  1. The 200 Knights A Ballad detailing the Redclyfian Defenders of Amaethea during the Mori Invasion During the hard-fought siege defense in Amaethea against the Mori invaders, The knights of Redclyf were among the brave descendants who fought on the front rows of the walls. Although greatly outnumbered by both ally and foe, they put up a valiant resistance against the invaders as they attempted to scale the walls, mori being met with arrows, war hammers, swords, and cannonballs thrown at them. The Redclyfians were among the last to withdraw from the walls and Amaethea, having made sure their allies such as the elves and Uruks of the Iron Horde retreated beforehand. The Ballad has been written to commemorate their sacrifice, bravery, and defiance against death and impossible odds. It is played with drums, trumpets, violins, and flutes while the lyrics are sung from the perspective of a father to the brave warriors. A depiction of the 200 redclyfian knights defending the Amaethean farmland walls against Mori and dread knights. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The lyrics of the Ballad: Six of my young lads stay at home and hide the clear gold. The other six in elven lands put the swords to the test. They Ride out to Amaethea with fine maidens on their saddles! Fight the mori on the walls Death before Dishonor! They raised their yew longbows high on the walls, then they let a volley out to the mori below. They Ride out to Amaethea with fine maidens on their saddles! Fight the mori on the walls Death before Dishonor! They fought upon the farmland walls for 3 and 4 lady's hours, The mori fell at Clearon's sword like plants fall for a good scythe. They Ride out to Amaethea with fine maidens on their saddles! Fight the mori on the walls Death before Dishonor! They fought upon the farmland walls, they were all full of wrath the mori fell at Bjorn's warhammer like the snow falling on fields. They Ride out to Amaethea with fine maidens on their saddles! Fight the mori on the walls Death before Dishonor! They fought upon the farmland walls, tired were the redclyfian knights, the moon could not shine bright because of the mist of mori blood! They Ride out to Amaethea with fine maidens on their saddles! Fight the mori on the walls Death before Dishonor! They are overwhelmed by the mori, slowly backing up, Then earth and stone shatter as Bjorn calls out "Death before Dishonor!". They Ride out to Amaethea with fine maidens on their saddles! Fight the mori on the walls Death before Dishonor! So far reached the inspiring words, it resounded in the sheaths, The knights threw themselves back into the fray, held the mori off to let their allies flee. They Ride out to Amaethea with fine maidens on their saddles! Fight the mori on the walls Death before Dishonor! The knights fell back, they board ships all soaked in red, they have successfully defended their fleeing allies and all the descendants fled. They Ride out to Amaethea with fine maidens on their saddles! Fight the mori on the walls Death before Dishonor!
  2. [A painting of a field of heather] For far too long the Wood Elves have been unaware of the growth that has been taking place outside the walls of Amaethea and The Vale- I, Ehrendil Taliame’onn, took it upon myself to take the name of Chieftain of the Taliame’onn after the disappearance of the previous chieftess, Melawen, my lari’onn, several years ago. Despite my exile from the Wood Elven nations at the time, I endeavored to restore the seed after Melawen left it in turmoil. When I started passing along parts of our culture— some of which had been believed to have perished with Briar Taliame'onn— to my children, who underwent the traditional trials, the seed slowly started to resurface. I rekindled old ties with my mal'onn, La'io Taliame'onn, by expressing my intention to assume the chiefdom's obligations also while spreading the seed outside my immediate family. Kholi’brii asks that we bring vibrancy to this world and I worked for decades to do just that and bring honor to my seed after my own failures in the past-- both to my seed and my people-- and the unfortunate happenings that the seed had endured since Briar’s passing. Since the scattering of my people, I've amassed ten members who are currently alive and strong, there were several more who have regrettably passed away since joining (Aspects guide them on their path to the Eternal Forest), and various others who have joined but are indisposed for a variety of reasons. I encourage all of the members to wander freely for, as the chief, I do not believe that the forest's children should be chained to one location. We are, after all, "of the trees." We have no allegiance to any nation and are subservient to no one other than the will of our Mani- we are to bring vibrancy to a world that is ever covered in darkness. Some may question my decision to rebuild the seed without a public proclamation- and to them, I understand your concern, why do I decide to announce this now? To what advantage do I have to proclaim this today? With my exile from Amaethea now lifted, and the seed strong and healthy as a mighty ironwood tree- I have decided to name the individual that I wish to succeed me, my eldest daughter -- Raell Taliame’onn, for I have laid the roots of a tree that may thrive under her leadership. She understands the customs of our people, and she possesses leadership qualities so great that she takes it upon herself to teach others what I have taught her of her own volition. She brings vibrancy to every room she walks in, and embodies what it means to be chief of this seed. To name her as my successor and to soon lead the seed that I have nurtured and loved for more than a century fills my heart with immense pride. I also write this message so that all Taliame’onn that I have been unable to contact since I took the mantle of Chief know that we have not been crushed under the weight of the splittings of our seed and our people. Furthermore, I welcome anyone, Wood Elf or otherwise, who chooses to join the Taliame'onn and aid in our creativity, so that we may continue to be a beacon of vibrancy in this world full of darkness. You may find me or one of my kin among Vikela or Amaethea. Chief of the Taliame’onn
  3. The Last Act of Prince Kosher Daesmon ~ Introduction ~ For over three decades, I led my nation and stabilized the basis of power that had been vacant from our nation so long ago. I put aside personal bias towards other nations, trying to dig a grave to put my past inside of in order to forge a better place for my kin to reside for the next three centuries. ~ For Principle~ “All in favour of this gathering, the confederation of elven states here, coming to form that of Malin’or” These words were uttered under my predecessor, under whomst I worked tirelessly to ensure that the alliance could blossom under Vytrek Tundrak. When these words were agreed upon, it was assumed that we would face all of our challenges as one united front, an enemy of one was an enemy of all. How I was wrong. Celian’or consistently took in enemies of Amaethea, those who had betrayed us, plotted against us, and even those who had taken arms against Malin’or as a whole. They take in the Adunians who fought for Norland and the Horde so willingly, then betraying Norland trying to use our war as an excuse after we had won it. They take in Elysium, who had plotted against Amaethea in order to specifically take me out of the line of succession. Kinslayers, traitors, creedbreakers, all residing inside of the nation I had supported the independence of, a nation that I had believed would be a pinnacle of modern existence, gone to the wind. It’s now my son’s decision on what he does next, but know it loud and clear what I have to say. My blade will no longer rise for Malin’or Signed, Prince Kosher Daesmon, Golden Tiger of the West, Prince Protector of Amaethea, Patriarch of House Daesmon, Praetor of the AFL
  4. To the Grand Duchy of Balian On 5th of The Deep Cold, SA 84 It has come to my attention that I, Prince Kosher Daesmon of Amaethea, must remind you of what belongs to you and your lands- and consequently what belongs to me. The elf known as Jarad Munnel belongs to me and has belonged to me for quite some time, as he was made a Count and granted a vassal within Amaethea. I find it quite odd why you would not only strip a man of his titles and banish a man who no longer belongs to you- but who also abdicated his titles before departing. To my understanding, and you may have forgotten, but that is alright I will remind you presently. Abdication means one gives up an oath or a position of power, which to my understanding that Laurir Munnel did. I sincerly apologize that the lands of Amaethea prove to be more beneficial to the wellbeing of such a man as Laurir Munnel. Perhaps if you write enough, you can write up a better Empire than the one you fled. Just a thought, since it does seem as though you love to write nonsense about my denizens. All the Best, Prince-Royarch Kosher Daesmon, Prince of Malinor and Amaethea, Hand of Justice, Golden Tiger of the West
  5. The Amaethean Foreign Legion On 18th of Sun's Smile SA 84 With the degrading state of Almaris, combined with the deteriorated state of the Glaiveguard, I, Prince-Royarch Kosher Daesmon, find it absolutely necessary that in this age of Mercenaries and warriors to create an Auxiliary unit based off of the growing need of foreign fighters by the nations of the continent. Thus, with the power vested in me, by my position. I created the Amaethean Foreign Legion (AFL) as a subunit of the Glaive Guard and House Daesmon, directly reporting to thee, Prince Royarch of Amaethea. This will be cemented in perpetuity until another commander is vetted and trained in this position of power. The position in charge of the AFL will be named ceremoniously “Commandant.” The Commandant will hold the title of Lord within Amaethea for as long as the position is held. The ranks will be given as the following: Commandant The commanding officer of the Legion. They create the rules of the Legion under their supervision, in their time in the AFL, they hold ultimate authority over the Legion foreign forces, only such authority is surpassed by the Lord Commander and Prince-Royarch. Their task is to lead the armed forces, and devise plans and strategies amongst their own advisors and their colleagues, they are to listen however to the Lord Commander of the nations army, they are the driving force and the leading charge, anyone who holds this rank has expectations to meet and must directly report to the Prince Royarch and (or) Lord Commander =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Lieutenant The only position of middle command of the AFL. There can be up to 3 at any given time in the AFL, though it can be less depending on the size of the order at any given time. The task of Lieutenant has always been a change in history, given many cultures and national affairs within different nations, here however the Lieutenant is the overseer of those under him, the Commandant's most trusted advisors during battles, and the best of the best in the battlefield are also given this rank. Furthermore the task of the Lieutenant, is to assist the Commandant, and the other leaders including the Prince Royarch, in in field battle analysis alongside battle plans and training overseeing of former Knights. They would be what most consider the second in command. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Knight Lowest rank of the official Legion. Those who have been awarded this rank are seasoned veterans, and have been inaugurated into AFL by the Commandant. These Are the Finest warriors that make up the larger number of the Legion, they’d be renown and widely known among their people. Upon given this rank, the duties of a Knight would be to assist the commadants in missions, as well as furthering the training of their squires and recruits. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Squire This rank is given to those who have passed all requirements, and have exceeded the training. Upon being given this rank they will be a member of the Legion, but still have a long road ahead of them. They would be training under all the other higher official members, and would make up most of the Legion forces. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Recruit. Members who have yet to prove themselves worthy to be joined into the ranks of the AFL, a trainee rank. They will be given many harsh and rough tasks, all which must be completed to the exact point. Upon failing these task, or the expectations of the higher ups, the Recruit undergoes an exam, if failed they will be removed from the AFL along being stripped of their rank beforehand. With this, the actions of the AFL do not reflect Amaethea even though they are an auxiliary unit. AFL contracts do not reflect the opinions of the state’s administration or their allies. Ceru’Na Amaethea Signed Kosher Daesmon- Prince of Amaethea and Malinor, Hand of Justice, Golden Tiger of the West
