  1. Published from the County of Malkovya ISSUED ON THE 10TH OF TOV AND YERMEY, 519 E.S. After guiding the House of Colborn for 18 years, Count Cassian Alarik Colborn has deemed it the necessary time to abdicate authority as Patriarch to his kusin, Mikhail Colborn. The time of Colborn remained calm under the guidance of Lord Cassian, and through the years of peace, it is time for Colborn to pursue greater heights once more. As such, Mikhail Colborn, from this moment forward, will be established as the Patriarch of the House of Colborn, the Count of Malkovya, Viscount of Venzia, Baron of Bethlenen, Lord of Vitraval, and the Protector of Scyflings. Lord Cassian Alarik Colborn has retired and will resume his efforts towards the growth of House Colborn forevermore. The Right Honourable, Cassian Alarik Colborn, Count of Malkovya, Viscount of Venzia, Baron of Bethlenen, Lord of Vitraval, and the Protector of Scyflings
  2. Swords Into Plowshares Writ of Abdication ☩ Penned by Count Waclaw Jakub Jazlowiecki in the year of our Lord, 1966 It was nearly fifty years ago when my father summoned an Impromptu meeting of the House and its many allies. It was upon that day that I ascended to become Count of Warsovia, a title I have held since I was but a youth of Fourteen. In my long tenure, I have seen and endured much- The Adrian Uprising. The Mori Invasions. The Frankish Wars. The perfidious attempted coup headed by Stassion and the subsequent war against Veletz. Yet one thing has been a near-constant throughout: War. It is my earnest and true belief that the times of war are behind us and that a time of prosperity lies ahead. That being said, I am not the right man to lead Warsovia and the Lechian people into this bright new dawn. As we cast aside our swords in pursuit of peace, it is altogether fitting and proper that I, too, stand aside and make way for a new generation of leadership. With this new peace that dawns upon us, let the young, those untainted by decades of conflict and cynicism, guide the destiny of our great realm. It is their world now and it is high time they lead it. Thusly, I, Waclaw Jakub Jazlowiecki, being of sound mind and body, do as of the publishing of this missive, abdicate my position as Count of Warsovia in favor of my son and heir, Krzysztof Pawel Jazlowiecki. May God guide him and grant him a long, fruitful reign. W IMIĘ BOŻE Waclaw Jakub Jazlowiecki THE RIGHT HONOURABLE, Waclaw of House Jazlowiecki, Count of Warsovia, Grand Master of the Knightly Circle of Saint Godwin
  3. ONE LAST TIME Writ of abdication of Jan I Jazloviecki, Count of Warsovia [♪] FOREWORD Thirteen years ago I have stepped on this soil for the first time since the fall of Grodno. It was a milestone in my life, and a thing I have thought to be impossible at the time. I have stepped on this sacred hill not as an exiled man but as the Lord and Count. It was ours once more - Grodno. The dream of my father and grandfather, of my uncles and aunts, dream of me and my siblings. Many doubted me. Too many to count. Even among my closest relatives words of doubt have spread like a thick mist. I did not falter. I have fought for what was rightfully ours and what was taken from us by impious de Vilains of Acre. Against all odds, I stood proudly with my head held high. Of course, none of this would have been possible had it not been for Ottomar von Alstreim, my best friend and brother of my beloved wife. He was the one who saw the opportunity and let me take it. Since that day, our Houses have been connected by a bond stronger than in the days of my grandfather Borys and his grandfather Ulrich. Warsovia wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for the people who, in addition to Ottomar, supported me in my pursuit of my goal. COUSIN HENRYK A person who was with me everywhere and at all times. Day or night, together we erected this castle without outside help. It was our work, our creation. Now, thanks to this hard work, our family can live with dignity. UNCLE WIKTOR Someone who supported me from a young age. Bald and untitled but worth more to me than a whole army of loyal soldiers. We have spent many good and bad moments together over these thirteen years. We defended this castle against invading bandits, we fought to defend Prince Henry. These memories will stay with me forever. UNCLE AUGUST A man that is no longer with us. He taught me what it was like to resist progressive thinking and stay true to the traditions and history of our House. He always gave me advice when I needed it and had an anecdote from his youth for every dilemma. I know that he is now up there with Grandfather and is looking at us gathered here. I think he has no reason to be ashamed of us and what we achieved. Now I have children too. So many that I can't count. I see a part of myself in each of them. Some resemble me and some resemble their mother but I love them all the same. This day is the one I dreaded the most - the day when I will be greying and they will be young and beautiful. Just as the brown of my hair is fading so is my power as Count of Warsovia. Today on the 2nd of Sun's Smile 1922 I abdicate in favour of my first-born son Waclaw Jakub, and install Wiktor Jazloviecki as his Lord Regent. This state of matters shall endure until my son is old enough to bear the coronet. THROUGH ALL, WE PREVAIL. Signed, Jan Jazloviecki, Count of Warsovia
  4. ABDICATION OF A CAPITALIST & CHEF, 1858 ISSUED AND CONFIRMED BY HIS LORDSHIP, THE BARON OF HUVAARDIA To my fellow Sedanites and her Allies, I have served the Sedanian Crown for many years with the utmost loyalty and dedication. Quite some years ago, I migrated to the Principality of Sedan during its early days. The Principality was currently under strife and conflict, however I saw a home for myself and a Realm to build my Regional Branch of the Bojo family. I settled in a modest house in the town of Louisville, ready to start my new life. I joined the military and served alongside many others and fought bravely for the land, eventually becoming a Commander. This realm is one that I continue to fight for to this very day. As the years went on, I befriended the noble Prince, Leopold I and went on to become his Royal Treasurer after he and I lined up in our ideals for the economic prosperity of the land. From that onwards, I started my hard work towards this goal. Starting with updating the various stewadry and economic ledgers, ensuring they weren’t tampered, improving their formats, and constantly keeping an eye to make sure that they were up to date. Over time, I worked with many towards this noble goal of a functional economy in Sedan. I fondly look back to this time remembering all the work I did beside Peter de Joannes, the High Steward and later Regent, as well as Dr. Benedict Green, the current High Steward of the Realm. My time working beside both of these individuals was enjoyable and without them, I could not have done all that I have accomplished. I am proud that I got the pleasure to work with them and get to call them some of my greatest friends. Over time, the Principalities economy slowly increased with the Crown Revenue stream starting up. Such funds would allow for better military funding, prize money for festivals, and overall ensuring the Principalities smooth running. Through all this hard work, I was eventually granted the title ‘Baron of Huvaardia’ by Prince Leopold I. This title, which originated during the Sedanian Rebellion, originally belonged to House von Hasfield. The family was loyal and was known for their military contributions. Over time, the Barony title became associated with loyalty and valor. However, the family died out, thus the title was returned to the Crown. Eventually, I was granted this prestigious title, one which had historical significance. I was beyond humbled and grateful for such an honor. Thus my commitment towards the Crown strengthened even more that day, something that I did not believe was possible. Thus years went on, and I continued to support the Sedanian Crown and people through much. The Destruction of Rozania, raids on our land, and much more. I even worked alongside Caius de Ravensburg on drafting the first concept of the laws of the Principality. However, such laws are still being expanded upon and officialized, my work still stands nevertheless. My loyalty, dedication, and contributions can not be doubted by none. There is no room to doubt as to what I have done and who I stand beside. But all these years of hard work have led me to think of a simpler life, one of retirement. Thus, I shall officially be announcing my Abdication as Baron of Huvaardia and Patriarch of the Sedanite Bojo Line and retirement as Royal Treasurer of his Serene Highnesses Government. I’ve talked this over with the Sovereign Prince of Sedan, Frederick I, and he has given me his blessing and thanks for my many years of hard work. All my current titles shall be inherited by my Eldest Alive child, Boja Boja. May she serve the Sedanian Crown, her people, and the Bojo family well. Thus, I hereby proclaim the following, with immediate effect: I - The Barony of Huvaardia and seat as Head of the Sedani Bojo Regional Line is hereby abdicated to my Rightful Heiress-Apparent, Boja Bojo. II - All properties and assets that I hold within Sedan shall be transferred to the new Baroness of Huvaardia, Boja Bojo, spare a small amount of retirement funds. III - I hereby officially resign from my position as Royal Treasurer, effective immediately. IV - I will continue to serve as a Commander in the Sedan Military until the end of the Urguani-Oren War, upon which, I shall retire from my last held position and travel the world. Signed, His Lordship, Hogo II of House Bojo, Baron of Huvaardia With Approval From, HIS SERENE HIGHNESS, Frederick I of House de Joannes, By the Grace of God, Sovereign Prince of Sedan, Count of Louisville, Haverlock and Döbern, Viscount of Fauconberg, Baron of Ponce, Avoria and Pyrmont, Protector and Lord of the Valley of Goats, the Haikaprier, Head-Librarian and Founder of the Frederick Library, Liberator of Libraries
  5. The Abdication of a Brewer [!] Within the Grand King’s Palace of Urguan’s capital city, Kal’Darakaan, whose stone hewn walls are carved into the mountain itself, Levian’Tol sits at an oaken table before a hearth. Like many of his brethren, a pipe rests between his lips while his dark gaze traverses the paper before him. Each word is inked carefully, each sentence finished without flourish. It was not every day that a King informs his kin of a voluntary change in regime. Denizens of Urguan and my kin, Though I was elected Grand King nae even an age ago, I am content with what I have done. I now realize I face a path that every monarch before I has had to tread - that of forcing one’s reign to continue or stepping down and allowing another to serve our Nation. Our past kings have chosen the former. They have refused to reject power that is not their own and our people have suffered for it. Yet, I seek to chase a different future. In my time, I have served Urguan with faith and loyalty from atop the Obsidian Throne. I have led the legion, brought renewed wealth and prosperity not just to the halls of Kal’Darakaan, but to all the lands of the Grand Kingdom. Urguan has grown strong with my incorporation of The Unified Domain of Vortice and the collapse of Krugmar into the Iron’Uzg fueled by dwedmar blades. The vast auxiliaries of our borders now stand to supplement the dwedmar legion each time we go into battle. The Crimson Edict, with their age-old grudge against slavery defeated for the foreseeable future, assist the Lord Justicar in discovering and stemming any outbreak of corruption against our nation. The Order of the Golden Lion stands ready in their Keep of Sunbreak to lash out against any incursion, be it from the void or otherwise. South Sedan, Vasoyevi, Stygian Hollow, Lubba’s Keep, and Myrine all stand proudly with the Grand Kingdom. Our enemies are theirs, and theirs ours. The Mages Guild has returned once more and the Remembrancer Library stands finally completed with scholars from all the lands of Almaris eager to study inside its tall walls. In the days of old, eons ago, we Dwedmar once had an Empire. I return to you now, my people, the closest we have come to that legacy in many stone years. I hope only that my successor has the intelligence to build on what I have done, rather than letting it regress to isolationism. Let Urguan swell with the riches I have gathered and flourish with the denizens I have brought in. To my kin, my dwedmar, the future of Urguan rests now in your hands. May the Brathmordakin guide your paths as they have guided mine. ~ Grand King, Levian’Tol Grandaxe [!] The Grand King would deliver a short hand version of this letter before his council before removing the Crown of Urguan, given to him from hands of Grand Emperor Rhewen Frostbeard himself, from his head and placing it infront of his Lord Justicar, Ulfric Frostbeard, as he left the Obsidian Throne for the last time to the sounds of his kins cheers.
