  1. Year 173 of the Second Age 23/03/2024 ISSUED BY: THE OBSIDIAN THRONE ᚷᚱᛖᛚᚢ×ᛊ ᛃᚢᛊᛏᛁᚲᛖ ᚷᚱᛖᛚᚢ×ᛊ ᛃᚢᛊᛏᛁᚲᛖ YOTH BRATHMORDAKIN NA YOTH URGUAN ᛁᛟᚦ ᛒᚱᚨᚦᛗᛟᚱᛞᚨᚲᛁᚾ ᚾᚨ ᛁᛟᚦ ᚢᚱᚷᚢᚨᚾ I write this missive so all of Urguansfolk know what I have decreed. Recently, I had to solve an incident between my own kin and the folk of the Vale. A company of dwarves went on a raid against the folk of the vale; they pillaged and took hostages. Many were unarmed women and children. My arrival at the scene calmed down and de-escalated the situation as I came unarmed to the vale. It pains me that I have to make this decree while I do not have the right to carry the crown, but I need to enact its justice. My decree goes as follows. Baldr Ireheart, before the Obsidian throne stated that due to acting against my will and the Grand Kingdom, he was willing to take an oath of exile upon himself. His acts were bad, but that does not wash out the good acts. He listened to my command and ceased his hostilities by lowering his weapon upon my request. So, due to this, my decree of justice will be fair, and I will honour his request. Let it be known that these are the terms that were agreed on before the throne of Urguan. Baldr Ireheart will state his oath with his hand on the book of grudges with myself, Grelu Khron’edhekal and Jorvin Aenguldreng Starbreaker as his witnesses. Baldr Ireheart will relinquish his lands and titles in Urguan and will not harm any dwarf during his exile or speak ill of his kin. He will not enact violence in the name of Urguan and his people. If he breaks such an oath, he will be put to death. He has two stonedays to seek me and Jorvin to state his oath. Signed, GRELU KHRON’EDHEKAL Elected Grand King of Urguan, Clanfather of Clan Irgard, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik
  2. Year 173 of the Second Age 23/03/2024 ISSUED BY: THE OBSIDIAN THRONE ᛏᚺᛖ ᛈᛁᛚᛚᚷᚱᚨᛗᛗᚨᚷᛖ ᛟᚠ ᛟᚾᛖ ᛖᛁᛖ ᛏᚺᛖ ᛈᛁᛚᛚᚷᚱᚨᛗᛗᚨᚷᛖ ᛟᚠ ᛟᚾᛖ ᛖᛁᛖ YOTH BRATHMORDAKIN NA YOTH URGUAN ᛁᛟᚦ ᛒᚱᚨᚦᛗᛟᚱᛞᚨᚲᛁᚾ ᚾᚨ ᛁᛟᚦ ᚢᚱᚷᚢᚨᚾ Before my coronation, I, Grelu Irgard, chose to undertake a pilgrimage, feeling the immense weight of history upon my shoulders. I had only begun to scratch the surface of our storied past. Each step I took during my pilgrimage caused me to reflect on the trials and triumphs that led to the establishment of the first Grand Kingdom of Urguan and the rest of our history until now. I couldn't help but reflect on the times that had led to the founding of the first Grand Kingdom of Urguan. The lines of text from those tumultuous times echoed in my mind as I ventured into the rugged terrain, reading the forgotten scrolls of Hiebe Irongut about what had happened in Aegis and the other lands. I learned lessons from the War Council’s formation and our kingdom’s establishment. Around a crackling campfire, I would read about the sacrifices made by those who had come before us, their unwavering dedication to our people inspiring us to persevere in the face of uncertainty. During a snowstorm, I read about the sacrifices made by our ancestors to ensure the survival of our race. Our kingdom had undergone many changes, such as ending and re-creating itself as something new, like in the times of Gorum Frostbeard. I discovered the remarkable leadership prowess embodied by Omithiel Strongbow, a figure whose guidance transcended any previous experience among the dwarves. Renowned as a paragon of leadership, he exemplified qualities indicative of a life wholly devoted to the prosperity of our grand kingdom. I uncovered the epic struggles against the Teutonic Conspiracy—an era that had forged unbreakable bonds among the clans. It was a time when the Irehearts, Irongrinders, Goldhands, and other esteemed clans had confronted myriad challenges, including the scourge of the first recorded pandemic to afflict our lands. Under the indomitable leadership of Wulfgar Grandaxe, they had stood united, resolute in the face of adversity. As I reflected upon the sagas of Athera, Vailor, and the myriad of other lands, my mind was consumed by the rich tapestry of tales that had woven together the histories of distant realms. Each chapter had unfolded with its trials, triumphs, and enigmatic figures, beckoning me to delve deeper into the labyrinth of time and memory. But amidst the challenges of my pilgrimage, there had been moments of unexpected beauty and serenity. Multiple times, I felt a sense of unity and camaraderie trying to bring me back to our kingdom, your bonds strengthening with each passing day while I couldn’t be with you. There, amidst the tranquillity of the snowy mountains I chose to visit, I began to grasp the true meaning of my pilgrimage. I realised that true strength lay not only in physical prowess but in the resilience of the spirit and the bonds of friendship that had bound us together. During our past times of conflict, there had also been moments of triumph and resilience. I could read about the bravery of our ancestors as they had stood against the orcish hordes, the sacrifices made to protect our homeland, and the bonds of camaraderie that had held us together in the face of adversity. Yet, as I retraced the footsteps of those who had come before me, I couldn't help but question our path. Had we truly learned from our past mistakes, or were we doomed to repeat them? Was pursuing power and glory worth the cost of bloodshed and strife? And so, with the lessons of history and the spirit of our ancestors guiding our way, I pressed onward, ready to face whatever trials lay ahead within our caves. For I was not simply a traveller on a quest for knowledge and understanding; I am an heir to a proud legacy; I am entrusted with the future of our people; I am here to serve you: I am the grand king of the fourth Grand Kingdom of Urguan. As I returned to our homeland, I would now carry with me the lessons of our past, the strength of our convictions, and the hope for a brighter tomorrow. NARVAK OZ URGUAN! NARVAK OZ BRATHMORDAKIN! Signed, GRELU KHRON’EDHEKAL Elected Grand King of Urguan, Clanfather of Clan Irgard, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik

  4. Year 170 of the Silver Age 3/03/2024 [!] A letter would be sent around Urguan stamped with the crest of Urguan’s folk with a grey wax piece and a black wax piece with a ram's head that read: Dwarves of Urguan and beyond! The abdication of Grand King Sigrun Stonehammer pains us all. He did many great things for Urguan, long may he live. We sons and daughters of Urguan are at a crossroads. Either we can choose to believe we will never be greater than our past or we can look to the future. OUR MIGHT I have served in the Urguani Legion for many battles under the former Grand King, and I have dedicated myself to the revival of our forces personally. I will drive out decadence, laziness and complacency within the dwedmar. Under my leadership, we shall no longer take such disrespect from our enemies. The Legion shall honour those who have performed their duty in battle by medals, and honour those who gave their lives. The Dwedmar must show honour! We shall fulfil our grudges against the Azdrazi, the Khorvadic debearders and slaughters We shall avenge the seven they have slayed, in the name of Darek Irongrinder. The wrongs must be put right! The Workforce shall be reinvigorated, our forges ignited, to produce a steady supply of equipment from the Legion. Potions, weapons, armour, ore and siege engines! The excess shall be sold to yrromar for profit, to ensure consistent payment for our Legionnaires. OUR CLANS The Clans have lingered in idleness. They are the foundation of our Kingdom and no longer shall we bicker and squabble between ourselves. I call upon the banners of Urguan to unite! May the Irehearts slay our enemies! May the Starbreaker carve the golems! May the Ironguts record our knowledge! May the Grandaxes brew our drinks for generations! May the Frostbeards cut the waves! May the Goldhand earn their coin! May the Doomforge light our fires! May the Stonehammer crush the wicked! May the Hefrummo tend our wilds! May the Grimgolds engineer our contraptions! May the Irongrinder cast great magic! May the Irongates fill our ranks! To increase cooperation between Clans, I shall host Clanmoots often. This will allow the clans to communicate freely with each other, and keep the affairs of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan transparent to the public. In addition to this, it will encourage newer clans to contribute, and idle clans to reawaken so that they may sit on the Council. OUR FAITH With da Kirkja Dverga slowly being revived, I shall do my utmost as Grand King to ensure piety amongst the dwedmar, and that the da Kirkja Dverga can conduct its teachings properly so that more dwedmar can honour the Brathmordakin. OUR HOARD To grow our reserves of mina and precious materials, our international stalls shall be distributed to our merchants to operate. This will coincide with the increased production from the Workforce, to ensure plenty of goods are available for sale. OUR CITY With our growing hoard, I will employ the best dwarven architects to ensure the speedy reconstruction of our Capital city. OUR ALLIES With the end of the War, our attention shall be turned to the Western sphere for the realm focusing only on our closest neighbours and ourselves, to ensure that we are allied only with those with dwarven interests at heart. I, GRELU KHRON’EDHEKAL Grand Marshal of Urguan, priest of Dungrimm, Clanfather of Khron’edhekal, son of Greldyn Khron’edhekal, son of Jorik Braveaxe will do my duty. The Grand Kingdom of Urguan needs a new King! I’m willing to do what is needed for the good of the realm! I’m willing to sacrifice, I’m willing to die for all of you! It won’t be for power, it won’t be for coin, it won’t be for titles. It will be for the good of the realm that I will be the candidate for Grand King of Urguan! I must recite who has called upon me to run as the true candidate for Grand King: Grimni Goldhand, Onora Mossborn, Gallio Grandaxe, Thazzaer Grandaxe, Ulfar Starbreaker, Dor’nal Hammerfist, The Movement, Hefrumm, Clan Grandaxe, Clan Starbreaker and Clan Goldhand. I have pulled our legion out of the muck and into something far greater than any Marshal I have seen so far. I have rooted out decadency and laziness wherever I went. I have fought countless battles for Urguan and the dwedmar. Before the war against Veletz, I enlisted without question and I went to every single battle against them. I will not let the dwarves be just a mere page in someone else's history book! Ut vellar dwedmar! Ut vellar Urguan! Narvak oz Urguan! Signed by: Grelu Irgard, Grand Marshal of Urguan, Priest of Dunngrim, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik

  8. Artist ᛞᚢᚾᚷᚱᛁᛗᛗ×ᛊ ᛚᛖᚷᛁᛟᚾ GRAND MARSHAL GRELU IRGARD’S RALLY The Grand Marshal looked over the square of Urguan during the Azsol at the 11th date of the 164th year of the second age, he watched over the legion which he once served and now led. Grelu was pleased to know that these clans rallied to the siege of Drusco: Clan Frostbeard, Clan Grandaxe, Clan Starbreaker, Clan Irongut, Clan Stonehammer, Clan Hammerfist, Clan Grimgold, Clan Irgard and Clan Mossborn. Elder, Greater and Common clans all rallied together to do their duty for Urguan, those who fought at the siege of Drusco fought bravely manning the artillery, riding in the cavalry and fighting in the infantry in the trenches. Grelu upon entering Urguan picked up a soldier's life, he has been to every battle so far in the Great Aevos war. He ate rats at Breakwater, he fought in the tunnels of Brasca, he got stuck in the mud of Westmark, he rode out at Hippo’s Gorge and he loaded the artillery at Drusco. But this letter is not about the deeds of Grelu it is about the soldiers of Urguan who have honored their oaths, done their duty and serve. All of you soldiers give Urguan’s its strength, it’s you who allow Urguan to be proud and free. From the mountain to the sea Urguan will be free. All of you soldiers are servants of justice and when words can’t be used we talk with steel. Dunngrim has given us victories and we shall press forward into the battles to come. I have great respect for the fact that all of you enlisted in a legion that has been dormant but soon you will see some changes as the legion needs reform. I will soon put those reforms on the council table to make it worth serving in our great legion. Keep the banners rallied as without them Urguan falls. Remember dwedmar we serve, kin, clan, hold and King. Honor your oaths, honor your ancestors and honor the Brathmordakin. Service shall reward The following dwedmar will be promoted for their continued service, courage and valour. Steel Crusher: Thurgrim Silverbraid Lurdoic Irongut Stoneguard: Baldur “Sigrunsson” Stonehammer Nori Irgard Kugduhm Irgard Thazzaer Grandaxe Grungot Frostbeard Grelu Irgard, Grand Marshal of Urguan, Clanfather of Clan Irgard, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik.
  9. Sacrifices One taketh, one giveth At the date of the 12th of the Azsol during the 163th year during the second age, Grelu Irgard woke up after the battle of Stassion in a trench. He woke up with a terrible headache and without sight in his left eye. Grelu would scream in agony as he realized he lost his eye. But then it dawned on him, Dunngrim took his eye so Anbella would keep him alive. He might have lost one eye but more clearly it dawned on him it took eight archers to put him down. Signed by: Grelu Irgard, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik.
  10. The second Khron’nozkrom of memory The edicts of the Khron’nozkrom On the 8th of Khun - Khor’unn - Yemekar’s Balance 2A Year 163 the second Khron’nozkrom of memory was held in the home of Grelu. At this meeting the following Irgards were present: Grelu Dregdhad Kugduhm Nori Yemgar On the agenda of this clan gathering are the following topics. ᚬ The duties of greater clan ᚬ The reforms Irgard will forward ᚬ Trials of Thormodur, Nori, Dregdhad, Kugduhm, Borgur ᚬ Yemgar’s disownment The edict of duty The Khron’nozkrom’s edict on what the greater clan status means for Irgard is that the clan is seen as an honorable and dutiful clan. The clan will follow it’s creed and ways as it is a contributing factor to the revival of Urguan as a whole. The edict of reform The Khron’nozkrom’s edict on political reform within Urguan will be specifically aimed towards Dunngrims legion to foster more camaraderie and a more clear chain of command for the lower ranks in order to make it more effective. It was also stated the Irgard clan would like to enact reform concerning the officer corp. The edict of trials The Khron’nozkrom has officially recognized that Dregdhad, Thormodur, Nori, Kugduhm and Borgur have all concluded their trial of battle by working together as a unit to slay a great brownbear in the forests of Urguan. Dregdhad, Kugduhm and Nori especially who’m will be rewarded with trophies taken from said great beasts. The edict of Disownment Yemgar Irgard, son of Yemgar, son of Jorik was disowned by Grelu Irgard, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik as Grelu put Yemgar’s honor to question over the fact that he attempted to murder an innocent child outside of the trial of Dor’nal Hammerfist and Alaric Grimgold. The murder was prevented by Grelu himself with many as witnesses, specifically Dregdhad Grandaxe/Irgard and Obok Metaldrinks. Yemgar was not put to the sword as Grelu is no reckoner and therefore is not within any right to order an execution of him. But if Yemgar presents himself as an Irgard, wears the armor of Irgard. He shall be brought before Highreckoner, Jorvin Aenguldreng Starbreaker for these crimes: stolen valor, attempted murder, oath breaking and breaking clan creed. Signed by: Grelu Irgard, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik, Clanfather of the soldier sons Dregdhad Grandaxe/Irgard, son of Irgen, son of Jorik Kugduhm Irgard, patron son of Irgen, patron son of Jorik Nori Irgard, patron son of Jorgur, patron son of Jorik
  11. Honor before Dishonor Grelu’s secret At the date of the 12th of the Thorok’aindar during the 163th year during the second age, Grelu Irgard Clanfather of the soldier sons of Jorik sat in his newly moved home working on a paper for the Grand council. Then the bells of sorrow rang loud as Grelu looked out his windows to see the flags at half mast. Grelu would take to his pen and write this letter: “My dear clansmen of Irgard, today is a terrible day. Our King has died. I do not know how and why but I had a secret that I now have to tell you all before I wanted to. When we were made a Greaterclan by Grand Reagent Sigrun Stonehammer, he asked me to give him a political favor that did not lay well on my conscience. He wanted me, Grelu Irgard to support his potential candidacy for Grand King of Urguan while Garedyn the Emerald was still alive. I denied him that day as it goes against my vows, creed and clan to scheme behind backs. This was supposed to be revealed at the Khron’nozkrom to be discussed as I would like to discuss what our duties as Greaterclan is. I hereby want all Irgards to announce what they wish for the Clanfather to bring to the Grand council as an answer. It lays heavy on my heart that a man I trusted as an equal also can fall so low to scheme while the King is still alive and well. I wish that I have kept my integrity, my words, my vows, my oaths and honor intact through my actions. My loyalties lay first and foremost to my clan. I serve the Irgard as dutifully, as honorably and just decreed in our clan lore dictated by the Ironway. I wish to know your thoughts, clansmen, as I do not have any greater rights than any of you so I’m listening to your command and council on what to do. Sincerely, Grelu Irgard.” Signed by: Grelu Irgard, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik.
  12. A lance of iron The Valour of Grelu At the 11th date of the Azsol 162th year in the 2nd age, a great day is to be known. Through valiant service Grelu Irgard has shown impeechable skill and valor in battle as part of the Urguani cavalry. Grelu Irgard dismounted four enemy knights in a single charge. At this battle of Hippo's gorge Grelu dismount 5 knights in total, four which were apart of a single unstoppable charge. Such a feat most can’t accomplish within long lives, tho Grelu has at the young age of 72. He has shown himself a dutiful, honorable, just and now skilled lancer who can down even the most skilled of knights. Let it be known that Grelu Irgard has honored his oaths and vows to his; clan, kin, hold, Legion, King and Kingdom. For this feat Grelu will claim the epithet of “Iron lancer” as he did it through the ironway. He achieved it through blood, sweat and steel. Yemekar has created this soldier, Anbella gave life to this soldier and Dunngrim guides this soldier. May Jorik rest calmly knowing that his blood serves. Signed by: Grelu “Iron lancer” Irgard, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik
  13. An oath to remember The vows of Kugduhm At the 11th date of the Kaldithrhun 162th year in the 2nd age, a great day is to be known. A new patron was sworn into the clan of Jorik so that he may never wander alone in life and in death. Kugduhm Bronzemane is now to be known as Kugduhm Irgard, patron of the lineage of Irgen and patron son of Jorik Braveaxe. He has vowed to be honorable and dutiful in the eyes of the Brathmordakin as well as Khorok’ardann. Let it be known that he vowed to join said clan for honor and not for gain. Kugduhm Irgard at the next Khron’nozkrom will have to make his patronage known for all of clan Irgard to state that he will fulfill his duties to kin, clan and hold. May Yemekar bless his creation, may Anbella bless his life and may Dunngrim guide him to an honorable death. Signed by: Grelu Irgard, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik Kugduhm Irgard, patron son of Irgen, patron son of Jorik
  14. The first Khron’nozkrom of memory The edicts of the Khron’nozkrom On the 10th of Daruth - Dharguthr - Grimdugan’s Shroud 2A Year 160 the first Khron’nozkrom of memory was held in the home of Grelu. At this meeting the following Irgards were present: Grelu Kovidar Yemer Dregdhad Borgur On the agenda of this clan gathering are the following topics. ᚬ The world war ᚬ Clan homesteading ᚬ Clan hall location ᚬ Jorgur’und ᚬ Clan artifacts ᚬ Grelu’s trials ᚬ The Aengul in the north The edict of war The Khron’nozkrom’s edict on the current war is that it is a war of man and not of dwarf kinds survival. It was also agreed that the clan is ill fit to fully commit to the war due to the lack of resources and equipment but it shall be said that Grelu will rally any volunteers to the legion to fight alongside him. The edict of homesteading The Khron’nozkrom’s edict on clan homesteading is that the clan for the time will live in Urguan but in time will be going to settle in the Gotrek Union in order to populate, defend and expand the colony. The edict of clanhall The Khron’nozkrom after intense debate has settled that the clan hall of Irgard shall be within the lands of Urguan as to show their allegiance to the capital and the ancestral hold. The edict of Jorgur’und The Khron’nozkrom fully agreed to assemble an expedition to find and reclaim the lost fortress of Jorgur’s lineage as the fortress abandonment is seen as a great loss not only for the clan of Irgard but for all dwarfs. Therefore Jorgur’und shall be reclaimed and restored. The edict of artifacts The Khron’nozkrom fully agreed that the artifacts of the Irgards may only be reclaimed once the end of the current war is announced as then the clan will assemble expeditions across the realms to search for the lost heirlooms of old. The edict of Grelu’s trials The Khron’nozkrom has agreed that upon the truthful word and service of Grelu within the Legion of Dunngrim and the provided eyewitness sources it has been deemed that Grelu’s trial of battle is completed. Due to the lack of a Edhekalfund’in it was deemed that only a majority of a summoned Khron’nozkrom may approval of a Kangur’s/Bogur’s trials until a Edhekalfund’in is announced. The edict of the Northern Aengul The Northern Aengul near the Gotrek Union has been deemed by the full Khron’nozkrom a enemy of all dwarves as it stands in the way for the expansion of the northern dwarven realm. The Irgards shall assemble a force that will wait upon the summon of Ulfar Starbreaker to help slay the Aengul as it is a pretender of false Gods and heresy upon the Brathmordakin. Signed by: Grelu Irgard, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik Kovidar Irgard, daughter of Grelu, daughter of Greldyn, daughter of Jorik Yemer Irgard, son of Yemegur, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik Dregdhad Irgard, son of Irgen, son of Jorik Borgur Irgard, Patron of the clan of Jorik.
  15. A reunion of Iron The best gift At the 11th date of the Thorok’aindar 160th year in the 2nd age, a great gift was given to Grelu Irgard, son of Greldyn, son of Jorik. At the gate some days after the wedding of Lurdoic Irongut and Crera Mossborn a familiar face was seen and welcomed. Kovidar Irgard, daughter of Grelu, daughter of Greldyn, daughter of Jorik was embraced by her father Grelu who was performing his duties. Grelu had prayed day and night for his daughter's return. He denied Balor Irehearts command to ride out months before which Grelu rejected with these words “Oi’m waiteng on meh daug’ter lad, oi do be a soldier but am not gonna leave meh station ‘ere in meh kinland as oi’m expecting meh daug’ter’s return aye! The Khorok’ardann watched her path and the black ram let her safely pass with life back to her father. A blessing to be sure as Grelu has dutifully honored his oaths and duties. Taken the lives of enemies in the field to bless his kin with life. The Irgard clan is gathering and soon may their banners wave in the wind. Together they will stand and fall at the gates. 16. “Good riddance!” Tuzic calls as he tosses his hand-hewn crutches off the cliffs of Hefrumm - They clatter against the rocks, smashing to bits before they ever reach the bottom… He sighs and sits back on the bench nearby. “Let’s see ‘ere…” he muttered, his hand feeling over his bench for the lunch sack he had brought with him to his Cliffside spot… though it wasn’t there! “Hrm?... wot en tha..” he turns back towards the village to see a flash of something… something small and silver had dashed off around the corner. “Wot en Anbella’s name…” Tuzic thought to himself as he hoisted himself from his seat - he quickly followed after, he was suspicious… with a war going on afterall. He trailed that flash of silver along the paths that lead up the cliffs in the home of the Forest Dwarves. The trail of the small being was easy to follow - it’s tiny feet left clear marks for the seasoned hunter to track “Silleh buggers… Just loike ah read.” he mutters to himself. Tuzic paused then, his head filled with thoughts as he tailed the small thief. The light filters down through the high treetops of the village, the silhouettes of leaves cast on the food storage. “Maybe..” he thinks aloud to himself as he digs into a store barrel nearby - he grabs a sack and fills it with carrots from Hefrumm’s stores, and off he is again up the path towards the top of the cliffs. Following the tiny trail up the path led the forest chief to a small burrow… dug under the roots of an oak tree. A Silvernip was there, a tiny gnome-like creature covered in silver hair - who was trying his absolute hardest to stuff Tuzic’s lunch sack into his burrow, though the opening was clearly too wide… The chief frowned as he saw the silly little creature struggling to secure his loot, he grabbed the sack he had filled with carrots in one hand as he approached. “‘Ere… bit o’ carrots ‘and oi get me lunch back lad?” He asks the creature in his thick dwarven accent. The gnomish Silvernip lets out a squeal of fear as he sees his victim has caught up to him, and he runs behind the stump of his oak tree to hide. “Ahh… yer ah pest but don’t fret, nah mean ye ‘arm… no point.” the Chief mutters as he traded his lunch sack for the one filled with carrots… he didn’t want to starve the tiny guy. He chose then to leave the silvernip to his hovel alone, and as he shuffled away - the creature peaked around it’s oak cover - sneaking a confused glance at the Forest Dwarf before returning to it’s sad attempt at shoving the sack into it’s burrow. Tuzic laughed at the sight, quite pleased with the small little “friend” he had made in the silvernip as he walked back to his cliffside bench. He sat once again in his spot - snacking on the various breads and dried meats he had prepared for himself, he let out a sigh of relief… Though quickly his mind was back to the fighting - the cannons rang out in his ears and the “THWACK” of the trebuchets along with them… the clanging of armor and blade striking together - the screams of the wounded. “Will weh watch t’eir ‘ome fall to blade and spell as t’ey threatened ours?..” he wonders aloud, and a frown goes over his face as he pauses to think “If weh must.”
  17. YEAR 150 OF THE SECOND AGE. The Stonehammers are a young clan founded by Sigrun ‘Dragonslayer’ Stonehammer in the Year 150 of The Second Age after the consecration of Sigrun as a Hero of Dungrimm. Descendant from Irehearts, The Stonehammers shall be known for their indomitable spirit in battle, honour in combat and undying loyalty to The Grand Kingdom of Urguan. [!] A depiction of Clan Founder Sigrun ‘Dragonslayer’ Stonehammer wielding his Carbarum Gladius. The members of the Stonehammer clan are to be devout in their worship of The Brathmordakin, with most choosing their patron to be Dungrimm, however they are expected to show worship to all of The Brathmordakin. Furthermore they believe that the beings known as Aenguls and Daemons are creatures created by The Brathmordakin to serve descendant and dwarf kind, though some have bastardized this duty. Stonehammers fiercely believe in honour and glory, and have to vow to the Clan Father to uphold these values in everything they do. To intentionally start a fight with an opponent weaker than them is cowardice, to decline an honest challenge even more so. The members of The Stonehammer Clan are expected to aid Dungrimm in all ways, any darkspawn roaming the earth must be purged as they are avoiding the natural course of life. [!] A Stonehammer searching for a Frost Witch atop the frozen peak of a mountain. The Stonehammers have clan traditions they value and share with one another to celebrate their honour and glory amongst their peers, and to incite their indomitable spirit for the slaying of darkspawn and honourable combat. THE STONEHAMMER WAR DRUMS. It is common for members of the Stormhammer clan to play their heavy dwarven wardrums in preface of any battle to be had, as a way to ignite their spirits for the combat ahead. Typically the rhythms played will be slow and booming in sound, slowly picking up in speed. The effect incites a sense of fear in their enemies and a feeling of courage within themselves. HISTORY KEEPING. Members of the Stormhammer clan are expected to keep a well-written history of themselves to cement their legacy within the clan and Urguan itself, after each of their trials they shall record what they have done and found from the experience. Many Stormhammers also take to any artifacts or trophies they can find during exploring of the deep, or after besting their opponent to add it to their hoard of valuables. THE STONEHAMMER TATTOO. It is tradition within the Stonehammer clan to add at least a singular tattoo of gray paint to one’s face after having completed all their trials, cementing themselves as a full Stonehammer in the clan. HEAVY ARMOUR. The Stonehammers are expected to don themselves in heavy dwarven armour to ensure they are capable of taking many blows during the grueling hours of combat, acting as a shield to their kinsmen of Urguan. Whilst it is not mandatory, many Stonehammers pride themselves at being at the frontline of the battlefield. [!] A A heavily armoured Stonehammer invigorated by the beating of the War Drums. There are four trials to be completed in order to be considered a full initiated member of the Stonehammer clan, and they are as follows. THE FIRST TRIAL: TO PROVE ONE’S WORTH ILLUMINATED BY DUNGRIMM. The newly joined Stonehammer is expected to march out into the night of the full moon to confront a great beast of large proportions and to take it down in a great battle. Should they succeed, they shall take a trophy from the fallen beast as a memorial from the battle, and must bury the beast’s body wherever they had dealt the final blow if possible. Afterwards they must show the Clan Father their trophy and the site of the beast’s burial to complete their first trial. THE SECOND TRIAL: TO CEMENT ONE’S SUCCESS IN AN OFFICIAL RECORD. The Second Trial of the now more experienced Stonehammer is a stark contrast to the action of the previous. Within the Halls of The Stonehammers, they shall record their first trial’s events and outcome in a Book & Quill to have it be knowledge to the rest of the clan, alongside presenting their first trophy for all to see in the Clan hall. THE THIRD TRIAL: TO SHARE COMRADERY WITH THE FELLOW DWEDMAR. The Third Trial of the Stonehammer now beginning to cement his legacy is to create comradery with his fellow dwedmar is to host an event for the citizen of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. This event can be anything from an archery contest, to a tavern night. Anything is allowed if it builds bonds and comradery with your fellow dwedmar. THE FINAL TRIAL: TO SHOW THE CLAN FATHER WHAT YOU ARE MADE OF. The Final Trial of the now almost fully initiated is to duel the current Clan Father whilst both combatants don their best gear and equipment. They are not required to win the duel, but to pass the trial they are required to inflict a permanent scar on the current Clan Father, leaving their legacy of combat onto the body of the one sitting at the head of the clan. After the duel is over, and the Stonehammer is now fully initiated they shall receive their gray tattoo, and a feast is to be held in their honour.

The altars and shrines dedicated to the Brathmordakin within the esteemed Temple of Kal'Kadrelaz have been vilely desecrated, defiled by a malevolent hand that seeks to undermine our sacred traditions and tarnish our devotion to the gods. Such an act is not only an affront to the faithful and the nation, but a heinous crime against the very essence of the Brathmordakin, who watch over our people and guide us with their divine presence. This act of sacrilege and heresy shall not go unanswered, for we, the followers of the Brathmordakin, shall stand united in our resolve to bring the perpetrator to justice. As is our solemn duty, the individual responsible for this heinous act shall be captured, tried, and, upon conviction, shall face the most severe of consequences. Heresy against the Brathmordakin and the desecration of sacred artifacts is a grave crime that strikes at the heart of our faith, and it shall be met with the full force of our devotion. Our faith has withstood the test of time and the trials of the world, and we shall not waver now. Our ancestors and the gods themselves look upon us with anticipation as we restore the sanctity of our shrines and temples. We call upon all faithful sons and daughters of the Stone to rally together, offering both prayer and vigilance, that we may guard against further acts of sacrilege. In unity and devotion to the Brathmordakin, we shall mend what has been broken and cleanse what has been defiled. The recent disappearance of our beloved High Prophet Auriel Doomforge, Prophetess of Armakak, has left a void within our holy council, and we extend our prayers and gratitude for her guidance and wisdom throughout her stewardship of the faith. In tandem with this solemn occasion, we also recognize the retirement of two esteemed Prophets who have dutifully served our faith and people for countless years. Garedyn the Emerald, Prophet of Yemekar, our King, a pillar of strength and unwavering faith, and Tuzic Mossborn, Prophet of Ogradhad, the keeper of lore and wisdom, both have chosen to step aside, allowing their successors to carry forth the torch of our faith. With the faith in our hearts and the blessings of the Brathmordakin, it is my honor to accept the mantle of High Prophet in this time of transition. My name is Alaric 'the Black' Grimgold, and I bear the sacred duty as the Prophet of Dungrimm, the Masked Lord of Death and War. I pledge to honor the Brathmordakin, our ancestors, and our people with unwavering devotion, just as my esteemed predecessors have done. The time has come to celebrate the consecration of two exceptional champions, Jorvin 'Godslayer' Starbreaker and Sigrun 'Brathhammer' Stonehammer, whose unwavering faith and unyielding strength have woven their legends into the very fabric of our faith and people. Jorvin 'Godslayer' Starbreaker, a name that resounds through the ages, earned through valor and the undying dedication to our faith and nation. During the twilight years of the First Age, Jorvin, blessed by Dungrimm's own hand, led our kin into the crucible of battle against the vile demonic forces of Khorvad. It was there, upon the blood-soaked crater of Al'Faiz, that he clashed with the corrupted Aengul Gazardiel. In that fateful battle, Jorvin wielding the Hammer of Urguan rang true, and the vile corruption met its demise at his very hands. The skies cleared, and the Second Age dawned, rescuing our Descendant races from the precipice of destruction. Jorvin's unyielding spirit and strength have embodied the very essence of what a Dwed, what a King, should be. He proved that even when darkness shrouds us, we shall emerge, for the Brathmordakin watch over us all. Sigrun 'Undeadslayer' Stonehammer, has etched his name into the tapestry of our people's recent history through his indomitable courage and unwavering loyalty to the Brathmordakin. As the first to slay the lich-dragon Cloudbreaker, he led our soldiers through the flames of Balian to safety. During the trying times of the Mori Invasion, Sigrun's unwavering resolve and steadfast leadership in the defense of our capital proved pivotal in safeguarding our sacred halls. He has led the Legions of Urguan to countless victories and single handedly brought the Norlandic Conflict to its conclusion. His accomplishments have strengthened our Grand Kingdom and secured our faith in the face of adversity. The consecration of these two Heroes is not merely an honor for them, but a testament to the unwavering strength and enduring resolve of our people, our faith, and the Brathmordakin. Jorvin and Sigrun, through their actions and devotion, exemplify the very essence of our Dwed and serve as a beacon of inspiration to us all. As we gather in the depths of our stone halls, under the watchful eye of Yemekar and the entire Brathmordakin, let us raise our voices in unison to celebrate the consecration of these remarkable champions. May their deeds inspire us, and may they forever be remembered as living Heroes, for their devotion and bravery have solidified our faith and our place in this world. 21. The Brathmordikan Temple of Almaris was overrun by the Mori and Duren held onto the body of a fatally wounded Ireheart dragging him closer to the city square. Before making an escape the elder Ireheart observed as the Dwed of the underground gallantly fought and with great valor able to defeat many Mori though were still being pushed back. Upon a retreat, Duren takes one look back at the Temple and witnesses a grand miracle conjured by another’s magic. A manifestation of Lord Dungrimm spilled out into the Temple slamming a large hammer upon many of the Mori causing the walls to collapse and providing time for escape. Duren glances back as he evacuates into the valley from the city and a bright light shines upon the mountain where his grand-son Balor rests. He squeezes his eyes closed from shedding a tear as he whispers a prayer for his fallen kin “ᚱᛖᛊᛏ ᛁᚾ ᛈᛖᚲᛖ ᛒᚨᛚᛟᚱ”. He hesitantly turns his body to continue the evacuation leaving his late grand-son in the care of Dungrimm. Duren and his great-grandson Balor II carrying the injured body of their Ireheart kin out of the mountains to safety. Once they reached the harbor the exhaustion from being the vanguard at the Temple finally overcame them. Some stone years later, Duren & many other of the Dwarves have reached the survival lands of Failor and established Camp Dwed to subsist despite the odds. Though many of them had not rallied for so long since the exodus. They have managed to continue their councils without even proper courts or temples. Celebrations and ale-pouring commonly occur as the camp cherishes the life spared to them by the Gods and also mourning for those who were lost. Even in the face of insecurity the Dwarves of Urguan keep to the pursuit of Yemekar, striking the earth!
  22. [!] Depiction of a dwarven pilgrim The Path of Pilgrimage 14 years ago, the Clergy declared the beginning of the Shrine Project, a project that aimed to construct shrines across Urguani lands for the Brathmordakin and to facilitate pilgrimages. The construction project was delayed many times due to various turbulences in the kingdom affecting the availability of builders, but the clergy is happy to announce that the Shrine Project is finally complete. One Shrine for Each Brathmordakin has been constructed in all the reaches of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, open to all faithful pilgrims to travel between and venerate the Brathmordakin, and perform religious rites within them. A pilgrimage will be held on The Grand Harvest, 127 S.A to all the shrines and venerate the Brathmordakin. (OOC: May 6th 3pm EST) [!] Paintings of the Shrines are attached below Shrine of Yemekar’s Balance Location: 1482 8 758 Statues of the Sons of Urguan are present in the main chamber. They represent the collective dwaven people today, since they all descended from them and thus as they represent all of us and our duties to uphold Yemekar’s Balance. The interior chamber features Urguan and Yudora, the first dwarves and a statue of Yemekar infont of a white anvil. Rites: Ancestral Veneration – all dwarves are welcome to come pay homage to their ancestors, whether to a particular patriarch or to Urguan and Yudora. With this, one is reminded of the continuous duty of the dwarven people to uphold Yemekar’s Blanace all the way from our progenitors. Smithing - The best way to honour Yemekar is to partake in the act of creation. Smith in front of Yemekar, so your crafts may receive guidance. Shrine of Dungrimm’s Respite Location: 1631 77 1692 Located next to the Legion training camp, this burial mound serves as a reminder for the dwarves of not only Dungrimm’s honour but the duty of all dwarves to respect our deceased ancestors and live with dignity and according to the word of the Brathmordakin so we may rejoin them in Kaz’A’Dentrumm. Rites: Weapon Offering – Next to the giant blade of Dungrimm, one may leave their weapon as an offering to him, so that it may be taken out and given to our ancestors in Kaz’A’Dentrumm. Safe Passage - Deep in the catacombs, when the moon shines above the skylight, prayer can be offered to Dungrimm for the safe passage of our deceased into Kaz’A’Dentrumm. Shrine of Armakak’s Bonfire Location: 588 76 1094 A tower with a beacon of fire shines on the side of the road. The Shrine of Armakak’s Bonfire is located on a popular trade route leading to Linnormr. Its fire beckons all travellers to come close and enjoy the warmth and engage in trade. Rites: Sunlit Trade - When the sun is high, bring out your wares and engage in joyous trading. With Armakak watching high above, trade with grace and reciprocity. Bonfire Offering - One may take some coins, jewellery or anything of value and set them ablaze in the bonfire atop the building, so that those precious objects may make their way to Armakak’s brilliant and burning realm of gold. Shrine of Anbella’s Embrace Location: 286 104 382 Anbella’s Embrace is hidden deep within the woods, a large grove underground in the woodland soil. The walls are covered in vines, moss and ancient engravings from the descendants of Gloin Treebeard. The skull of a gigantic beast lays petrified in front of Anbella’s Rings. Rites: Alms - Offer food, aid and medicine to those sick and weary travellers who come to this shrine. Nurture them as Anbella’s Grace nurtures us. Hunting Party - The local woods are filled with game, a hunt can be hosted to honour the gift of food Anbella has given to us, and then a feast is to be hosted with the catch. Though nothing must be wasted, nor the animals can be overhunted. Shrine of Ogradhad’s Wisdom Location: -109 83 -7 A burned-down hut was discovered on the outskirts of Urguan, when explored it was revealed to have been a library. Its librarian was a dwarf who tried to keep the secrets of our kind away from bandits, and in the process, their life was lost. Upon this land, a new shrine to Ogradhad was constructed in his honour. Rites: Book Donation - Ogradhad is the eternal preserver of knowledge, thus whatever knowledge possessed by the dwarven people must be shared between us so that it may be preserved just as Ogradhad guards our collective knowledge. Candle Sorcery - Candles are an essential tool for all scholars to be able to study deep into the night. Divination through the movement of said candles is a popular ritual popularised by the Prophet of Ogradhad, Tuzic Mossborn, who discovered the burned-down library in the first place. Shrine of Grimdugan’s Darkness Location: 84 82 132 With the Mori rising from the darkness, it is now more imperative than ever to properly honour Grimduguan, a Brathmordakin who has been greatly ignored in the history of dwarven worship. A gigantic obsidian dagger glows in the centre of the shrine, may it strike our enemies true. Rites: Darkness Meditation - Step into one of the unlit chambers of the shrine, and completely isolate yourself from outside noises. Allow your mind to enter Grimdugan’s shadow, so that when you open your eyes hidden caves may reveal themselves. After which one may leave an offering of treasure for Grimdugan to add to his hoard. Black water Bathing - Upon excavation, the miners discovered a pool of pure black water. It tastes and has the same properties as normal water, and yet it is pitch black, a clear symbol of Grimdugan’s darkness. Allow it to envelop you, so that the enemies who hide in it, will not be able to see you in their midst. Shrine of Belka’s Tide Location: Boat (ooc: warp) at 1206 68 2021, then 2724 63 2346 With the expulsion of the vile pirates from the Dark Islands, the Urguani navy slowly established bases upon it to prevent their return. A shrine to Belka stands proud and defiant against the island’s constant storms, keeping away dark corsairs and deep monsters away from our ships. Rites: Lightning Calling - Leave offerings of beautiful objects, drinks and seafood to Belka and chant prayer for her to summon divine lightning upon the enemies of Yemekar’s Balance. Tidal Reverly - When the waves are high, and the storms are strong, drink a strong ale and walk along the shore. Show the strength of revelry in you, to enjoy the life the Brathmordakin have given us, even in the most dire of situations. Narvak oz Brathmordakin
  23. Khaz’a’dentrumm ᚲᚺᚨᛉᚨᛞᛖᚾᛏᚱᚢᛗᛗ [Music] “I lay dying on that rock from mid-eve until nightfall, surrounded by the mixed bodies of friend and foe alike. For the better part of the day the sea storms blew salty wind upon my broken body, but as the full moon rose, the clouds parted for the Masked Lord’s alabaster hall to rise above the black sea. If I was to die that day, there would be no other place I would rather die than in the gaze of Dungrimm’s pale moonlight. As my blood spilled onto the cold, wet pebbles of that rocky beach, tangled within the limbs and corpses of slain Dwed, I saw a sight I shall never forget-- for eight shining Dwedlonarri descended upon golden goats from the light of the moon itself. Without wings and without effort, they flew upon the dark firmament to the battlefield. From the body of Dwarf to the body of Dwarf they walked and lifted them whole into their hands, though before my eyes their body remained in pieces on the ground before me. To Agilmar, and Droctbold, and Gangulf did they walk and lifted them up onto the back of their goat, taking the bodies of the Ironborn too with them indiscriminately. And yet, as one passed to me, I saw only blinding moonlight when I gazed upon her face. I remember nothing after this, as I awoke being dragged from under the body of Gangulf, finally found by another crew from da Kirkja Gorix. I knew it was not my time, but that the warriors who died that day would find themselves before the Lord of Death that night.” -The words of Viligast Grimgold, sole survivor of the raid of Tal’Karaave, Age of Blood Artists representation of the Daughters of Dungrimm descending from the moon. There is a place where a soul goes when death finds it-- Khaz’a’dentrumm, the Halls of the Slain. Located high above the mortal realm upon the ivory disk known as the moon. It is here that Dungrimm, Lord of Death and War, holds his court. In these sacred halls the fate of souls are decided, and those who find themselves lacking are cast into Vuur’dor, the Void. There are many interpretations of the guide of the soul to these hallowed halls. Some believe that Dungrimm or Belka serve as the psychopomp of a soul, while others grant it to a lesser divine being, such as the Daughters of Dungrimm or Kjellos. Whatever interpretation of the guide of the soul is correct is of little consequence, as it is what happens within the halls of Dungrimm that bears the most importance. Upon entrance to these halls, one will find themselves surrounded by their friends and family, leading back to their first ancestors. After this greeting, the soul will be called before the throne of Dungrimm and the other Brathmordakin will be summoned to high seats in the hall. The entire life and deeds of the spirit will be judged by Dungrimm, highest of judges, and it will be determined if they have lived their life in accordance with Yemekar's Rhun. Artists representation of Dungrimm before the gates of Khaz'a'dentrumm. If one is found to be worthy, they will be bid upon by the Brathmordakin assembled in what is called the Auction of the Dead. It is the realm of who bids the highest for the soul where the final afterlife of the individual shall be. Brathmordakin are more likely to bid upon the soul of one who lived in accordance with their domain and teachings. Once the auction has been completed, the soul will go to live and serve in the hall of the Brathmordakin of their patronage. If one is found to be lacking, or if as some say their soul is not bid upon by a Brathmordakin, they shall be cast through the gates of Vuur’dor, into the bowels of the Void, where some believe Khorvad lies. What happens once the soul has been cast into the depths of the void is a mystery to us upon the mortal realm. Some believe it is destroyed entirely, others that it is churned and reborn to try again, and some yet still believe they are left to Khorvad’s desires and wishes. All souls will one day find themselves within the halls of judgment, rich or poor, warrior or coward, young or old. In truth, the fate of the souls of foreigners is not known, with some claiming that non-Dwarven souls find themselves in lesser realms upon death. Others still believe that they too will find themselves in Dungrimm’s halls, yet without the teachings of the gods most find themselves cast out into Vuur’dor. Only in death will we know for certain. The date of one’s death is known only to the Brathmordakin, which is why it is important for one to live each day in accordance with Yemekar's Rhun.
  24. [!] A missive would arrive by bird at homes throughout the Grand Kingdom of Urguan... not a door was spared. [!] To arms! In the throngs of the night, and accompanied by a terrible shaking of the earth, Khorvad's servants the Mori have writhed their way under our feet... Now taking hold even within The Deeproads underneath the capital of Kal'Darakaan, seemingly aiming to siege and conquer our grand capital from within... avoiding the defenses of the main entrance. Most menacingly of all however was the beast under control of the Mori, that me and my company gazed upon as we investigated.... a massive centipede... so large it could nearly block the largest deeproad tunnels; and with it, it's spawn in the thousands which we were helpless to watch crawl into every crack and crevice within the caverns... A battle with the foe lies close on the horizon now. As Yemekar's Pick, I call upon all those members of the Workforce to take up the hammers and chisels in defense of the capital! The Deeproads' defenses are few, and ancient by now. As such, I order those who work within the Workforce to ramp up the production of weapons, as well as to seek a meeting with myself, to discuss the efforts at fortification. Siege weapons are to be produced for the defense of the capital, and alchemists and enchanters are ordered to ramp up the production of fire based potions and enchantments to counter the threat. The time for the dwarven kin to unite against the Khorvadic corruption that is the Mori has come, I call upon the legion to hasten it's recruitment and reorganization, as such will be vital in the coming fight... For now it is advised that The Deeproads should be barricaded off, and no soul should venture within... When emplacements are added, such should be done in groups, certainly never alone. In recent times, within the last few years, Urguan has seen its fair share of marriages and young ones born to their kin. It seems only fitting to celebrate in her - Anbella’s honor. This party will celebrate the dwedki that currently fills Urguans streets with joy and wonder. It will celebrate the marriage between Ealisaid Mossborn and Ulfric Frostbeard. It will also extend the celebrations to the to-be newlywed Thrabor and Fia Ireheart. Friends of the dwedmar are welcome to attend the festivities- food and an open bar will be provided, and with the promise of drinking games should anyone be interested.
