  1. I put 4 as the max for now because of resource allocation issues! If it pans out very well, especially in tandem with coming features by way of our techs, then we can push the envelope for more. But when it says 4, it means 4 hubs. The hubs link into build sites for a multitude of Instances. So 10 instances could theoretically exist in one hub, meaning 40 dungeon instances/unique experiences if we have 4 hubs I hope that makes sense
  2. One idea here is to implement a OOC timer on some of the Instances. Another is to close off paths that belong to certain ST so noone gets their hope up. One thing I definately had planned on Irrinor-Concept was a ooc timer per player/party, so you couldnt just spam the Dungeon, and for mid-high tier, a week long heads up requirement for entering so it wasn’t a diarrhea-run style mad dash to do an event.
  3. Hey hello hi howdy it is me, Keefy. Some of you know me, some of you don’t, maybe some like me, maybe some hate me. That **** ain’t why we’re here. Earlier this year I talked with the elven communities about reusing the Irrinor city as a Hub for a idea I had, tentatively known as Greenfly or Fae Dungeon, which never got far off it’s feet. Cause ya know demons and ****. So we’re on the borderline for map transition and the project will be finished and launched in the next map, but it got me thinking of more concepts. Let me list out the ideas and how the Concept was being planned. There would be four different stages of Dungeon, with each one being specialized so any ET could step in and run one, provided they acquire a proper build. There’s stages are basically difficulty levels -Scenic (Not any tension or concerns, mostly for flavor, maybe historical context, character building. Y’know. Field trip.tm) -Low-Risk (Tension, fights, but nothing to be overly concerned) -Mid-Risk (Let’s put this as what you experience from a regular event in terms of tension and risks, hardness of solutions) -High-Risk (Possible PK clause events, you’re dancing on fire, it’s a good/bad time) The entire reason I wanted to make such a Dungeon is for, barring high risk, there to be a easy source of events that aren’t reliant on something as commonly encountered as “If we don’t participate the world might end” cause on this server, the world ends alot. Alot of people are just numb to it. No these are meant to be “I want to go on an adventure” without needing to dip yourself in a deep story line all the time, or part of a particular playerbase. Nah just, it’s there, you interact with it, and that’s the end of the emotional investment. This works for the ET side of things as well, giving us opportunities to run events that permit creativity without worrying about World Lore outcome, barring again, High Risk, which could have that possibility. Now I’m having a **** time irl right now so I’ve been thinking way too much. To those who know me, they know this is a problem. But we’re about to start off a new map so I’m doing a C2A here. If I should write up more concepts for 3 more hubs to diversify themes applicable to this Dungeon format beyond Fae, which I picked originally cause it was what I was most familiar with, how many of you active peeps would enjoy them? Leave comments on your opinions and I’ll flip through them and address them when i can! (yes this is formatted like ****, ill bully someone into fixing it for me later)
  4. Tri please learn to format, my eyes
  5. Tldr “Stop wanting to **** things that shouldn’t be fucked”
  6. Hareven just takes weapon stock like a reasonable person on the precipice of war. One of Peon imps listens in on the weird cave and leaves with more confidence than it previously held.
  7. The underbrush and forests surrounding Aegrethond and Siramenor would begin to grow eerily quiet in the months after the announcement. Odd noises would often be heard at night. And in the distance, The Peon would prepare.
  8. Me being a jackass aside, this is p solid.
  9. Any of y'all got some of that uuuuuh

  10. No. He came into the event radius. The moment you do that, you've chosen to accept the consequences of being in a land corrupted and controlled by the demons. He attempted to use the hammer and it didn't work. And he lost it in the resulting event as ran by Joel and overseen by Riftblade. Multiple ST were there. If you don't want to participate, leave the area when the message pops up in your chat.
  11. One. We can't pk you without admin greenlight unless you agree to it. We can remove you from the eventline if you prove problematic but Joel being an idiot isn't a assured pk. Two. If the only thing that makes you feel safe bringing your items into events is a soulbind, don't bring it. When it comes to player vs player aight. Big lore event? It's not going to keep your shinies safe, especially a heavily lored item. Three. This ain't map end event bruv. Four. If someone deletes this I'm posting crappy deviantart drawings of My Immortal fanfic into staff discord. Five. Good luck. Have a nice one.
  12. A less tolerant man watches the beavers before considering some actions. Some golem with a hammer actions.

    The Summons

A lumberjack of a man walking the paths of the forest casts his eyes in the direction of the roar, clay man and metal creatures aligned behind him as he traveled with a long smithing hammer slung over his shoulder. He’d flip a strange token in his offhand, one that never leaves. He merely keeps walking. There would be work to do and it will not be stopped. Not by dragon above or demons below. The work must be done.
  14. This is fairly simple. This is a proposal to implement Azhl/Blighted Steel as a weakness to all Fae-Beings. I’ve been in the process of getting a Dungeon set up based on Fae Lore and other such things, such as balancing Treelords and such, during which me and ScreamingDingo had a conversation regarding irl mythos with Fae and Cold Iron. Now, reasonably it would be a bit weird if suddenly mundane iron in Lotc took on the effects that cold iron do. So instead I present this. For Fae, be it ET Fae or things like Epiphytes, Azhl and it’s products cause discomfort when exposed within five or six meters of it, like a intense dislike. Think someone pointing a firecracker at your face discomfort. As for it’s effects, they’re intensified. A few cuts, two or three, leading to Azhl Anemia effecting a human-sized average Fae. More being needed for increasingly different and strange Fae. For now the baseline is Descendant Style Fae, such as Epiphytes and what not. The effects against ET Fae are to the ETs discretion but will open up a more easily obtained and mundane weakness. All and all. Proposed Changes. -Fae and their derivative creatures such as Epiphytes suffer the effects of Azhl far more than mundane folk. -Extended exposure to Azhl is intensely uncomfortable. Mining it would be torturous even. -Azhl Anemia onsets far faster to them. -Azhl Steel being an effective counter in Fae Themed Events in assorted way.
  15. Qualms about formatting aside, the lore here should be adjusted to Lotc standard. Fae Realm is correct, but we've no Pan to speak of in our pantheon. Check the Mani-Posts for the Snake Mani for a good replacement. Also of note some of the aesthetic here are already held by Epiphytes. Would change the phrasing on the FTB to no FTB There's no precedent for Iron hurting Fae either, that's a weakness from cultures in reality that didn't quite make it. Maybe Ahzs steel hurting them more instead? I'll go over it again when I'm not on mobile, but there's that for now.
  16. While Kiaus has a point...it’s a puffin so yes.
  17. ((changed the title cause goddamnit **** ****))
  18. Return the nature to the barren mountains. The task had it’s risks but not so soon, Hareven thought, as the bear honed in on him rapidly. Ciliren, her prosthetic smashed, diving off behind a patchwork of the larger trees to wait for orders or hide. By Eedenartwork No amount of Druid prowess was going to deter the bear, a thought determined as it began barreling towards Hareven. The quarrel in it’s side staining fur with blood, but the crossbow brought was tuned for Cili, and made for deer. But it’s attention was off the child. At least for now. It lunged, claws ripping through Harevens shoulder as he narrowly made his way out of immediate death, a smaller tree crushed under the weight. With a quick motion, Hare would pull his coat off and roll himself onto the bears back, wrapping the leather overcoat around its neck and holding for dear life, the bear thrashing and fighting, slamming Hareven back into more trees and the ground as the Druids waited for his opportunity. And it came. A pause for rest for the bear led to a sharpened knife dug deep into it’s eye, held firm even moments after it dropped to the ground. The worst had not passed however, as the mountain rumbled.. Artwork by Thomas Moran Was it the sound of it’s thrashing, or the roar? Cilirens scream? The reasons came and went, as it mattered not. Violet sap running down Harevens arm, the wound not given a chance to seal as he drug his coat from out beneath the bear, as he ran towards Ciliren. They were too far from the shelter, the trees around them hardly grown enough to survive the oncoming avalanche. And then it came to him. Ciliren thrown further down the mountain, Hareven would rip out a notebook from within his coat. A knife into the bark, runes laid upon runes, with maddened speed. And a knife to pry his wound open more, the mans bizarre ichor laid onto the runes. The mountain side would explode in a flurry of heat and steam, the avalanche hitting the radius of the strange phenomenon, but this would hold. Snow melting and contributing to the steam for several minutes, until it began to cool. Trees scorched by the steam, exposed dirt, rocks, and moss now revealed from under the snow. Hareven himself, burned and missing the faux skin that concealed his form, crumpled on the ground as the wounds sealed up. Staring at what had been done. He was one of them now.
  19. (gamer pro tip, animii isn’t known as animii in character by anyone)
  20. A panicked by-standard runs through nearby cities in a tizzy, putting up notices! “To the inhabitants of our lovely lands across Arcas, please beware! I’ve been thrice nearly eaten by large snakes since that confounded meteor hit the woods and apparently stirred up some massive critters! I don’t know where they came from, but please be cautious! I have to find a new cow for my milk needs now! Them biggun snakes got Bessy!”
