  2. Ad Laborem Yevgeny Bogdanovich Krestyanik Acolyte in the Patriarchate of Jorenus Brothers and Sister in Godan, I am a simple man, a fallible man, from the Duchy of Valwyck. Yet even in the far corners of Canondom, I learned my letters and numbers from the Holy Scrolls. But I also learned the Word of Godan through my everyday labor. For it is when one toils to one’s fullest capacity in labor towards Godan’s creation that one can truly feel the Word of Godan in their being. That labor is virtuous is no novel revelation. In the Scroll of Virtue, it is written “For I have blessed you with My miracle of creation, and you shall draw nearer to My throne by your labors. And you shall discover strength of heart as you work the forge and the plow.” [Scroll of Virtue 4: 6-7]. The passage that follows in the Canticle of Diligence also shows that to fail to labor at all, to exist in a state of Sloth, is to not act in Godan’s image for “So I am the Most High, and in pursuit of My Virtue, I bid my faithful this: You shall not be idle, nor forget your duties in favor of sloth.” [Scroll of Virtue 4: 8]. It is clear from this Canticle that Godan calls upon us to labor in our station, in his Virtuous image. As clearly stated in the Epistle to the Elves [Scroll of Spirit 4:3-5], labor extends beyond plowing the fields or working the forge. For just as it is righteous to toil in the fields, harvesting vegetation and fruit bearing trees, it is just as righteous to sell goods in the market or lay the brick in the city street. For through righteous, virtuous labor, we bring ourselves closer to Godan. Therefore, the labors of the farmer or knight, merchant or master, all are righteous before Godan and equal in Virtue when pursued to the fullest extent of their capacity [Scroll of Virtue 6: 6-7]. Righteous labor and Void-damned sloth. It would appear to be a dichotomy. One may either labor, or not. Yet what is the spiritual state of one who labors, and therefore is not slothful, yet doth not labor to the fullest extent of their capacities? For though their hands are not idle, their hearts are not fully joyous with the worship of labor in honor of Godan. Is the Labor of a Farmer who plows all his fields to their fullest, so that his poorer neighbors might glean from his harvest in charitable spirit not closer to the image of Godan than the Farmer who plows only enough so that he and he alone might eat? For not only are we called to Diligence, but we also are called to Charity [Scroll of Virtue 2: 1-11]. Yet when one only toils enough to satiate themselves, to do the minimum, do they not reduce their own capacity for charity? Therefore, I beseech thee all to consider the words of this Brother in Faith from Valwyck, that you might fully apply yourself in your labors before Godan, be you farmer or knight, merchant or master. For it is only through the fullest application of ourselves in labor in this World that we can hope to achieve our position in the Skies.
  3. A THESIS ON CRUCIFIXION, JUDGEMENT AND SPIRITUAL PRIDE “So I am the Most High, and in pursuit of My Virtue, I bid my faithful this: You shall not raise a hand in wrath, nor in envy, nor in any kind of sin.” (Virtue 4:9) Szczęść Boże. We have in recent times heard of it often, crucifixion, a method of capital punishment whereby one is tied to a large wooden beam and left to hang until death in excruciating pain, its perpetrators intend on providing the victim with a death that is particularly slow, painful, gruesome, humiliating, and public all at once. It is a most cruel and disgusting punishment to be levied upon one’s body, the length of time required to reach death ranging from hours to days depending on the method, the victim’s health and environment. It is, however, not only a cruel and disgusting practice but can also wholeheartedly be considered as heretical and in this thesis I aim to answer why and how such can be tied to spiritual pride. Those perpetrators who judge others and condemn them to death in such cruel fashion believe themselves to be doing the work of God, bringing about His wrath onto the mortal plane. But a man can know nothing about the judgments of God. He alone is the one who takes account of all and is able to judge the hearts of each one of us, as He alone is our Master. Truly it happens that a man may do a certain thing which seems to be wrong out of simplicity, and there may be something about it which makes more amends to God than your whole life; how are you going to sit in judgment and constrict your own soul? And should it happen that he has fallen away, how do you know how much and how well he fought; how much blood he sweated before he did it? Perhaps so little fault can be found in him that God can look on his action as if it were just, for God looks on his labor and all the struggle he had before he did it, and has pity on him. And do you know this, and what God has spared him for? Are you going to condemn him for this and ruin your own soul? And how do you know what tears he has shed about it before God? You may well know about the sin but do you not know about the repentance? To judge sins is the business of one who is sinless, but who is sinless except God? Whoever thinks about the multitude of his own sins in his heart never wants to make the sins of others a topic of conversation. To judge a man who has gone astray is a sign of pride, and God resists the proud. Every man on earth is sick with the fever of sin and is overcome with its fury. As sins consist mostly of malice and pride, it is necessary to treat everyone who suffers from the malady of sin with kindness and love. Very often we act in the opposite manner: we add malice to malice by our anger, we oppose pride with pride. Thus, evil grows within us and does not decrease; it is not cured – rather it spreads. We must not judge, and we must certainly not play God by judging others to death in His name. We are told in the Canticle of Humility in the Scroll of Virtue that we cannot judge our own virtue, for all fall short of Him. How then is it possible that we might judge others? Humility is the art of descending into yourself and remaining there. All sins are repulsive before God, but the most repulsive of all is pride of the heart. Do not consider yourself learned and wise; otherwise, all your efforts will be destroyed, and your boat will reach the harbor empty. If you have great authority, do not threaten anyone with death. Know that, according to nature, you too are susceptible to death, and that every soul sheds its body as its final garment. If you believe what you like about the Word of God, and reject what you don’t like, it is not God you believe, but yourself. He who is his own master is a scholar under a fool. Signed, Father Fiodor
  4. AN ACOLYTE’S THESIS ON HUMILITY "So I am the Most High, and in pursuit of My Virtue, I bid my faithful this: You shall not judge your own virtue, be it great or small, for all fall short of me, and I am the Lord GOD without peer, and My power is the only power, and My eternity is the only eternity, and all the aeons of the Virtue shall sustain the righteous." (Virtue 7:8-9) Nothing is more opposed to God than pride, for self-deification is concealed in it, its own nothingness or sin. Thus more than anything humility is acceptable to God, which considers itself nothing, and attributes all goodness, honor, and glory to God alone. Pride does not accept grace, because it is full of itself, while humility easily accepts grace, because it is free from itself, and from all that is created. God creates out of nothing. As long as we think that we can offer something of ourselves, He does not begin His work in us. Humility is the salt of virtue. As salt gives flavor to food, so humility gives perfection to virtue. Without salt, food goes bad easily, and without humility, virtue is easily spoiled by pride, vainglory, impatience - and it perishes. There is a humility which a man gains by his own struggles: knowing his own insufficiency, accusing himself for his failings, not allowing himself to judge others. And there is a humility into which God leads a man through the things that happen to him: allowing him to experience afflictions, humiliations, and deprivations. Humility consists in considering oneself to be nothing in all circumstances, cutting off one's will in all things, accusing oneself of everything, and bearing without confusion that which befalls him from without. Such is true humility, in which vainglory finds no place. A humble man doesn't need to try to show his humility in words, nor does he need to make himself do humble deeds, for both of these lead to vainglory, hinder progress, and cause more harm than good. But when they command anything, it is necessary not to contradict, but to fulfill it with obedience. This is what leads to success. As water and fire oppose one another when combined, so are self-justification and humility opposed to one another. Some suffer much from poverty and sickness, but are not humbled, and so they suffer without profit. But one who is humbled will be happy in all circumstances, because the Lord is his riches and joy, and all people will wonder at the beauty of his soul. Signed, Acolyte Fiodor
  5. AN ACOLYTE’S THESIS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE LIVES OF THE SAINTS In the Holy Mother Church, we are each called to learn about the saints. We tend to quote their sayings and are encouraged to study the lives of all the saints who have gone before us. But have we ever taken a moment to consider why we are encouraged to do this? Have we ever taken a moment to consider what value there could possibly be in learning about the life of someone who lived so many years before us? In this thesis I aim to stress the importance of studying the Lives of the Saints or Legenda Sanctorum thoroughly by answering said question. By reading the Lives of the Saints we can see they struggled too, we can observe the ways in which the saints succeeded (and at times failed) and learn from them. What is important is not victory or the position of a victor, but rather the labor of striving towards God and devotion to Him. By looking into their hagiographies we can use the saints’ lives as a guide and measuring stick to help ourselves stay on the right track. As Canonists we must look to the saints for clear likeness to virtuous living, we must look to them for real, practical examples of how to live. Just as painters, in working from models, constantly gaze at their exemplar and thus strive to transfer the expression of the original to their own artistry, so too he who is eager to make himself virtuous in life must gaze upon the Lives of the Saints as upon statues, so to speak, that move and act, and must make their excellence his own by imitation. To give an example: a saint most dear to me is St. Tara of Paradisus, patron of captives, wives and the wilderness and wife to St. Joren of Paradisus. “It came that Joren Son of Horen found a wife of virtue and dignity, who came from Aaun. Her name was Tara, and her kindness warmed the halls of Joren’s keep, and he resolved to wed her.” (Gospel 4:6-7) A saint known from Scripture itself, St. Tara would be beaten, chained and captured alongside her husband and yet, she would still hold her resolve in her captivity through prayer and faith for the seven years she was captured until the defeat of Harren by Exalted Owyn. By reading of her life do we learn that we should remain steadfast in our faith even when all hope seems lost. Let all involuntary suffering teach you to remember GOD, and you will not lack occasion for repentance. Her life shows that one should not claim to have acquired virtue unless they have suffered affliction, for without affliction virtue has not been tested. Thus can be concluded that the value of the Lives of the Saints lies in its use to the Faithful, it being a form of guidance to aid ourselves in remaining on the path to virtue as we try to imitate those virtuous living of the saints that came before us to the best of our abilities as we all strive to serve our Lord best. Amor vincit omnia. In necessariis unitas, in dubiis libertas, in omnibus caritas. Soli Deo Gloria. Signed, Acolyte Otto
  6. In Charitas On Charity Written on the 12th of Malin’s Welcome, 1831 “And so I have placed into your hearts the blessings of abundance: the virtuous wealth of the spirit. And as I have given to you this blessing of My Word, you shall also give unto your fellows.” (Virtue 2:5-6) There are several virtues laid out for us in the scrolls and each and every one is worthy of mention, one that has acted as a guiding principle instructing the children of GOD to abstain from the pecuniary measures of wealth and success and instead embrace the spiritual: Charity. There are innumerable acts of spiritual charity to draw inspiration from but I would like to address those of His Holiness Daniel the Writer and James II, who through years of diligent work penned an interpretation of the scrolls for public digestion, an act I believe embodies the spirit of the scripture noted above. His virtue is abundant, sustains our spirit and is never divided but always multiplied (Virtue 2:9) and in releasing the interpretation as public resource has allowed the abundance of the Lord in the hearts and minds of his children including myself, who through use of the scripture was taught to read and write. It was said by James II (1778) “I say again to each of you that you are like unto priests! Whatever virtue you expect of your priesthood, expect it of yourself, for the world watches you just as you watch us”[1]and to be the virtue we expect of the world we must consider what acts we can take in effort to more closely follow the canticles laid before us in the scrolls. It is said in the Canticle of Temperance “For I have given to you the pleasures of the world, and they shall comfort you in the theater of virtue; And you shall take them carefully, and shall not become a creature of worldly indulgence as the beasts of the earth” (Virtue 3:7-8) and so I believe it is should be seen as a labor of love to provide that which is not needed to those who are needy in His name, for we are all in need of the word of GOD and his abundance but many have their needs for shelter, food, warmth, and security met in abundance and should take them carefully as not to indulge. Jude II when addressing a query as to the church’s place in war said: “We say firstly that God is many things; God is Love, as is the motto of High Pontiff Everard V and so too is He Mercy, as He is the Most Merciful.”[2] And just as God sees fit to show us mercy with that which He has in abundance: Virtue, so too should we seek to act upon that love and in His name give unto others. In the letter mentioned prior Jude II also said “it is we ordained men who will serve in other ways” and just as ordained men shall serve so too should all men for we are like unto priests. WE should serve the Lord as His will is perfect, we should seek to follow His virtue of charity, we should do so in fidelity to Him and his children by practicing temperance and seeking with patience and diligence to live in humility, having faith that our Lord shall provide both to us and through us and casting aside that which we would indulge in to more needy mouths, hearts, and minds. God is Love and Charity, to toil tirelessly in the name of Love and Charity is to toil tirelessly in the name of God; there is no shame in humbling oneself to work in the fields, to pawn away ornate treasures to feed your brother so that he may be as blessed as you, to shed excess in the name of giving for It was God's will that he should give unto us the world, The word, the virtue, the Seven Skies, and all things good and true and there is no shame in trying to work in the name of God’s will. 7. THE DRAGON WITHIN US A (fictional) depiction of St. Horen and the Iblees at battle An Acolyte’s Thesis on; CANONISM BY THE SWORD Scribed by; Acolyte Rodryk Procured by; Cardinal Albarosa @Julio ツ Published on the 13th of the Grand Harvest, 18 FROM THE PRINCELY-ARCHDIOCESE OF ALBAROSA THE DRAGON WITHIN US - We must ask ourselves.. How does one define ‘The Dragon Within Us’.. and what exactly is the Dragon, and of course, how does it correlate to inciting our Faith through the sword. To begin, compel yourselves to drop your attention toward this document and, look into your heart, your mind, and your soul.. What do you see? What memories and thoughts conjure up and come to mind when you look into your heart? Well, to the average reader, one might dig up memories from childhood, when they did not have responsibility or outside influenced stress, and simply lived a joyous life, a pure life. Now, to others, one might look back to the sins they have committed.. Perhaps the reader cursed out their mother, putting a hand in the till.. Or even indulging in hatred toward another for they have offended their proud morality. The ladder half of the previous statement as mentioned above is the very snout of the dragon that lies within our souls.. Sins and temptation sown into the hearts of the Children of Horen by the Iblees all those millenia ago.. That is the dragon. The dragon sits in a cave, just as the dragon sits in our hearts.. As good Canonists we must pursue the light given to us by the aengul instead of the temptations of the Ibless.. Although, the wicked, the misguided, the evil have fallen through.. Indulging in sin. If a good Canonist does not follow the path of the Sainthood, abiding by good moral and benediction.. May their soul be blessed for only the reward of the Seven skies awaits them.. However- those on the path of sin and lust, following their forefathers such as Krug or the Ibless.. Their lives will only become a visible nightmare to both the soul and body, this is why the good Canonist must remind themselves of higher authority brought to our brethren by the descendants of Horen. Do not be fouled by the Dragon. The Dragon has the head and neck of a snake, deceitful and devious, slithering in the shadows just as the Iblees deceived Horen, do not let the eyes of the beast lead you into a life of trickery. The Dragon has the belly of a Toad, lustful and sluggish, do not let the beast drive your soul into a life of carnal desire just as the Ibless did to Malin. The Dragon has the legs of a pig, indulging and rapacious.. Do not let the beast drive you into a path of the seeking of clenching the endless hunger for greed and gold, just as the Ibless did to Urguan. And finally, the Dragon has the wings of a Daemon.. The wing is comparable to that of an aengul however it is corrupted and deformed.. A man may pray for wings although the only wings he will be given are those of a Daemon.. Not flying up into the skies but rather, deep, deep into the depths of the Iblees. As said within Wagnar’s Hymns as Prayers for the Canon, may we dedicate this moment to those of whom sought refuge in the Dragon’s cave, for they have sinned, reciting the Prayer for redemption, remembering the sacrifices our Mother of Mercy have incited toward the Descendants of Horen. Our Father, King of all, please lead us away from temptation, and lead us towards Your eternal salvation. We beg that You allow us into Your embracing arms Lord, regardless of the struggles we must go through to be there. In nomine Patris, amen. And so, this begs the question - how does the defiance of evil and the temptations of the Iblees correlate to spreading the Faith of Canon by the Sword? The answer is simple, there are many of whom follow the path of Sin, denouncing God and the scriptures of Horen’s pious descendants in exchange for the perceived riches and desires of whom the Dragon ever so more tempts our brethren. It is in the Church of Canon’s best intention to correct those misguided in both faith and moral through frequent recitings of the Holy Scrolls as instructed by the crowned in the Seven Skies, although - when the misguided do not accept the true faith and rather dwell in the Dragon’s cave willingly, in denial of God.. those devout and zealous have a single option - using the blade. The Aenguls have gifted the descendants of Horen to be strong in mind and sword, with that our zealous canonist brethren must drive the dragon into recoiling in its own evil, cleansing the world of Iblees spawn if they do not submit to the will of God. In comparison to the widely accepted Canonist sects of today such as Augurism, to put the passion of St. Julai into the sword and will of our God is one of the most honorable acts a man of faith can pursue in times of threat. Thus, it is the will of the zealot children of Horen to deny the temptations of the misguided, for the Dragon does not only dwell in a cave, rather, the Iblees can corrupt in our hearts, and the wicked can very well be among us, as Children of Horen we must take to the sword and defend the light of our blessed Lord.
  8. PURITY THROUGH SACRIFICE A thesis by Acolyte Urzog COMMON VERSION: Vanity plagues the world GOD has given us. Narcissism is unchecked across the world, and self absorption pollutes the minds of the impressionable young. The sin of this world is continuing as the faithful blind themselves with vanity. The pursuit of worldly possessions is inhibiting our ability to praise GOD as we should, because GOD is all we should strive for, to serve him is one of the greatest thing one of his children can do. Purity can only come to use if we become more modest in our thoughts and create a closer relationship to GOD free of sin and vanity. I myself, a humble servant of all-mighty GOD would advise all children of GOD that wish to be closer to him to take the vows and put on the modest robes of the clergy, or those that wish to protect the Mother Church to take the sword and join the Order of Exalted Owen. Humility in all things is what we should want in the lives GOD has given us. BLAH VERSION: Vaytyne plagez duh wurlduh GUD haz geveen uz. 9. Keep Your Faith In God! ☨ Brother Ivarus Bishop, Acolyte of Jorenus. "Blessed be the Most High one, God, The Creator, Blessed be the people of Hanseti-Ruska, Blessed be the followers of the Canonist Church. God, our Lord, the omnibenevolent, omniscient, omnipotent, used his powers to put us on this Earth. God, our Lord who has the power to save people from illnesses, troubling situations, wars, our Lord who saves people from the very edge of Death! God, who rescues us from the tempations of Ibless, using his divine powers and his eternal love towards his people, who hears the prayers of his children. Our Lord, is our Father, as a normal Father watches over his children, He watches over everyone, who is in his eternal light, As He is your Father, he shall be the one who will keep you out of temptations which Ibless brings with himself. God, will bring us to eternal Life by using his divine powers, it is God who will expell the Daemons of Ibless from your property as He is the Most High One in the entire Universe, so do not fear the Daemons, as it is God shall be with you, and as He will be the one who will protect you, when the sun is rising in the morning, and when the moon is shining in the dark midnight. Do not lose your faith in the eyes of the most High One, thus he is the God of your salvation! The Holy Cross, which you carry, will be a sign of your devotion and love to the Lord who watches over us, in all eternity. If you lose your Faith, keep in mind, we are all Children of God, he is the Father who made sure you are on this Earth. Even in the times of War, He shall protect you, even if you face Death itself. Your Faith in God, is an armor which shall protect you, as this Armor shall be filled with the Power of God. What is Life, without having Faith in the Most High One? What will your life, come to, if you do not have Faith, at all? The answer, is obvious, your life shall be difficult to handle and you will not have anyone to speak to your problems about! Godan is our Heavenly Father, who shall hear your prayers and shall respond to them with blessings, as thou shalt be enlightened by God Almighty. God shall take you on a journey, whether you believe or you do not believe, He shall reveal himself to you, in your travels towards belief. Which is why I, in the name of God and his Works, ask you to attend the Masses to develop your faith in the Most High One, to bring yourself, into the shining light of God. Devout your life, to the Almighty One, as He will make sure that you will have a good Life! Do not fear the temptations that Ibless brings with, with his Daemons and his lies. As we are all determined to try to live according to your Word, and to your ways. May God bless and keep you all, Children, of God Almighty, Blessed be the people who listen to your Words, Amen."
  10. On Small Miracles Brother Francis Brown, Acolyte 11th of Owyn’s Flame, 1811 I wish to start this by talking about my inspiration for this paper; an old blind man who served in the church gave me the inspiration when I asked for advice on what to write for my thesis. It was raining at the time, and he advised me to write about the miracle of rain, and the miracles so often forgotten by all. With this knowledge, I was inspired to write about the everyday miracles that truly show us GOD’s love, but are so unjustly forgotten. I wish to thank this man, whose name I may never know, for inspiring me to write this. This is my first everyday miracle, the miracle of inspiration. I imagine being stuck on something is a commonly known sensation, and the great sensation of inspiration is just as commonly known. Whether inspiration comes through GOD to you, or GOD through someone to you, it must come from GOD. One of the smaller ways GOD shows you His love is by not letting you get stuck on your thesis idea for too long. The next everyday miracle I wish to talk about is the one that inspired this thesis, rain. Rain is a beautiful thing, it ends famine, feeds wells, waters crops, and gives birth to glorious rainbows of marvelous colour when it is done. Rain must come from GOD as a gift to his children for their love and devotion. Another everyday miracle is happiness and laughter. GOD wants his children to laugh, and enjoy the life He gave to them. The love that flows through GOD to you allows you to be truly happy, and feel great joy. The last everyday miracle I shall be writing about is the greatest, the miracle of life. Your very existence is GOD’s will, for he gave life to us. When you wake in the morning you must thank Him for the life you were given on that day, for that life is miraculous. Thus this concludes my humble thesis on small miracles, may GOD bless you!
  11. A THESIS ON DILIGENCE AND DETERMINATION THE FUEL OF FAITH DEDICATED TO THE LATE CARDINAL FRANCISCO OF SUTICA AND PADRE JAVIER OF PROVIDENCE VIRTUE 4: 6-7 "For I have blessed you with My miracle of creation, and you shall draw nearer to My throne by your labors. And you shall discover strength of heart as you work the forge and the plow." Determination and Diligence, these are the two qualities all laymen and clergy should possess. For these two words are the words of hope. We must have determination and diligence in order to reach the throne of GOD, don't we? Us as laymen and clergy must continue to work and labor under GOD till we reach paradise and the throne of GOD. We must continue to toil, to labor under GOD to be faithful and loyal to his holy word. GOD has created us, given us the miracle of life, we should and must have faith in him, and have determination while serving under him, praying to him. Even if the enemies of our holiest of lord try to stop you from doing as you should, praying and being loyal to him, we should continue to worship him even if it means we die in his name for it. We must not stop worshiping him, the holiest of lords, for paradise comes after we are done with this mortal world. We must work and toil in his names before we are allowed in his throne. Even if we face the troubles of this mortal world, loss of life, disease, and other hardships, we must keep being determined and pray to GOD for salvation, for there is no greater salvation then entering his realm. We must not be tempted by the evil forces of this realm to be put off our loyal path to GOD. We must not be put off the path of helping others through their troubles, the apostates, heathens, and heretics of our world. We must have determination and have diligence in order to help them through their ungodly troubles. We must be determined in order to show them to the correct path, to the path of GOD's light. I as a Hyspian have faced these troubles, I have chosen to be determined to help my fellow Hyspians through their troubles. Our identity destroyed by those non GOD fearing men of Red Hyspia. I have made it my life's work to help the Red Hyspians see the correct path and be faithful and determined through faith as I am. One Hyspian comes to mind when speaking of helping our non GOD fearing brothers, Francisco Cardinal Sutica. His eminence was an example of determination, facing troubles, being betrayed by his Hyspian brothers, yet he endured. The same can be said for Padre Javier, a man who died for the faith, yet determined even in the face of death. These men were faithful and determined, and were rewarded for it, through entrance to GOD's realm as all faithful are. It is good to say that the faithful in the bodies of government I preside in, such as Cartagena or Osanora, are ever more faithful and determined to continue worshipping our highest of Lords, GOD. The people, from my own experience are determined to continue worshiping GOD no matter the troubles and hardship they go through. In their work, which they do ever so diligently, they do in his name, all glory goes to him. From the baron to the commoners, the people are faithful and diligent. In conclusion, It is my belief that the faithful are fueled by determination through GOD's name, and continue to toil with diligence in his name. I believe that we must continue to toil in his name our entire life, we must not take "breaks" from worshipping him. 12. Depicted: Oswyn son of Godwin washing the feet of a poor man. REPENT, Ye of Great Wealth and Little Faith A short thesis by Acolyte Jacques I write with heavy heart, for I have seen the depths of man's infidelity to the Lord our GOD. Oren, once the greatest haven of the Lord's might, has become overcome with vice and corruption of a kind most egregious. The rule of the land has fallen to moneylenders, wealthy nobility, and royals without a care in the world for the people they lord over. It seems the Lords and Royals of Oren have forgotten these words, given unto the Prophet Horen in the first days of the Church: Material wealth is not a tool of GOD, but of Iblees. Greed corrupts even the best of men, seeping into their hearts until they can see nothing else. We see this in the dwarves, cursed by Iblees to delve deeper and deeper in search of something to fill the hole within them. They do not realize that only GOD can fill this hole, and that the wealth of the spirit will redeem them where aurum and mina cannot. The nobility of Oren it seems is afflicted by the same curse of greed, a greed which threatens to break the very bond which is most dear to humanity: the bond with the Lord Above. So consumed with wealth have the lords of the land become, that they forget their most basic commitments: To GOD and to the PEOPLE. They take as they will, harvesting the fruits of our labor only to leave it to rot in vast hoards until the end of days. They beat and intimidate the common folk when it pleases them, collecting exorbitant taxes to fund projects of vast wealth while neglecting the very Faith that they say gives them right to rule. The torment of the masses cries out in the burning of the House of Commons, cries out in the violence of misguided insurgents like the Mercatorii. I do not condone this act of aggression, yet one cannot help but admit that such a desperate act speaks volumes to the plight of the everyday people of Oren. Groups like this will continue to rise unless something is done about the widespread corruption within the ranks of our highest levels of government and society. And so it is that I say REPENT, Ye of Great Wealth and Little Faith. For as opulent as your life may be in this world, it will not save you from the embrace of Iblees in the next. And if you do not repent, I fear that the will of the people may force your hand.
  13. We, the children of almighty GOD, must understand GOD is beyond our idea of a mortal being such as ourselves, he is much more powerful, wiser, and holy than any of us could ever achieve he is the standard for which we must follow. GOD exists within our souls and all that he has graciously gifted the ability to thrive and prosper under his holy guidance, for this gift we must worship GOD as he is, a guiding holy force for which we can serve to continue glorifying his name and doing so will help us become virtuous, humble and wise. Within our churches, we worship all-mighty GOD and meditate to his unending love towards us, within our homes we tend to those all GOD has graced us with. We must praise GOD for he leads our lives and gives us purpose, us, the servants of GOD should help to better the world GOD has granted us, with love, prosperity, and cooperation for this is what GOD wants, all of his children on this world to better each other with him as our shepherd guiding us, his flock. With the challenges to our faith that GOD gives us we can prove our devotion and let him see if we, the children of GOD, are worthy to continue to glorify Him in the seven skies. You should fear no heathen, heretic, or schismatic whilst GOD guides you. It is every canonist’s duty to end the divides within the Mother Church as GOD wants all his children to be united and faithful towards him, for GOD loves all, even those that slander his holy name.
