Well i playing lotc for some months now, and it wasn’t my first goal when i started to play, but somehow i ended up doing skins comms like hell hahhahaha but i did some art commissions aswell. so i’m going to post the ones i did so far and i’ll try to be updating this list with the future commission i do. Introduction Hello and welcome, dear reader, to another installment of scientific breakdowns of questions posed by Christopher Francis Ocean. Today we will be discussing the possibility of Mr. Ocean coming out as Mr. Surtr - the bringer of Ragnarök. If you missed the previous installment where we discussed a line in Biking regarding the effects of moving air and heat dissipation, please feel free to give that a read over here. Context, Lyrics and the Question In the Blonde album closer, Futura Free, our Los Angeles based rapper/singer heads into a realm of philosophy that touches upon theological territory. He asks his mother, Katonya Breaux Riley, the following: I'm just a guy I'm not a god Sometimes I feel like I'm a god but I'm not a god If I was I don't know which heaven would have me, momma? Let me run this ***** I'ma run it into the ground momma, the whole galaxy [Christopher Francis Ocean, Futura Free, 2016] This is indeed a valid question! Which heaven (a symbolic term which we will interpret as referring to a form of religious belief system) would be suitable for inviting Mr. Ocean, a god-but-not-really-a-god, to essentially destroy the whole universe? Analysis None of the most popular religions in the world seem to fit the mission statement that Mr. Ocean posits here: neither Christianity, Islam nor Hinduism seem to have religious scriptures that are a match for being run over by a would-be galaxy destroyer. We will have to find a place for our god-but-not-really-a-god elsewhere. And luckily enough, there is a place for Mr. Ocean in a religion: in the Norse Mythology, as Surtr, the bringer of the foretold apocalyptic event known as Ragnarök. Let us lay out the reasoning for this by learning more about the writings on Surtr: Surtr is foretold as being a major figure during the events of Ragnarök; carrying his bright sword, he will go to battle against the Æsir, he will do battle with the major god Freyr, and afterward the flames that he brings forth will engulf the Earth – Surtr will fling fire over the earth and burn the whole world. [Henry Adams Bellows, The Poetic Edda: The Mythological Poems, 2004] Seems pretty fitting a role for a galaxy destroyer as Mr. Ocean, no? Also, Surtr fits the description perfectly of a being like Mr. Ocean that sometimes feels like a god but is not a god, as Surtr is a Jötunn, more specifically a Fire Giant – who is not recognized as a God but can do battle with Gods. Also, Mr. Ocean could likely be a Fire Giant, as he 100% spits fire. And besides, what can make you feel like a God more than defeating one in combat: If Ragnarok comes to pass, Surtr will rise up with the legions of Hela's dead mortals and attack the forces of Asgard. It is prophesied that should this happen, Surtr will slay the god Frey. [Raven Kaldera, Northern Paganism, 2012] We’ll let you guys prophesy. For in my eyes he saw potential! He and his marvelous group! Truly a legend throughout Atlas. He’d always sing of his Troupe! Hi guys, this is my fist post, maybe more will come. This is Darius, a tavernkeeper at Reza in Haense. Iits my first character on Lotc, and it have been quite nice to play in this server, i’m very excited too, so i decided to do a sketchy simple paint just to illustrate my character. im still thinking about doing a post with some of my works and maybe open for commission, but for now i hope you like this one. Sweet Beat Bread These perfectly made buns of bread are made for commoners and royalty alike. The bread is made out of very smooth flower, sieved to perfection. The flower is so smooth, it rolls off one's fingers without feeling a thing. The yeast inside is so fine that one can see that is has been harvested with much love and care. The honeyed water inside is so special, only one has the knowledge of how to create it. The honeyed water is said to be the best mixture of both honey, ale, and water. Made into a dough with almost godlike hands, grabbing every piece of it as it is done. Sodium chloride as small as one's hair is found within the bread, harvested from the south sea only. Several powders are also used in the baking process, but that knowledge is only for the maker to know. After the dough is finished it goes into a hot and wet chamber where it will be laid to rest. After is done in the chamber, several buns are to be made with such precision and love it is said that the gods made them. Then they will go back into the chamber to rise to twice their size. It is covered in egg yolk and egg white as it goes out of the chamber, such fine sugar is powdered on top that it is to smelt in the mouth. The perfect combination of love, hate, and skill went into making these pieces of bread. The combination of sweet and savory makes most water their mouths if they enter a tavern or ones home. Every bun is so special and precious that it is to be wrapped in paper with care to protect it. Currently, the only one who knows how to make divine pieces of bread is a high elf by the name of Melkor.

Hello there, skinners of LotC! So I’ve found myself in need of some skinning services, as even after seven years of doing so, I’m still absolutely terrible when it comes to finding and creating male skins... That being said, my needs are twofold, and are as follows: ========================================================================================== Request #1 (Human Male, Full-Skin [750 – 1000 Minas] ) (Reference Picture) To start with, I need a full, high-quality skin for a human medical doctor that shall be residing in the Empire of Man. I’d prefer that the hair be of a lighter brown hue, the eyes blue, and that a white medical jacket / lab coat of some sort to be incorporated onto the skin. I’d prefer that the hair be somewhat wavy, with the hat layer being utilized in order to illustrate such. Clothing should be compatible with the typical garb of the Empire of Man. A vest, trousers, and some boots would be nice to incorporate into the skin, in addition to the previously mentioned medical coat. The reference picture provided above is meant to serve as an accurate example of what I’m looking for, but needn’t be 100% copied in order to fit with LotC styling. ========================================================================================== Request #2 (Human Male, Face [100 – 150 Minas]) For this second request, I really don’t have much of anything in mind. I’d just like the face of a skin on hand that I could use to merge with some armor or clothing in the future. This one is also meant to be for an Empire of Man human, and either a mustache or a neatly, well-kept beard would be preferred with black colored, wavy hair. The color of the eyes I can edit later if need be, so feel free to use a color that you think would fit well. This is a rather simple request, but is still much needed. ========================================================================================== If interested in taking either of these requests, please reply to this thread with a sample of your previous work. I am searching for high-quality skinners to take these requests, and will only pay respondents who provide samples before beginning on one of the project(s). Assuming that I’m interested in granting you the commission, I will reply back to you in this thread and DM my Discord username to you in order to discuss further details.
