Jack lives in Fi'Haler. Due to his father raising him in a way to believe that they were is superior to any other races, Jack can be seen as being snobby and condescending to others. However he doesn't believe that elves are better - Jack is simply initially distrusting towards those who aren't like his family. It isn't to say that he believes the same thing as his father - but as it was indoctrinated into him at such a young age, it's hard for Jack to shake the untrusting behaviour. Despite this, once Jack gets to know people, he's fairly easy to get along with rather than only being initially cordial to others and authority figures. Jack is somewhat of a perfectionist - he tries to plan out his day precisely and whenever that plan, or any of his plans don't go to plan, he gets worked up and easily ruffled. Jack hates not knowing things - he knows a lot from the Library of Dragur - so whenever he fails, or if a plan doesn't go through, he'll panic at the prospect of the unknown as he feels that his planning is something that can help him know what is going to happen. Failure is something that isn't an option for him, and he does what he can to avoid it. He'll often break down, normally in tears, whenever he fails at doing something, and one thing he hates is being stuck in the lime light. He often tries to give the credit to his circumstances or other people whenever he succeeds at something, or completely downplays his accomplishments. He might hate failure but being in the limelight just feels like another form of humiliation to him. Jack studies religiously in his free time to the point it was the only thing he did often other than his hook ups. spending most of his time at the library trying to work hard and be the best he can be as part of his life long attempt at trying to impress his parents and this just has a lot of varying results, most of them being negative.
