Aureon - Seed of Nature and Kin

My soul breathes the life of the Mother and my body preaches the strength of the Father.

The seeds of the Dominion of Malin are the core of the very tradition the mali’ame hold dear today. While some may boast of lineage and others of power, the Aureon’s boast of neither. As the founder of the Aureon seed, El’Annil Elvrohir Aureon, being the last of his lineage, he sought to breathe life back into his seed with indoctrinating outsiders of the same mindset and beliefs. While few of the Aureon’s are related by blood, their bonds are no less stronger. Each member proudly calls the other brother or sister, and treats them as no less.

Holding the title of a Noble Seed and bearing a seat on the Council of Roots, the Aureon’s influence within the Dominion is notable. Made up of a vast majority of skilled Sirame warriors and commanders alike, dedicated Naelurir druid priests, as well as an archdruid, and skilled craftsmen, the rich tradition of the mali’ame courses through the very life blood of the seed.

Founded by Elvrohir Aureon, the Aureon Seed is currently governed by the chieftain, El’Chirr Katar Aureon, a notable and long standing member of the seed. With a firm hand, but strong heart, he leads and guides his family in this ways of their people and culture.

Ancient History

Elenwë, the First Maiden of Malin

While the world was still young, Malin lead the elven people, and a particular mali’ame woman held his favour. Elenwë, a fearless and honourable warrior strove to help guide her people in the ways of the forefather. Her skill with the blade and eye for the bow outranked many of her compatriots, establishing her within the sights of Malin himself. Pleased with her skill, he bestowed upon her his own spear, encouraging her to continue leading her people with a firm hand.

With the disappearance of Malin and the division of his people, Elenwë remained in the location of his disappearance, along with the people intrusted to her. Choosing instead to rest in one location, they were the first of the seeds to live in a non-nomadic lifestyle. Her, along with others, then began the formation of the seeds.

Settling into permanent lodgings, a concept unheard of in this time, Elenwë, and a few steadfast individuals, supplemented their life to hunting and gathering with the blessing of the Aspects. As the years passed on, they mastered the art of tree harvesting. The Home Trees provided them with shelter, the Iron Barks produced superior hunting bows, and the fruit trees bore a surplus of food. This artificial forest, called Ame’lie, grew in tune with nature, and served the Aureon Seed well. And in this way, they existed through The Era of Seeds.

Elenwë, Chieftain of the Aureon Seed, resided over her people for many years, sustaining leadership even when her strength and vitality had began to fade. She was a beloved grandmother to her kin, and no one could find it in themselves to question her.

Unfortunately, the Uruk did not share this affection. Now despite being exceptional hunters, the Aureons were not soldiers. When the time came, they could do little against the iron-clad Raiders of the Uzg. Elenwë died in battle, and her spear was taken, leaving the Aureons without a leader and without a mother to guide them.

When Prince Artimec Camoryn called upon the mali’ame people to remember their Seeds and rebuild them, the Aureon people were one of the first to answer the call. They strove to bring back the life the forest sustained them with and to this day, continue to do so.

The Seed of Today

After many decades and having borne no offspring himself, Elvrohir established a wide diversity of malii within his seed. While the Aureons of old were striking in appearance with their longer than average ears, light russet skin tone, vibrant green eyes, and reddish-brown hair, the Aureons of today share a wide range of characteristics. As the beginning members of the seed consisted of Aelthus, a fair skinned mali’aheral, Veravia, the elegant sister counterpart to the ‘aheral, Fawynn, a bronze skinned mali’ame, and Katar, a copper haired wood elf, the diversity was already in the works. While some bear the tell tale blonde hair and violet eyes of the mali’aheral, others show off their dark locks and deep set brown eyes. Most, if not all, come from various backgrounds and traditions, but one thing unites them all: their devout loyalty to one another.

The Aureon seed marking, Ame’lie

As the ancient history of the Aureons spoke of their ties to the Ame’lie, it held a deeper meaning to them. For the Aureons, the Ame’lie meant the difference between surviving and perishing. Without the Ame’lie, they would have had no homes, no food and no means of continuing on. And so, the Aureon’s became know as the protectors of the Ame’lie, helping guide their forest in tune with the Balance of Nature. The Balance relays the cycle of life, of existence and death, of fruitfulness and rot. And thus, the illmyumier of the seed relates just that message.

Traditionally tattooed in a visible area of the body, the Aureon seed members bear their markings with pride, telling the tale of how their ancestors helped keep the life growing, not only in the Ame’lie, but within themselves too.

Core Beliefs and Initiation

While the Aureon seed is a notable and honourable seed, tradition is held highest among it’s members. With the ever growing family, it came to the attention of the wife of the chieftain, Lady Steward and Naelurir Archdruid Arahaelth Aueron, that those wishing to incorporate themselves into the fold would need to prove themselves to the existent family. After many years of delving into the ways of the seeds and teaching her dedicants the Balance and Aspectism, she created a structured manuscript detailing the key values of the seed, along with how aspiring members would prove these values to the Aureons. These values and trials are as follows:

Faith - The culture of the mali’ame is deeply rooted within the teachings of the Aspects, Cernunnos and Cerridwen. While many of the wood elven people are at least aware of the deities of the forest, many more are ignorant to the tradition. With this, the druii are the most reliable source of teaching. With a number of Aureon members being attuned druii, the aspirant is required to be taught the mali’ame ways from one of said druii. Once the teacher is pleased with the aspirant’s intake of knowledge, the are required to sit with Archdruid Sister Sparrow and relay all they have been taught. Should they succeed in pleasing her with their new found knowledge, they may continue on with their trials. Should they fail, they will be required to continue their learning and will be re-tested.

Kinship - Family ties run deeper than blood within the seed. And thus, it is required for an aspirant to prove they can meld with the life of a family. Along with the observation of the elders, the aspirant will need to prove, through action, word and deed, that they can set family before themselves. Should brother turn on brother, or sister turn on sister, the whole family suffers. As the aspirant begins their initiation within the seed, they will be kept under continuous scrutiny by all the existing members, with all reports returning back to the chieftain, Katar Aueron.

Honor - Reputation and dignity go hand in hand with the Aureons. With many of the members being dignified soldiers of the Sirame, reputable clerics and even political figure heads, the way an Aureon is viewed by outsiders is of the utmost importance. While the aspirant will not only be looked upon by the Aureons, most civilians and other seeds will scrutinize. As with the Terins, Caerme’onns, and Calithils, and others, should the aspirant be viewed as dishonorable to the seed by the aforementioned, along with the people of the Dominion, their chances of entering the seed are drastically lowered if not obliterated. This includes breaking any of the lawful standings in the cities of the Dominion (Ker’nor, Norseth’onn, and/or Linandria).

Cohesion - Without unity, there can be no community. And with no community, relationships can not be formed. That being said, it is well routed within the ways of the mali’ame that working together is the most prosperous and efficient method of getting things done. For the aspirant, they will be pushed to many limits in order to prove that they can, in fact, work together with their counterparts and establish cohesion with their brethren. Depending on the aspirant, their first of many trails in this value may consist of harvesting and bringing the family a fallen tree (accompanied by at least one other member), hunting large game, aiding in the teachings of the Aspects (should they have completed the trial of faith) or any other trial deemed appropriate for the aspirant. While it is important for the aspirant to be tested, both physically and mentally, the Aureon’s are not cruel and will help find a balance when it comes to the position of the individual.

Self Worth - Personal integrity is an important aspect to the uniqueness of an individual. It is this uniqueness that makes each malii their own person. With this value, the aspirant must demonstrate what makes them who they are. While many of the Aureons are established craftsmen, a common method of proving self worth is to construct an object of importance on their own. Should an aspirant be an unskilled artisan, there are other methods such as transcribing stories, learning old elven ballads or even inventing new ideas and concepts for architecture, weaponry, battle strategies and the list goes on. No one is without individualism, and this characteristic is important to creating a sense of self and belonging.

Knowledge - While some may argue that the traditions of the mali’ame and the ways of the Aspects are one, the Aureon’s do not believe this is so. Just as the druii must be educated when it comes to The Horned Lord and The Green Lady, any aspirant of the seed of the Dominion must be educated in the culture and history of the people. In this trial, the aspirant must not only research and study the mali’ame, but they must also go out into the city and interview the notable figures, asking to learn in the ways of oral tradition.  While it is not limited to these individuals, a select group that would be wise to ask for include:

While these values are held high and are considered of the utmost importance to the Aureon household, they are many others that the aspirant may be required to prove. While initiation into the seed may take time, the time that they spend and the devotion they put into it will be taken into account and be appreciated by all.

While the Aureon seed is a lively and plentiful family, they have not gone without loss. As honor is a core value for the family, that applies also to those who had passed on. For the seed, they honour and respect the family they no longer have the chance to experience the joys of life with. Veravia Aureon, having not been heard from in many decades, is presumed to have perished. While not known to many of the seed, she still holds the title of an original member and asset to the Aureon seed. With El’Chirr Aelthus and Fawynn Aureon, both original members have moved on from this realm and into that of the Aspects plain. Having served the seed dutifully in it’s building stages, they will always be remember within their seed.  But there was one Aureon, one without a name, that did not get to experience the joys of family. An unborn child of Arahaelth Aureon did not get to breathe in the sweet scent of life. Taken to be with the Aspects too soon, the babe is also honoured by the seed, as not only a past family member, but a precious mali child.

Oath of Initiation

Once an aspirant has successfully completed their given trials, they will be sworn into the Aureon seed by declaration of an oath and sealing said oath in blood. Not unlike that of a Naelurir dedicant agreeing to pursue in the tasks of a student, the aspirant will promise their life unto the seed through words and through the offering of their life source in the sight of the Aspects. The oath, transcribed by Leo Aureon, is as follows:

Let the blood that hisses within these flames be my word.

Let the flesh that I tear bind me to the troth I make today

Nay, be the blood, for the troth runs deeper.

My body is the shield of my kin.

For my brothers and sisters I will lay down my being if need be.

Clan Irongrinder was originally a common clan back in Asulon, though they were not
around. Due to some debates and quarrels they broke apart and went their
separate ways. Now the few remaining descendants reunite upon the ship to
Anthos. Comparing their past information and annals of the clan they have come
up with this ruff summarization of the clan.

Upon their arrival to this new land, the three Irongrinders, Zahrer, Tog, and Kairn, built up the clan wealth to the point of owning one of the largest clan halls in Kal'Azgoth. At this point Kairn went missing but was replaced by another of their kin, Dizzy Iringrinder.

Two clans, the Irongrinders and the Thunderfists, unite by the marriage of Zahrer Irongrinder and Riddeth THunderfist. Through this union the clan takes up the new name of Thunderblades and with the other dwarves move to Kal'Ithrun.

Following the death of Grand King Thorin Grandaxe, Dizzy is elected king and Zahrer made a Lord of Urguan. Shortly after the remaining Thunderfists are lost. Some went on pilgrimages, some lay sick in bed, and still others were lost in death. Having no kin with whom they had bonded, the Irongrinders take up their old name in remembrance of their history.

The Irongrinders move into their new clan home in Kal'Ithrun.

With the destruction of Anthos, the Irongrinders take up residence in their new hall in Kal'Arkon, the Dwedmer capital in the Fringe.

Using a special balista built by Zahrer Irongrinder, the Golden lance(Guild) fire the Golden Lance (Weapon/Relic) that kills Setherian.

To escape the drought of the Fringe, the Dwedmar of clan Irongrinder travel through the portal to the land of Thales where they are a major force in the construction of both Kal'Klad and the naval flagship, the Ancestor's Truth (Keznol Anoros).

Using the Ancestor's Truth, the dwarves flee the eternal winter of Thales...

The Clan members, along with the other clans of Urguan, reach the land of Athera, setting up within the new capital of Kal'Agnar.

After years of peace, growing fears within the Dwed capital come to a head when a series of murders, disappearances and kidnappings hits the Dwarven government. Several officials are killed or taken including the Lord Protector, Zahrer Irongrinder.

Having escaped from his captors, Zahrer returns to his kin in time to save the Grand King, Fimlin Grandaxe, from being assassinated. Zahrer then, bearing ancient relics from a forgotten age, assists in the retaking of the Dwarven capital and begins to recollect the missing Irongrinder kin in the new city of Kal'Karaad.

After a close election and a quick coronation, Zahrer is crowned the Grand King of Urguan. He is the second of Clan Irongrinder to hold the title.

After making many reformations to the laws of the Grand Kingdom, Zahrer is forced to resign by the newly reformed Lord's Council for refusing to banish the entirety of Clan Grandaxe.

After many years in hiding with the relics of Urguan, including the Crown and Armor of Urguan, Zahrer returns to give the relics to the new Grand Kings.

Following the fall of Athera to the great worm, the remnant of Clan Irongrinder returns to the kingdom in force and begins to build up their numbers in the new city of Kal'Akash in the Isles of Vailor.

Following the grant of land by the Jarls of Avar and the Grand King, the Castle of Jarnstrand (Iron Beach) is constructed for the purpose of reforming the clan in a holding and eventually reforming Dungrimm's Folk.

The Castle of Jarnstrand falls to the Empire of Oren and her allies in 1541 after some traitors pull traps on our own men.

With the completion of the construction of the new capital of Kal'Isthul, the Clan moves into their new clan hall.

With the introduction of the new Jarldom system, the Clan is awarded a jarldom on the western coast of the kingdom. Construction of the main keep begins in 1562.

The Clan moves with the rest of the Dwedmar to the new realm of Axios. With this move, the clan begins to increase in number, bringing in many numbers.

With the rise of The Citadel of Arcadia, the Irongrinders relish in the newfound studies to be had in the realms of Runesmithing, Golemancy, and the rest of the Arcane.

Zahrer steps down as clan father, leaving in his place his brother Tog. Tog claims the new title of clan lord.

The dwarves of Clan Irongrinder are usually skilled in engineering and redstone usage. With their knowledge, many have become largely important in the construction of various inventions, fortresses, and cities throughout the Grand Kingdom. Their works have benefited the Dwedmer in defense and peacetime in most Dwedmer buildings since Anthos. Some of their inventions and creations were key constructions in Kal'Azgoth, Kal'Ithrun, Storms Crossing, Indagolaf, Thoringrad, Kjellingrad, Kal'Arkon, Fort Onar, and The Mouth of Dungrimm.

The Irongrinders were in fact the founders of the Industrial revolution of the Grand Kingdom in the Fringe and beyond. Their accomplishments include everything from the construction of the assembly line to the invention of the flint machine.

In recent years the irongrinders have found themselves acquiring the ancient knowledge of runesmithing, being able to create runes that wield immense power.

The Dwedmer of Clan Irongrinder are tough and intelligent dwarves. Many progressing quickly up the ladders of their respective fields. They are skilled in mining, tinkering, and combat of course. One of their main skills, however, resides in engineering and redstone. They have brownish-red hair, unusually tall for a dwarf, and a small few have the ability to perform Runesmithing. Their lineage has sparked much debate but, as far as can be seen from the ancestry of the clan, the Irongrinders are descended from both mountain dwarves and cave dwarves.

The Treaty of Bear and Scorpion

Drafted on the 8th of the Deep Cold, 1628

This document will serve as proof to all nations that the Treaty of Bear and Scorpion between the Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah and the War Nation of Krugmar, under Rex U’la, has been declared. The following are the terms and conditions agreed upon by both parties:

• This pact is to be classified as a defensive alliance. Both nations hereby agree to support one another with no less than the entirety of their military strength, should it be warranted, both in the event of internal or external threats. However, this will be nullified if, in a combat scenario between two warring states, both states are allies of a signatory.

• The cordial relations between both signatories must not be infringed. It is the duty of both member-states to adhere to a strict non-aggression principle.

  • If broken the offender is subject to the full extent of justice within the country they find themselves and tried by the state within which the principle was violated.

• Member-States are expected to uphold a principle of free trade between both nations and free travel, without barrier, for citizens of one nation to the other, and vice-versa, as well as for the militaries of both nations.

  • Mobility Rights are hereby granted to each member-state. Citizens of either nation may travel as they please within the borders of the other so long as they abide by the custom and law of the state they find themselves.

• Both signatories agree to acknowledge the borders of the other; to each an expectation of sovereignty is placed. Whilst trade will be unhindered, both signatories are to respect the other and remain absent from each other’s internal affairs, unless otherwise called upon. Both signatories must remain free and un-subservient to the will of any people but their own.

  • The holding of public office by a citizen of another member-state is strictly prohibited.

  • The aiding or abetting of rebels by a member-state within the lands of another member-state is intolerable. In the case of rebellion, the other signatory will be obliged to aide the sovereign ruler of said state.

• Both signatories agree to the placement of an embassy within the territory of the other as a show of good faith.

  • Signatories are obliged to appoint ambassadors to their respective embassies.

  • Those appointed representatives are to be granted diplomatic immunity.

  • Signatories are granted the right to extradite their given ambassador to their nation of origin.

• The Treaty of Bear and Scorpion will open once more for negotiation following a five year period, with the eventual goal of drafting a permanent alliance of similar terms between signatories.

After the last Council Meeting, it was decided upon that there were a couple of positions that needed to be added. As such, it was decided that the following positions will be added to the Council of Kaz’Ulrah, and filled by the following Dwed.

High Ambassador will be in charge of maintaining the relations of the Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah and the other nations of this world. The position will be held by Gorum Frostbeard.

High Remembrance will be in charge of ensuring that the history of the Dwedmar is maintained and being written as it passes. The position will be held by Garrond Frostbeard.

Furthermore it was decided that the position of Arcane Lord will no longer be needed and that it shall be removed from the Council of Kaz’Ulrah. Alongside that, the position formerly known as Overseer which is held by Ogdan Goldhand will be renamed to High Merchant.

The official seal of Kaz’Ulrah

After years of hardwork within Dungrimm’s Folk, the official military of the Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah, a joint agreement has been reached between High King Verthaik II Frostbeard and Velerak Vulkin Frostbeard. Vulkin will be honorably discharged from the Folk, with full honors as the first leader of the Dungrimm’s Folk in Kaz’Ulrah. He will be remembered as the Dwarf who laid down the foundations for a stronger and more efficient army.

In his place, it has been decided by High King Verthaik II Frostbeard, that Grand Champion Morug will be taking over as Velerak. Morug is an experienced warrior and devote follower of the Brathmordakin, having served as High Prophet during the Unstable Years. He was present at almost every major Dwarven conflict from the Gorge onwards, and even led several small scale incursions against enemies of the Dwarves. He is noted for having been a staunch opposer of Arcadia and their actions and has called for their removal on multiple occasions. He is often seen walking the streets of Jornheim with a company of dwarves, searching for the undead and heretics.

SECTION I: THE CROWN 
The Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah is an asbolute monarchy, with ascension to the crown being passed down through hereditary succession. The line of Kerwyr Frostbeard is currently chosen by YEMEKAR to reign over Kaz’Ulrah, and protect the peace of the people.

High King
The High King serves as the ruling monarch of Kaz’Ulrah and its surrounding vassals. He holds absolute authority in all areas of the governing of the Kingdom and is assured by a hereditary succession.

LINE OF KINGS

Verthaik I
The leader of the first Frost Rebellion, Verthaik is a legendary figure in Kaz’Ulrah history and known as the first King of his line. Verthaik was the first to stand up to Urguanite dominion, and martyred himself for his cause in battle. 

Kerwyr
Kerwyr was a long serving Clan Lord under Urguan and struggled under the sanctions imposed on him and his Clan following his uncle, Verthaik, and the failed rebellion. After making his clan the strongest single entity within Urguan, the long struggle between himself and the rulers of Urguan forced him to establish the independent Kaz’Ulrah.

Son of Kerwyr, Verthaik has worked day and night to finish what his namesake started. He was known for leading successful campaigns against Urguan in a great civil conflict, and lead the Kingdom into the new age of Atlas to establish Kal'Tarak. He was slain by unknown assassins.

SECTION II: THE KING’S COUNCIL
The King is abetted with courtiers, of which he has appointed himself and vested with the necessary powers to aid him in government. A courtier will often be appointed from representatives of the Clan Council, and are at the disposal of the King to be appointed and removed at his discretion.

King’s Hand [Vacant]
The King’s Hand acts as the chief administrator of the privy and as regent in times of the King’s absence. In such times, the role of the King’s hand in foreign policy is as the principal negotiator in the King’s stead. 

High Ambassador [Vacant]

High Ambassador is in charge of maintaing the Kingdom's diplomatic relations with other nations.

High Merchant [Dwifar Goldhand (Unusualbrit)]
The Overseer is the master of industry, and ensures the the economy of Kaz’Ulrah is prosperous and free flowing. He is also tasked with the management of employing dwedmar to their respective jobs.

Marshal [Hamnil Frostbeard (Hot_dip)]
The Marshal is charged with enforcing law and order within the Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah, as well as mobilizing the Kingdom’s forces in times of conflict. He should administer the training and organisation of a professional army in the Kingdom’s name.

High Prelate [Nerak Forstbeard]
The High Prelate is an elected zealot and religious figurehead from the college of prophets that represents the brathmordakin and church. He is also more often than not charged with trials and ensuring that religious customs are upheld.

Warden [Vacant]
The Warden is the leader of the administrative division that stewards the cities of Kaz’Ulrah. He records housing and taxation within regions where applicable, also ensuring that any planning permission applications are relayed to the King and that festivals are periodically held.

High Remembrance [Vacant]
The High Remembrance is in charge of ensuring that the history of the Dwedmar is maintained and kept up to date. He is also charged with maintaining the Kingdom library alongside his scribes and other scholars under him.

SECTION III: REPRESENTATIVES
The Clan Council is a lesser division of Kaz’Ulrah government, that serves as a representative body for the Royal & Noble Clans. The objective of this conglomerate is to advise the King, to discuss matter of importance, and to draft and suggest legislation within the Kingdom. A majority vote is required for legislation to progress to the King and his Council. Despite not holding any executive authority, the Clan Council is an important function within the Kingdom, and is often how dwed might progress into politics and into courtier positions.

Royal Clan
The Royal Clan is the clan of the High King. This Clan is well respected within the Kingdom for providing one of its sons to be the leader of the Kingdom. As a result, the Royal Clan is allowed two representatives, and the tie breaking vote.

Noble Clans
Noble Clans are typically the largest and well regarded clans, anointed so by the King following service to their Kingdom. They are allowed two representatives, typically the Clan Father and an Elder.

Commoner Clans
Commoner Clans are the everyday citizenry of the Kingdom. They are a step above the vassal clans and are allowed a single representative in the Clan Council.

SECTION IV: CLAN STATUS
Clan status is something that is looked upon with great honor in the Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah. Members feel great pride in their Clan and as a result strive to better it as a unit. Clans can gain status, but by the same token, can lose it if deemed appropriate by the High King and his Council. 

Royal Clan
The Royal Clan status is acquired when a member of that Clan becomes High King of Kaz’Ulrah. This clan is allowed two representatives and the tie breaker vote in the Clan Council, in addition to being given a Clan Hall, and being allowed to have two Vassal Clans.

Noble Clan
A Noble Clan is one that has spent much time within the Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah and has proven itself time and time again loyal to the Kingdom. This status is granted by the High King and his Council to Clans that have been a part of the Kingdom for at least six stone months. Noble Clan’s are allowed two representatives in the Clan’s Council, a Clan Hall, and two Vassal Clans.

Commoner Clan
Commoner Clans are Clans that have spent at least one month within the Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah and have displayed signs of great potential. They are given a Clan hall and one representative in the Clan Council, and can have one Vassal Clan.

Vassal Clan
Vassal Clans are the Clans which are striving to become Commoner Clans. In order to became a Vassal Clan, a group of four Dwed must approach the leader of a Clan and request that they be vassalized under their clan. Then over the period of a month they must gather supplies, their kin and prepare their papers. After the period of a month they are allowed to request Commoner Clan status from the High King and his Council. Vassal Clans have neither a Clan Hall nor a representative in the Clan Council.

The Orvul Policy (The Obsidian Policy)

As we grow in power we as a Clan need to make sure certain comforts are always able to our Clan member. To this  the Kazakkhazad cast isobligated by this decree to pay a tax for the greater good of their Clan. This ((Weekly)) tax will be paid once the delivery of one of the following;

• 6 hours of Guard Duty + Participation on warclaims + Training

• 10% of their raid bounty + Participation on warclaims + Training

• 1500 minas

Under certain circumstances one can be granted temporary Release from the tax. This Release can be granted only by the leader of the Kazakkhazad cast or by the Clan Father himself.

As we grow in power we as a Clan need to make sure certain comforts are always able to our Clan member. To this end the Kronkhazad cast is obligated by this decree to pay a tax for the greater good of their Clan. This ((Weekly)) tax will be paid once the delivery of one of the following;

"The word honor holds the utmost esteem within the clan of the Frostbeards. They will hold true to their word and never go back on a deal or oath, unless they’re a stark dwarf. The frostbeard clan use to stand for something, use to be held with esteem and know as a clan that would support another if it came to it. Over the recent years those rules and tenets seem to have changed. Disloyalty, Dishonor, Oathbreaker, Kinslayer are just some of the many new rules and tenets of the clan. There is only one clan who seems to have the same views and belief and it was that of the Ironborn, It is clear now the path may not change for the frostbeards lest by miracle of the gods. Compromise was thrown out by its clan father and only hate and destruction lays in his heart. It is clear the Brathmordakin cry upon his deeds slaying kin for ones own gain, the same thing he frowns upon is the act he has taken to doing. Dishonor and Disloyalty. We here at Kaz’Ulrah are proud of our newly reconstructed city and we here want to show you all the wonders of Kaz’Ulrah, through many hours of drinking, feasting, conversation and ending it all, a minor tournament.

All of this is sponsored by the members of Kaz’Ulrah and we invite everyone, the drunken dwarves, the wise elves, the mighty orcs and the noble humans 

There will be no entry or exit fee, we just ask you kindly not to start a fight with any waring nation you might have and to drink as much as you can.

Afterwards, for those interested, a fighting tournament will be held and the winner will get a total of 1000 minas.

Clan Doomforged

The Clan Doomforged has been far too dead for it’s own good. A clan with such history shouldn’t be left as it is. It is with that said that I, Yorthmal Doomforged, reform the Clan Doomforged out of Zahrer Irongrinder’s claws and madness, under the wise Verthaik and Kaz’Ulrah, serving the righteous cause, against the undead lovers.

Iban’s Line:

Iban’s children are darker in skin and usually are darker haired, with black being the most common color. Their eyes are orange tinted and they seem to not glow as strong as the other lines. The Doomforged of Iban line usually are great warriors, and sturdy stalwarts. They prefer axes and warhammers and heavy armor, bold choices for bold, sturdy-minded stubborn Doomforged.

Hodir’s Line:
Hodir’s children are usually dark skinned, a bit lighter than Iban, with red glowing eyes. Their hair ranges from dark brown to light brownish and some uncommon dark blonde. Hodir and his own descendance are political masterminds, and usually delve in both smithing and warring. They are centered and stubborn, but lack the physical prowess of Iban or the mental fortitude of Yorri’s line.

Yorri’s Line:

Yorri’s children are lighter skinned, with a light purple tone. Their eyes glow yellow and they have most frequently ginger hair. They are the intellectuals, bookworms and powerful writers and lorekeepers, Yorri’s line is famous for their incredible discovers. They, however, don’t excel in fighting.

THE DOOMFORGED TENETS:

   • You shall not damage or hurt another Doomforged in any way, unless Tenet 1B requires you to do so.

   • You must ensure the Clan and all it’s properties sake for as long as you live.

   • You must never defy the executive orders of the Clan.

   • You must never damage another being unless directly threatened by it, or if it indirectly threatens the Clan’s sake.

   • (The Kingdom Of Urguan) The Kingdom of Kaz’Ulrah is your home -- regardless of it’s state, respect and follow it and their representatives, unless Tenet 1B is breached. (Tenet 1B was breached)

   • The Lore of the Clan is sacred, you must not share it in public light as it would be as giving our treasures away. It is sacred knowledge and only for readily eyes.

Hamnil Frostbeard would be sitting at his table, eating his dinner while in deep thought. He would finish his meal before getting up and going to his desk. Sitting down he would grab his pen and a piece of paper and begin to write.

"My Sons, My brothers, My friends, After long thought and a lot of inner conflict I have come to the decision to pass back the position of clan father to my Blood father Garrond Frostbeard. My reasoning for this is my own but I will tell you this. I do believe the clan was given to me well before I was ready and I have yet to develop some skills that running a clan takes. While I do believe some think me a well suited clan father others do not. I have solved many problems within the clan yet I have undoubtedly created numerous new ones. I may one day regain the title but for now I think it best lies with my father. This change will also give me the opportunity to give my full dedication to being the kings hand to Verthaik II which will be needed greatly in the upcoming months. I will serve as an elder to my father and still have a lot of say in the clan but I will be more focused on helping out the High King. I think it is in the best interest of the clan to have someone more knowledgeable in clan culture and history to fill the position as clan father. Let it be known that Hamnil Frostbeard son of Garrond son of Gorum First of his name and first beardling in history to become clan father of the Frostbeard clan is passing the title on. Armor and weapons clattered around the heroes as they fell from their lofty positions.

The roots, that once held them in a deathly grip, slowly giving way.

As adrenaline slowly faded from their veins, fatigue and reality began to set in.

The Draoi…..the Parasite Druid…..the one that had been assaulting the city for close to a year with infected beasts, was defeated.

But, ultimately, not by their hands.

Before them stood their enemy, impaled by a giant flower. The handiwork of its own kind turning against them.

As they picked themselves up, gathering their wounded and dead, the realization became apparent to them all.

The battle had been won, Parasite was no more, yet…..

...Yeti…

...Black Widow…

...Hemlock…

...Mistletoe...

Their arrival, though, signaled only the start of the war.

He would stop as he came upon a ruin, various skeletons with metal plated arms attached to them could be seen. Around them appeared to be an assembly of deflated red hoods, cracked wooden staves, and ripped and torn boots.

A gilded throne would sit at the head of the ruins, the remains of a skeleton nestled comfortably within it. At the foot of the throne would be a mountain of skull and bones, of which the cloaked man would climb slowly to reach the seat of power, each  skull cracking under his feet representing the fall of those who dared to challenge him in the deadly race for the spectre of authority.

With one swift jerk of the wrist the skeletal remains flew down the mountain of death at his will, to which he reacted by planting himself into the throne. After observing the fields of death at his feet he’d begin to mutter to himself

“The godless gather in their citadel of despair and worship to worship the idol of “freedom”, the idol slaves gather in their cathedrals of pity and sorrow, where all sense of rationality is lost in the blaring sounds of hymns and prayer.

Cities fall to plagues, man makes multiple attempts at ascending from the bounds of his mortality, Kingdoms wage war against eachother, the status quo never changes, does it? Lost in the pursuit of power is the pursuit of weakness, a feeling that perhaps many should feel in this world.

    Despite their allegiances, their “power”, their principalities and other things to their name, none compare to the might of the Crimson Lord. He has bestowed me with immense power to spread his will around this world, to purge it from the scourge of idols of any form, conceptual or otherwise.

Those who preceded me failed to please him, they failed to bring forth the crimson tide of judgement upon those keepers of order. They failed at their calling, which is why I sit on their graves today.”

He would then grip the sides of his red hood and throw it backwards, revealing a pale, sickly man with crimson eyes and a curved scar upon the right side of his face. His hair appeared to be thin and gray.

“But. I will not fail. If this world thinks they’ve seen chaos and pain, just wait until they experience the crimson tide. This world shall burn and be reborn in Crimson, for the coming of our lord.”

It shall come forward.” He declared. He then stood up and walked down the mountain of skeletons and to the outside of the cave. His gaze connected with the sky as he stretched his hand upwards. A  jet streak of red, misty-like energy would shoot into the sky, slowly morphing into an image of a giant skeletal head, visible to those across the lands of Axios. The cloaked figure would merely smirk as he saw his creation form, then disappearing into the dark embrace of the cave.

There was work to be done.

IN the recesses of Veris, between the monotome buildings of wood and leaves, lies a flower shop, its white and green walls shining pristinely. A sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the flowers on the front steps glow with an ethereal quality. Jack Due, a mustached gardener sits at the front door, rocking gently back on forth on his rocking chair.

"Come relax, browse my wares and seek sanctuary in my emporium!" He'd say mistily, the thick summer haze lazily shining off the flowers. 

"Drink coffee, relax and admire my flowers. It's romantic isn't it?"

"I'm your friendly neighborhood gardener. Nor a druid or a mage, my flowers have an almost otherworldly construct."

"Perhaps once I get to know you better, I'll reveal my gardening secrets" Winking slyly, Jack reveals a pair of gardening shears clasped firmly with an expert hand

He'd laugh as he'd clip a rose seemingly made out of rubies, yet as he'd bring it to the light, the crystals would shatter and dissolve, leaving the flower without it's gleam.

"Sadly, all flowers have an end, but what sprouts such beauty will never die."
