Description

Grace von Draco - dark black hair, light blue eyes, and pale skin. They wear a red bandana, and dark plated armor.

Other members affiliated with the von Dracos wear similar dark plated armor and red bandanas.

CHARGES 

202.01 - On Assault 

202.01A - Where an individual intentionally makes an unlawful attempt, coupled with a present ability, to commit a violent injury on the person of another, this shall be assault, a misdemeanor. 

202.02 - On Battery 

202.02A - Where an individual intentionally commits upon another an unlawful act of violence which brings about lasting but not permanent injury, incapacitates for any length of time, or utilizes a dangerous weapon, this shall be battery, a misdemeanor.

202.04 - On Murder 

202.04A - Where an individual intentionally commits such an act of violence upon another which brings about their death, with or without premeditation, a felony. 

203.01 - On Theft 

203.01A - Where an individual intentionally deprives another of moveable property without the consent of its owner, and this property totals less than fifty minas in value, this shall be theft in the third degree, an infraction. 

203.01B - Where an individual intentionally deprives another of moveable property without the consent of its owner, and this property totals greater than fifty minas but less than five hundred minas in value, this shall be theft in the second degree, a misdemeanor. 

203.01C - Where an individual intentionally deprives another of moveable property without the consent of its owner, and this property totals greater than five hundred minas in value, this shall be theft in the first degree, a felony. 

203.02 - On Burglary 

203.02A - Where an individual unlawfully enters an uninhabited property this shall be burglary in the second degree, a misdemeanor.

203.02B - Where an individual unlawfully enters an inhabited property, this shall be burglary in the first degree, a felony. 

The von Draco family, namely Grace von Draco and her affiliated family members, were caught assaulting peers of the realm, and banditting the brother of the Margrave, and the Baronet of Westfall. Furthermore, they have been caught in theft and breaking down property.

Description

Human male, red hair and blue eyes he posseses a stubble on his chin, his hair is tied by a blue hairband and he speaks with an Auvergnian accent He has also been noted to have a behavioral tendency to commit criminal acts and then attempt to aid those harmed by it. He is belived to be a earth sorcerer with the ability to hurl stones,  it has also been reported that a wolf's howl can be heard when the individual dissapears, hinting to a hidden ability of his.

Update: He has been reported to now wear silver armor with a white fur cloak 

Charges 

203.07 - On Arson 

203.07B - Where an individual intentionally damages or defaces the property of another through fire, this shall be vandalism in the first degree, a felony. 

203.06 - On Vandalism 

203.06B - Where an individual intentionally or negligently damages or defaces the property of another, and this damage is of great amounts, this shall be vandalism in the first degree, a misdemeanor. 

202.03 - On Manslaughter 

202.03A - Where an individual brings about the death of another without malice upon a sudden quarrel or heat of passion, this shall be voluntary manslaughter, a felony.

207.02 - On Concealment of Identity

207.02A - Where an individual intentionally conceals or hides oneself’s identity to an agent of the law, this shall be the crime of concealing one’s identity, an infraction. 

207.04 - On Disturbing the Peace

207.04A - Where an individual intentionally and deliberately hinders or interrupts the common peace by embellished performance or immoral behavior, this shall be the crime of disturbing the peace, a misdemeanor. 

The individual was identified during the criminal act of intentionally burning the Orenian clinic and is found guilty on all charges. He is to be delivered to officers of the Petrine Legion upon which a sum of 100 mina will be given to by the Kingdom of Oren.

VERDICT OF INQUISITION

13th of Grand Harvest, 1871

ON Doctor Primrose Gendik, Charles Komnenos, and Solana

     Upon the conclusion of a careful investigation by the Royal Inquisition into a report raised by Doctor Primrose Gendik regarding interactions with her daughter-in-law, Solana, a just and carefully calculated verdict has been reached. This decision, as well as accompanying remarks, are as follows:

1. Primrose Gendik is found guilty of Mayhem in the third degree, a misdemeanor.

1.1 A fine of 300 minas must be paid in full to the Royal Treasury, and proof of payment delivered to the Royal Inquisition within 1 year of this publication.

2. Charles Komnenos is found guilty of Battery in the third degree, an infraction.

2.1 Sentence deferred, pending payment of the above fine.

3. Solana is found guilty of Battery in the third degree, an infraction.

3.1 A punishment of 10 lashes by birching - to be delivered to Solana by the Petrine Legion at the earliest possible opportunity, - or a fine of 100 minas, to be paid in full to the Royal Treasury, and proof of payment provided to the Royal Inquisition within 1 year of this publication.

     Though this investigation was opened due to a report made by Primrose Gendik, the Inquisition’s investigation found that Doctor Gendik, along with her son, freely admitted to several infraction and misdemeanor-level offenses throughout the altercations being reported. It is the Inquisition’s belief, based on interactions with the above parties, that they believed the Inquisition could simply be used to eliminate a thorn in their sides on the basis of rumors, hearsay, and conjecture. This is most far from the truth. The Inquisition is not a corrupt tool of petty nobles to disappear pesky commoners. The Inquisition is not a corrupt brute squad to go and silence opposition. The Inquisition is the righteous eyes and ears of His Royal Majesty, and shall act in all cases as such. Justice shall be done, regardless of the whims of those involved in the commission of crimes.

     It is also evident, based upon a thorough string of interviews conducted by the Inquisition, that the accused Solana misrepresented the truth in at least one or more cases. Lying to Royal Inquisitors will never be tolerated. It is the Inquisition’s belief that Solana expected to manipulate her investigators into undue sympathy, and therefore an unjust outcome. Her grave mistake was believing that the professional courtesy afforded to her by Inquisitors was synonymous with friendliness. It is not. The Royal Inquisition has no friends, shows no preference, and bends for no pleas. Inquisitors are not susceptible to damsels in distress.

     Justice shall be delivered by the Royal Inquisition to all accordingly. Attempts to leverage this organization to one’s benefit will be recognized, and likewise dealt with accordingly. There are no exceptions.

THE ROYAL INQUISITION 

The Royal Inquisition, formally known as the Imperial Inquisition, is tasked with both the prosecution and punishment of criminals throughout the entirety of the Orenian realm. It is headed by the Inquisitor-General, Elijah Keen, vested as the highest legal authority in the realm, and naturally provided the following rights: 

• The ability to conduct a trial on sight for those charged with a crime under Orenian Law, to carry out this duty with the utmost consideration for all evidence and testimony
• The ability to prosecute a criminal found guilty in violation of the law, to sentence the offender, and to ensure proper punishment is carried out
• The ability to investigate a case to the full extent of the law, including but not limited to the right to summon or detain relevant suspects/witnesses for questioning, ward off specific areas, and petition the Crown for extra privileges 
• The ability to direct members of the Petrine Legion to carry out sentences handed down to offenders, and to execute warrants of search, seizure, and arrest
• The ability to utilize Petrine Legion facilities for detention and questioning of suspects

– Exception, On Peers:

As the right of the Royal Peerage to rule is derived directly from the Divine authority of the King, and their judgment is therefore beyond contestation by any but those who grant them said privilege, Peers of the Kingdom are not subject to the jurisdiction or authority of the Inquisition and are to be investigated, prosecuted, and judged solely by the order of the Royal Sovereigns.

• Tasked by the Crown to command the Royal Inquisition, the Inquisitor General is expected to oversee, direct, and carry out all legal matters pertaining to the Kingdom of Oren with absolute authority and discretion.

• Appointed by the Inquisitor-General to assist in the maintenance and day to day operations of the Royal Inquisition, the Deputy Inquisitor-General serves as an extension of the Inquisitor-General’s will by wielding equal authority and discretion, albeit subject to the reach and command of the Inquisitor-General.
• Assumes the Inquisitor-General’s responsibilities in his absence

Royal Inquisitors

• Esteemed lawmen, investigators, and judges appointed by the Inquisitor-General with the consent of the Crown, responsible for managing cases and administering justice where discretion or the direction of the Inquisitor-General deem necessary
• They are expected to be paragons of the law, and are to be severely held accountable if they fall out of its bounds.

Inspectors

• Employed by the Inquisitor-General to assist him and the Inquisitors in a variety of their duties however directed, particularly as assistants in the cases of Inquisitors and as extra investigators
