NEARLY A DECADE AGO, Archduke Joseph the First saw fit to bestow upon the House of Schwanstein the Baronial title of Schwanau, a reward for their house leader’s service to the Commonwealth. Though his judgement in doing so was sound, the past several years has seen the status of the Baronial house become a concern for the Petran crown.

With one son of the Baron exiled from Idunia for deep associations with darkspawn, a check-in upon the spiritual health of the rest of House Schwanstein was the clear duty of the crown. However, before such a discussion could occur, a delegation from the lands of Kurai-Kuni came to the steps of Palais Madelaine with further troubling news. The peaceful visitors explained that a daughter of House Schwanstein had kidnapped the sister of the Shogunate’s Admiral, held her within the Petran capital, and demanded her to perform various labors under duress. This crime, while committed by a child, was still a severe violation of the Petran law code which the Baron of Schwanstein would be responsible for amending.

In an act of grace, the crown offered that the House of Schwanstein may move into a period of probation, performing redemptive acts of service as a chance to retain their titles. Instead, the house chose to have their titles revoked and depart the lands of Petra.

Henceforth, the Barony of Schwanau shall be placed into abeyance, and may not be reclaimed by any member of House Schwanstein. Though they are wished well in their journey elsewhere, the family shall not be re-welcomed into the Commonwealth’s ranks of nobility at any point forth.

The House of Reinhold is counted amongst the oldest and most leal houses of the Petran Commonwealth, from its ranks have come many knights, scholars, and statesmen  who have shaped the Commonwealth as a whole. Since the reign of Queen Catherine I, the House of Reinhold has proven steadfast in their resolve, unwavering in their devotion, and dutiful in their conduct. For over a century, through peace and through war, the House of Reinhold have shaped the future of the Petran Commonwealth through their virtue and ability. Among the banners of the Petran Commonwealth, the Reinholds have shaped the future of the Petran Commonwealth through their virtue and ability.

Since landfall has been made upon Azuras, their presence has helped shape the Petran Commonwealth to reach the prosperity it enjoys at present. Thus in recognition of this, and the many services rendered in decades past to the Commonwealth, the House of Reinhold is henceforth elevated to the standing of a Margravial Family. So-named as:

COUNTESS AMELIA REINHOLD is henceforth named as MARGRAVINE OF ABHMÒINE in recognition of the unwavering presence and constant service of the House of Reinhold. Per the Second Catherinian Code, the Margravial House of Reinhold shall hold the privileges and rights as afforded within Article II alongside the increased responsibilities which comes with such standing within the Petran Commonwealth. The title shall be hereditary, passed henceforth to her heirs save only by the will of the Crown or forfeiture through crimes through or the neglect of fealty.

The Martiel branch of Temesch has existed as part of the fabric of Petra’s cloth for many, many years. It and its forefathers have worked closely alongside the royal branch of Temesch, shaping the future of the Commonwealth, creating the place it is today. They have dedicated years of service to the Crown of St. Emma that will never be forgotten, and that will always be treasured in the hearts of its people.
 

It is only fitting that, after these years of dedication, that Temesch et Martiel be allowed to turn inward and focus on their internal affairs. After discussion with the Regency and communication with Catherine I, it has been decided that Temesch et Martiel will be released from their vows to the Commonwealth in order to pursue their personal ambitions.
 

The titles ‘Barony of Resmore’ and ‘Viscounty of Mies’ shall be returned to the crown from which they were granted, in light of this decision. However, the title of County of Martiel, gifted to Adrian Godfrey Temesch et Martiel, shall remain in the possession of the family for their future endeavors.
 

The Commonwealth extends its greatest blessings to the family of Temesch et Martiel, and wishes luck and prosperity for their future journeys. Goodwill between the lines of Temesch will always remain, and the friendships made between the people of the Commonwealth and the family of Temesch et Martiel will never waver.

As the sovereign ruler of our great Commonwealth, it is with a heavy heart that I announce a significant change regarding one of our esteemed noble houses.

After careful consideration and in recognition of their unwavering dedication to their family's well-being, I hereby release the Comital House of Adiler from their oaths to the Commonwealth. It is acknowledged that they seek opportunities that better serve their family as a whole - a decision that I am certain was not made lightly.

Our loyal subject, Adrian Godfrey Moere de Resmore, is hereby elevated to the position of Viscount of Mies for their and their families continued service to the Commonwealth of the Petra. Those of Mies have worked diligently for the Commonwealth, and are hereby recognized for their efforts.

Adrian has worked diligently within the Commonwealth since his youth. Taking up the position of Orateur of the Garmont Assembly, and assisting in many other sections within the Commonwealth government. It has been decided between Her Majesty, Catherine I, and Viscount Adrian that alongside his taking on the former titles of the Temesch family, both the Viscounty of Mies, and the Barony of Resmore, they shall also relinquish their name of Temesch as they are not the rightful Patriarch. They shall take up the surname Moere de Resmore.

With this elevation, Adrian Moere de Resmore, in representation of their family, shall take upon them the responsibilities and expectations of a Peer of the Commonwealth of the Petra. They and their family are to uphold and lift up the Commonwealth and their fellow citizens.
