The Sylric name has been around for centuries. The founder, Thandir Sylric I, was one of the original Snow Elves, having followed the Tundraks to Lomal and his World Altar. However, due to the scattering of the Snow Elves, most of the history from then to The Realm of Anthos was lost and has never been recovered.

The Sylrics found themselves to be weak and unskillful because of the drastic changes to their bodies, so the head of the family, Althidon Sylric, sought out hard labor for his family namesake. He drilled into his heritage that they will be the ones to become the backbone of the Princedom, not only through hard labor but also through the military. Throughout the years they were always the first ones to the mines or to the forest and always the last ones to leave the forge. Working became their blood and thus from then on all Sylrics, male and female alike, came to be among the strongest of the Snow Elves. Althidon, however, never left Anthos, having died there and named Thandir Sylric II as the new Patriarch.

Thandir II lead the Sylrics’ into Athera, where they once again backed the Tundrak Bloodline. During their time in Athera, the Sylrics did the work of thousands of men with only 300 strong among them, their names ringing loud throughout the Princedom of Fenn. As all races left Athera, Thandir was still the head of the Sylric namesake and followed the Tundraks to their new home, Tar’sil, on The Isles of Vailor. Whilst living in Vailor, Thandir II found love and marriage. He had two sons and two daughters, a rareity within the Snow Elves. His firstborn Ailduin was named his heir, followed by a daughter by the name of Arthion, a second son by the name of Selgauth, and finally another daughter by the name of Velatha.
When the Iron Uzg attacked The Princedom, the Sylrics lost more than ¾ of its family for defending the outsider city of Tar’sil. All those who survived fled from the Princedom, with Thandir II and Ailduin, his son and heir, remaining, having felt obligated to stay and carry out their steadfast heritage of supporting the Snow Elves in their entirety.

As Vailor came to an end, Thandir II passed away on the journey to The Isles of Axios where Ailduin was left to shoulder the Sylric household, his siblings all abandoning him and the rest of their Snow Elven kin…
Ailduin has been the patriarch of the Sylrics since then, singlehandedly reclaiming their position as the hardiest and most industrious of the Snow Elves. By doing so he brought a new age for the Sylrics’, with some of his siblings even returning to the Princedom; at long last proud to bear the name Sil’siimah.

His son Thandir III would return to Fenn shortly after to pay his respects and accustom himself to his family while a new Patriarch lead them. Airebys Sylric, nephew to Celaena and Ailduin Sylric, would take up the position to carry on Ailduin’s legacy for their family.

Sylrics are known to be hardworking, determined and very focused at everything they do, whether that is being a soldier of the Ivae’fenn or taking up a role among the ranks of the Bilok’thuln. Thus, many would consider them more serious than other bloodlines, contrasting the notably carefree Tathvirs. However when asked a question, Sylrics tend not to think too long or hard about an answer to it and tend to blurt out what comes to mind and leave it at that. They are known for being rather straightforward and to the point. Despite their often brash behaviors, Sylrics tend to be kind and respectful towards their kin. The Griffin, their sigil, perfectly reflects a Sylric’s state of mind: loyal, noble, and determined.

With all of their hard work, Sylrics tend to be muscular, with a strong, bulky, but well-built build to them. They typically have white to silver hair, but there have been some with blonde hair.

Because of their industrious capabilities paired with their larger builds, the Sylrics are often seen lugging large quantities of raw materials to-and-fro around Tahu’lareh--the fruits of their labour. Thanks to this reputation, Sylrics often find themselves seated among the Grand Council filling the position of Head of the Bilok'thuln, also known as the Grand Exchequer. It is not uncommon to see a Sylric mining or working in general, providing the Princedom with all that is needed to thrive.

Alongside this reputation of being hard workers, the Sylrics have a reputation for being good craftsmen and craftswomen, creative and otherwise progressive thinkers, and scholarly patrons; their expertise spanning a wide variety of professions. Many take up blacksmithing due to the extensive family history of smiths contributing to war efforts and defenses.

When not working on their craftsmanship, nearly all Sylrics participate within the Ivae’Fenn: the military of the Fennic people. Sylrics have also been known to serve as military advisors, favored due to their blunt honest nature paired with their calculating mindset.

To stare down a Sylric upon the battlefield is no comforting feat, as their strong posture, large size, and choice of weaponry makes for an intimidating sight. Sylrics tend to wear heavier armor so that they can last longer on the front lines, much like most soldiers of the Ivae’fenn. When a siege is taking place, Sylrics are generally manning the siege engines, specializing in their craft and operation.

When each and every Sylric reaches the age of 30, a coming of age ceremony known as Bilok’ihnsil, is held to prove that they can be truly called a Sylric. This ceremony is much different then Wyrvun’ahern as it is a trial of the child’s skills that they have to offer the bloodline. Each child must venture outside of the walls of the Princedom and forge themselves their own personal weapon. They must gather all the materials themselves and by themselves alone. No help shall be offered to them. They must build their own forge and use what they gather to create a beautiful piece of weaponry, whether it be a greataxe, a warhammer, or even the smallest dagger. When they finish and feel that it is worthy of the Sylric name, they are to return to the Princedom and present it first to their father and then to the patriarch of the Sylrics. Once their weapon is approved by both their father and the patriarch then a hunt is held to test the durability of the weapon. A feast is then followed, provided by the spoils of the hunt. As the feast ends the patriarch approaches the child, presenting him the Sylric Insignia, to be branded on to their weapon as well as stitched onto their cloak. This is to mark that they are now a true Sylric. Some at this time opt to receive a tattoo of their first kill with their weapon, as a commemoration of the start of their journey as a Sylric.

The Ithrandos were a well-established and relied-upon family during the early days of the Fennic people, and provided one of the few sources of food to sustain their famished kin. However, with time, this influence diminished into obscurity. Aluin was an extraordinary hunter, bringing in far more game than his peers, and was eventually designated the Head Hunter of Fenn, serving loyally for hundreds of years until his demise. His downfall occurred at the hands of the exact beast he was hunting; according to old chronicles, the beast that would take him also fell, its size incomprehensible. It came to be known as Fih’krafeh. Its bones were used to mend Aluin's damaged bow. With Aluin's demise, it was his son, Valmyr, who took over his position. Over generations, the Archon role was passed down to each son, but it only appeared as though history was repeating itself as they all, one way or another, faced their end. A century later, Arion, son of Aluin II, who was soon to pass, transferred the mantle to his son, Valmyr II. Yet, with the declining need for hunters, he grew resentful - and his post eventually became redundant as farms took over as the primary food source. This bitterness ultimately erupted into wrath, resulting in an outburst aimed at an unknown Atmorice, prompting his resignation as Archon — the weight resting on either Alisaela or Sarya. The former was too laid back, and so Sarya was appointed Archon of the steadily fading Bloodline. However, the new settlement brought new optimism, and a call was soon sent to all roaming Ithrandos, signaling a new beginning.

Caring for their relatives and kin, they are prone to ensuring that everyone has what they require, such as shelter, food, and anything else that is deemed necessary. Further, they are capable of hiding in most northern environments and stalking their prey for as long as necessary before a swift execution. They, like the other Mali'fenn, adhere to Isvinity's principles and beliefs, as they owe their lives to Wyrvun. The Ithrandos are a proud family who hold their forefathers in high regard, always striving to live up to their predecessors' expectations. Along with this pride comes a short temper and great competitiveness, which has prompted conflicts among the Bloodlines on several occasions. Survival is at their heart, and as a result, they are distrustful of people who are not their kin, particularly those who are not within Wyrvun's Domain.

Many religious rituals are carried over into common practice for all lineage members. The newly formed Order of Vigilants, which includes many Ithrandos relatives, confirms religion as an integral aspect of being an Ithrandos. Most Ithrandos join the Vigilants based on their present occupation, with hunters joining the War Vigilants and farmers and gatherers joining the Peace Vigilants. This extends to the conviction that Wyrvun is supreme in Fin’hesin, his domain. The Ithrandos are certain that the frozen regions belong to the Mali'fenn and that they possess it in its entirety; as a result of this conviction, they have become acclimated to it and can exploit it in ways that other people and even most Mali'fenn cannot.

This training often begins with the fundamentals of hand-to-hand combat and proceeds to ranged weaponry and hunting practice before progressing to more advanced combat and weapon training. To indicate that an Ithrandos has completed their training, they would be assigned to hunt and kill a beast on their own, utilizing all of their expertise. Following this, the young Ithrandos would often join the Ivae'fenn to improve their combat skills while learning the art of battlepainting from an elder Ithrandos.

As a confirmation, they are given their first braid. The Archon or the parents of the younger relative will entrust them with taming any type of animal. Although it is more typical to anticipate them to return with a greater beast than anything frail, this is not a requirement, as it depends on what they can muster. The Ithrandos confront several challenges that lead to them slaying their prey rather than learning to respect and tame the creatures that roam the land. This process demands a great deal of patience, and it will determine if the younger individuals genuinely resemble an Ithrandos. This is not the only distinguishing trait of being an Ithrandos; inside the bloodline, a concealed hierarchical system exists, with members of the bloodline gaining influence within the family by achievements both on and off the battlefield, earning them lineage titles or 'nicknames.' In addition, unlike other Mali'fenn bloodlines, hair plays a crucial role in an Ithrandos' rank, with braids earned from performing certain tasks, indicating that the more braids one has - the more they have accomplished.

The longbow's string is tightly wound and secured in place. Its tough bowstring is composed of the beast's tail, held together by the two ends of the bow, which stands roughly six feet tall. Scrutiny reveals an inscribed sentence in ancient Elven, albeit it is nigh unintelligible. The grip was wrapped in brown, reddish leather, giving the ranger a sturdier and more composed grasp of the weapon. If drawn felicitously, its arrows soar through the air, accompanied by a whistling sound.

The Atmorices were one of the founding bloodlines within the Mali’fenn. It all began with Siol Atmorice, the first woman of the bloodline. She was one of the original Snow Elves, one who went through the world altar and Wyrvun’s Blessing. As she was blessed, Siol is rumored to have seen Wyrvun, whereby the Aengul gave Siol some instructions of her own. Wyrvun told her to ensure that the Mali’fenn do not stray from Wyrvun’s blessing, and to keep a watchful eye on them. To let them stray to the path of darkness, will be the fall of the Snow Elves. Siol agreed to this and soon after she was blessed, Siol became the first High Priestess of the Mali’fenn. That was, until her death. They say she died of illness, but they remember her last words. “Let me not be remembered as a coward, but for the courage and rights we have all fought for.” Since then, the Atmorices have held high expectations to become priests and priestesses, with most becoming high in the ranking. That was their tradition. In revent there has been many changes within the bloodline and many events to go alongside this. The betrayal of Katrina Atmorice saw the first Patriarch Varan Atmorice become the leader of the bloodline for around five Elven months. After Varan had decided it was time to step down, his eldest sibling decided to lead the bloodline, this being Alenia Atmorice, Grand Princess of Fenn. After a while, she stepped down due to being Grand Princess of Fenn at the time. The current leader of the Bloodline is Zalerya Atmorice, Guardian of the Ivae’fenn and a Vigilant of War.

The Atmorices have a wide range of heights ranging from around 5’4” to a little over 6 foot. They are often considered to be in the middle when comparing heights of the Snow Elves. Typical of most Mali’Fenn kin they would usually have a rather athletic and muscular build as that is expected of them in the service of the Ivae’Fenn. The common color for an Atmorice’s hair, is pure white to blonde though very rarely, silver. Their eye color comes in silver, blue, and very rarely, purple.

A common Atmorice is usually discovered to be dignified, eloquent, cultured, well educated, and respectful towards their snow elven kind, putting their main focus into their work and to see and ensure the success of the Snow Elves. The Atmorices consider family to be one of the most important things in their lifestyle, often showing to be very protective of their family members. They are also protective of their Snow Elven kin and would often put their life on the line to ensure their safety. The Atmorices often consider accomplishments to be apart of their lifestyle, taking their work into serious consideration. Towards other races, however, they are untrusting, even hostile, in particular, to the other elves. The reason for this being that the Atmorice bloodline make up and focus on one of the main aspects to the Mali’fenn culture, religion. This religion being the one in which follows Wyrvun. Furthermore, centuries of warfare against the Mali’mira have led to hostility towards such outsiders. You can usually find an Atmorice studying or working hard to accomplish their goals. The Atmorices are rather honorable as well, despite looking rather cold towards others. They especially honor their previous ancestors, taking what experiences they have had and learning from it.

This makes them skillful politicians. As part of their religious fervor, they are often adept at motivating the Ivae’fenn for battle. For some who know the Atmorices, they consider the bloodline to be “snakes”. The reason for this is due to their strict views and masterful political prowess.

The Mali'fenn would, for years, disappear from the Fringe - its young wielder Serelia one of many. The blade, and its owner, would not be seen for over a hundred years thereafter, when the princess would suddenly reappear battered and muddied at the castle gates of Tar'sil. While she would leave the Princedom days later, the blade was left with her nephew that day. This weapon of war, as spotless as the day it was forged, serves as a physical reminder of the many tragedies of the Mali'fenn, and some say it echoes the wishes of a thousand long-dead Elves when swung.

Hailing from the snowy, mountainous expanse of an icy realm, the Tathvir are an ancient Fennic Bloodline originating in the Princedom of the same name. Their founder, one Amara Tathvir, was among the first Snow elves to fight alongside her frostborn kin in bravery and valor. At their side, this progenitor did her utmost to eliminate any terror threatening to assail the defensive walls of her people, both physical and moral. When the extensive Fennic Princedom was firmly established, the Tathviric bloodline thrived for uncounted years within its bounds, with many of its scions becoming some of the greatest Snow Elven healers known in the histories. More than a few of them also bore blades, bows, spears and axes to defend their people in the many wars they fought with other powers. Many years had passed before their beloved Matriarch Amara met her unfortunate demise. Her leadership was so exalted in its time that being deprived of its guiding hand sent the Tathvir into a time of confusion and strife. This short age, however, did not last overly long. Since her passing, the bloodline as a whole decided to begin the tradition of electing an Archon.

	Overview

Of all the Mali’fenn bloodlines, the Tathvirs are the most contrasting when compared to their kin. Tracing their heritage back to Amara Tathvir, the family is riddled with ‘fenn sporting a far more compact physique. Like many of their kin, locks of silvery-white hair are commonly accompanied by turquoise eyes and occasionally ringed in gold, though this proves to be a rare feature in the family. Because of their shorter stature and lighter frame, the Tathvirs are well known for their duty as scouts and skirmishers, often leading them to opt for lighter weapons such as bows and daggers.

Due to the limited practicality of Tathvirs on the front line, many choose to take up professions of support such as healers and apothecaries. Their lithe nature as well as professions of choice can often be to blame for their light-hearted personalities and joyous attitudes. Of all their kin, they are certainly the most tolerant to the rest of the world, often acting as the cultural bridge for their people.

It is not uncommon for the Tathvirs to adopt foreign customs in an attempt to better understand their Mali cousins, but despite the willingness to travel and embrace the vast world, many Tathvirs are content with staying amongst their kin in hopes of protecting the ones they cherish. Politically, the Tathvirs are Malinist, holding favorable views of the other Elves yet wishing for political non-intervention in their affairs.

For their sigil, they take the otter and associate with the colors of blue, teal, and gold.

Isvinity is the most common known religion followed by the Mali’Fenn within the bloodline, most becoming devout worshippers of Wyvurn himself. Throughout the years, some have remained faithful to the Aengul of the Deep Cold, seeking guidance and hope through acts of prayer and offerings at different wayshrines. It is said that the Mali’Fenn owe thanks to none other than Wyrvun for their sanity and the very lives they live.

During their years away from their icy kin, the few remaining members of the bloodline sought a home in foreign lands after the destruction of their freezing Princedom. During their time within Amathea, few of them began their rites to join the Anuh’wysae Tennallar, also known as the Priesthood of Thalassa. Upon completion of their rites, they would become priests for the Sea Goddess herself, aiding in traditional prayers and rituals with their fellow Sea Sisters.

	Values

Family is valued above all else to the bloodline. To protect and provide for their family is of the highest priority, and one that each member is expected to uphold. If a member were to betray their loyalty to the family in any way, they must suffer the consequences and/or punishment given by the Elders. Common punishment given to the traitor is to relearn what it means to value family, unless a much more extreme punishment is called for.

Honor is held in high regard amongst the Tathvirs, as it is with many of their Fennic cousins. Tathvir honor is often propped up by the pride they hold for their family name and heritage. They believe in the values of Fennic culture as well as the many customs that have grown from it, thus leading them to hold respect for those within high standing amongst the ‘Fenn. Whether friend or foe, a Tathvir will do their utmost to hold respect for those around them and uphold any agreements they may make.

Survival is generally seen as the willingness to do what is necessary. From a young age, most Mali’Fenn are taught how to survive in their harsh climates, though as a Tathvir, they are also taught how to survive through many other ways such as hunting, combat, even something as simple as how to keep a secret. Even if by other standards it is considered immoral, the Tathvir will do whatever it takes to ensure their loved ones are safe and looked after. The survival of the family dictates that this comes before all else.

Elves born of the Tathvir commonly share the same set of physical traits, depending on the circumstances of their birth. An elf carrying the Tathvir genes would be pale in skin tone, often with a soft pink hue to their cheeks. Their hair is typically straight, or with a subtle curl, silver or white in color. Paired with their unique turquoise eye color with a thin gold ring around the outer iris is a sure sign of a Tathvir member - most commonly the Elder generation. The modern generation of the bloodline carries the same physical traits, with shades of blue commonly seen for eye color.

From the beginning, the Tathvirs have accumulated many different professions and hobbies of all kinds. At a young age, the Archon or a few of the Elders will teach their children what each herb does and how to use it in various salves and tonics. Uncommon herbs and ways of healing are also used if no other tonic or salve will do the trick. If a Mali’Fenn is injured, it is said that a Tathvir will know the answer to whatever ails them through years of research and experimenting.

During the celebration, the members of the bloodline will say a prayer of protection and well being over the family before being presented with gifts and gathering for a feast. ⬩Death is a dreadful occasion that isn’t often celebrated. Within the Tathvir Bloodline, one is given the option to be buried in the crypts with a small ceremony to follow, or for their body to be cremated. Should one choose to be cremated, part of their remains will be solidified into a colorful marble, be it their favorite color or one of the colors representing the bloodline. The marble is then added to the Mural of Lost Souls, an otter shaped wooden plaque. On the back of the plaque, the initials of each lost bloodline member is etched into the wood. After a new marble is added to the mural, a small blessing is said before a feast is held in the deceased’s honor. This was a tradition started after the passing of Rothilion Tathvir.

Along with the traditional Fennic wedding, the engaged couple would be required to show their acceptance of hardship and willingness to overcome it together, by venturing out into the frozen woods around Ikur’fiyem to survive together for an entire month.. Upon returning to the city, the couple must present an offering to the Archon, one that proves that each person has learned the family ways and truly wishes to become one with another. They must also return with a slain beast to show they can provide for their family. Only then would they truly celebrate coming together.

One may not assume the position of Archon without approval of the Bloodline.

	Genesis

In days of yore, the Araaloq were led by wife and husband Taegen and Ruehnar Araaloq. The family not only lived, but they thrived during this time. Often they would partake in events and festivities designed to bring the family closer to one another, usually in forms of expeditions or feasts. This jovial time of peace lasted for many years among the family.

However, whispers of war soon found its way towards Fenn, and thus, the Araaloq. The family found itself in a state of unrest as Taegen and Ruehnar contemplated how to address the rumors, desperate to know how they’d respond to the potential threats of war. When Taegen and Ruehnar spoke, however, they found themselves at a crossroads. Ruehnar wished to fight alongside the Fennic people in the war, while Taegen believed they were unfit to join any battles.

“It is our duty to fight with our people, they need us!” Ruehnar declared.
“Our family is young and inexperienced, we’ll be slaughtered like cattle!” Taegen begged.

Despite the matriarch’s pleas, Ruehnar was unwilling. He declared to the rest of the Araaloq that if they didn’t fight alongside him in the war, they’d be disowned on the spot, left in the streets to starve. Thus, the family became equally divided. Half of them were in favor of fighting in the war, much alongside Ruehnar’s stance, while the other half found it an unwise death sentence, like Taegen’s.

Infighting pursued for many weeks. Tensions rose as each side of the family argued with one another, much like the two who led it. However, a single letter marked the start of a very terrible age for the family.

It was discovered that Ruehnar had been killed. Dakaith, his brother, claimed he was found dead in the rut of a road outside of Fenn. Devastated, the family joined to mourn the death of their patriarch. Taegen then declared she would continue leading, more than willing to stray away from the expectations Ruehnar had set upon them for the war. Finding that there was no one else to look to, the family obeyed, only for Dakaith to speak out against the decision.

“You spit in Ruehnar’s name by doing this! How dare you!” Dakaith snapped at the widow before storming away with the slam of a door.

The family fell quiet, whispering among themselves at the sudden outburst of the brother. They were soon dismissed for the night, Taegen then retiring to sleep herself.

It was not long before she found herself assailed in her own home, Dakaith deciding that Taegen was unfit to lead the Araaloq name. Thus, the two relentlessly fought each other, each receiving a series of bruises and broken bones while the floor grew sticky with blood after many minutes. Then, after Taegen’s hands found themselves around the throat of Dakaith, she dug her fingertips in and squeezed down. He gasped for air as his hands attempted to pry hers away, fingertips clawing at her face in an attempt to loosen her grip. After one last attempt for breath, his body soon went limp, once pale and pristine face turned a shade of purple while blood ran from his mouth and nose.

Taegen recoiled in realization of what she had done, soon calling to the rest of the family. When they heard what happened, they sobbed, heartbroken and dispirited. However, she convinced them to stay with her, that they would recover from such devastation and live on as they once did.

From there, she documented the events that unfolded that day into three books, promising that as long as the Araaloq name was in possession of those books, their history would never be forgotten. The books were to be safeguarded and passed down among the bloodline in order to ensure history was not erased.

Many years since then, the family did not die in a blaze of glory, but rather fizzled out slowly. Each leader became less reliable than the previous, members of the family disappearing and leaving without notice. Soon, the books were lost, scattered among the realm without a trace — the very thing Taegen feared most.

Centuries passed before Darcassan, unknowingly the great grandson of Taegen and Ruehnar, married a woman named Kindrel after each of their respective families found it beneficial for one another. While the marriage was done of necessity rather than a true bond, the two found themselves slowly connecting, soon falling in love with each other.

However, history repeats itself. Once more did whispers of war find its way to the snow elven people, then to Darcassan and Kindrel. He believed it was his duty to fight with the people of Fenn, adamant on joining the ranks of the warriors to aid them. Kindrel warned him not to, finding it in their best interest to stay out of the war. For a short time, he acquiesced, heeding the word of his wife.

Such a promise didn’t last long, however, as Darcassan began to dabble in unfavorable and questionable activities regarding the war. Despite Kindrel’s urges to turn him away from such, they quickly split apart after a terrible event unfolded, though the details of such an event remain hidden.

After the fall of Fenn on Arcas, Darcassan offered himself as a sellsword to various factions in times of war while traveling as a vagabond. It wasn’t until he heard rumors of an emerging snow elven conclave did he travel to the Realm of Elvenesse. There, he reunited with Kindrel, reconnecting with her as they once were, and later he’d soon reunite with his daughter Aenora and brother Ryunthur.

The Araaloq bloodline is known for being bold and outspoken, but upholding a fiery religious zeal that is, at times, disagreeable to their older kin. Originally founded by Taegen Araaloq during the first age, the family, once splintered and scattered by the Cataclysmic era, rises from rack and ruin under the careful direction of archon Darcassan and wife Kindrel. Though the Araaloq have been known to dabble in politics when their guidance is called upon, they are most abundant within the practices of Isvinity; it is heavily encouraged for the progeny of the family to become Vigilants in order to take on bigger roles within the community.

The Araaloq line values allegiance and devotion above all else, both to their bloodline and Wyrvun, in the hopes that such dedication will lead to both personal prosperity and the success of the mali'fenn. Usually outspoken and strong-willed, the Araaloq also view self-discipline, fidelity, and conviction as highly-valued traits to be exhibited by its bloodline members. Typically, Araaloq are recognizable by their lengthy and braided silver-white hair, sharp grey eyes, and attire that sways towards a neutral palette. Though they stand taller than some of their kin, with an average of 6' being common in both men and women, they are typically svelte and sylphlike in build, and have thus come to prefer lightweight weapons in combat; rapiers, scimitars, daggers, and even types of poison are not uncommon. Politically, they are Priorist, holding a neutral stance toward other Elves and favoring political isolation from their affairs. For their emblem, they take the owl to represent their collective strength of mind and spiritual enlightenment, paired with the colors black, blue, and grey for self-discipline, nationalism, and elegance.

In most cultures, the owl represents facets of life such as wisdom, knowledge, or healing. However, the Araaloq worship it as a beacon representing silence and grace. With this, religious devotion serves as one of the most important cultural foundations among the bloodline. Many sons and daughters are encouraged to partake in worship very early in their life, sometimes to the extent that some view them as extremists and zealots.

They often preach the importance of being reserved yet attentive. This follows the idea that it is safer to listen to local affairs and drama from afar while also retaining one's opinion and thoughts. With this comes self-discipline, devotion, and preservation. Many of these stem from the history of the bloodline, especially due to their recent revival among bloodlines that have centuries or even millennia of history behind them. This causes them to sometimes feel a sense of exclusion towards other bloodlines, though rarely to the extent of outward hostility.

This includes rapiers, scimitars, daggers, and even types of poison. This preference comes from their lesser muscle-mass (on average) compared to other ‘Fenn, though they aren’t terribly frail.

As previously mentioned in the Genesist topic, the Araaloq possess three tomes written by Taegen Araaloq herself. These tomes, being old in age, are weathered and torn, so their preservation is vital if the history of the bloodline is to be maintained. They’re often stored in a protected safe where only the trusted may be granted access. This is usually whoever is deemed to be the next archon of the bloodline.

The tomes additionally reference five other lost relics: a silver circlet, brooch, shield, rapier, and dagger. Two of the relics, the circlet and shield, remained with the three tomes, while the other three have not been recovered yet. These relics are said to each bear great significance, though the history of the three lost relics are vague and unknown due to missing pages of the tomes.

The silver circlet was said to have been worn by Taegen throughout her reign as the archon of Araaloq. Many believed this circlet to be a beacon of revival for the bloodline after the death of the two brothers. On the other hand, the shield is thought to have belonged to Ilvisar Araaloq, Taegen’s only son and second patriarch of the bloodline. He was a renowned armorsmith, though dabbled in occasional weapons and shields from time to time, thus crafting one that would follow the name of Araaloq for many years to come.

	Appearance
The Araaloq are most easily identified by their darker attire of natural colors, typically brown or black, which easily stands out among the white landscape of Fenn. To contrast against their darker themes, they oft favor metal accessories over organic ones such as leather or fur. This comes with the donning of metal bracers, rings, necklaces, and most commonly intricate circlets worn atop the head. Hair is commonly grown long and worn in braids by men and women alike; some will draw their entire head of hair into one large plait, while others will let multiple tiny ones hang amid their otherwise plain locks. As for their hair color, it is most common for it to be silver to white, with the occasional cream tint. Much like their hair, their eyes are almost always a bright silver color, resulting in them looking naturally knife-like and focused.
