  1. Deep in stone Our iron swings The ore we mine Is worthy of Kings Eternal Prosperity Is what we’ll bring The Mining Order of Eternal Prosperity is the national mining guild of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, established in 158 S.A Kaldithrunn during the Aevos Coalition War by the Grand King, Garedyn The Emerald. The Mining Order represents the latest in a long line of successive mining guilds in Urguan, from the Prospector’s Guild to the Obsidian Pickaxe. The Mining Oder of Eternal Prosperity shall stand true to its name, and its labourers will be tasked with delving into the deepest and richest veins in Aevos. It is not a simple guild for the gathering of resources, instead, only the worthy and trusted spelunkers can call themselves a member. Ard’skuldermar The Arch Caver is the Guild lord of the Mining Order. They are responsible for the administration of the mines around the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and thus hold an extremely important position within the Kingdom. Thrudol’Mugdormar The Chief Miners are the foremen of the guild, tasked with the administration of specific mines. They are expert miners of the guild, assigned with resource production in Urguan’s most protected mines, such as Daemonsteel and Diamond mines, as well as mining in other allied nations. Mugdormar The Miners of the guild make up the bulk of the extraction force of the guild. They are trusted and skilled enough to mine the most essential resources for Urguan. Umgorki The Cavelings are the newly joined guild members, deemed to have enough talent to one day become skilled miners. These dwarves are assigned basic jobs such as hauling, minecart pushing, and the mining of semi-precious stones. Unlike its predecessors, the Mining Order assigns trials to its members to ensure the presence of Grimdugan’s blessing within them. The First Trial This trial involves an interview with the guild leaders, so that one may prove the reasons as to why they are worthy of joining. The Second Trial For an Umgorki to become a Mugdormar, they must demonstrate all the skills they have learned while doing their apprenticeship. Mining technique, ore appraisal, cavern navigation, and so on. The Third Trial The ultimate test to determine if someone is worthy of becoming a Thrudol’Mugormar is to see if they are capable of opening up a new mine on their own. Guild members are allowed to keep 60% of their haul, the other 40% is saved for the kingdom. A dwarf is expected to uphold their oaths and follow the distribution above, if they break their oaths and are unable to control their greed they are unworthy of Grimdugan and are cast out of the guild as oathbreakers. Guild members are expected to provide their portion of their haul yearly. Failure to do so will result in the revoking of one’s benefits. Guild members may complete special orders and limited-time requests for money. Once a year the guild will host a Guild Day, where all members of the guild are to attend and collaborate on a project together. Mine Access Only Guild members can access Urguani mines. The higher one’s rank within the guild is, the better mines they can access. Thrudol’Mugdormar are granted tax deductions based upon contributions, custom-made equipment (magical an alchemical), and personal golems. Mugdormar are granted tax deductions based upon contributions and custom-made equipment. Umgorki are granted standard equipment. “By my pick and beard, I swear this to the Grand Kingdom and Grimdugan, I will delve to grow my hoards and that of my people and use my blessing of greed for greater good. If I let my greed overtake me, and covet the glimmer at the detriment of the people, may my pickaxes rust and my lanters go out for eternity.” Fill out the form below to send an application to the guild. You will be contacted by a guild representative. ROLEPLAY NAME: IN GAME NAME: DISCORD USERNAME: PRIOR MINING EXPERIENCE: ARE YOU A CITIZEN: ARE YOU WILLING TO SWEAR THE OATH:
  2. Ajax Frostbeard, in keeping up with his usual regular songwriting and postings, had created a song for the miners. He was amused with this song to the point of humming it to himself as he walked along the halls, posting it to the Workers Guild's, Remembrancer's, and Tavern's doors. He continued to hum as he returned home. Hopeful that the dwedmar would also enjoy his little tune. The Ration Man There once was a crew that drove their picks through the hardest of stone, for ore to kick from mines below deep down a-ground Dive down me bully boys Go! Soon may the Ration Man come! To bring us torches and bread and rum One day when the minin' is done, We'll take our pay and go! Now they'd not been two days a-ground when before their eyes, a gold vein found! The Foreman called the dwed and swore We'd take that ore in tow! Soon may the Ration Man come! To bring us torches and bread and rum One day when the minin' is done, We'll take our pay and go! Before a pick had touched the ore micah gave way and a hole did bore! but the foreman's life-line had not tore he did not fall below! Soon may the Ration Man come! To bring us torches and bread and rum One day when the minin' is done, We'll take our pay and go! With no dwed lost, and ore was freed The Ol' foreman's mind was not on greed But he belonged to the miner's creed He'd take that vein in tow! Soon may the Ration Man come! To bring us torches and bread and rum One day when the minin' is done, We'll take our pay and go! For forty days or even more Minecarts came up,and back once more They hauled carts of gravel by the score As the vein crept down below Soon may the Ration Man come! To bring us torches and bread and rum One day when the minein' is done, We'll take our pay and go! As far as i've heard the crew's still on No dwed's come up, and the veins not gone! The Ration man makes his usual call to replenish the foreman crew and all! Soon may the Ration Man come! To bring us torches and bread and rum One day when the minein' is done, We'll take our pay and go-oh! Soon may the Ration Man come! To bring us torches and bread and rum One day when the minein' is done, We'll take our pay and go!

  6. The Pick & Hammer Guild of Owynswood Forging a better future! What are we? The Pick & Hammer Guild of Owynswood is a trading organization bent on providing better opportunities and a stable workplace for Smiths, miners, and any merchants working in the industry of refining metals and gemstones! How does this work? The Pick & Hammer Guild has a list of benefits and responsibilities listed below, and all of these must be followed, and these are always subject to a change by popular vote! A ranking system for individual branches allows for individuals who have shown outstanding loyalty, trust, skill and innovation to be promoted and gain benefits worthy of their dedication. The List of Responsibilities and Benefits Responsibilities of a Smith The responsibilities of a smith are as listed: To participate in the guilds activities and remain at least reasonably active within the guild community To sell your crafted goods excess of registered amounts to registered merchants of the guild for sale to non-guild members Benefits of a Smith The benefits of a smith are as listed Smiths receive a non-competitive and stable workplace to pursue their craft Smiths may buy Iron from the guild at 4 mina apiece New smiths may receive training and apprenticeship under older or higher ranking guild members Smiths may bring up issues in their work environment to guild attention, allowing for these to be addressed as the guild progresses (For example, if the price of leather is too high, we can have a meeting to hire cow breeders and leather workers for the guilds convenience) Responsibilities of a Miner Miners must sell goods to the guild, at negotiable prices. Must participate in the guild's activities and be at least reasonable active in the guild community Benefits of a Miner Miners may keep any ores they dig up for themselves, but, if they wish to sell them for more mina, may sell directly to the guild. Miners may vote on issues to improve their workplace. Requirements of a Merchant Must be able to set up a shop ((Be VIP)) or show documented proof of sales if they cannot. ((Screen Shots)) Responsibilities of a Merchant To sell and buy goods from miners or smiths at a reasonable price To adjust prices, if in an iron recession, or to adjust prices if selling price of items is too high compared to buying price To maintain shops and restock goods Benefits of a Merchant Stability and assurance that your goods will be sold, rather than be outsold by smiths who can create and sell weapons independently for cheaper Direct suppliers The ranks of the Guild Miner Ranks Strip Miner: The strip miner is the starting and basic form of miner. While everyone starts out as a strip miner, one does not have to stay in this position if their mining level is at least Apprentice. To be promoted for strip miner, one must actively participate in the guild for at least a week. Strip miners receive all the rewards and benefits listed in the initial Responsibilities and Benefits, but no extra. Iron Hunter: The Iron Hunter is the second mining rank, and is rewarded to Apprentice miner or higher who has lasted a week in the guild. The Iron Hunter is given the ability to attend Guild meetings, although, may not have a say in the going on's or actions of the guild. An Iron Hunter may enter the dark mines. An Iron Hunter will receive free pickaxes and weapons for the dark mines. An Iron Hunter may apply to join a mining expedition, should he be experience enough, and go on mining expeditions with Deep Miners. For an Iron hunter to advance, he must gather 768 guild points. Guild points are earned by selling iron to the guild at 2 points apiece, or donating it for 4 points apiece, which makes a massive difference. Deep Miner: The Deep miner is the third mining rank, and is rewarded to a proficient miner or higher that has earned 768 guild points. The Deep Miner has a say in the meetings and can vote on things such as councilmen, public voting bills, and even present their ideas before the council and public. The deep miner may apply to lead expeditions into the mines (an expedition is a singular person or a group of people entering the mines to set up an entirely new mine-shaft leading into fresh land), eligible to apply for food and workstations for these expeditions, as well as Iron Hunters to be sent into the mines with them. To get any higher in the guild, you have to be voted in by a group of peers, or selected by either the Founder or Adviser Mining Council: The mining council is the selection of leaders (The number of councilmen varies on number of miners) voted into office by their peers, or selected by the Adviser or Founder. The council will lead and conduct meeting, as well as have the final say (unless the Adviser or Founder is present) in a disputed bill. Councilmen will also meet with the Adviser and Founder to determine if the current bills in effect are helpful or damaging to the overall economy of the guild. The Councilmen are also in charge of attempting to recruit miners, keep miners informed, and determine which expeditions to grant and what workstations, tools, and Iron Hunters will be allotted to the Deep Miners.
