Tanakiin

Tantalus is a Heartlander that lived in a small cottage on the outskirts of Tahu’lareh, the elven capital. His father was learned in many fields and travelled often across the vast lands of Arcas. He bore a striking resemblance to his father. When he was 16 his father allowed him to come on a journey to the Greyspine Mountains, leaving is mother alone at home. When his father had gone out to collect firewood, he left Tantalus with a snow cloak make by the High Elves as a gift to the Snow Elves, which was then passed down from a Snow Elf Noble to Tantalus’s father. While his father was out a blizzard hit, destroying the camp, forcing Tantalus to seek refuge in a cave. When dusk hit he left to find his father, but to no avail. As he returned home, devastated he discovered his house ransacked and his mother dead. Raiders had gotten to her. Orphaned at the age of 16, Tantalus went to live on the streets of Tahu’lareh, where he stole for a living and helped educate the poor. One day the Baron of the Archduchy of Suffonia, Joseph Gladridge recognised Tantalus due to his resemblance to his dad and made him aware of his Citizenship to the Archduchy of Suffonia. Tantalus now journeys to his Homeland.

Azaren As a child Azaren was raised up on the outskirts of Fenn by his parents who were humble bakers. He has a dream of exploration. To explore the vast world beyond the huge snowy walls above him. He lived a poor life, as his father became gravely ill while Azaren was at the tender age of 43. Azaren's father died 3 years later after succumbing to the illness. This resorted to his mother having to run the bakery all by herself. Azaren fell prey to crime at the time, he stole from other shops and houses to provide food for his mother. He felt as though his dream for exploration may have died along with his father. By the time he was 99, Azaren was infamous in the area for his petty crimes. With years of self taught training Azaren had become nimble and hard to be caught. He was stealthy, quick and has the ability to parkour over the cold, snowy roofs of Fenn. In the same year Azaren’s mother also fell ill. Azaren was devastated he loved his mother deeply and has no one left other than her. The snow elves that had known Azaren as a child took pity and took care of his mother along with Azaren. After 5 months, his mother didn’t show any signs of improvement. On her death bed Azaren was given a gift from his mother a small silver ring and some emerald that she had saved. Her last words were; “My time has come son. Go fulfil your dreams. That's will leave my soul in peace. May Wyrvun be with you.” Azaren had nothing left now. He prepared himself for a few months and then he was ready. He was going to fulfil his mothers dying words, he was going to fulfil his dream, he was going to travel from the snowy valleys of Haense to the hilly forests of Warhawkes. He is right now about to leave the walls of Fenn. He shall be a nomad travelling the world of Atlas. He may encounter mages or wizards on his journey who may attack him or teach him magic (whatever the high mages of Atlas may feel appropriate ;).
