what's vague abt it?  u can read more about the cursed children on the cursed child lore page but the rite otherwise says exactly what to do and what happens to the person it's being performed on. adding every single redline pertaining to cursed children under the rite is unnecessary bc those redlines aren't for the FA, they're for the rite itself

I think /realms activity has 100% helped centralize RP even with the abundance of settlements/nations. as much as I dislike RP decentralization I support people being able to get their own communities going without having to conform to the nation monopolization of RP because it's really the only option in the absence of freebuild. I think the simplest compromise is to make it easier to locate/access RP instead of limit other peoples' chances at creating new communities (such as lower SS cooldown times, faster horses, improving road navigation, what else?)

I think the onus of making RP easier to find is as much of a player responsibility as it is staff responsibility, if not more. this could include open gate policies, discouraging bubblewrap mentality, improved city layouts (such as normalizing houses being as small as livably possible as to discourage house RP and encourage street RP), etc. bc at the end of the day it doesnt matter how many tools staff give players to find RP. if you go to a city that's bustling or booming and their gates are closed with nobody to let you in (as often happens), it's pointless

I dont like that people are just watering down cursed children by calling them "basically tieflings," the point of being a CC is that it's a curse, it's not meant to be desired (RPly) or sought after or perceived as a boon. they're supposed to look ugly and inhuman. it's why I like that places are finally calling them for what they are and banishing/killing them instead of just going "oh well it wasnt their fault/oh well their SOUL isnt tainted." they are literally born from infernal meddling and demonic touch

I love vampires as a niche just that they have a history of attracting really volatile/unstable playergroups. anything new would probably need to start really tame and then work its way up. I said it once already but its why I support corcitura kinda taking the mantle of the vampire niche on the server with gradual buffs/improvements while avoiding mechanics that allow for people to have ULTIMATE CONTROL over who does and doesn't become a vampire (gatekeeping/strongarming)

vampires can be rewritten people just need to not enable the systems or weird things the old lore did

well they gave satinkira a 2 month ban and forum mute for posting 1 appeal. put this into perspective that it was for a "major conduct violation" which is what rukio got banned for and didn't get a forum mute, and also the person who organized the NSFW discord only got a 1 month ban (might have been 2 idr)

look I don't think this would be any less of an issue for people if it was literally just adults getting off to spicy character art responsibly but they actively rejected the prospect of asking for some form of age verification, drew NSFW of peoples' characters w/o their consent, and involved them in other server activities unknowingly. I know you mean well but the owners of that server were being egregiously and objectively irresponsible in how they moderated it and this isn't the hill to die on

and also I think there's something inherently dangerous at worst, questionable at best, about making an LOTC-related discord dedicated to the consumption and production of NSFW art considering how sensitive the topic of minors is on the server
