Jenn grew up with her family in a remote area of the Kingdom of Norland. Her father worked as a baker and her mother, Maria, studied magic all day. Her older brother Fernando---who she adored---went fishing every day. They lived rather peacefully until Jenn’s mother fell very ill. Fernando was determined to help his mother and so he set out to find a cure, much to Jenn’s dismay. Jenn and her parents waited a full two years for him to return. Jenn’s father, who had spent all of his time looking after his beloved wife, had also fallen sick. It was practically a miracle that Jenn hadn’t gotten ill as well. At the age of fourteen, she decided she was going to go out to look for Fernando and perhaps find a cure. Jenn’s parents reluctantly agreed. There weren’t many other options.
So Jenn did. And while she did find her brother, she also managed to get both herself and Fernando into some deep trouble with a particularly powerful arcane magic user. Upon doing many things that probably weren’t very wise, the mage wiped her and Fernando's memories. All of them. The mage cast them both out to random locations.
And so, that’s where Jenn has been at. She awoke on a snowy evening with absolutely no idea of who she had been. Heck, she even made up her name (On the spot, because she only realized she didn’t have a name upon someone asking hers). “Jenn.” She has no knowledge of her last name, or even what her past name was (It was Maya). For the past 10 years, she has been actively seeking answers. Along the way, of course, she has been exploring the world, meeting new people, and maybe stealing a few things here or there (always a troublemaker). She’s curious and won’t stop at anything to discover something new. She loves getting wrapped up in the middle of drama and trouble to try to figure things out. Not being the most agile person, however, sometimes she reaps what she sows.
One last thing---Jenn has an immense fear of death. She dreads dying without figuring out what her true identity is, and where her family might be. That being said, she does take a lot of unnecessary risks regardless. Jenn prefers the wildest and most dangerous path, being the adventurer she is. She really only notices she might die when it’s right in front of her face.
