Simply put, since the update I've had numerous occurrences where moving items from a chest to my inventory, and vice-versa, has made the item I was moving simply disappear.   This has happened with Stacks of Logs, Stacks of Chain mail Rings, Stacks of Iron Ingots, to most recently 30 Iron blocks.   The only condition that seems consistent is when moving them from a chest/inventory into another chest/inventory.   Please look into this, as it has happened to others.
