  1. Dust and weird colored particles stain these tightly organized chapter. A strong smell of pure alcohol and burnt leaves comes when turning these pages. Extraction Tests (Phase 1 to 5) 1-Air Symbols Extraction (Nightglow) I turned on the stove and put a large copper dish, with a grill on it, on the fire. Then I spreaded evenly the Nightglow bundle on the grill, and waited for it to dry completely, watching closely the fire to prevent it from cooking or burning. As the nightglow dried, I transferred it in my trusty turquoise mortar, and crushed it without grinding it too fine, leaving a thic blue powder in the process. After the crushing, I took a clean glass jar, and put the powder inside it. I sealed the jar hole with elastic cured goat belly and hard wax, then pushed the belly inward to compress the powder and pulled outward after to decompress, lifting the powder still inside the jar. I opened a bellow side an put the bellow side and put the volatile powder inside, making sure no leaks happened, and blowed the bellow in front of him, releasing the particles in the air. I then precisely arranged the particles with small tweezers in three distinct patterns close to each other. Symbols: Light x3 Swiftness x2 Peace x2 2-Fire Symbols Extraction (Blood Lotus) I turned on the stove and put a large copper dish, with a grill on it, on the fire. Then I spreaded evenly the Blood Lotus bundle on the grill, and waited for it to dry completely, watching closely the fire to prevent it from cooking or burning. Once dried, I chopped the herb with a kitchen knife until the consistency of sawdust, then transfered the reddish powder into a cast iron wok. I set the powder on fire with some wood shavings and a flint and steel, and waited until it turned all to pink ash. I then used a heat resistant tweezer and wore leather gloves to pick out the symbols and arranged them in 3 different bonfire-like piles. Symbols: Strenght x3 Vigour x2 Rigidity x2 3-Earth Symbols Extraction (Diddyfunkle) (note to myself: this was surprysingly the shortest description but with the longer process, because I messed up many times before reaching the desired powder consistency) I grinded the Diddyfunkles with my mortal and pestle with a half-ratio of salt equivalent to it, until left with a rough powder of salt and crushed flowers. I then carefully sieved the powder to separate the salt from the Diddyfunkles, until i was left with 4 differnt chunks of symbols. Symbols: Dark x3 Lethargy x1 Poison x2 Fear x2 4-Water Symbols Extraction (Mandragora) I prepared a large bowl and filled it with distilled water, then put the mandragoras there and left them submerged until fully soaked. I then crushed the roots with a flat rock on a cutting board, until i was left with a mushy (and stinky) paste. I spreaded the paste evenly and thinly in a large copper plate, and left it there for a full day, until it was fully dry. I was left with 4 irregular sheets with the symbols in it. Symbols: Separation x1 Impedement x3 Fear x2 Lethargy x1 5-Aether Symbols Extraction (Ponderlot) I finely cut the Ponderlots with a halfmoon knife, then put it in an aurum mortar from the alchemy lab, and crushed it into a fine powder. A pot filled with acqua vitae was preapared and put to simmer with the whiteish powder inside, until fully saturated and turned into a dense liquid. The liquid was then filtered until only the powder was left. I then put the powder to boil, until the liquid evaporated, and finally arranged the 4 different symbols into separated petri dishes. Symbols: Clarity x3 Chaos x2 Rage x2 Sound x1
  2. Pages are torn and scattered together, full of unintelligible scribbles and unfinished phrases Notes on Project Date: Unknown I FINALLY DID IT! Well, sort of... At first I tried following Silth's advice, and went looking for an evil ghost to slay, but unfortulatley i'm not a strong enough lutamancer and not experienced enough to try. I travelled looking for an alchemist that could have sold one, but with no avail... So I went fishing. Sorry readers, I'm so exausted I forgot to explain myself: for my project I need a way to see through objects, and my current method does not produce a clear enough image of the separated layers, so i asked for some guidance and Silth suggested to use ectoplams, i guess because ghost are pretty much see-through, so by using it I would have also made my target object see-through. My few years of fishing now brought me to discover various different fishes, crustaceans and other sea critters that share a similar see-through ability, that can make them camouflage in plain sight in the deep sea. I considered using land animals, but frogs (glass frogs to be exact) are only amphibian and cannot stay underwater for very long, and obviously butterflies (the glasswing butterfly type) cannot survive in water. So, as I was writing, I went fishing, and tried to use a lot of different species, including but not limited to jellifishes (those stingy sea moppers..), glass squids, baby octopuses, cleaner shrimps. But in the end, there was one creature to do the job: the barreleye fish, the only one that surprisingly had a reaction to the separation of layers. it turn out his eyes are the key, as they are "inside" their head, like a closed transparent helmet, and when the immobilised fish eyes met the ray of light, it scattered through the prism, and projected sort-of-clear images. they are a little wobbly as if they are underwater and seen from outside the surface, but otherwise the borders are clean and the image is barely colored (notes on accentuating the color? may be needed for medical application). I spent months fishing without stopping and testing the fish, I need to sleep, and a shower, and...[the notes there stop, as the pen trail goes wild on the pages, along with some signs of drooling and sleeping on the page.]
  3. these are extract from notes of Fagh's current project. The pages look soaked and a bit transparent Notes on Project 6th of The Amber Cold SA 163 My experiments on my project are reaching a dead end. Silth recommended me to start working alone on this project, and it's been very stimulating so far: I want to create a tool, or something, that lets others see inside of a living body without cutting it up. The basic theory I have for now about it is this: if I need to see through something, I might have to imagine it like made of glass, or transparent like a ghost. The problem is, how to manifest that transparency? I did some more simple experiment with inanimate objects: If I have, for example, an rough and sanded piece of glass (that cannot be seen through), and I put it in water, then it becomes see-through, but normal water for normal living beings won't work. I investigated the usage of water to separate and dissect, and found for example that a ray of bright light (i mixed blue red and green fire to achieve a white light) that passes through a prism full of water becomes divided into all the spectrum of colors seeable by uruks and descendants. The next step after this discovery, is changing that beam of life with a normal inanimate object, and that prism with something more complex to separate each layer of the object. Now, the problem is that the objest is indeed separated, but just by its colors, and not its substance and structural composition. I'd also need in the future to make it more portable and compact, compared to the entire dark room i need to use for now. I need to share these results with my teacher and ask him for some guidance. A small sketch of the usual objects used in the purified water jar as a footnote, there's written in a small font: Note: Some herbs to use to hallucinate? Viable?
  4. Beneath the Bark - An Anthropological Study of Wood Elves ____ By Krenanteon Stolt’aroloth ____ Forward “To study the world is the joy of living.” Those are the words of yours truly, the renowned writer and intellectual Krenanteon Stolt’aroloth. While the pursuit of knowledge, both deep and near, is my goal within this strange mortal coil, there is one topic which has always fascinated me beyond all. Since my days as a small icicle, the nature of the primitive wood elf filled my cranium with bountiful curiosity. Thus, five years ago I decided to finally study these puzzling creatures in a depth that previously lay undiscovered by outsiders of their culture. Living among the wood elves and deeply immersing myself within their habitat, I observed them closely. What follows are my findings. Physiology The wood elf is a “creature” whose name is apt. Born from seed, these nymphs of the forest bloom under the supple teat of the sun, relying on the blue milk of the earth to blossom away from the muck in which they were implanted. This development process of the Mali’ame, however, like that of most primitive beings, is a slow one. It begins with the growth of seed within a male ‘ame’s hair. Each spring, there is a chance of such phenomena occurring. However, being (debatably) of the mali taxonomy, and so cursed with infertility, this phenomena is one that is exceedingly rare. If, by slim chance, a wood elf of the male variety does find an earthy kernel within his plumage, he treats it with care until reaching a ripened white state. This is a crucial stage that often ends in catastrophe, given the reckless demeanor of the male wood elf. Although, once in a green moon, the seed is not treated haphazardly and is able to ripen. When this occurs, the male plucks the pearl from its brown, keratinous branch and begins his search for a suitable “mate”. If a female is willing, she takes the seed and places it in her belly button. The seed then sits in this cavern for a number of days, given a regular watering from its new host until it finally germinates. Once the initial sprouting has started, the seed is fished out of the belly button and is brought to a suitable place in the soil. Typically, wood elven parents elect to plant their seed within their home garden. It is here that the final, and longest, stage of their development occurs. Growing in the dirt, the mother and father care for the seedling, giving it ample water and sunlight. Through such gentle nurture, they sprout what the layman would define as elven features. After many months, pointy ears, pointy faces, and all manner of limbs bud from their spriggy stem, coming to resemble the typical wood elven form that we all know. But what lies within this elvenoid exterior that we claim to know? While many a critter of the realm gain their vitality through the thick red ichor most commonly referred to as “blood,” the same cannot be said of our woodland “kin.” Like all trees born of seed and dirt, the wood elf is composed of wood. This, however, does not mean that he or she is less vulnerable. They too contain bits on the inside that need to stay on the inside. Planty fibers drive their movements and organs of cellulose maintain a natural order within their husk. However, none of these internals can function without the life-giving sap that runs through their bodies. This sweet, viscous syrup pools through the spongy mesophyll, pumping in and out of their vital sacs, making the bodies function (application of this syrup upon breakfast cakes is at the reader's own discretion). As it must fill all areas of their form, the sap flows close to the surface of the wood elf, allowing them to be easily tapped. Much like blood, loss of this syrup proves catastrophic to the wood elf, leading to a quick death. Thus, the vitality of the wood elf is balanced on the edge of a knife by this arguably delectable fluid. Behavior Being a creature of wood and bark, the Mali’ame is highly susceptible to most types of damage. Sharp and pointy objects like swords and axes cleave easily through their oaken flesh. This is commonly demonstrated by the lumbermen of the forest. Moreover, if not properly hydrated, the wood elf is highly flammable, able to combust in seconds when in the close presence of fire (See appendices for data). For these reasons, the wood elf has a deep and innate sense of cowardice which compels him or her to nearly always run away from a fight. However, this is not always possible. At times, a woodland sprite may have no choice, and in deep internal conflict with its own nature, it must engage in battle. Given that loss of bodily fluids is a concern, it is starkly important that animals have the ability to defend themselves. The elves of the trees, however, are composed of dense, woody fibers that are stiff and difficult to move. Thus, they are neither agile nor quick on their feet, holding a significant disadvantage on the battlefield as a result. While this dense limb composition may allow them to lift a weapon with relative ease, the stiffness of their woody tissue does not allow them to move the blade effectively. For this reason, a wood elf will never engage in a duel with another race of mali, choosing only to fight in great numbers to make up for their significant lack of skill. Similarly, the weak physical makeup of the wood elf has resulted in the development of a constant state of hiding. These wood nymphs lock themselves away in shambling villages barricaded by mountains and trees, keeping their gates under lock and key at all times due to their constant fear of the vastly superior beings of the continent. This cowardly and distrustful behavior, however, has seemingly made them a bigger, and more sporting, target for said beings. Religion and Druidism In terms of religious affairs, the ‘ame people worship a grouping of fictitious and blasphemous “gods” known as the Aspects. In the name of these false idols, they carve large wooden statues and conduct strange rites atop tall hills. Strangely, despite the wood elves’ innate weakness to flame, part of these rites involves the construction of large pyres in which to dance around in a primal fashion. In groups, they skip and bound in circles round the fire, chanting strange phrases. While in Elvenesse, I witnessed several ‘ame perish to these fires amidst their dance rituals, and it remains unclear as to whether this is an intentional (albeit in vain given the falsities of their “gods”) sacrifice, or whether they simply jigged too near to the flames. A foolish move for a foolish people. The worship of these so-called gods holds close ties to a heathen magical practice known most commonly as “Druidism.” These druids adopt the primal rites of the Aspects in the use of heretical ceremonies as a means of conjuring magics, hexes, jinxes, obeahs, voodoos, hoodoos, snoodoos, and the like. Given the falsity of their deities, the enchantments of such wiccans are likely little more than parlour tricks. However, the intent of any magical rite or incantation is a foul thing that breeds foul things. Thus, caution should be warranted around those that practice such depravities. Language While today it is true that these “elves” speak the same tongue as their “fellow” mali, through careful and stunningly accurate observation, it became inescapably evident that there is more. Before adopting the dialect of higher beings, the Mali’ame developed a form of speaking that was entirely their own. After months of deep immersion into their twiggen culture, I began to see flickers and glimpses of this communication, which can only be described here as primitive, insulting, and a bit rhombus. Hiding from the cover of the scratchy underbrush, I was fortunate enough to witness an “interaction” between two “elves” of the woodland complexion, the like of which I doubt has been seen by a more advanced creature for thousands of years. What I witnessed appeared to be an exchange of odd, guttural grunts that were highly offensive to the ear. It was not for many moments until it became apparent that these grunts actually held some form of “meaning” behind them. Not only that, but the language seemed to stem beyond mere throated yarps, and in fact, included motions of the hands and feet. Strange combinations of tapping, kicking, and crossing of limbs seemed to coincide with brash facial emotions, in tide with specific grunts and gurgles from deep within their woodpipes. An oral/visual language form! I have taken to calling it “barking.” What follows are interpretative meanings of the observed expressions: Hello: “Hgurgh!” + wave Goodbye: “Ggurgh!” + wave Yes: “Ygurgh!” + nodding + clapping hands No: “Ngurgh!” + shaking head violently + stomping + optional slapping of peer Tree: “Tgurgh!” + wide eyes + waving of both hands up + widened stance Leaf: “Lgurgh!” + wiggly fingers tapping forearm Fruit: “Fgurgh!” + Salivation + Enclosed fists clanking together Banana: “Bgurgh!” + look of excitement + wide eyes + pounding chest Appendix I. Wood Elven “Tapping” - Tree taps were inserted into the bark of 5 wood elven subjects - Only half inch tap was required to gain adequate sap flow - Average of 10 minutes to drain all sap - Average of 11 pints measured II. 5. ON THE METHOD OF SCIENTIFIC THINKERS By: April Vallei’onn 3rd of The First Seed, 5 SA "The First step towards being a scientist is thinking like one," - An unknown scholar towards his apprentice. Many yearn to be able to create meaningful progress within their lifetimes. To the unskilled eye, science is only found where those who study it reside- within the laboratories and classrooms. This assumption however, is completely wrong as science is quite literally all around us- in cooking, in the lanterns used to light our abodes, even in the very fabric that we wear. One of inquisitive thought might ask how this all came to be as they notice the practices of the past and progression of the present into the future. The answer is through trial and error, but how does one create progress and significant thought? Among the great engineers, scientists and scholars lies a striking similarity in thought, despite the various differences in practices. If one was to look into the mind of a scholarly being, they would find a mind filled with logic and reason. Order within experimentation. I find that there are many intricate steps and obstructions for discovery that could be perhaps avoided with the correct documentation and thinking. At that, I, April Vallei’onn am proud to share my personal method used in my own investigations and personal queries. THE INTELLECTUAL PROCESS This intellectual process can be loosely defined as an outline to creation. It refers to the thinking and reasoning skills of those with intellectual minds in terms of scientific discovery. In short, the method and process incorporates a variety of thinking skills such as: reasoning , deduction, logicsism , research and estimation and inference. One must be attentive and possess a desire- perhaps even a craving to answer the question that has formed. Basic steps, more elaborated below flow as such: STEP NO.1 - Come up with the initial occurrence to be answered. → Make sure it is logical, and come up with variations. Make sure you are truly interested and willing to pull through. Your occurrence should be something yet to be proved. STEP NO. 2 - Background research. → Go into lengthy research about how to go about your topic. In addition to having a general education about your question, research any possible solutions, past experiments, necessary tools , ect. It is crucial to research every part of your clause, lest you wish to not understand when something goes wrong. STEP NO. 3 - Come up with a hypothesis/theory. → After in depth research, be sure to come up with a logical hypothesis on how to solve your problem, or a clause of a discovery. STEP NO. 4 - Come up with a procedure and experiment. → With your hypothesis in mind, create a logical and measurable experiment to prove your theory. This should go without saying, but write down every single thing from your research, even seemingly meaningless things such as date, time, weather, ect. STEP NO. 5 - Draw your Conclusion. → Did your procedure go how you thought would? What did your hypothesis state? The steps to create a logical and factually correct answer somewhat varies based on the context of the question needed to be answered. For example, something of astronomy and cosmetology might be necessarily harder to factualize than something of mathematics or engineering, as we do not yet have the tools to shoot ourselves up into the Celestial plane. One must be able to think about exactly what they are studying- not just the facts needed to solve it. Facts are achieved through a tradeoff: Tools and knowledge. An easy way to think about this basic setup is to put it into something seemingly mundane. Fancy yourself a humble baker in your hometown or city, be it elCihi’thilln, Karosgrad, Providence, Elvenesse ect. A mediocre baker at best. You’ve all the ingredients and tools necessary and perhaps extra to create an amazing pastry- something nothing created before. Despite possessing the physical tools, the baker lacks the knowledge of basic pastry making- of how high of temperature to place the oven on and how long. This, in turn could turn into something unwanted, or perhaps disaster. Likewise, it hypothetically could turn up into something tasty. STEP ONE: FORMING THAT IDEA “A mali’thill coming up with his hypothesis” - Unknown Art The first step towards a discovery of any sort is to obviously come up with that of the original query. The Question- the basis of all discovery, to wonder to go on to therein prove. One step from where most stop: wondering. Here at the very first step, one must consider the following: → Has my question already been answered? → Can whatever I wish to prove be reasonably measured? With this in mind, you have your question. Write it down. This perhaps, is the most easiest of the steps. Some would even write multiple versions of the question down, if experimentation later on leads onto such. STEP TWO: BACKGROUND RESEARCH Though some scholars would argue that the method of creating a hypothesis before research is best, I beg to differ. Through initial research, one could discover something imperative that they might otherwise not find: one example being that their clause is either solved or entirely false. I would always start out my research by the following: → Past Experiments done → General History on your topic → Structure of the tools you wish to use in your procedure → Safety measures, always have a plan B incase something goes wrong → Possible hypothesis → Information that is logical and factual This should go without saying, but record everything, including the faults of the past lest you wish to repeat them. STEP THREE: CREATING A HYPOTHESIS To those ignorant, a hypothesis can be defined as a solution to an unidentified occurrence, not yet backed up by scientific fact. The road to create a logical hypothesis should be based within reason- based on factually correct notions. When creating your theory, you must be able to word it correctly. Never word it as a question as you are trying to prove it true-but neither word it as an infallible fact , as it must be proven through experimentation first. You are simply making an educated guess before proving it. A rough outline of this would be like the following: → If ______, Then _______ because __________. → We will know this is true when ____________ happens because _______. This sort of thing should only be used for single experiments, if your hypothesis is proved true by your experimentation later one, I would strongly recommend to start back at step ⅔ for your next steps- lest you are all done. One must always keep in mind the following whilst creating a reasonable theory: → Can this be measured? → Is my hypothesis based on some sort of proved factuality? → Make your hypothesis clear. STEP FOUR: CARRYING OUT YOUR PROCEDURE Once you have come up with a plausible theory, you must find a way to prove it: Through experimentation, the first step being designing your procedure of course. Your way of experimentation will of course vary from topic to topic, person to person. Although I can not offer insight in every experiment to be designed and carried out, I can offer the following steps: → Designing your experiment. → This is quite self explanatory as well. Be sure to have prior knowledge of the experiments of the past and their faults and correctness. Know your variable and Constant, and how you plan to measure your findings. → Carrying out your experiment → Always have a backup plan when doing lengthy , risky experiments, lest something goes very wrong. → Writing down your steps. → Once more, this is quite self explanatory. Write down EVERYTHING. STEP FIVE: DRAWING YOUR CONCLUSION You’ve completed your experiment. Was it successful? Was it a failure? Why? If Successful: → Congratulations, you have either proven or created fact. At this point, you can either A) conclude and perhaps even publish your findings or B) go back to step no.3 and create another hypothesis , perhaps to prove something even greater than what you have already proved. Science, overall is an everlasting cycle of progression If a failure: → Why was it a failure? What step did you go wrong at? Write all of this down. Go back to step no.3 or perhaps even no. 2. Your hypothesis was proven wrong so if you wish to continue with your findings, you must create another hypothesis based on logical fact. What did you learn from this? Even if you learned what not to do. GLOSSARY → Hypothesis: A claim created based on factual evidence to further prove an unexplained occurrence. → Factual: Based on fact- already proven. → Logical: Characterized by the rules of logic- that being something that explains what something else is. → Constant: A part that does not change during an experiment or procedure. → Variant: A part that does change during an experiment or procedure.

  7. The Astronomers’ Guild "Nullius in verba" Structure The Worshipful Guild of Astronomers is liberally structured, the supposed “ranks” of the Guild only exist for governance purposes and defining students and professionals. The Celestial Synod The governing body of masterful and adept Astronomers and Stargazers of the Guild. An unlimited number of Astronomers can be appointed to the Synod, however; they must first be elected by the sitting Synod. Head of the Synod is the Guild Master who is the elected leader of the Astronomers’ Guild who oversees the political and administrative side of the Guild. Affiliates Full members of the Guild, Affiliates are those who have been trained in the basics of celestial observation and qualified to work alongside the adepts of the Synod, and carry out their own independent research. Novitiates Those who have just pledged their minds to the science of the heavens. Novitiates are tasked with assisting Affiliates and Synod adepts with their research and doing other various chores for the Guild’s betterment. Studies The Guild of Astronomers inquires about an array of subjects. Not only do we look into the heavens and beyond but also what principles that drive these celestial movements. Such questions as: What is darkness and light? Where is heaven and the nether realm? What causes weather? and other topics pertaining to the mystical spheres as well. Students will be introduced to the preparatory basics of the empyrean realm as they assist the more adept astronomers in their own studies. All research is accessible by the public eye for use and further inquiry, the Guild serves to only discover and educate, not manipulate. Consorting Any who desire may become a scholar of the wandering bodies, they need simply inquire below with the following letters: Name:((MC Name)):Any prior expertise in astronomy or other sciences? The applicant will be contacted post haste to meet a member of the Celestial Synod for further questioning as to where one might fit within the Guild. Note, however, that while all of the decendents’ children are free to educate themselves on the skies, not all are eligible to join the Guild. The Guild was founded for the explicit purpose of like minded, and “High” minded individuals to discover the greater mysteries. A certain mental maturity and prowess is required to join the Guild, though all are still welcome to frequent the Guild should they have their own discoveries or ideas to discuss.
  8. Hello LotC, now before you look at the title and tags and go "ASDFJKL; TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT IN LOTC? PREPOSTEROUS!", this post isn't to say that there should be vast technological advancement that turns this server into something more modernized, please read all of the text before jumping to a conclusion or asking a question, as the likelihood is that the question will be answered further on in the text, thank you. Also if something new regarding this topic has happened on the server (I haven't been on in awhile), please inform me so I can get this post deleted, thanks. Science in LotC, good or bad? Mose people would probably say "bad" as the term science on the server is used almost synonymously with "technological advancement". I honestly feel that the addition of sciences (i.e physics, biology, etc. etc.) would drive a new branch of RP; one of which that doesn't revolve around uprisings, magic, or anything generally viewed as fun (sarcasm). Now let's get onto what things could happen with Science. New technology Oh boy, this one again, technology. I honestly feel that adding advancing technology in LotC wouldn't be a bad thing, AS LONG AS THERE'S A LIMIT to what can be done. For instance: "Hey, check out this new bridge I can build now thanks to the addition of physics on the server!" and things of the like. Science has been a major facet in a majority of the things (especially weapons) that go into Lord of the Craft. For instance: crossbows and bridges. Someone couldn't possibly just go "hey, I'm gonna like take the design of the bow and just invert it and put it on a wood block" and actually make an effective weapon out of such a wanton desicion. Math and science would've had to go into the mechanics of the way a projectile is shot, the velocity behind the projectile, and even the projectile itself. With the addition of sciences and technological advancements, things like that could happen, where new crossbows are invented, stronger seige weapons (since those are usually only for war rp purposes with a GM present, making advancements on those would only affect the war side of RP), newer medicines, and the sort. But everthing in moderation. Is there a solution? Short answer: yes. Long answer: most definitely. I feel that if we were to be more in-depth with what players are and are not allowed to technologically innovate (for example, no firearms), we could add a whole new side to rp. And for those asking "well why couldn't we innovate new ways of power and how to use it? people could just be making giant metal robots that run on vegetable oil", well it's simple. As of what is currently possible with Steam power (ask an LM for more details about that) is all that is possible with steam power, we cannot make it any more efficient than it already is, same with any other form of power on the server. Also, I would reccommend that in order to make roleplay even more fair, we take out a majority of the things commonly known in the scientific world today (for example, the knowledge of gravity and forces, [newton's laws] etc. etc.) and make the new batch of RP'ers for science figure all that stuff out in-character. Also, the LM's could team up with the GM's to make specific guidelines for as to what can and cannot be advanced technologically (yes, that means no laser swords or giant mechanical walking war machines that fire out kittens). And that's my spiel. Please post your opinion of the matter, and if you think I'm completely wrong and totally stupid for posting this, please post on here about that as well. Thanks for your time LotC, stay cool.
  9. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Background ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The Endeavour in Anthos (Some Refits May Apply) [[PLEASE READ ALL THE SPOILERS]] *~*~*~*~*~*~* Note from Captain Pandora: The Endeavour is devoted to performing it’s original mission: exploring and adventuring through strange new islands and locations, and keeping the peace of the seas against the Pirate Scum. We’re currently in need of crew members of many different skill sets, however, to operate the ship and assist in our travels… Though it isn’t fully repaired yet ((Aka: MCly rebuilt)), we are well on our way to becoming seaworthy again. At this point, though, I deem that it would be prudent to begin to recruit new members. You DO NOT need to be a full-time crewmember of this fine ship; I understand that the periods between battling pirates, reviewing expidition findings, and performing other Endeavour tasks can be quite dull; rather, you may also be a part-time member. While sailing or on Endeavour business , you are required to wear your uniform. However, while off-duty, you are not held to such restrictions. In the future, we may also get a land outpost to base our more bulky scientific and engineering experiments, as well as provide a place to stretch our legs. Though men and women of all races will be treated equally aboard the Endeavour, we will have a heiarchy that goes as follows: HIERARCHY We also have a list of three simple rules that we follow: --Evil activities will lead to expulsion. --Superiors will be respected and obeyed, so long as their orders are reasonable. --The laws of whatever nation we're docked in are to be respected whilst in that same nation. The application to join the crew of the G.R.S Endeavour lies below. Please send it off to me if you wish to join; if accepted, I shall send you a letter and a uniform. APPLICATION UNIFORMS Pax Gallmoria, and good evening.
