The following is taken from some kind of ancient notes that were written some time ago. Alongside these notes were some kind of diagrams of star mapping, mystical symbols of electricity as well as other kinds of symbols. They all seemed to be stamped with the same symbol from the ancient silver state of Haelun'or, as if these were written by the same person.
"Time. The omnipresent and all-powerful force of Nature that is the only force in Creation that kills all beings slowly while also giving the same beings the ability to live out our determined time with varying paths to take. No one can understand it or even unravel its mysteries. That is until I decided to travel the world for 14 years after my parents' death. I first begin to notice the choices we all make during my travels and I questioned them extensively, piecing together what Time really is.
Most people believe Time is like a river where it flows from one direction and one direction only. To me, I've noticed that Time is more like a web that is full of various cracks and breaks that send us barreling down any given direction. Our choices that we all make seem to affect the course of History like we are on a boat that travels down this complex web-like structure that seems to stretch down forever in all given directions. I constantly use my own mind to travel down these varying paths of History, thinking of how our choices can take us down these paths if we make the wrong ones. Confusion, endless torrents of events both yet to come and never to pass, Time is a territory that I have yet to fully understand and explore. Perhaps if given enough time, I may be able to fully understand it and with it, gain knowledge far more valuable than any mali'thill (Pure High Elf) blood ever in history."

"Upon my creation of a golden pocket watch that seems to tell the exact time of the world itself, I have begun to prize it above nearly all else, save for the teachings of the mali'thill of Haelun'or and my never-ending curiosity to learn the various forms of combat. I know not of why I feel like I need to check it a lot of the time, but for some reason, I feel a bit more at home knowing the sound of ticking and the time of the world around me.
In other matters, I have been to the Elsillmurian Enclave in Haelun'or and gathered my uniform and my locker information, which had been an interesting learning experience. I also met Renn, a wonderful Wood Elf, at Cloud Temple just a few moments ago. She may be able to help me understand my fascination with Time and the pocket watch itself if I could just tell her about it, but for some reason, I could not tell her. Perhaps there is some kind of mental magic on me that deals with such fascination with Time or perhaps it is just simply I have found a part of myself that I had not noticed before? Either way, I will keep the pocket watch on my person to discern more about it."

"Never in my life have I heard my good person given words that suggest of my defilement of the beloved Okarir'tayna of Haelun'or! I know that I cannot be too mad at them as they were unsure as to why I was helping out Vanya to begin with, but I had left without saying anything more like a child who did not get his way. This was extremely immature of myself as I was supposed to put the other person's needs above my own, so I returned to Haelun'or after being at Cloud Temple for a few hours by way of soulstone to find that the Okarir'tayna was rushed to the clinic for her ailments, which makes me wonder if electrical evocation is truly for me as it seems to leave its user with a poor amount of electrical current in their body and they slowly start to die quicker. I am currently in the Tavern in Haelun'or, writing this in my journal and smoking my pipe a bit in order to calm my nerves and think more clearer. While no one was listening, I started to speak words of wisdom that came into my mind almost as if they needed to be said into the open air."

"What I had seen that fateful day had shocked me to my core, nearly making me even more destroyed than when I was with my parents' death over 14 years ago. Now, you may be wondering what I shall do next? Well, to answer your question, I will be training with a determination I had not felt in my life and with a cold fury that no magic can extinguish. Learning magic, melee, and archery will take time, but I shall persevere for the sake of the dead for they have been silenced for all eternity." -
On the topic in this forum listed here, the concept of a far more dangerous magic than void magic can be useful if you know how to work with it safely and sparsely because of the Oblivion Sickness' ability to speed up its deadly progression while the user casts even a single oblivion spell for a time.
However, I will wait on rewriting this lore submission until I get a better feel for magic on LotC and how it all works. Thank you all for the positive comments (and the negative ones too!) on the forum topic of Oblivion Magic, but for now, I will leave the topic to read for historical uses and once I feel like I've got a decent idea of how magic works here, I'll probably revisit the subject of the (slightly) unbalanced school of Oblivion Magic.

"No greater story that a child's first murder scene and they fall ever deeper into the psyche of all that is murderous and unclean, which for the High Elves of Haelun'or is the depths of their own murderous psyche that they try so hard to cleave away. A turning point in my story is only just beginning as I begin to take on the future self of mine and don on the look of a snobbish high elf, but if you knew me in the past, you would know that my future look would not be with selfishness in mind, but with immense determination to fight for the good of the world. I am no ordinary high elf, that much is plain to see, but even I have a darker side that does not see the light of day."
