  1. A young boy wandered the stone streets of the sea side city, wondering when the kind man that helped him would come with the spear he said he'd make him. His smile faltered somewhat seeing the woman he'd known as Freya at their balcony with a drink. Odys shivered as a coolness washed over him, though he couldn't tell why.
  2. The Phoenix's anger boiled slowly as she read the letter sent to her and her wife. She had no words, her nephew, another of her family slaughtered without reason. Nature around her grew frantic, as all of it was overtaken by the woman's grief and images of rolling flames. What good had that measured restraint gotten them?
  3. The Phoenix Druid halted her walk through the wilds. Her whole body tensed up as nature began it's morning, she didn't know why yet, but it hurt more then normal, nature sounded so much louder, like it was screaming at her, trying to tell her something. She dropped to her knees and began sobbing, her whole body shaking as nature shifted from sorrow to a frenzied anger around her, as a horrible thought came over her. Eventually, after calming herself down the Phoenix druid made her way home. She wasn't surprised when she saw the raven holding a letter for her at the door, nor when she opened it and saw her brother's writing. She squeezed her eyes shut before entering her room. "Ah... karin'ayla, it's been some time ti?" She took up her brother's staff, and held it close to herself. "Always and forever... lets hope you were right mal'onn..."
  4. "What the actual ****? Why the ****? That's so fucked!" The Phoenix Druid just looked confused, she sat for a moment and poured out a bottle of wine for the Frog Man who's village she once pranked "I liked your music little guy"
  5. Seraphina sat at the edge of a pond secluded by tall trees and a dense brush. The sight in-front of the druid was beautiful, sun rays shone through the canopy above, reflecting off the water and mist from a nearby waterfall and casting a golden light across her face. Her eyes though, ignored all of it and were stuck on a necklace of wolven teeth resting on her wooden palm, after a sigh she pulled it around her neck and let it rest against her chest as her vacant eyes moved to stare off over the water while she allowed nature's song to fill her mind. After some time of her sitting there while she traced the carved fox on her wooden arm with her normal fingers a sound in the brush pulled her attention back. As she turned her head to the brush a fox came at her, it's mouth a mess of red from berries and it's paws all dirty from running about. A sad smile came over Sera's face as it came up to her, placing it's head in her lap and looking up at her. She began to scratch behind it's ears as she looked back out and began to talk in a cracking voice as tears began to trail down her cheeks. "Things are so different..." She quietly mumbled as she pulled the fox into her lap, soon curling around it as she held herself and the fox with her arms. "I thought... nothing could hurt more then Syllia's passing" She took a shaky breath as she began gently petting the fox's head. "But now? Watching my family slowly fall apart... after thinking I finally found a proper home" Sera took a deep rattling gasp of air as she tried not to break into a full sob. "Well, I guess I could always start again, wouldn't be the first time. A- and now I have Ventys... and you, and Reta... p- plus the order is always there..." The tears didn't stop, Seraphina broke as her voice began quivering and she started sobbing while she held her companion, once again feeling alone. "Right Mavis?" She spoke directly to the fox, who she had been so happy to finally show Sonna and laugh over the name she decided to give her, before Zolvan passed. The Vuln'miruel felt like she did years ago, before the village, before the Druidic Order, before her new family. Alone, in the snow, with a barely there fire, crying for a family she no longer felt she had. [!] A raven would search out for Sonna, a letter with it "I'm sorry I wasn't there to see you off lari'onn, good luck, I'll miss you, and I'll always be here for you. I love you sister" -Your loving sister Seraphina Vuln'miruel
  6. The Phoenix druid ran like wild through the forests she had ventured far to deep into. The druid had no idea whom had passed, she already had sent a letter off to her sister Sonna asking who had gone. Her glowing eyes were like bobbing flames in the dark of the night as she tried to return home as fast as she could, nature around her panicked, birds took off as she ran past, some in the song of nature mimicking one word she spoke the whole time as tears streamed down her cheeks "No no no, please don't be my family, not my family, please please please" "Please" "Please" "Please"
  7. The Phoenix Druid sat though the story her dedicant told her, an ever-present smile on her lips as she listened to her. Once she had finished and left the house Sera couldn't help but laugh a little, her student always made her laugh with how much energy she always had. As she made her way back through the home she cried, though she didn't know why. Maybe it was the knowledge that it doesn't get easier, or maybe it was the memories of her fellow druii that she felt pass. She then shook her head and wiped the tears away "She'll be fine, I'm sure of it"
  8. The Phoenix Druid lets out a long sigh "The whole city will end up turning on itself at this rate" She tosses the missive to one of the big cats in her home, letting it tear it apart "I should stop reading these" The druid mutters as she watches the fire burn within the mantle and wonders if her people could ever find peace with themselves, or if they were doomed to war with one another till nothing was left
  9. The Phoenix Druid's eyes light with anger as she reads over the missive, her wooden hand reaching for one of the axes that hung from her waist. Though she closes her eyes and clenches her fist before she could grab the hilt of the weapon. With her eyes squeezed shut she mutters a small prayer for the fallen elf "You deserved to go out in battle, not like this" She allows her hand to fall to her side and her eyes to open "I am sorry that I can't right this wrong for you, my responsibilities are with nature, not the politics of a nation. I will do my best to honor you though, rest well"
  10. The Phoenix Druid's eyes follow the strange creature as it comes down to her with the letter. She takes the letter into her wooden hand, opening it and scanning the parchment. A small smile comes to her lips as she tilts her head. "It seems I've missed some things in my niece's life, welp. Might as well show up, could be interesting."
  11. The Phoenix druid sits alone in the wilds, her armor from the battle still on her body, but not a single scratch on her skin. She sat there with quiet tears streaming down her face from her glowing eyes. "I know we didn't know one another" She begins softly, to no one other then the nature around her. "But I'm sorry, I was at that battle, I should have tried to help you, or died trying... in the end I fled because of fear I was forced to feel. I would rather have died defending nature and a sister, but the day of my death must wait as there is still much work to be done. I am sorry Awaiti, tell Syllia and Vex I say hello please..." The Phoenix Druid falls silent after that, now morning alongside nature in silence.

    The Duties Begun

The Phoenix Druid shivers as she paints her face, getting ready for what's to come. Her eyes and tattoos take on their glow as she takes a deep breath, listening to the nature around her "Time to begin"
  13. The Phoenix Druid's eyes open wide after the vision fades, a cold sweat covering her as she takes a shaky breath "We have work to do..." She stands from where she had been meditating in the wilds "So so much work to do" She gulps as her eyes along with her tattoos light up, she focuses on the voices of nature, trying to calm herself before she begins moving through the wilds.
