For all the folks that aren’t in the LOTC-Discord (incl. New-Player-Discord):
Hello everyone!! As you may have noticed (or not) we have deleted/locked a majority of the Wiki-Accounts. The reason for such is because of the new updates that have been taking place over the last few weeks. Before we go into detail about the whole thing, I'll be showing you some statistics.

Due to that fact that only 7% of all Accounts are Actively used we decided to take a big step and lock all of the inactive accounts. This is also a good time for us to introduce our new set of Rules and the new Guidelines in regards to Wiki-Pages! At the same time we also want to explain our new Application-System, which will allow you to request a Wiki-Account by filling in a google form. This would allow the Wiki-Members to collect and record information about who receives an account, while also getting to them more efficiently. In the future we will continue to do activity checks, removing accounts on a monthly base, depending on if they did at least 10 edits in the course of 30 days.

A problem with the old Navtables was how outdated (Many since 2018) they were, including information which weren’t valid since months and didn’t hold the new format. At the moment we are implementing a lot of changes, including a ticket-system for the Wiki, which will allow Nations to request new Navtables. Nation-Leaders are also receiving a PM from us, asking them to give us the new information that we need for the Navtables.

So, I like the idea you are going for, yet, I think that this magic is still... Not really balanced. You should try to add more spells for other tiers, try to include other enchantments, etc. I am also against any abilities that try to forcefully severe magical connections permanently, as there are magical forms which contain unattunements for their own types. Those are most often deific forms or forms that require another being as energy source. Giving a T4 group of three the ability to simply do such themselves is something I don't really see happening, especially as the forms, such as druidism, etc. require you to be T5 yourself to learn unattunement. As such I would change it to a temporary severing, for a specified time duration, instead of a possible permanent severing. Yes, you stated that one could get it back by destroying the item, yet, I already see people building highly protected temples and places, basically causing people to be unable to obtain their magic back. As such, I would go for a temporary severing (For example, 3 ooc days, etc.) instead of a permanent one. In total: Try to balance this magic more, try to edit in more abilities for the other tiers and perhaps change the severing ability.

Please read out the intro text for such. The font itself is an existing one (My go to is the Ringbearer one, but I can use any font wanted by a customer), which receives a 3d-Effect overlay from me in Photoshop, which creates those renders. The website you are using has a similar feature, yet, doesn't have options for shadow depths, colors for highlights, texture application and much more. As such, yes, the font isn't mine (as stated in the intro), yet, the effect applied to it is. ❤️

Agreed.... The formatting is a bit.... Questionable. The lore itself is fine in my eyes, but it's really hard to read this with the used formatting, both on desktop and on the phone.

As mentioned by Zach we are frequently working on additional lore in regards to Galderes, including cultural aspects, the religions as it's own lore, updates on Dresdrasil as Aengueldaemon and much more. By doing such we are exactly aiming for what you are looking for: Advancing LoTC’s Story. We hope that Galderes will become part of a foundation that focuses more on Oceanic topics, may it be new Creatures, Religions, Historical Aspects and also allow for new Event-Ideas, such as the possibilities to add Events to explore forgotten and maybe sunken kingdoms and much more. Also, as a remarking note: This magic is not to be hoarded, as we even added a tenent against such. We all agreed that we didn't want history to repeat itself and instead allow those interested in more Oceanic features to learn this magic and use it. Sure, it applies to a certain mindset or minority, yet, so do many other forms of magic. May it be Shades, Ascended or Druids. Not everyone likes the same and Lotc is offering different forms of magic and different roleplay options due to exactly that fact. However, thank you a lot for your feedback. It is always good to receive feedback from someone that has concerns, as it allows us to present out our pre-planned lore route and even get new ideas to add to it! As such, thank you. -

I love how the formatting turned out! Instead of a wall of text you got some nice, readable areas and spoilers! The spreadsheet is also a nice touch-up, as it makes it a lot easier to scan over the abilities! AND IT FINALLY GOT PROPER REDLINES! ❤️ -

Hello everyone! Some of you may have noticed that the Staff-Teams recived some small renders of their names and additional titles from me. Such was done to thank the Staff-Teams and to give them something back, even if it was only a small render itself. However, I got a lot of positive feedback on the renders and even got some requests from the playerbase to make them specific renders. As such I decided to open this small shop together with @chaosgamer. Chaos will mostly act as Secretary, as such accept comissions, check them and also create a small schedule which I can follow. Afterwards I will do the actual rendering process by using a specified font and a unique effect (The one also used for the LOTC-Logo, recreated by me.) to create your render! Prizing While I love to create as many graphical renders as possible I am also asking everyone to understand that it takes some time to work upon those renders, as the program I use needs to run the effect over the font, analyze it and then add the specific effect on top of it to create the 3D-Effect. As such I am asking for a small amount of Mina or USD, which can be paid towards me ingame. I like the lore, but I think you should include the reaction between Fi and more specific forms of magic, for example druidic connections. How would Fi magic react on such, as druids are permanently connected? Would it stop their connection to work? How about the new Frostwitch Lore if it gets accepted, how would Fi react on such? Would be interesting to see much clearer specifics added in. -
Got some nice group art! The left character is Niv ( @Aethling), the middle character is Vahyru (My Character) and the right character is Elenora ( @HazelWazel). They are fitting their roles fairly well and are each classified underneath one of the tarot cards, as to represent their personalities a bit.
