  1. “My godson, John Maximilian, was merely eleven years old when he was slain — how dare this buffoon make a mockery of a child’s gruesome death in a paltry attempt to justify his treachery.” commented a deceased Haeseni queen-consort, Eleanor of Lotharingia, from the Seven Skies.
  2. “He’s the best High Pontiff of the century. Also he has the cutest eyes.” commented Bogdana after reading this missive, shortly after, both she and all of her friends swooned.
  3. You did not practice this at all times, as evidenced by a situation in which you doled out a punishment without consulting both players involved, levied a baseless accusation upon me, and then outright refused to speak to me about it and promptly sent me elsewhere. Thankfully the situation was amended and the punishment was reversed due to another staff member acting as a mediator. I think that a learning lesson here for you, and all staff members (be them former or current), is to learn how to be an impartial judge of all situations, to remember that both parties are worthy of being spoken to. In any case, enjoy your retirement.
  4. I agree with this 100%, I’ve been playing since the early 5th Empire and I’ve never witnessed a whole player base quitting and never returning after they had been conquered. If anything, the eras of balkanization following the fall of empires were the time in which the server, or at the very least Human roleplay, was at it’s most active. LoTC was never supposed to be like a certain server that shall not be named. We were never supposed to live in tea party-riddled cities where the fear of total conquest was nonexistent and “slice of life” roleplay reigned supreme, the whole purpose of this server is in it’s name “Lord of the Craft” — we were once a place where anyone, and I mean anyone, could become the Lord of the Craft if they had a sizable rally behind them, as briefly mentioned by MadOne. Sadly this place has become a shell of it’s former self.
  5. Bogdana enjoyed reading this, and wanted a sequel
  6. Bogdana wondered why Beathas had a crippling drug addiction she could not shake. The peasant then remembered a time when Beathas sent strange portraits of herself to her.
  7. Bogdana the Random Peasant had second hand embarrassment for Beathas.
  8. Zamnnnnnnn zaddy you’re articulate, good job
  9. “Touché.” Bogdana the Peasant said as she read the document, proud of the bride that she had argued with a few months ago.
  10. From within her residence in the Seven Skies, Reza Elizaveta of Turov donned an elated smile as she perused the missive. “I, too, was once a black sheep — the pain one must endure when they are misunderstood and abandoned by their own flesh and blood is inexplicable,” the ancient Queen-consort began, “It is something only a fellow black sheep can comprehend. I do hope Annika finds some solace by using my name, or at the very least, she feels a sense of solidarity.” the Haeseni finished benevolently.
  11. “That is you indeed.” Eleanor of Lotharingia said softly with a smile as she beamed with pride at her beloved husband, St. Otto (Ottoes) II.
  12. “It is my sincerest hope that useless John remarries now, so the world can plainly see he is an infertile sword swallower. So the world can know that my dear, God-fearing Wilhelmina was not the barren one.” Renée Antoinette cooed, a gargantuan smile splayed across her face.
  13. Word of the Prince’s grisly death came late to a former Alimar, and His Highness’ only living sibling, Amalie Lovisa de Sarkozy. “I have made a great folly — I should’ve known my baby brother better... Well...” the imperialized Haeseni stammered, her speech riddled with regret, “Known him at all, actually. Perhaps we could’ve kept him safe!” she wailed before burying her tearful face into her husband’s shoulder.
  14. “F*** the police.” said Renée with a shrug.
  15. Worlds away in the continent of Aeldin, Renée Antoinette read this missive with an ecstatic expression plastered on her visage, ”Let us hope that this is the insurgence that will bring that paltry excuse for an empire to an end,” Madame Rothesay paused, “Though, I suppose it is not entirely correct to refer to it as an empire anymore, seeing as it managed to lose it’s only vassal kingdom.” she then released a brief laugh. ”Ave Sedan.” the aged courtesan sang prior to ashing her blunt in a bowl that had Anne I’s gaunt face painted on it.
  16. The Countess-consort of Pompourelia, Amalie Alimar, was excited to see her brother’s new crib.
  17. From her austere domain in the Seven Skies, Reza Elizaveta performed a firm nod after perusing the document with an exceedingly critical eye. Shortly after, the Kovachev decidedly placed it on a golden stand of hers — endorsing this literary work forevermore. Simultaneously, Eleanor of Lotharingia fiddled with her golden tresses while complaining incessantly about how there was no Auvergnian copy of the writing in question. Her Southern grumbling was largely ignored by her fellow deceased queens.
  18. Wow Nathan is hilarious ?
  19. bye eddy she was a dead npc and at the time yoppl was playing an imperial court eunuch but no bull sh*t besides that personal jab I am actually glad y’all are doing better and I’m glad y’all are being progressive and more receptive! It is always good to make the consort feel included and less like a pointless trinket, good luck to her and all of you
  20. I’m just gonna be honest Haense has never been perfect. I played the first Queen of Haense and there has ALWAYS been a disconnect between the person playing the queen (especially if they’re a genderbender) and the rest of the leadership. WHILE I DO LOVE HAENSE, there also was always an underlying issue of disrespect for the person playing the queen since you guys seem to not want to give them any real responsibilities. What y’all need to do, and the rest of LOTC needs to do, is to stop allowing people to play your consort whether you’re an emperor, king, duke, whatever, if you’re going to bar them from knowledge, put them in a box that contains little more than ‘throw a ball XD Lol’, and then insult them because you think they are not competent enough to play an active role in the politics of the kingdom and their corresponding command chats like Seannie just did in this thread.
