  1. The Valorous Griffin guild An organization that came out of its founder's deep sense of justice and independence. Leonardo Mallory Faervel Griffin founded the guild. All so members could do good in the world in the ways only they could. instead of helping create, protect, or build an organization for someone else? He had come To be the founder of his own. A decision not made lightly in the slightest and one that did not change his ideals. To help those in need, protect those who need protection, Pursue knowledge, feed his creativity and to take care of his fellow guild members. all things he will encourage each member to strive for. The Griffin guild's oaths are ones Leonardo brought over from another guild. Ones he helped write himself and ones he adds to as necessary. His goals are lofty but attainable. The Griffin guild is to have 4 branches. One for each cardinal direction. They will also have a naval ship And in the future most possibly a fleet. The Valourous Griffins will take to the water protecting Aevos seas. Each member will be trained in naval and or non naval combat but that is not the only option to help. The guild has different crafts available, and divisions all its own. Such as woodwork and crafts, trade in weapons, alcohol and jewelry, a smithy shop, as well as the pursuit of magical, alchemical, or medical knowledge. finally don’t forget the care for the cities where guild branches base themselves. There is truly no task too small for every action and skill counts. People of all backgrounds are welcome to join. Everyone does their part to support the guild. Members will have access to knowledge, opportunities, and training they could not receive alone. They will be provided shelter in the guild halls, materials for their crafts, herbs if needed, and a forge for the smiths. The guilds combat-focused divisions will have chances to go on many missions. Be it fighting monsters, thieves, or crooks. To raiders, Dark Cults, And large-scale disruptors of peace. There will be Chances for competitions and activities will be plentiful as the Griffin guild has its own celebrations.   2. So Tinkerers? Are they worth a lore piece or not? I have heard both sides. Some say it is just another version of the Alchemist and is not needed. It would be an overpowered smith or something like that. I can definitely see this side of the argument. On the other hand I have heard some argue that it would be helpful for those who don't want to get involved with magic or brewing. A Tinkerer would be good for those who want to build contraptions that are mechanical without having to get into Animati. I'm on the fence. I have played around with some tinkerer mechanics and believe i have come up with a fun and balanced lore but I don't have anything that clearly distinguishes this roll from the Alchemist. Is there a need or want for this new lore? If so what could they do that would set them apart from the Alchemist or the Mage? A rough idea of how the Tinkerer would work in my lore is they would create things and roll. The roll would determine if there was success or not. As you improve your equipment and knowledge it gives you bonuses toward your roll, thus improving your success rate. If you roll really well you not only complete your device/item but you also make a blueprint of the item. This is reusable and gives you bonuses whenever you build that particular item. The higher your skill the better the blueprint and the greater your bonus. These blueprints could be sold or traded among the tinkerers. They could be hidden in libraries or caves to be discovered. Again, I have this mostly flushed out but as cool of an idea as I may think it is if it just repeats what is already there then it is not needed and will never be approved. So I need your honest opinions and ideas.
  3. Adunic Alchemy An adunian bowie alchemist, currently sorting and preparing the herbs to make into medicine or symbols. Lore Reagents Deer Heart Potions Stags Stamina Bowie Camouflage Purpose OOC Comments and Shoutouts: First I want to make it clear, this is my first time submitting lore or alchemical lore for that matter. So apologies if it seems a bit weird formatting wise. Secondly, I want to give a huge shoutout to those that reviewed the piece and gave some advice, that being Nooblius and TheBlackBobRoss. Along with, those that just peer reviewed it with me, such as DrHope and Jameson, this is was a lot of fun to make and work on. Regardless of all of that, I hope to write some more lore in the future. If you have any criticisms or comments, by all means comment on the post or just dm me.

  6. - While visiting the Drunken Monk, you hear the two bartenders chatting to each other excitedly. Curious, you go over and ask them about what they are seemly excited about. The blond haired bartender, who you learn is called Elvira Naromis, explains to you about two new Alchemy ingredients she had stumbled upon and hands you two pieces of parchment for you to read. You decided to read, wanting to know what the ingredients were and what they do - Charos Blossom Vios Fyto OOC: Well, these are two Alchemy ingredients I decided to create and write lore on. ICly, Elvi (my main) has left for her journey and discovered these two ingredients (if they are accepted, of course) and brought them back. I'm not sure where the ideas for these ingredients came from but I think there needs to be a dangerous ingredient in Alchemy, as well as an ingredient that can counter the effect of the other. And thus, these ingredients were formed after a couple of days or thinking and writing! I may have some more lore coming soon, so keep a good eye out. :P - Gira
