SUTICA: A GHOST TOWN OPERATION: SUTICAN STORM Issued on 12th of The First Seed, Y24 of the Second Age Kha'rasi Oasis sunrays beamed in hot golden light upon the black and bronze of two combined armies, Haelun'orian and Elvenessi. Clouds of dust washed the once-untarnished blue horizon of Sutica's capital region in the wake of 'thill and 'ame on the march, and before one could blink would they find the conjoined armies sweeping the city. The gates were captured, the city square and marketplace made pure. The army of the Free-no-longer State of Sutica watched in horror ... but not behind shield, not with blade in-hand -- for they hid within their homes, cowering at the sight of mighty Haelun'orian steel and glistening Elvenessi bronze! The city bells rang and rang at the hand of a troubled citizen, but no-one answered. Cowards, they are! Craven to their Sovereign State! What is free when one can not maintain law and order? Soldiers marched the empty streets of Sutica, searching for men to fight -- begging for soldiers to fight. Where art thou, craven dogs? Pigeon-hearted fiends and dastardly impure creatures, you flee to your sewer-holes and hide behind the grates of storm drains, and we raise the flag of Haelun'or atop your very walls! So much for the renowned city of trade. Know this now that we will not let up. Your cowering with tail tucked between your legs will not bore us into submission. We will not relent. We will not stop. Not until the reparations for the snake-like tendencies of the Sutican, to sow dissent between the Elven races and destroy the coalition of Dwarves and Elves upon the Southern seaboard, have been rendered. The Trade State of Sutica has 1 year’s worth of time, from this date onward to pay the demands sought after by the Silver Council of Haelun'or and the government of the Silver State of Haelun'or, or more grievous actions shall be taken. The following demands will be met: 2500 mina to the Haelun'orian Treasury. 1500 mina to the Elvenessi as compensation for making empty threats. 640 units of ferrum ingots to the Haelun'orian Sillumiran. The Trade State of Sutica will issue a formal apology to the Elvenessi Crown. 10 full suits of ferrum chainmail armor, 10 ferrum longswords, 5 maple shortbows, and 320 units of arrows.
