  1. The Monastery of St. Juli’el of Paradisus — — Est. 1955, the Age of Man — — Built in the year 1930, on the request of Monk Sakuraba, the Monastery has stood the test of time. Over the years it has survived countless attacks from the undead, bandits, and orcs. Under the leadership of Sister Rebecca, a series of major renovations were completed in 1952, leaving the present structure as it is today. Although originally a quiet monastic place, fit for wine making and prayer, the current monastery is a bustling location for faith activity. Under the guidance of Cardinal Rhosyn, the Holy ground has been a place of constant teaching and guidance in the faith. With amenities such as a medical clinic, library, classroom, kitchen, laboratory, and workshop, there are countless ways for the structure to continue to serve the local parish and Canondom as a whole. The monastery’s doors are open to all who come, and tours of the grounds may also be given to those who ask. We hope to stand strong as a bulwark of faith in these trying times. A testament to the work of the Canonist faith, and that GOD has not abandoned His earthly flock. — Tempus fugit, amor manet. — The Monastery currently serves a multitude of missions: The residence of the Julians, also known as the Society of St. Julia of Paradisus. The residence of the Right Reverend, Abbess Rebecca Vordenburg, Vicar of the Diocese of Casica and Superior General of the Julians. The residence of Her Eminence, Prelate of the Clergy, Cardinal Rhosyn of Casica. The office for the examination and ordination to the priesthood. — ~ A view of the Grotto of St. Julia, found whilst renovating the basement. ~ ~ The Hermetic Chapel behind the monastery. Perfect for monastic silence, weddings, or ordinations. ~ — The Society of St. Julia of Paradisus More commonly referred to as the Julians, the purpose of the society is to provide a leadership structure for the care, ministry, and maintenance of the monastery and it’s component grounds. Additionally, the society’s ministry extends to Baking, Alchemy, Exorcism, Manuscripting, Canon Law, Medicine, and many more focused pursuits. The Society is organized based on membership, which is constituted by a monastic or general organization. Superior General: This title is given to the current head of the society. They are the supreme authority for the order. Superior Secunda: This title is given to the second in command to the Superior General. Julian Monastic: This role is for any monk or nun who wishes to live within the monastery and follow its rule. The Monastic Julians are bound under obedience to the Superiors. Julian General: This role is for any priest, monk, nun, knight, dame, layman, etc. who wishes to participate in our mission. Although not bound in obedience to the Superiors, the General Julians are expected to heed their call and recommendations. — —

DUTIES The Abbey, and it's Monasti, serve to fulfil a number of functions beyond the individual, spiritual, obligations of the monastics. These functions primarily serve to aid the wider faithful, as well as the Holy Mother Church, and of course the State. Some such duties, not exclusively, are: (i) Communal prayer on behalf of individuals, families, or nations of the faithful: the monastics will muster together to perform rituals of prayer, beseeching the intercession of Almighty GOD, His Prophets or Saints, on behalf of the faithful. The Monasti can prayer for the safe passing of a loved one, the success of an Emperor in matters of righteous war, the safety of a Canonist peoples undergoing foreign persecution, or another matter deemed appropriate for such a holy ceremony. This act of faith is not exclusive to Emperors and Dukes however, as the Monasti will perform such rites even for the lowliest of peasants. (ii) Acts of charity, inkeeping with Blessed Seraphim's institution of monastic-giving: the monastics will provide the poor and wretched with a place to stay, bread and food, or teachings in the way of Canonism. These acts are not the sole duty of Monastics, but a secondary function, and as such the regular occurrence of this charity will be limited to the discretion of individual monasti and their Abbot. (iii) Missionary work: the Monasti will travel to foreign lands in search of converts to the blessed faith of Canonism. Often risking life and limb for such ventures, the Monasti should fear not death, for they are dead to the world. (iv) Negotiating the release of Canonist hostages held by heathens and heretics: the Monasti will intercede on behalf of Canonists who have fallen prey to heathen or heretical hostage-takers, acting as the middle-men for the safe return of the faithful from barbarous hands.
