Minecraft name: Nugosaurus/Wungee/Bryanwaffles Skype ID: bry4nw4ffles Time zone: PST Have you ever been banned or received a strike? If so, link the report: No, I have not. Do you hold any other staff positions? I have in the past but not currently. (AT and ET) What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member? My current characters are: Nug, a Goblin Monk Ragnar, a Dreygur Ryth, an Itharel (cleric-y guy if you don’t know what that is) I’d sacrifice Ryth and maybe Ragnar if I had to, they’re good characters but I mostly play Nug and Ragnar because they’re pretty fun but Ryth gets boring at times. I wouldn’t get rid of Nug as I’ve played him for a long time now and it’s been fun playing as him. :/ (character attachment aaaah) What race/group do you think your events would best cater to? I’ve seen a lack of peaceful or just noncombat events and I’ve heard a lot of demand for them in the past so I’d probably try and do some of those. I don’t exactly know if that would cater to any certain race because the race doesn’t really matter, it’s more based on each individual person who is at the event. (like some people of a certain race might dislike PvE/combat RP and some might enjoy it, I don’t really know the stances on who likes what anymore, it’s all mixed up) What do you believe are key factors for a successful event? I believe that a successful event should be based off of the player's enjoyment. Events should spread RP into areas that are quite empty and should be made to improve a player's experience on the server and spread some fun RP. Events should also be fair, no spawning too many monsters in an area with about two people alone to take them on. I think that big events should be planned ahead of time so that people don't feel left out of enjoyable moments. Also a few rewards or a prize is good. (taken from my old application, I still feel the same way about the key factors of events, if you want me to rewrite it just say so) When was the last time you saw a event? I haven’t really seen any that aren’t antagonist-related even though I’m online a lot in the Fringe. I mostly seen Swgr and Slic3 playing some sort of dragon cultist guys. What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team? Are you knowledgeable in lore or great at organizing? Tell us! One of the strengths I could contribute to the ET is fun and enjoyment. I believe most characters I play are based around having the players around me enjoy their time on LoTC. I think the character that I’m most known for, Nug, is my most humorous and fun character to play, another one of my strengths would be cooperation; I’m willing to work with other ET to create events that would create a fun experience for the players. (taken once again from my old application, it’s pretty much the same deal with this question, if you want me to rewrite it just say so) Why do you want to be part of the ET? I’d like to rejoin to create more events for people, of course. I don’t see many in the Fringe or anything when I’m running around so I’d like to change that. I’d also like to spread roleplay to the empty parts of the Fringe and hopefully get players excited about playing on LoTC. Create three distinct RP scenarios/events that you would organize. 1) For one-3 person 2) For a group of 5-10 3) For a group of 20+ 1) 3 People (Credit to JustV23 on DeviantArt) Rumours of elemental imps are spread throughout the Fringe, a very wild and outgoing lightning imp would appear out of a small storm cloud above (insert place here, this event could probably be done anywhere). The imp would jump around happily, minding it’s own business and casually zapping citizens until approached. Depending on the attitude of the person confronting it, it would reply with some sort of goofy or angered action. If the person would try and attack it, it would probably either zap him or her back and run or if the person were to be friendly, it would probably just act all goofy to entertain those around it. The little imp would keep casually appearing in the area until the citizens would take it upon themselves or have something done about the mischievous little guy. This small and spontaneous event would mostly depend on the citizen’s reactions. 2) 5-10 People (Credit to Kekai Kotaki from ArenaNet) A crumpled up and slightly ripped up map would float around in the wind, eventually landing in front of someone, a note attached to the back of the paper with a slimey goo. The note written in an unknown language with random words and sentences of common scattered throughout the note. The note would speak of hidden riches and jewels in (insert place here, probably somewhere near the Dwarves as they’re all greedy in RP so it would hopefully attract their characters). It would tell them to gather a small group to venture into the place marked with an X on the map. If they were to follow the note’s guidance and gather a small group to investigate, they would be greeted with a lonely naga-like creature guarding a trunk in a small underground lake. The naga would summon minions to assist it (some PvE for the event, some mob summoning) and then it would attempt to finish off the others of the group (RPly attack them, head-on.). For a mixture of RP and PvE for the players and then some random artifacts in the chest. It would mostly depend on how they approached the naga-like creature, maybe it could ask a few riddles or something before any combat. A more versatile event depending on what type of RP those attending prefer. 3) 20+ People (Credit to AlexKonstad on DeviantArt) The ground beneath Fort (insert place name here) would begin to shake as if a strong earthquake had struck. Structures and buildings on the verge of collapse as it would all stop for a brief moment, the ground seeming to rise as a beast crawls out from under the ground beneath the fort. A massive subterranean wurm that had managed to burrow underneath the land before the fort had been constructed. Angered, the mother of many baby wurms would release it’s recently hatched horde of wurms onto it’s foes (silverfish, a few waves of them to hopefully dwindle down the amount of players). After seeing her spawn slaughtered at the hand of the citizens, she would burrow underneath them, randomly appearing to attack (a bit of enchanted gear or some sort of resistance and strength buffs for the PvP part) and pick off a few people. Once slain by the group of players, it would drop a few items for the players to share and hold onto as a trophy. (The event would require probably two ET and a GM for the mob spawning and it would most likely require the leader of the faction’s consent as a few things in the fort or encampment would be destroyed) How long do you plan to stay in the ET? For as long as I can, I quit last time because I was really far behind in school stuff but I’ve gotten back on top of it. I don’t have any sort of plan to leave on a certain date. :p Tell me what you want from the ET. I want to create events again and the tools provided would help a lot especially the renaming ability that was just added, it used to be a struggle to get items named. >:I
