      unfortunate timing i guess

       

      for a few weeks now i've had people need help writing reports, which I don't mind doing, but i imagined that if it happens quite often then its commonplace amongst the community to be misinformed

       

      just right here is an example as to why the PSA was needed

      Myself and other members of the team felt it prudent to put out a PSA as I personally have noticed a lack of knowledge regarding how Reports work and intended to put it in a more digestible format.

      Nothing new there! Just a PSA, everything that was written has been on the reports page for as long as I can remember, except for minor changes to certain fields that need to be filled when completing a public report.

    for those of you that wanted to know about the results of the report, there were no bans. every single person (everyone, including myself) was just given a warning.

    it's odd seeing the lack of transparency from moderation on the verdict of a public report, and disappointing that despite the amount of evidence, the verdict is just a blanket warning

      This was in reply to dio, but for any kind of punishment save for a select few and depending on the severity we work on a warning then punishment basis. I’m 99% the sheet (which we base ban lengths and etc off of) is public and can be found on the forums

      Unfortunately i am not an admin and do not have access to that information, but the decision was made by the team as an entirety and not in some personal vendetta agaisnt anyone
