is the basic rank any worker starts with. Privilege: Has access to rank 1 Privilege point shop and can earn privilege points. Requirements: This requires the Worker to complete one mission per year. Cave delver (2): This is the next rank a worker can achieve, often for those who can put in more work. It is recommended all Workers are at least within this rank. Privilege: Has access to rank 2 Privilege point shop and can earn privilege points. They have the privileges of all the ranks before them. This worker can claim a C-Class house for free as long as they maintain this rank. Requirements: This requires the Worker to complete two missions per year. Urguani Worker (3): This is the third rank a worker can achieve, a true Urguan worker is deserving of this rank and should be proud. Privilege: Has access to rank 3 Privilege point shop and can earn privilege points. They have the privileges of all the ranks before them. This worker can claim a B-Class house for free as long as they maintain this rank. Requirements: This requires the Worker to complete three missions per year. Workaholic (4): This rank is mostly for the workers who want to surpass that of an Urguani worker and reach newer heights. Privilege: Has access to rank 4 Privilege point shop and can earn privilege points. They have the privileges of all the ranks before them. This worker can claim an A-Class house for free as long as they maintain this rank. Requirements: This requires the Worker to complete four missions per year. The Worker (5): The final rank within the workforce, only for those of true passion and work ethic as they uphold the ideals of Yemekar. This is THE rank within the workforce, and those within it are well respected. Privilege: Has access to rank 5 Privilege point shop and can earn privilege points. They have the privileges of all the ranks before them. This worker can claim One government property, such as a ranch, or shop, for free as long as they maintain this rank. Requirements: This requires the Worker to complete six missions per year. Unique: Only workers of this rank are qualified to attempt to become Yemekar’s Pick. Privilege Shop: The privilege shop is where workers can reward themselves by using their well earned privilege points to purchase Privilege within the Kingdom of Urguan. Each rank has its own set of privileges a worker can buy from. Some privileges can only be purchased once a year. The privileges offered in the shop will expand or shrink over the years as we try them out. Workers can make suggestions to add to the shop. Rank 1: Gift item signed by the Grand King (100 privilege points) Rank 2: Private 10 minute talking session with Dor’nal Hammerfist (300 privilege points) One gift item made and signed by Yemekar’s Pick. (300 privilege points) One Servus Golem (350 privilege points) Rank 3: One Year Streak Freeze (500 privilege points) [Once per Year] Private Reservation of One Mine for 4 hours. (500 privilege points) Two Servus Golems (600 privilege points) Private training session of any skill by the Yemekar’s Pick. (700 privilege points) [Once per Year] Rank 4: Private Reservation of Two Mines for 4 hours. (900 privilege points) Three Servus Golems (900 privilege points) One free use of the Urguan Clinic Healing Pod. (300 privilege points) [Once per Year] Rank 5: Private Reservation of Three Mines for 4 hours. (1400 privilege points) Four Servus Golems (1100 privilege points) Three Year Streak Freeze (1500 privilege points) [Once per Year] If you wish to join the Workforce, send a letter to the current Yemekar’s Pick [Ulfar Starbreaker]. 8. DEEP IN THE HALLS OF KAZ'AD NOLVARAZ, DWARVEN HOLD OF GOTREK... Dreadful was the moment Ulfar had to face the two mighty behemoths of his clan, but it finally came as he entered the warmth of the industrial halls of Urguan and yet his skin felt so cold. The hairs upon his skin rose straight and sturdy beneath his steel armor as the Mighty Beast bellowed, “You” towards him. The words the beast, The Lord of Gotrek’s Folk Jorvin Starbreaker, spoke were blurred in the red that tainted the memory as all that anchored the thought was Jorvin’s iron fist planting itself deep into Ulfar’s face. It is hard for Ulfar to think of much else besides the events that transpired in the halls of his clan, sitting there in the center of his northern factory. “Oi thought they could see the truth, instead they molded it intu hate..” Ulfar says. His hands come up to clasp the sides of his head as the memories strike at his dome. “Ingrate!” - “Betrayer!” roared from the chest of the Lord Starbreaker, thundering within the stone chambers enough to disturb the magma ducts beneath the ground. Ulfar could only stand against the waves, his feet planted into the ground as he prepared for what was to come. No word could be comprehended within the memory anymore except for the flurry of slurs and insults thrown at him, both titans talking and talking as their maws grew wider and wider whilst their eyes dimmed darker and darker. “You.. Y-You Deserter!” - “You abandoned your clan!” cried the serpent that coiled around the Lord’s throne. Its innocent emerald gaze stared at Ulfar while its tail lurked through the shadows of the hall, stalking the young Starbreaker. Ulfar set out long ago to claim the northern mountain he decided would be his home and the home of many others that journeyed with him. He had planned a future where his clan and people could live in peace in a place that encouraged them to craft and grow their minds instead of shedding their blood for false beliefs and blind faiths. A place to restart, but these two titans of the family couldn't see it. They saw it as a distraction from the true goal, a minor setback or waste of time. They lost their sight for the future long ago and now only see into the past. Relishing themselves in the memories of their pasts, their primes, as that is what is left for them to hold onto now, or so Ulfar believed. His ashen hand gripped the shaft of his Star metal axe, pulling it off the belt around his waist. A rage boiled within him, a bubbling pot of black ichor and beneath it a raging flame that roared against the iron. “Betrayer” - “Deserter”, the words echoed and thrashed around within his skull as the veins began to bulge across his face. STRIKE! Before he knew it, his axe already cleaved a piece of industrial equipment. Ulfar’s silver gaze looked down onto the broken pieces now beneath him the sight of the destruction only fueling him further, strike after strike as he swung his steel into metal and stone, breaking apart the interior of his factory in a fit of rage. Until.. CRACK Ulfar found himself standing in the chambers of the golem forge, his face frozen in shock as he looked down upon what he had done. His body tensed with horror with the Mother Anvil in front of him split in two. He rushed to her side as he set his hands upon her stone surface, tears welling up at the base of his stone eyes whilst his palms felt the beat of her magic slowly fade. Badum.. Badum.. Dum…. …. …. …. Once a deep connection to the Anvil and its magics, now silent and still, leaving the dwarf with a familiar cold he once felt upon the sundering of his soul. He laid there by her side, filled with great pain upon his heart and mind until finally, he snapped. A pale and empty gaze formed over his face as he stood up from the rubble of his own making. The Star metal axe held tightly in his grasp, the once pure steel now tarnished with the black dust of the anvil. “Fine..” he thought before clicking his fingers, “Prepare deh charges, Kin ov Stone.. Fill evreh crevice yeh fine in dis hold wiff them.” and so by his command they did so, setting explosive charges all throughout the hold, in every barrel, pillar, and crack. His mind flooded once more with the memories of Jorvin and Norli, their words like swords and dagger clashing upon his steel, none harming him but a single cut that drew blood. The removal of his authorities and the dismissal of his children’s trials. He remembered the feeling, for but a moment he wished to swing his axe into the Lord Starbreaker’s torso, though it faded as quickly as it formed. “Why am I like this?" he had thought, why did the thought of slaying Jorvin even dare appear into his mind’s eye? He did not now, and this still remains so. His voice then roared out into the halls “Moi Kin! Yu must evacuate the hold! Et is going teh collapse!” he warned them, giving them time to pack their belongings as the charges were set into place. “They called meh ah deserter, they fink oi left them, but all Oi did was try to give them ah better future. Clearleh they are not prepared, nor worthy to enter the new age.” He said as he made his way out of the hold, standing at the center of the giant elevator that rattled as it slowly ascended. At the top, he exited the gate which he was proud to have carved with the help of those that joined him, but it is over. It is time to put to rest a future that the present is not ready for. As the last of the Gotreki dwarves leave the hold and eventually the lands, Ulfar lights a torch and tosses it down into the line of oil that trails back down into the factory. He stood there as the flames grew bright and brighter, watching the land he had claimed from a distance in the snow until finally, the ground shook as the hold within erupted. The pressure contained within the construction was so great that it all funneled out from the grand pipe and the mouth of the gate as steel and stone burst open and shatter, a plume of smog and smoke forming a great cloud over the hold as rubble and dirt is flung through the air. “Oi will see you soon, Ulfar.” These were the last words Ulfar heard from Norli, he spoke it in such a way that it rolled off his tongue like the slither and hiss of a serpent. “Vereh well, Eldur Norli. Yuu will see me soon.” Ulfar spoke as he walked away from his lands to make his way back to the Father lands, The Grand Kingdom of Urguan. The hold, Kaz’ad Nolvaraz, itself is buried deep in rubble, left to remain sealed and unclaimable by his kin as none are worthy to embrace the lands of Innovation and Creation. “The Kin are not readeh... Until then, Gotrek rests.” Ulfar thought as he travels across the snowy cold lands, pulling against the weight of the wagon that carries all his belongings. OOC
  9. The Thane or Former Thane wakes. He looks to his clockwork machine of time to see he had missed his own meeting by sleeping through his alarms. "Fok.." he huffs as one of the golems finally splash cold water over his face, too late now though. Despite this, he packs his things and prepares to leave his hold to make the travels to the Father lands, Urguan where he may face the Lord he has challenged. During his travel, he lifts up the notice that was left on the breakfast table, only now going to read it. It is impossible to define the amount of dread that filled his body upon reading Jorvin's words, however he knew this was brought upon him by his own actions. Regardless he understands the anger of the Lord Starbreaker and continues his journey.
  10. The Thane sits at his desk within the northern lands of the industrial hold with a mechanical writing device in hand pressed against paper. The tool drags across the piece as he writes out a letter which has been copied many times over. Our family has carved the names of many great ones into the records of time, records now gone due to the destruction of Kal'Darakaan. Once a great line of ancient might, now nothing but shattered pieces spread out across the world. We have grown weak, fragile to world around us, forgotten even to some and belittled by others. Our crafts are nearly dried up from the world, and our history forgotten due to the lack of guidance and teachings. Our Elders have forgotten what it is to be a Starbreaker, to be a descendant of Gotrek the Starbreaker himself. They have scattered with the winds and left their family behind or have remained to simply watch the family dull its sharpness. It is enough to see our lineage cripple itself, but even worse to see the world around us forget our capabilities. Countless times has our Clan Kin been captured and attacked by the spawn of evil, creatures of chaos. Do we retaliate? No. Our members do not even exist within the dwarven lands except the few uneducated and unguided beardlings that are without a teacher to show them the way. When did we become so weak that the spawns of evil are courageous enough to harm us? I do not blame the Elders anymore, nor do I to those who have left us. Instead I will make it known that the Elders are no longer fit to perform their role. They have grown too old and their wisdom goes with them. Instead, I seek to replace the position of the Elders with new blood, let the rusted cogs rest while the new ones work. Finally, the Lord of Gotrek's folk- Jorvin in all his might is great and respected, but it has come to the point where even Heros get too old. I do not deny his wisdom or his care for this family, but it has dulled over the years to where he can no longer perform well enough. Perhaps it is time steps down- helping the clan with his teachings of history instead. All have served well in the past, but it is just that- The Past. With that being said, I, Ulfar of the Kornazkarumm, summon the entirety of the Elder Family of Gotrek. Those who can make the journey are to attend the gathering of the Starbreakers at the clan hall within the lands of Urguan. Furthermore, I summon the Lord Jorvin Kazrinsson and Elder Norli Norvarsson to address two things. First, as a blood of Gotrek, I contest Lord Jorvin for the position he holds- The Head of Gotrek's Folk, leader of not only the family but the entire bloodline. As stated before in this letter, he has aged significantly since he took the mantle of our family, but his prime is long gone. Sadly this is not the only reason for contesting the Lord Starbreaker. Our family has always been about neutrality, only caring for our own blood, but Jorvin despite his many acts of care, is loyal to the Grand Kingdom of Urguan above all else. His loyalty to it affects the family is such a way that it influences the young to break away from the importance of family, break away from neutrality. This cause has lead to Jorvin no longer doing what is best for the family, and instead what is best for the Kingdom he serves. I do not antagonize him for his loyalty, simply put- it is not in favor of Us. Second, Norli is to be stood before the clan to answer for the actions he has taken. Elder Norli, similar to Lord Jorvin, has broken the ideals of Neutrality within our clan, choosing to conduct schemes of grand proportions which favor himself and others, but not Us. The act of Khron'Hundmar being one of them, as the simple idea of causing chaos within Urguan led to endanger our own family, so much so that I myself was brutalized in the streets of Urguan for being a Starbreaker. This act stained our family with shame, enough to even cause dispute between Lord Jorvin and Elder Norli, two giants of our family now with blood between them. When did we start placing our own pride above our family's wellbeing? I have witnessed great horrors fall upon my family, but I have seen enough. I trusted my Elders and Lord to do what is right for this family, and such trust has been tarnished. Now to address myself- You may say that I have done the same, but this is where you are false. I left peacefully and kept friendly interactions with my Kin from in the Father lands. I have given my own family a second home to rest at if they are not enjoying their other options. I did not seek to cause chaos, but instead try and restore some form of Order that had been lost a long time ago. I have placed my own family above my own needs countless times, and will continue to do so even if it will end in the destruction of Kaz'ad Nolvaraz. The reformation of my family is upon us and I will not let anything or anyone stop me from revitalizing our future. This is family matter and has nothing to do with Urguan or my own Lands. The letter is finished off with a Starbreaker wax seal, an anvil with three stars above it. Many Servus golems are sent out across the world in search for those of the Family to hand them the letter.
