 Dearest reader, I would like to start this missive by stating once more, that we, the people of Vortice do not wish for bloodshed. We want peace and to be left alone to be under our own rule. It is not a large ask by any stretch of the imagination.

To get to the real meat of this missive, we wish to break down the flyer this is a direct retort to.

  For the Vikelan people you so love to bring up are no more, you, those of The Rexdom of Lurak hunted them to extinction. Even after you removed them from their lands and told those within our failed peace meeting that you wouldn’t hunt them down after the war in 184 S.A. You implored us to take them in as a matter of fact, stating that no harm would come to those who did so, only to turn around and in 197 S.A. send out a missive demanding the Halflings remove a new vassal leader for his past ties to The Queendom or face war. They did as you asked and regardless of the circumstances that led up to this, you still went through and declared war against them.

  You claim they have nowhere to go but North; even after their dissolution, they had not once come to us. Not after the fall of the Halflings, the disbanding of Silasia, and the coup of Lurin. You dare to use the name which was claimed countless times that only one “Vikelan” remained. Setting themselves for their own self-exile from the lands of Aevos.
 

ARTICLE I: A Right to Arms

  We would like to know what you deem as “soldiers of Vortice” for the only organized force of individuals that could be considered something akin to soldiers are the militiamen of the Talon’s Militia. Unlike the majority of nations, our culture within Vortice can be simplified to everyone pitching in when it comes to a combat encounter.

  Most of, if not all, our citizenry are able-bodied men and women as we have a bustling harbor that requires the vigilance of hard-working Vorticians to work and maintain.

  What does this mean for the universal Right to Self-Defense? The capacity to defend oneself is paramount within the world we live in as a result of the inevitability of Darkspawn attacks. Any nation or Descendant on Aevos can attest to the importance of being able to protect themselves in the event of encountering any vile creature.

ARTICLE  II: The Pursuit of Belief

 This term of surrender is hypocritical coming from a leader whose nation has not subjected its own citizenry to a complete religious conversion to Canonism. With the Shaman Lodge not being disbanded, nor any prosecutions towards Lurak’s own Shaman population, it goes to show you merely guise your allegiances to the Canonist Church for the sake of causing Chaos and Bloodshed.

  The Canonist Church also stands against the Cursed Children, whom we also protect. Raguel’s comments on a friendly approach to Cursed Children cannot be the official stance of the Church as he is not the High Pontiff, and thus, cannot make official decrees on the Church’s behalf.
Additionally, although it is a relatively small population within Vortice, the Domain is home to a minor demographic of Canonist believers.

ARTICLE III: Clarification

  Who are you to demand our whole population to move into our “main sector province” and demand a yearly tax? If the citizenry wishes to move away what are they to do in this situation? We also don’t have enough houses in Talon’s Roost to house everyone within our vassals. 

  Additionally, Vortice has questions about this specific Article:
- What specifically is a “jizyah?” If this is a common term for Canonists to know, shouldn’t we be able to speak with one of our Canonist citizens and ask what this term means? If not, then it is obvious that your governments and the Canonist Church wish to hide behind either legalistic language or outright gibberish.

- What Vortician customs would be considered “agreeable” by the Canonist Church?

ARTICLE IV: Compensation or Extortion

  What is this “Holy Mount” that you speak of? For the last almost seventy-three years that Descendants have settled this continent, the Canonist Church has never referred to any territory within the Unified Domain of Vortice as a “holy site.” Four  High Pontiffs have preceded Ro’eh Tzon and none out of those previous four Pontiffs have mentioned any public interest in our land. What specifically has interested this current Pontiff in our lands when his predecessors have not affixed their gaze toward Vortice?

  Why is Vortice to provide supplies not only for the construction of this “Holy Mount,” but for Lurak’s army as well? Is the Khanate unable to acquire enough supplies for its own military? Why is the Khanate unable to properly supply its army without outside aid? Where is the Rexkhan and his council dedicating and investing all of their nation’s resources?

  If the Luraki Government is unable to answer these questions about their problems regarding basic inventory and proper investment of supplies, then the government should likely consider a change in the leadership of the nation to combat the misuse and misappropriation of supplies and funds.
 

All this said, we aren’t done yet.

To His Royal Highness Antonius,

  I, Lenora Jusmia, write personally. You had told me that we would have another meeting before anything was decided and to be sent out. That you would have two missives drafted, one for peace and one for war. Plans changed, yet the decent thing to do is to try and contact me about it instead of hiding behind the Pontiff saying you were doing his bidding, only informing me months later. I write this publicly due to my lack of trust in your words behind closed doors. You wrote me back finally saying no one wishes the war to end more than you, however, if this were the case we’d be past this point. I can not trust anything upon words spoken, written, or shared. I wished to get the details on the peace missive ironed out.

  I’d also like to mention that we have tried to have meetings with the Church and its people numerous times over the past two decades if not longer. We’d get responses and times set up to meet only for no one to show up. The group overall have proven to us time and time again that you aren’t trustworthy and this “Final Act” is nothing but declaring to the world at large that you aren’t able to pay or equip your own people.

  I wanted to get this done privately and behind closed doors so the eyes of the world were not on either side, but no longer, the ball is in your courts. What say you?

With the war looming over the Southern East Coast of Aevos and the violence that comes with it, The Queendom of Vikela has offered The Unified Domain of Vortice the option to withdraw from conflict with no repercussions, and with this option, the council has deliberated for many months, and has decided to withdraw from combat and take a stance of neutrality between The Rexdom of Lurak and The Queendom of Vikela. We shall offer a home to any displaced, as well as offer aid to the restoration of the Jungles regardless of the outcome of the war with our withdrawal. Vortice wishes to become a state of refuge and allow civilians of either realm to find safety within our walls.

It is our hope that the two parties will soon come to terms with one another and allow harmony to return to  Aevos. Until then, however, Vortice will welcome citizens from both realms so long as neither party disturbs our peace.

Treaty of Shores

As agreed upon on the 10th of The First Seed, year 180 of the Second Age

Between the Unified Domain of Vortice and the Kingdom of Balian

With the signing and promulgation of this document, the Kingdom of Balian and the Unified Domain of Vortice, henceforth referred to as ‘the signatories‘, do agree on their honour to the terms laid forth hereafter.

ARTICLE I: SOVEREIGNTY

I. The signatories hereby concur to acknowledge the autonomy and sovereign status of each of their respective realms. 

ARTICLE II: NON-AGGRESSION

I. The signatories hereby pledge to refrain from engaging in any acts of aggression or military hostilities against one another in any manner.

II. The signatories pledge that citizens of either party shall refrain from accepting military commissions or engaging in mercenary employment from any state with which the other party is involved within a state of war.

III. In addition, this commitment encompasses the preservation of the right to unrestricted movement of their respective citizens between the signatory nations.

IV. The signatories pledge that citizens from either realm are protected while in their respective territories so long as they act within the laws of the respective realms.

ARTICLE III: EXTRADITION

I. The signatories hereby consent to a reciprocal extradition provision, whereby a citizen of either nation, provided there is justifiable cause for their arrest, may be apprehended and subsequently transferred to the jurisdiction of the courts in the territory where their alleged crime transpired.

II. In such instances, an Extradition Request must be formally submitted by the judicial authorities of the first party's state to the Monarch or Sovereign of the second party for approval.

III. Legal representation for the defendant may be provided by the judicial representatives of the nation from which the citizen or subject originates.

ARTICLE IV: DIPLOMATIC EXCHANGE

I. The signatories collectively affirm the principle of diplomatic exchange between their respective governments, aimed at fostering dialogue and mutual understanding. In accordance with this, the Kingdom of Balian shall dispatch a temporary envoy to the Unified Domain of Vortice, and reciprocally, the other party stands ready to attend diplomatic meetings at the behest of The Royal Majesty's Government.

II. The signatories jointly endorse the principle of diplomatic freedom, emphasizing the inviolability and immutability thereof. This entails that envoys and government messengers shall enjoy unrestricted movement within the territory of each party. Furthermore, they shall not be subject to prosecution by local or national authorities for any civil or criminal proceedings unless their home country explicitly waives their entitlement to such immunity.

III. The signatories retain the prerogative to formally expel a diplomat whose actions are deemed to have substantially undermined the national integrity and order of either party's realm.

ARTICLE V: DURATION

I.  The duration of this pact shall be held for 15 years. During the tail end of the duration, a meeting shall be scheduled to determine whether both parties wish to renew or extend the existing treaty.

1. This arrangement will allow the Umbral Vanguard to operate in a similar capacity to the Talons Militia and carry out the law of Talons Roost as deemed needed

2. Umbral guards shall be held to the same standard as a Talons Militia guard, in such they will obey and uphold the law of Vortice and protect her people

3. All members of the Umbral Vanguard who actively operate as guards for Talons roost shall be paid 25 mina a saints week

4. In order to earn the 25 mina a saints week, proof of action must be provided in the form of documentation showing where the Umbral guard had patrolled and the timeframe they had patrolled in the same manner as a Talons Militia guard

5. In the event the Umbral Vanguard are needed for additional jobs payment shall be negotiated beforehand by a Vortician Council member and a Umbral Vanguard member

6. The Umbral Vanguard  have expressed they will take no contracts that compromise the safety of Vortice or its vassals and will be held as such

7. This contract shall not prevent the Umbral Vanguard from taking other contracts so long as they are not in direct conflict with Vortice or its vassals

The signatories further agree that when a Vortician mining network has been established along the eastern coast of the Langkette Range north of the Apostolic Kingdom of Aaun, where evidence of veins of valuable emeralds has been found, the Royal Aaunic Government be allowed unlimited access thereto.

Maelstormic Society Flaws to the Maelstormic claim

  Published on the 10th of the Sun's Smile 69 SA. Two ashen mornings ago we had gotten word from the very recently founded “Maelstormic Society” who feels that they have a claim to the beloved city of Talons Port. They have stated three “reasons” as to why they are seeking out the city as theirs. They claim they come “peacefully” though they have threatened violence at every turn on the sleeping Kraken. These three reasons that they are claiming are fabricated. They wish to manipulate the minds of those that have read their missive. It was the Maelstorms’ who had ABANDONED our people in one of the darkest ages within our history as a group. 

  You give us three reasons as to why you say you feel you ‘’deserve’’ this so-called golden throne? To this, we respond to your three reasons and we give you seven points for why you play a fool's errand! The first three shall be to dispute your so-called reasonings, the remainder of which is just pure facts.

 

Reason I:

  You claim that the Jusmia administration has failed the Domain of Vortice.  The militia started to crumble when Saemos Hidone tried to coup the city and failed, this was under the Maelstorm administration as you should be well aware of. As for the current Militia, we haven’t a need as most citizens in the Port ban together when the city needs to be defended. With the so-called raids that have happened, we have won nearly every time having a minimal loss on our side.  When you stated that we have almost become a “Tribute-State of the plagues of Thieves’’ would you mind elaborating assuming you are going to reply to this as this is frankly something the council finds baffling. We haven’t a clue what you could even be referring to.


Reason II:

  Let us talk about the Protectorate now; which only Monarch Maelstorm wanted. Since the beginning of Monarch Jusmia’s reign, it has been our priority to change the status of the protectorate that First Monarch Vivian Maelstorm signed without an end. Second Monarch Athri Belrose just accepted it as well, doing nothing to change it.  They both felt it was needed for the consistent non-stop raids of Ferrymen and Rustlers while Vivian was in charge.  It is not for you to know the dealings between Vortice and Urguan regarding the protectorate. 


Reason III:

  In the very early days, there were duels in the street; that hasn’t happened since Talons Grotto became Talons Port. There hasn’t been a drunken squabble within our lands since Monarch Vivian’s reign, and the last one in memory contained an intoxicated Peralien starting a fight with Belladonna Maelstorm, as Peralin didn’t take a liking to her banishment and disownment by Vivian Maelstorm. So anything you have to say about tavern fights within our lands is null and void. We will give credit where credit is due and agree with you on how prior leaders' bias did affect how people were treated when it came to enforcing the law. Luckily with the guiding hands of the current council of the Domain of Vortice, the crime rate within the city has been at an all-time low and we couldn’t be more grateful. Having said this, we are only sure it will rise as ne’er-do-wells will end up reading this, wishing to cause mayhem in our peaceful city, which is rather unfortunate.

Furthermore, this is the only time we have heard a complaint about how the laws need to be reformed. Over the years we haven’t had a soul come to us, saying that our laws were unjust.
 

Point I:

  You make Vivian, a proud friend of the Jusima, toil and turn in her grave for making a claim to a Sovereignty that she herself claimed was not tied by blood but by vote. It has been done since before she had brought us to our brief “golden age” that soon rusted. Yet it remained since the first sovereign. Blood is not what dictates Vortice, nor Talons. Yet you dare use her name and flaunt it around like some grand inheritance. You disgrace the name of Maelstorm with your claims! James, your mother would be ashamed of you if she found out what you are doing.


Point II:

  You claim you have a right to the title of Monarch of Vortice and the Sovereign of the Depths, yet none of you have been around the city. Except for a small window of time when James Maelstorm lived within the city at the very start of Monarch Lenora’s reign.  This stay was roughly seven years long.  James, you were barely around and left your home well long-abandoned without any form of notice. It has been 19 years now since you walked away.


Point III:

  The rightful Maelstorm family head, Aerith Majin-Maelstorm, has disowned your groups' leaders, James and Perailen, as official Maelstorms. Your efforts are futile.  Your family thinks that this behavior is disgraceful on the name you so badly wanted to bring honor to.


Point IV:

  There was nothing stated that you wished to fight on the 14th of the First Seed, 69 SA yet you tried to be sneaky as you approach the gates. By saying that you aren’t afraid to use a boomsteel bomb implies that you were prepared to hurt the citizens of Vortice that you said would be fine.  No one had done anything to provoke you. Your threat of a bomb did not strike fear in our hearts because we knew it was a fabrication, just like your claim to the ‘’throne’’ that you so desperately desire.

That being said, don’t openly state you want to burn down homes of the place you wish to take over. We have families here, children that are growing up in loving homes. How dare you wish to take that away from anyone.  You will NOT succeed.


Point V:

  While you were here on 14th of the First Seed, 69 SA , people among the Maelstormic Society were quoted saying “Man, F*ck Vivian! May she writhe in her grave knowing that we will destroy the piece of sh!t. ‘New Talons’ that she wanted to build up.” You can’t even get your people to rally behind the Maelstorm that was ruling the city that you wish to “take back” in her family’s name. The same man was quoted saying “When we return we WILL restore things to the rightful way they once were.” You do know that things are the same way they have mostly always been, and the fact that you feel a place that has been around for over a century wouldn’t change over time is ridiculous.


Point VI:

  You using fear tactics will not work on the people of Vortice. You may try to weaken our resolve, though your attempts to scare our citizens only make us stronger as we will not fall for lies and deceit. The gall you have to claim that your “society” rules the people of this port is truly appalling, especially when you run around our walls like chickens without heads trying so desperately to find a way in. Only for us to see your attempts then you flee.

  The profanities used were only by one on our side, and several on yours. You call us cowards, for not fighting you. As stated in Point IV, you said you had a bomb that you weren’t afraid to use.  Even with that being a ruse we are smart enough to value our lives a bit more than having a petty fight with your group who feels entitled to things that aren’t yours to be entitled to. You say that it was for honor, you have a sad way of showing that. We had every single right to stay within our home from attackers.

  As for you claiming we called for help from far and wide, you thought it was best to try your appalling honor duel at a time when we didn’t have many people about, assumingly assuming that it would boost your chances to get the results you wished to attain. Once more stating you thought we were scared, we were being tactful against your misguided plan, and writing yourself in circles.


Point VII:

  Your whole group is acting like a child throwing a temper tantrum being told no to the toy they are being denied. Please for all our sakes grow up as we don’t want to deal with children throwing hissy fits.
 

In conclusion, they are a group without any basis or rights to an elective throne. They themselves claimed they are willing to harm innocent people for this facade of theirs for greedy conquest. They are in truth nameless brigands who utilize lies, threats, and bickering, finalizing it with taunts akin to that of children when they realize they cannot get what they want. We know who you are, former Maelstorms, and where you live. So do yourself and Almaris a favor and cease your continuous embarrassment that clouds your mind and stains this land. Leave us to our own devices as your little game of “happy little accidents’’ ends here.

A New City

As time goes on, plans for a redesign of the Capital city are underway, having been redone over and over to be sure it is the best it can be. As the plans begin to finish up, more pictures of the design will be shown for the citizens to voice their opinions.

Many of our numerous contents of governance have gone through a drastic rework! Our Internal Affairs Office, for instance, is currently in the wake of new policies regarding homes and land within the State of Vortice. Simplification of Law

Under the hand of Congress Members Silas and Blair, a simplification of law is in order! No more will the citizenry be fined for eating cherries on certain days of the week. Nor will all be subject to laws with no backing. Our citizen’s interest will be first!

Decreed upon this saint’s day, does do Auditor of Internal Affairs Blair C. Fester invites all who bear confidence in guildwork, company, and of the sort to take land upon Vortice. For zero fees and regulations, as of this writing, may individuals seek and lay claim to a fair size of land for whatever purpose they require. Event Committee requires Members

The Event Committee looks to grow, allowing for more creativity and ideas to flow. Please contact Gusiam Jusmia if you wish to aid in the endeavor for more festivals and balls.

Lord-Commander

The current Minister of Defense for Vortice, they oversee the proceedings and operations of the State Army. Being the Domain's Representative of Foreign Affairs as well, they speak with other nations on the topics of joint training, and things of the like. They may closely aid those in the Army as well, whenever they see fit.

Marshal

The 2nd in command, just behind the Lord-Commander. In the absence of the Lord-Commander, the Marshal shall act as the commander-in-chief for all of the Army’s affairs. Oftentimes they are the Legislacerator of Justice, and are the one to handle acts of crime within the city that require investigation.

Captain

The highest rank one can obtain within the State-Army’s chain of command. They would lead patrols, conduct larger investigations, and hold training’s for their soldiers. If proven to be fit enough, a Captain may be knighted on the accounts of valor, bravery, and courage in service to the Crown. They gained the nickname of ‘Red Sash’.

Sergeant

A Sergeant is a grizzled veteran of the State-Army. They are noncommissioned officers of the State-Army tasked with conducting small patrols, investigations, and to train recruits alongside the Captain. Given the nickname ‘Black Sashes’, they may gain a promotion after three years (3 IRL weeks), and must do at least three tasks given by the Lord-Commander.

Guardsman

Guardsmen are those who have passed their initial training and have grown accustomed to the chain-of-command and workings of the State-Army. Guardsmen is the standard rank of the army and makes up the bulk of its personnel. The time spent within this rank all depends on the person, and if they choose to pursue more within the military. Guardsmen must be in the military and active for at least two years (2 IRL weeks) before a promotion can be given. If deemed worthy of a promotion, a Guardsman must complete a task given by the Lord-Commander.

Recruit

Those who have recently enlisted into the State-Army. After a year passes and they have completed their initial training, a Recruit may be promoted to Guardsman. Their investment in the army is one that should be met with activity and motivation. If a Recruit is to fall short or disrespect a senior member of the chain-of-command their probability of promotion may slip away. Recruits must be in the military and active for at least one year (IRL week) before a promotion can be given.

The State Army of Vortice is now recruiting! All positions are to be paid, so long as the time actively on duty is known.

There has been restructuring to the military, to give it a much more simple feel, and more of a chance to genuinely allow for citizens and recruits room for growth as they progress through the ranks. Starting from recruit, you make your way up through hours, work, and determination, hopefully attaining the rank of guardsman after a year of service to the Unified Domain. From then, after two more years of service,  you could rise to the status of a sergeant, able to train recruits and help your captain out with less daunting tasks. After three years of service as a sergeant, you could then rise even further, gaining the title of captain- the highest rank that can be given to Vortice’s guardforce!

And, who knows? After years of work as a guard captain, you, a member of the State Army of Vortice, could rise to the call of knighthood, joining the Order of the Hawk, on the account of valor, bravery, and courage, if the Congress of Vortice see fit, getting a chance to grow even higher in rankings. Think you could take it? Serving over eight years in the Order, you could rise up to become a Knight-Sergeant, giving orders to other knights within the order and even taking on the responsibilities of a sergeant or captain in the military in the event they may be absent from their post.

Knights may take 1 squire and 2 pages under their wing, to teach them about chivalry, kindness, honor and valor.

The pay of a new recruit starts at ten mina’s per year, rising by five with each promotion. If deemed worthy, pay may be raised without a promotion, then raised at a normal rate if a promotion were to be given.

The only requirements to join are to be at least seventeen years of age. Race, gender, orientation, and social status are all disregarded. If you do not know how to fight, training will be given to all without discrimination. If you know how to fight? Perfect! You can help train your fellow recruits.

Since its insurrection in Arcas, the people of Talons Grotto then, and now, the Sovereign State of Talon’s Port has maintained its position of neutrality in the face of adversities, contempt and the larger evils of warfare that has always plagued the land of the descendants.

Our people, and leaders, stood with solitary against such strife, as an independent community that was faithful to itself, and from such time immemorial, we have received diplomats from Oren. We have stayed true to our intentions, and have preserved as a community kindred community, with empathy towards our own.

It would be fitting, for us to write, that the people of the Sovereign State of Talon’s Port are a family, enduring together and surviving the challenges that have come our way. With such experiences, there has also been a radiance, where our own have found rapport and steadfast allies that are not masquerading under the guise of untruthfulness.

Our relationship with Elysium has demonstrated a certain earnesty, a strengthening bond that has grown since the beginning of Almaris. An invaluable sense of camaraderie between the communities where our people mingled freely and with little issue, and helped each other in times of need with a smooth flow of communication between our leaderships.

Such as the Metinan Company, consisting of the forces of Luciensburg that berated and abused the very people that hired their services, and degraded the people of Yong Ping in a manner that many of us have not even witnessed before. Shocked. We ended their contract, and they used it to scream litanies of human supremacy, and engaged in an attempt to snuff our people in audacious assaults.

Senseless sadism under the guise of religious evangelizing seems to be the status quo that Luciensburg has found to prey upon the weaker on Almaris and force onto them their religion or thrust onto them death and violence, inciting only the worst things to come.
 

That is no way to thrive when rabid actions and such wayward declarations are being clamoured to be recognised, and there comes a time when one must act.
 

To The Holy Kingdom of Orenia,

We, the government and people of Talon’s Port, are appalled by your conglomerate actions in this current war. What you have wrought upon the Duchy of Elysium is something that should never be repeated, lest celebrated and cheapened into some presage and regurgitated into victorious notices from raiding . It is unspeakable to kill innocent women and children with absolutely no gain under the guise of harming ‘morale’ and forcing other communities under the sword. You stand to blame, purely, for demonstrating the same sardonic Orenia drugged in your cynical smugness and arrogance to demonstrate your supposed supremacy as a nation.

  You accuse those who deny you of barbarism, and yet display the very acts you condemn them for. Slaughtering those who cannot defend themselves, caught defenseless within the onset of battle when you were the raiders in question.; Forcing them and blaming them to be in the crossfire, you make a target of those undeserving. You kill and maim both mentally and physically the very children meant to herald our future.You speak as though there is a young and newer generation that does not exist. It does, and it is their very siblings and friends that you are bringing to harm and belittling in grotty demonstration of supposed civilities.  The hypocrisy your Kingdom holds is something unbelievable to those who spectate from the sidelines, as well as the classism, racism, and sexism. We condemn you for your horrendous and unjust actions upon the Duchy of Elysium, those you formerly beheld as fellow descendant-kind.

Please consider the Non-Aggression pact formed on as you would call it, 7th of Owyn's Flame 1802, expunged. Our treatise shall be torn to its very fibre, redacting any notion of its further implementation and hereby ceasing the pact. Both our nation and council members alike have been nothing but insulted by the insidious remarks of your people. Your men say our city is a slum, yet we’ve none who are forced to live on the streets. Many have worked to uphold our name, and thus will not withdraw in the face of tyrannical torment. We, Talon’s Port, are as much of a nation as anyone else, and will not tolerate being treated as lesser.

~The Sixth of The Grand Harvest, Year 10 of the Second Age~

A citizen is defined by an individual who resides in a city or town, someone who enjoys the privileges provided by the government, and someone who is thus loyal because of it.

You, the Metinan company have been nothing but the opposite of loyal. From the start you have backstabbed us, you ridiculed us, you thought of us as weak and you pried your claws into that falsification.

None of us of Talons Port never wanted you here in the first place, the audacity to think you could take it upon yourselves to claim that you were helping us willingly when in fact we all know that you wouldn't help without a price.

Even then the first time you were here, you were paid thirty mina and never fell through with the deal we agreed upon. Causing commotion and more trouble for us in front of the Great Rex of Krugmar. I myself had to lick a decapitated goblin head to prove that we were the right group to be trusted.

From then you have caused nothing but more problems for us, doing the work of guards without authorization, making fun of the kind people of the Tai-Ping district from how they look and their way of life to the point where Tai-Ping retaliated, They have indeed harmed a council member of their own choice,  they are even willing to break the law in any form to appease their clients. Even if it includes harming or even murdering another citizen within the walls for the right price.

There have been numerous occasions where citizens reported the Metinan company and Tai-Ping has personally requested the removal of them from the city from the day they arrived.

We predicted back then that the Metinan company would retaliate in some form when we are to kick them out eventually. Which in all honesty, when they decided to visit Talons Port for the first time, our military lacked in all forms. But since then myself and The Minister of Defense have worked hard with all of our effort, strategizing, gaining resources, gaining new members, gaining new allies. Now we have the ability to finally enforce as a whole and finally go through what everyone has been telling us to do, Which is to banish the Metinan company for their wrong doings. 

We apologize to the people of Tai-Ping for not acting upon it sooner, though that's the reasoning why we couldn't act upon it in the first place.

Furthermore, since the company is banished as we also seized their property which to be presumed it was used for non-home like purposes. Shall it also be known that with their banishment, it also includes the removal of their citizenship as a whole by default even if it wasn't stated in the document. Like, How can individuals be citizens if they're banished? Truth be told they cant. 

Anyways, we do not persist in hostile action towards the Metinan Company as their own doing has caused us to retaliate. We do not wish to harm you outside the borders of land which house Talons Port, though entering within the borders will result in the authorization of execution which has been stated in the original banishment.

Any form of further retaliation from the Metinan company will further prove our means of banishment, as at this point the only thing they could do is attack us physically or further try to soil our reputation which we won't listen to and is most definitely slander. Though as a warning for any leader of any sort who reads this, whether you be a part of a government in some form, or even the leader of your own company, it doesn't matter where you are from or what you are a part of. As a warning from Talon’s Port to you, the Metinan company will cause you more issues and they cannot be trusted.

We of Talons Port and the Militia will not seek to rectify our actions since we believe its justifiable and lastly we of Talons Port kindly like to say f*ck off and never return. Thank you!

Banishment Notice: The Metinan Company

On the 10th of The First Seed, Year 10 of the 2nd Age, the Militia has seen it fit that the banishment of those within, and closely involved with the Metinan Company are banished from the city and it’s land. If they are seen around the city or within, they will be an immediate kill-on-sight for the following reasons:

An attempt to harm a council member, to cause distress to citizens of the city, and their willingness to break the law for their clients, as it has been done before.

Their property within the city will be seized as well.

We clearly know the faces and names of four notable members in particular.
