  1. An air of curiosity swept over the ashen Orc, Gijaak, as he stepped into the library of the Angathgûl. As he squinted in the dimly lit space, he looked to the tomes and scriptures of old littered across the floor. It seemed there was little space on the shelves for new additions, and so they had been strewn about in carelessness. As Gijaak stepped cautiously over the books, he made his way to the Smithing section, setting his steel cane up against the shelf as he reached upward. For a moment he paused, running his fingers along the books as he searched, humming in contemplation. As his eyes fixed on a book in particular, his eyebrows rose in surprise as he drew it from the shelf. He proceeded to carry it over to a nearby table, blowing the dust from the cover on the way there. As he wiped the remaining dust from the cover, he noticed a crimson blotch of blood stained on the leather surface. As he went to open the tome, it creaked and groaned with old age as it presented its knowledge. Dâr ob Griish (A Blood Priest in the Raguk Death Chambers) Many decades ago, when the Raguk had settled into Vailor, the Wargoth at the time, Kharak'Raguk, set in motion a series of events that would allow the Raguk to rediscover the Spirits. Those that decided to follow him along this path would come to create a mysterious cult beneath the scorching sands of the Uzg, where they would work with the Spirit of Blood and Bone, Gazigash, to achieve craftsmanship of unprecedented potential. Ideology (Gazigash, the Spirit of Blood and Bone) Those within Dâr ob Griish, or the House of Blood, are master smiths and craftsmen in line with the traditional aspirations of the Raguk, serving most often at the apex of their chosen professions. However, they differ in their approach to the forging process, by utilising the latent abilities of the Spirits to help enhance the quality of their creations. This is done predominantly with blood, the crimson stream that gives life to all things and runs deep with iron, sharing the stench of forgery when exposed to the air. The Dâr ob Griish believe that the iron in the blood of all living things is critical in empowering the creations of their forgery. By working in unison with Gazigash and Gentharuz, the Spirits of Blood and Smithing respectively, these Raguk will add vast quantities of fresh blood to their forging process in order to create what is widely known as Blood Steel. Blood Steel (Non-Raguk Orcs offering their weapons to an outraged Blood Smith to be enhanced with his ability) Revered widely by those of the Dâr ob Griish, Blood Steel is considered the ultimate metal, being made not only with the skill of the individual smith, but also infused with the iron of the blood that is enhanced and molded into the steel by the unending power of the Spirits. It can be used to create some of the strongest steel in Orcish culture, and is widely sought after by those few who are aware of its existence. Blood Steel is created specifically for the Raguk, with barely any outside of the clan subject to its potency. This in large is because these Raguk believe they were chosen by Gazigash to use her latent abilities, so that they may wreak devastation in combat and honour her with bloodshed. Typically Blood Steel is fashioned into blades, but can also be used to create armours of complex design and defensive potency. Each item is crafted to the best of the smiths ability, and is decorated according to their worship. They will often use bone for the hilt of the blades, or for decoration in points around the armour in order to represent Gazigash and her domain in its entirety. The Ritual of Blood (Lowly Goblins, subject to Gazigash' rejection) Before a Raguk can become a Blood Smith, he or she must first commune with Gazigash herself in order to receive her blessing to continue with their work. This is done through the efforts of the Shamans in the clan, who work almost exclusively with Gazigash in order to hone the craftsmanship of the clan. Any Orc that does not have red skin will be immediately turned away from such an honour, for it is not within the Raguk belief system for them to be suitable. This is because the Dâr ob Griish believe that their stark crimson colouration comes from a direct blessing from Gazigash. For many years she watched in intrigue, as the Raguk labored beneath the world, smeared endlessly in their own blood as they worked for the progression of the Uzg. The mines of the clan permeated with a stench of iron as their blood painted the walls, for there was no end to the work of a Raguk, and no release even in disablement. The Raguk have worked in blood since their conception, both by injury, and by staining their weapons with it in War. For this great sacrifice to progression, they were to be blessed by Gazigash herself, representing her entirely with their colouration. For this, their steel would be unmatched, and they would spill the blood of their enemies in waves. Appearance Aside from the typical appearance of the Raguk, the smiths of the Dâr ob Griish use tattoos and jewelry to represent the other aspect of Gazigash; that of bone. They will often mask themselves in white paints, representing the symbol of the Raguk clan, the open hand. Additionally, they will trace their bones with paint, so as to further represent the skeletal domain of their Spirit. Aside from this there is no stark contrast between a Raguk of the Dâr ob Griish, and one who has not been inducted into the group. The process by which one may join, and how to utilise Gazigash in the Smithing process remains a mystery, lost in time to only those within the clan. Attributes The steel. After being formed with great care taken into consideration, was a worthy sight to behold. Standing firm and strong, it would retain a durability twice that of normal steel, yet with the added durability came weight. Bloodsteel is comparable to black ferrum. Red lines: - one may only forge bloodsteel when they have gone through the ritual (a shaman of Tier2 is required to summon Gazigash, the spirit may be represented by ET,MT,LT and designated Shaman's that know how spirits work). - Once 'connected' and deemed a child of blood (dâr ob griish) the orc of red skin must collect a sizable amount of blood from either descendants or animals (obtained through roleplay). Creation of tools and weapons cost 'units'. One unit of blood being defined as a single descendant worth of drained blood or 2 small animals, 1 large animal. - Weapon&Armor costs: Any tool/weapon uses about 1 unit of blood to be created. A full set of armor should cost about 7-10 depending on the amount of plated steel that's required. - There will be a list of connected individuals. - If you were connected before this lore was accepted, you don't need to go through another ritual. That was part of the social aspect of bloodsmiths, now it is made into actual lore. - an MA is required for this Feat, and shall not take up a magic slot. The aforementioned connected individuals may grandfather their applications. - The steel is comparably heavier than normal steel. - Bloodsteel strength modifier: 2x as strong / durable as normal steel. It bares no magical properties other than it's red coloring and enhanced strength. - only orcs of red skin may be Dâr ob Griish. - bloodsteel cannot be enchanted
  2. WoW had guns, Warhammer had guns. We’re a fantasy server, live a little. Absolute +1

Too many banned players have been bypassing their bans, this is the only way.

  4. Kinda did try to blow up Krugmar with thanium when people didn’t like Pieman’s rule that one time
  5. Don’t see how Bloodsmithing is circle jerking since anyone could easily get it by making a raguk and going on ONE spirit walk. Btw please don’t tell me you’re gonna be negative about every thing orcs do since you got caught for being a lying snake.
  6. I really appreciate Rin posting this for me. This is something I've tried to do many times over, but now I've finally followed through and requested a permanent self ban. I've been around on lotc for many years now, 3? Around there. Thousands of hours, dozens and dozens of people who I enjoyed interacting with who've come and gone . I've enjoyed it, really, but for months now I've just found myself logging on and waiting to do something, something new, something engaging. It never came, and I think it's time I called it. Minecraft roleplay's lost my interest, and with recent changes in my life, I doubt that I have the time to commit to it again. Just a few mentions @Heathen @The_Broken_God @mitto @Heero @PraiseTheLord @grubgoth_wud @Zarsies @Elk @Ougi @Caranthir_ @Jentos @Skylez1 If I haven't mentioned you, which there's probably many of you. I'm sorry and I'll be sending out a few more discord pms at a later date. Good luck you all.
  7. WARPAINT, JEWELRY AND TATTOOS ⚙-⚙-⚙ Jewelry and warpaint, to a Raguk, are as defining of their identity as the shade of their skin and the illusive Naakh-za-Barash. Whilst some warpaint or jewelry is arbitrary and there to boast combative acclaim or the possessors skillful craftsmanship, others hold spiritual or occult qualities. WARPAINT “Red makes lat go fasta’, itz been proved by da tunzantarz mi swear it!” It is customary for the Raguks to slather red-paint on their Myrzyms or their Battlewagons prior to a skirmish or battle. Superstition states that, in a similar fashion to their Bloodsteel weaponry, if the paint is made with blood and blessed by Gazigash, she will grant them a boon of immense speed. “Da blue gitz iz a danger’us lot.” In the Raguk culture, blue-paint is reserved for only the most brutal Redskins. It is said that those who are privileged enough to wear blue-paint have the blood of Baderkuk in them, from the days when Braduk and Raguk were joined as one. How much of this is true is up for debate. “Yella’ is da lukky colour ov looterz agh freebootas. . .” Raguks with an affinity for gold and all things shiny - usually goblins - may paint themselves yellow before a major battle to heighten their chances of finding themselves something of interest on the corpses of enemies. “Da blakka’, da choppia.” It is not uncommon to see glyphs painted in black along the edge of weaponry or siege equipment; or to see a Myrzym’s tusks coated entirely with black paint. This is because it is believed that black-paint makes weaponry all “da more choppia”, or more effective in combat. “Chrome - colour ov da flatted.” Aged Raguks who anticipate their death in battle may slather their face with chrome paint beforehand to make it damned clear to Kor that a Raguk is approaching the gates of the Stargush, in death. Similarly, deceased uruks are painted chrome for the same reason. The method to craft this chrome paint, however, is knowledge known only by the Yellers. JEWELRY Jewelry, in a similar fashion to warpaint, has sentimental and spiritual value to a Raguk if not for vanity. For example, it is not uncommon to see an elf-ear necklace to boast the amount of elves a Raguk has killed, or a piece of bone or a tooth from giant game. Sometimes this jewelry contains gold, silver or platinum; sometimes bloodsteel and other exotic metals like mage-gold; or strange gems and stones to give it a qualitative lustre. In a somewhat grizzly deviation, it is also not entirely uncommon for Raguks to take fingers, toes, tusks and ears from fallen kin to turn into amulets and charms, believing that the felled ork’s strength will transfer unto them.
  8. THE RAGUK MOUNT | MYRZYM ⚙-⚙-⚙ CONTENTS: HISTORY USAGE APPEARANCE RITUALS HISTORY: “Lat nub gruk where our beasts hailed from? Come, sit, and mi will blah lat.” - Leydluk’Raguk the SKAHING Honourable, explaining the resurgence of their beasts. AS THE DRAG OF EXISTENCE FOR THE RAGUKIAN WARMACHINE GRUDGED FORTH, A WARMACHINE THAT WAS YET TO BE SATURATED WITH GOOD OIL, VARIOUS OTHER CLANS BEARING THEIR SYGILS OF KRUGMAR RECEIVED MOUNTS. TO THE BRADUKS, A GOLDEN RHINO WAS BESTOWED. TO THE UGLUKS, A BULL OF BEHEMOUTH PROPORTIONS. YET, THE PLAINS OF VAILOR BORE NO FRUIT FOR THE REDSKINNED SMITHS OF RAGUK. NONE KNOW EXACTLY OF WHICH CORNER THE MYRZYM WERE BIRTHED, FOR THE STORY IS ONE SHROUDED IN UNCERTAINTY AND MYTH. HOWEVER, IT IS RECORDED THAT A STRONG WARGOTH OF RAGUK VENTURED INTO THE UNBEARING WASTE WITH THE SUN UPON HIS BACK IN THE HUNT FOR A MOUNT OF THEIR OWN. AND TO THOSE OF RED SKIN, HE PROVIDED. REARING HIS HEAD ACROSS THE HORIZON WITH THOUSANDS OF CRIMSON SPECKS, ALL TRUMPETING THEIR CALL OF RETURN AND STOMPING THEIR FEET TO MARK THEIR HOME. RESEMBLING MUCH THE MAMMOTHS OF YONDER, THESE MYRZYM’S WERE SAID TO BE BROUGHT FORTH BY THE ALMIGHTY AND EVER MYSTERIOUS PANTHEON. THEIR RED SKIN AND MEAT CONJURED UP IN SACRED, SAVAGE RITUAL BY THE MOTHER OF RAGUK, GAZIGASH. THEIR TENACIOUS, FIRM FRAME BEAT INTO ONE OF MAGNIFICENCE BY THE LORD OF CHAINS, LEYD. THE VERY IRON OF THEIR BONES HEATED, TEMPERED AND FORGED WITHIN THE OVEN AND UPON THE ANVIL OF GAZIGASH. THIS WAS A CREATURE BUILT FOR CONFLICT, WAAAGH AND THE ETERNAL LABOUR OF THE WARMACHINE, OF WHICH HAD NOW BEEN SUBSEQUENTLY OILED. USAGE “Peep da size of diz zkah’a! Hurhur, da gorkil gitz nub gruk wub commin’.” - An unnamed Raguk shocktrooper discussing the previous clan war with Glottgut’Raguk USAGE IS ONE OF THE MOST CLOSELY PROTECTED ASPECTS OF THE MYRZYM, AS IT IS CRUCIAL TO THE CLAN’S SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY. FOR THIS REASON, AS MOST ROSTERS ARE DIVIDED, THE MYRZYM ARE SEPARATED WITHIN A DUO OF CATEGORIES, THAT OF WAAAGH-BEAST, AND THE LABOUR-BEAST. LABOUR-BEAST BLUNT AND CONCISE, THE NAME OF THE CATEGORY SPEAKS VOLUMES. THE SMALLER, WEAKER AND OBJECTIVELY WORSE BRED MYRZYM ARE SUBJECTED TO THIS ROLE TO PERFORM MINOR TASKS OF LABOUR. PROFESSIONALITY IS TO BE EXPECTED FROM THE HERDA AT ALL TIMES AS HE HANDLES THIS BEAST, FOR EVEN THOUGH THEIR RANK, THE MYRZYM OPERATING THIS ROLE SHOULD STILL MAINTAIN A LEVEL OF RESPECT. THE MOST FAMED LABOUR BEAST HAS BEEN GENTURZ, NAMED AFTER THE SPIRIT GENTHARUZ. WAAAGH-BEAST BLOOD, THE SEARING AND SCARRING OF FLESH, THE LOUD BOOMS OF RUNECANNONS AND THE STENCH OF URINE AND INTESTINES. THESE ARE ALL SENSES THAT THE WAAAGH-BEAST ARE TRAINED TO HANDLE. IT IS EXPECTED FOR THE BEAST TO ACT AT 100% FUNCTIONALITY AT ALL TIMES WITHIN A BATTLE, TO NOT REAR IT’S HEAD OR RETREAT. OTHERWISE, THE BEAST IS TO BE PUT DOWN. HOWEVER, THESE ARE STILL BEASTS OF LEYD. ANY ORK FOUND INJURING OR MUTTERING INSULTS OF THESE BEASTS WILL HAVE THEIR TONGUES OR HANDS REMOVED RESPECTIVELY. THE MOST FAMED WAAAGH-BEAST HAS BEEN TWIGGIKRUNCHA, THE STEED OF THE EQUALLY FAMED GRUBGOTH WUD’FUD’RAGUK. RITUALS “Leyd-flok myrzym lat, flokolgûl glogol!” - Krukleyd’Raguk granting permission onto a new wave of vanguard grunts to receive their beasts. YET, THIS TOOL WOULD NOT BE GRANTED UPON ALL WHO CHANTED KRUG AND YIELDED TUSKS BENEATH THEIR MAWS. THIS WAS A CREATURE MOLDED TO FIT MERELY A SINGULAR NICHE, THAT OF THE RAGUKS. AND FIT IT DID PERFECTLY. LABOUR-BEASTS FOR A MYRZYM TO BE SUBJECTED TO THE TITLE OF A LABOUR BEAST, IS NO DISHONORABLE FEAT, EVEN IF THE RANK IS BESTOWED ONTO THE PHYSICALLY WEAKER OF THE LITTER. TO THE MACHINE OF KRUGMAR, THE GRIND IS BUT ONE OF THE FEW COGS NEEDED TO STEAMROLL INTO GLORIOUS WAAAGH. IT CAN BE SAID, HOWEVER, THAT THESE MYRZYM GARNER LESS RESPECT FROM THE VANGUARD AS THEY DO NOT RISK THEIR LIVES, AND DO NOT SHED BLOOD IN THE NAME OF LEYD. THESE MYRZYM WOULD BE BEHESTED TO BEAR MINERALS OR MATERIALS. THESE MYRZYM DO NOT GARNER NAMES, SIMPLY NUMBERS TO CALL THEM BY. WAAAGH-BEASTS THE CRIMSON-BRED AND DECISIVE SOLDIERS PROPOSED A MANNER OF IMPROVING THEIR INDUSTRIOUS EFFICIENCY WHILST PROVIDING THE SPIRITS WITH TRIBALISTIC PRAISE. UPON EACH RAGUK BORN OR INTEGRATED WITHIN THE CLAN, THEY WOULD BE DOUSED IN ELFKIN BLOOD AND GIVEN A BEAST OF THEIR OWN. ONE WHICH WOULD MIMIC THEIR TUSKS AND WARRIOR FEROCITY. FROM HERE, THE RAGUK WOULD INDOCTRINATE HIS MYRZYM AND FORCE IT TO BE YIELD AND BECOME ONE. THE DUO WOULD GROW THEIR CHARACTER TOGETHER, CHARGE INTO THE FRENZY OF WAAAGH TOGETHER AND END LIFE ALONGSIDE EACHOTHER. AND WHEN GIVEN THE CHANCE OR WHEN THOUGHT SUITABLE, THE RAGUK WOULD NAME HIS BEAST, FOREVER CEMENTING THEIR LEGACY INTO THE BOOKS OF HISTORY. AND IN THE DEPRESSING EVENT THAT A WAAGH-BEAST’S LIFE COMES TO A CEASE, IT IS ASSURED THAT NOTHING OF THEIR EXISTENCE WOULD SURRENDER TO WASTE. THIS IS NOT A METAPHORICAL OR SYMBOLIC STATEMENT, AS THE RAGUK WARRIORS WOULD SAP THEIR BLOOD TO FORGE THE BEST OF BLOODSTEEL WEAPONS, BUTCHER THEIR MEAT TO PROVIDE CUISINE FOR KRUGMAR. EVEN THE BONES OF THE MYRZYM WOULD BE USEFUL TO SOME EXTENT. APPEARANCE “Do ya fhink da glint of gold or the texture of da tattoos will entrance our enemiz or bring fear onto them?” “Perhupz boffh” - Imp’Raguk and a nonsequencial ork discussing the Myrzym. EVEN THOUGH AESTHETICS IS NOT OF THE MACHINE’S IMPORTANCE, IT IS A LUXURY THAT THE RAGUKS CAN AFFORD, ESPECIALLY WHEN TAKING IN MIND THEIR OFTEN REGAL APPEARANCE. THIS INCLINATION TOWARDS BOISTERIORITY DOES NOT GRIND TO A HALT WHEN TALKING ABOUT THE ORKS, HOWEVER. OFTEN, THE NAME OF THE MYRZYM ARE ON MANY A PERSON’S LIPS WHEN SPEAKING OF LUXURIOUS APPEARANCE. YET, LIKELY THE MOST CONVERSED ABOUT MYRZYM IN PROSPECTS OF THEIR COSMETICAL VALUE HAS BEEN GAZGAZH, OF WHICH IT IS SAID GAZIGAZH HERSELF BESTOWED UPON THE BEAST WITH BLOODSTEEL ARMOR. MANY A RAGUK ENJOYS ADORNING THEIR WAAAGH-BEAST WITH TRADITIONAL OR OFTEN INDUSTRIOUS COSMETICS. SOME WOULD PREFER DESIGNING AND SMITHING A FINESSE GOLDEN HARNESS, WHILST OTHERS PREFER THE CRUDE, DESATURATED ARMOR IN ORDER TO PROTECT THEIR BEAST. HOWEVER, TATTOOS ARE ALSO A COMMON SIGHT. THE CREATIVITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL IS ESSENTIAL TO PRODUCE QUINTESSENTIAL BEASTS. "Ang Gund Griish."
  9. SKULLCRUSHA'RAGUK RETURNS ALSO, RESTORING HIS HONOR WITH THE AID OF HIS FATHER. HE THINKS OVER THE VARIOUS ORKS OF WHICH PASSED INTO THE SANDS OF TIME, THEIR NAMES DECAYING AND THEIR FACES FORGOTTEN. NOT HE. HE, WOULD BE REMEMBERED.
  10. MORKAR'RAGUK PONDERS HIS NAMESAKE, LOOKING TOWARDS THE DECAPITATED SKULLS DORMANT UNDER HIS FEET. "MMM, MI AM SKULLCHOPPA NOW!"
  11. SKULLCRUSHA'RAGUK LOOKS OVER THE DOCUMENT, PLEASED TO SEE LEYD'S POWER IS INCREASED.
  12. "ZO, WI BAKK, BOYZ!" MORKAR'RAGUK SAYS AS HIS BROTHERS COME TO HIS RESCUE.
