  1. Out-Of-Character Information

Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication!

What’s your Minecraft account name?: Ladybug120701

    How old are you?: 14

Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: “All roleplay on LoTC must abide by server lore. Lore can be found on the Wiki or Forum lore section. You cannot play as a race that is not lore-approved, and you require LM/MAT approval for races not a part of the Dwarves, Elves, Humans, Kha, or Orcs. If you wish to add lore to LoTC, it must be submitted and approved before it can be played.” It always manages to bug me when roleplayers fall out of the theme/Lore of the roleplay and start to make up or randomly create their own way of doing it. I usually tend to get frustrated - especially when they don’t bother to care for other roleplayer’s opinion on the matter - and I  don’t bother with Roleplaying when this happens.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): Nope!

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Awhile back, I found it over the internet when searching for Medieval-related Roleplay servers, but now it was brought up recently by a friend who now plays here (Shipette).

Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable): N/A

    Definitions

Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! Plagiarizing will result in the automatic denial  of your application!

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is to take a role of a character and their actions and play a part within a well-developed plot and/or theme.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when a player out-of-character takes information from a roleplay, and uses that information in-character without actually having their character finding it out on their own.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is forcing an action upon another player or players.

    In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) Victoria Gracelynn Lovedee

Character’s sex: (male or female?) Female

Character’s race: (you can find all the playable races here.) Human

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 23

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)

Victoria Lovedee grew up being the youngest in a Burgher family of four in Felsin; just her parents and her older brother, her brother only two years older than her. Her family worked and lived around their household, her mother skilled with baking and cooking to feed not only her family, but others who came by and paid for her service; and her father and brother working in the fields to provide the ingredients for the food, but her father had problems of his own dealing with drinking, though it never discouraged Victoria’s  mother to see him as someone less.

But as Victoria reached the age of fifteen, her father’s drinking problem only got worse as some of the money earned from his wife was stolen from a group of raiders, and that was when he started to actually use physical abuse as a way of coping with his anger. He lashed out on Victoria once for accidentally spilling and staining a white carpet with tea and shoved her, which caused her to hit her head roughly against the furnace her mother used to bake. The blow to the back of her head caused her to lose her sight, but also caused her father to see how much pain he caused in the household, and soon after started to fix his ways and stop drinking.

Her father worked overtime in the fields even after it was time him and Victoria’s brother to stop, and even made a make-shift cane for Victoria, and taught her how to adapt to her blindness, before he passed away four years later  in late December from illness. Her brother took over in the fields, and Victoria still continued helping her mother as best as she could. Her brother then moved to Lin’sulan to promote his own career a few years after his and Victoria’s mother passed away, too, and Victoria stayed behind to keep the household running with the help of friends and the money her mother kept over the years - which was originally going to be used to convince a Druid to try and heal Victoria's blindness, but the idea was put to rest after her mother's passing.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Victoria’s likes seem to branch off from each other. As she had time to listen to stories, they encouraged her to want to explore around the world from one place to another - her loss of vision did not discourage her to want what most people didn’t think she could get.  That want also enabled her out-going personality, and she never thought of anyone as below or more than herself: always equal.

Victoria’s dislikes were people who thought of her as different because of her blindness, or people thinking she couldn’t do some of the things that they could. She always tried her best in anyway possible to prove them wrong, but she never desired to take lengths of hurting someone physically or mentally.

Victoria has a habit of always keeping her mother’s cookbook/journal around with her, and would skim her fingers over the pages when feeling down.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Not only to be a well-known baker, but despite blindness being apart of who she is, she wants to see again; really see the world, her friends and family, a future-lover, and someday - her kids. (I put underline because I couldn't change the color over phone, haha!)

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Baking - occasionally cooking, depending on the meal - and running. She had a bit of “practice” when being chased by her older brother with games they used to play as children; she was very swift with her movements, and still is despite her blindness. The effect of losing her vision also caused her senses of touch, smell, and hearing to enhance to help get around better.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Victoria lost her sight at the age of fifteen (the incident is explained in her bio), and had never learned to fight - but her cane has been proved useful in certain situations.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Victoria has pale skin,  a heart shaped face with dark green eyes and freckles across her nose - which she happens to dislike about her appearance as her mother always pointed out: “If you lie, your freckles will get bigger.” - with dark red hair pulled back into a “Braided Headband Updo Hairstyle” (that’s the best description I could find of her hairstyle; I found it on Pinterest)  with a slim but short (she’s only 5’3) figure. She wears a hot-pink?- dress with green sleeves and a faded golden braided belt around her waist.

Skin: (please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin; if you need help, see our screenshot guide here.)
