THE WARFORGE OF KRUGMAR _______________________________________________ The sounds of hammering can be heard from the center of Krugmar, heat blasting out the door of the forge. Grunting and singing can be heard, going beat or beat with the hammer. The heart of Krugmar is beating. Whenever war rages, we can see the demand for tools, armor, weapons, cannons, ammunition, increase tenfold. As the cannon fodder rides into battle with glory and honor, we want them to have full trust in the blade in their hands. Even out of wartime, we prepare our soldiers for their next WAGH, as Krugmar is an armory in practice.This story has been told many times, by many mouths, heard by many ears. We must produce. We must create. We must prevail. What The Warforge Provides From the warforge, quality items will be supplied by our manifold smiths. Our job is to take care of all gear needs of the Horde and its close allies. An Uruk asking for gear will not be charged by any means. Our forge will supply any new smiths with quality metals, with many opportunities to learn arts, some examples being Warforging and Haruspexy. We will not expect you to use your own resources to build, but we expect that any Horde resources must be used for bettering the Horde, one way or another. (( I just though tot do this because i wanted SOME weapon advances over the more that 100 year lifespan that is LOTC, opinions and comments are welcome, Enjoy!)) *Lancing is sitting by the low coals of the fire just outside of his barracks, experimenting with a thin metal rod, He finds a stone dowel and carefully uses small blasts of miniature arcane missiles to wind the white-hot rod around the stone. Satisfied, he dunks it in a bucket of water and goes to bed, In the morning he wakes up and checks his creation, he shakes off the water droplets and eases the bent rod off the stone. He bends the two ends of the rod and they resist but give slightly, Lancing does a double take and bends it again, it resists but gives slightly again. He then grabs a bit of bread from the nearby table and puts it on the end of the contraption and bends it back, he releases and watches as the bread goes flying across the room….. “Oi! SAM!” He yells at his sleeping friend to no effect. Lancing sighs and aims a peice of bread at Sam’s mouth. The projectile hits on the target, and wakes up Sam who now has a piece of bread stuck in his throat. “Wot the hell Lancing?!’ He yells at his comrade, slapping him upside to head. “Look at this,” Lancing sends a peice of bread across the room, “what…. is that?” Lancing fiddles with the contraption which creates a type of ‘spriong’ sound: “A, Spring.”
