[Bug] Losing Items When Moving From Chest<>Inventory

Simply put, since the update I've had numerous occurrences where moving items from a chest to my inventory, and vice-versa, has made the item I was moving simply disappear.

 

This has happened with Stacks of Logs, Stacks of Chain mail Rings, Stacks of Iron Ingots, to most recently 30 Iron blocks.

 

The only condition that seems consistent is when moving them from a chest/inventory into another chest/inventory.

 

Please look into this, as it has happened to others. Thanks

This sometimes happens to me when I claim food from a cauldron, last time that happened was yesterday when I moved to add it to what I had left of my bread but it vanished before clicking the bread so I ended up selecting my food and exited out to then drop my food into fire.  It was a moment of defeat....

I've also had it happen to me when claiming leatherworking items.

This has also happened to me, however only with a bit of coal. It's a big issue, I'm sure the techs will get to it when they can get to it.

Just bumping this as this still is going on.

 

Just today I made Ferrum Lances.

 

As I attempted to move them from my action bar after crafting and placing them into my inventory, they would disappear.

 

This happened at least four times.

I've had this happen to me several times when dragging items from my hot bar and into my inventory, I can usually avoid it by shift-clicking the items into my inventory and then moving them around but it should still be fixed to avoid any more item losses, pls fix when u can. :-0

Today, I finished crafting a sharpness 1 book after nearly 11 hours.

 

Trying to move it from my action bar to inventory caused it to disappear.

 

-I get Dev is busy trying to make things work, but c'mon now. And being told to post it in the bug tracker isn't helpful when bugs that have been posted in the bug tracker for SIX MONTHS still aren't fixed.

 

I know people lie about losing ****, but this happens so often that its now a sad joke between me and the GMs. I'm not a person to lie about losing a Ferrum Lance or a Stack of Iron. But when this has been going on since the Update and now I've lost numerous items and numerous hours invested into crafting things only for them to *poof*, I'm annoyed.

This will never be solved. You fail to realize the devs set their own priorities -- and bugs which make people less wealthy barely even register on that list. This would need to be a dupe bug or something similar for it to be worth consideration.
