  3. Apollonia of Akritos unfolded her invitation and beckoned her granddaughter Nina over. “Would you like to meet an aengul with Yiayia?” @latte
  4. Red’s eyes flickered open. She sat upright, startled. “Even still, I’ll never escape these impressions of my past.”
  5. Yr-Solheim had nearly escaped what she thought was a sticky situation, having evaded questions about whether or not she was a paladin. “My son is the paladin I ask about.” That much wasn’t a lie, more so a half-truth. What had initially been a desire to live within the horde lands transformed into a complete and utter opposition to it in a split second. Minto had assured her that paladins could visit, so long as they did not live there. That was not enough for Yr-Solheim. She wanted to live amongst her people, the Kwee, as much as she wanted to live amongst her other kin in Hefrumm. Her loyalty was to both, inalienable.
  6. Maya de Valera hopes the king of Haense doesn't eat this newborn.
  7. Maya de Valera gasps in shock! "What does it mean when our leaders are so corrupt as to eat babies?!"
  8. "These people are daft, it is nae the fault of the cursed children. They are innocents whose parents have done them wrong. A sin should ne'er pass from a parent tae a bairn, but of course, I wouldnae expect a Canonist holy order tae have any idea of what's actually right," ranted Yr-Solheim from the paladin keep. "You go, Queen Amaya."
  9. Yr-Solheim of the Kwee'Hayastaani, also a paladin, approves of this immensely. "This woman is a victim. Someone who willingly comes forth to be cured should never be shamed!"
  10. The Oracle of Balian straps up her wellies and searches for something sufficiently waterproof to wear.
  11. Yr-Solheim's heart ached for the Grand Princess, a woman she had never met and knew nothing about. But news of this traveled far to the mesas of the Kwee'Hayastaani, and she sought to send a letter of invitation should the woman ever wish for a momentary escape.
  12. Maya de Valera reads the notice, not really paying attention to anything except the name at the end. "Isn't Marie a woman's name?"
  13. Nutmeg could not read, but she recognized some of the snazzy symbols and clapped her fuzzy little hands.
  14. My mystic had some incredible RP with the lectors (@Islamadon @femurlordyou guys were ***** amazing) where they interviewed her at length her ties to some less than savory organizations, and because she was telling the truth and they could corroborate it without her conspiring with the other people to make the story line up, she was allowed to repent and thus is no longer a target. I mean, she still is a mystic, but she has not been caught and does not also look the part of one. I don’t think they discovered whether or not she was a mystic at the time, but it’s irrelevant to the point I’m making. Being uncovered and caught, when done in good faith and with interesting RP, can be fun for both sides. I had a blast RPing with the lectors and going through the journey of repentance as a medic. They still do not hunt my character down because she has not shown any further evidence of being a darkspawn, even if they OOCly know she is one. They could have just killed her, but what actual fun would that be? The route the lectors took was far more interesting for both parties. thank u guys u are the best. also, she has kept the same name and the same appearance the whole time, and it’s been no issue.
  15. This is true, part of not being suspected as a dark mage or no longer being suspected as a dark mage is… not dressing the part. Acting relatively normal. It works.
  16. yeah, I for one would never voluntarily allow my hand to be sliced open. why should a character, assuming they feel the same things?
  17. Yr-Solheim read the missive from a cozy igloo in the far north, an eager grin spreading across her lips. “I will come soon,” she responded, her writing messy yet still legible.
  18. If Amadea could read minds, she would say "Exactly! How can he complain after he scored a princess!"
  19. Amadea von Augusten, the alleged "vampire" in question, tossed the missive into the fire while lounging on a comfortable cabin. "Whenever women decide to choose someone else, the men lose their minds. their egos must be so hurt! Such a pathetic sense of entitlement."
  20. Solheim Aavik-Kujalleq sends a missive from Hefrumm to Princess Eriantiel to become a lady of Aran-în-Eryn.
  21. An Akritian oracle felt a disturbance in the atmosphere.
