Classybells was considering writing Stork Lore at some point. I came from an era (10 years ago) when it was accepted culture in elf-land to ftb and then do /roll 20. It felt very forced, and as a young kid I thought 'dems the rules' and I'd get in trouble if I didn't. Stork Lore should be a thing, and there should be mention of this in the rules regarding FTB to encourage non ftb, and reassure new players they do not need to ftb.

Minors should be allowed to say a Stork came, rather than have to imply a sexual act took place, either ooc'ly or irp.

vanilla pvp is fun and its not so much about pvp its about how a dynamic system + combat = interesting situations. Just dont like participating in big CRP and I think its pretty true that when you clamp down on pvpers you clamp down on dynamic relations between groups too

You are under the misconception that role play only includes typing, when in fact most forms of role playing games have heavy mechanics based combat systems in place in order to deal with combat, think of things like literally every single MMORPG, Role playing games like TES and Fallout.

PvP IS RP, it is just represented in a different way. When PvP is over, that does not mean it never happened, it wasn't an OOC fight, the fight still happened in role play.

PvP fights have dictated the larger narrative of the server for many years, wars and warclaims are some of the biggest things that shake the server up, even more so then events that are put up by the staff team. Sure, the event team can maybe change the map, but it's the players who change the borders.

my favorite thing about minecraft rp is that I don't have to read 3000 lines of someone emoting walking into a room and saying hello to everyone, fun fact, it's not that great.

I've always hated the meta between players themselves, and holy peeps. Once upon a time I attacked three Ascended for the same people to show up all three times, which I believe was to ensure I couldn't get their blood, despite getting it. Sirame randomly encroaches, while in cities attacking one guard outside a city turns into a mass army. It's hard dealing with people themselves when this might not happens always, it does happen, making RP more bland when it's already a cycle of tedium nothingness. It becomes worst when you try to simply play, but this "dark" negative connotation lingers in the mind of people who think the dark is meant to be meant as an antagonist for people to defeat.  Then again LOTC just is a big meme after a while that can't have anything taken serious, unless you find that one person after a couple of weeks of searching on a huge ass map.

@Nug this seems like its a common thing, that if a new magic or idea shares even the hairline similarity to another, it's instantly shot down because of that.

You know how i do bard magic? By rolling the dice and watching how my character messes up actions he should be able to do as a travelling entertainer. Works every time.

It's 100% possible for rules to be changed to stop people from PvPing all mages and dark creatures 'n stuff to avoid being at a disadvantage WITHOUT allowing for 30+ man CRP to be a thing.

Why tf does a rule change designed to help mages 'n spooks require all the PvPers to fight in large CRP battles for their war raids?

If you aren't prepared to be facing a formidable dark creature in CRP in a medieval fantasy magic setting, in the same fashion that you should not participate in banditry or raiding if you aren't open to the possibility of CRP, you shouldn't be spending your time on the server

I think it's entirely reasonable for large wartime raiding parties to not expect a CRP fight, sorry. The logistics of these large CRP battles just won't work out.
