THE AURVELDT CONCORDAT Agreed on this 13th of Horen’s Calling, 1837 Between the Holy Orenian Empire and the Principality of Savoy Article I. Restoration of Savoy WHEREAS, the imperial crown is pleased to see the recent restoration of an ancient and faithful realm of humanity, so often a friend to Canondom, and; WHEREAS, the Savoyard title has been throughout history a creation of the Holy Orenian Emperors and the prophetic bloodlines of Ex. Godfrey and Ex. Sigismund; THEREFORE, in the spirit of fraternity between the Canonist realms, the imperial crown does convey--free of all feudal obligations and with full sovereignty and independence--the Savoyard title to Our friend Olivier Renault Ashford de Savoie, that he may be coronated into the office of Prince of Savoy by the willing High Pontiff, and that further this title shall remain with his family for so long as they shall reign over sovereign Savoy. AND FURTHER, as a sign of the imperial crown’s desire for a family of Canonist nations, each alike in dignity, we further convey Cavan, Bar, Junavos, Virdain, Peremont, Lewes, and Caer Rhoswyn, under such terms as Savoy was given. Article II. Recognition WHEREAS, the Fidei Defensor does consider it his obligation to preserve harmony among the several Canonist states, and; WHEREAS, the Savoyard title shall by this concordat be conveyed to a sovereign realm, separate from the imperial throne; THEREFORE, the signatory parties do mutually recognize the existing lines of succession to their respective thrones. AND FURTHER, the Prince of Savoy does recognize the legitimacy of those titles held and in abeyance as they exist in the Holy Orenian Empire, excepting those which have now been conveyed to him by this concordat.
