“Blessed Citizens of the Silver State, Pure Descendants of Larihei,

We are all blessed to live and toil within elCihi’Thilln, to dwell within elHaelun’or - the eternal beacon of our kind, whose excellence has endured every trial and treachery for millennia. In such, we are protected by the peerless guardianship of elSillumiran, whose unyielding service and ultimate sacrifice is both terror to our foes and comfort to our people. To them belongs the eternal duty of arms, and likewise to them belongs our reverence. 

And yet, as the Silver State commands the Weeping Blades, so too must each Talonnii bear the responsibility of furthering the interests of The Motherland, and maintaining the integrity of its blessed citizenry. As we preserve our lore, scholarship, arts and blood, so too must we preserve the discipline of body and spirit that makes us first among the Mali. For Purity is ne merely a doctrine of the mind, but of the whole being.

It is in this spirit that I, as Patriarch of elTalonni Acaln’sae, do formally declare the formation of the Talonni Houseguard - elIhnsilonniran. A household fellowship, maintained and paid for by the coffers of elTalonnii, dedicated ne to conquest, but to discipline, guardianship and service. Theirs is a duty threefold:

Firstly - To safeguard the holds and the blood of the Acaln’saean, so that our bloodline may forever stand as one of the many pillars of order and serenity within elHaelun’or;

Secondly - To cultivate physical and mental discipline within the residents, citizens and blessed citizens of elHaelun’or, reflecting in a much smaller mirror the virtues of elSillumiran;

Thirdly - To maintain readiness, so that we are ever vigilant and ever ready to answer the call of The Motherland or her guardians, shall they ever require our aid.

Let none mistake their purpose - elIhnsilonniran are ne a body of soldiery designed to oppose, but one borne out of the eternal devotion our bloodline feels towards the furthering and safeguarding of elMaehr’sae Hiylun’ehya. 

The spear is chosen as our symbol, for it is the most ancient of our arms - simple, unwavering, resolute is it in declaring the final verdict of any foe that would seek to challenge the tranquility which our Blessed Kin enjoy within the walls of elHaelun’or. As the quill refines the mind, so does the spear refine the hand, so as to allow both, in harmony, to fulfil our ancient credo - elMaehr’sae Hiylun’ehya.

It is in discipline and service that our people shall endure forevermore.

- History -

Whilst the Miravaris Talonnii is estimated to hold origins in Asulon, from times of the Second Pools, its exact genesis is shrouded in mystery. 

The first recorded Miravaris Laurir - Aevulith Miravaris - penned an original entry into Bloodline Archives of ages past: one of few Miravaris artefacts that have been recovered, at least in part.

Later entries such as this have continued to expand upon our Talonnii’s history, documenting the ever-growing list of Miravaris oem’ii born, and the Miravaris’ eventual rise to prominence.

I - Through Asulon til Atlas, the Talonnii of Miravaris remained somewhat unknown; but another humble Mali’thill lineage, tending quietly to their research, craft, and duties. So did it remain, until tragedy struck; Okarn’thilln, where the Miravaris Talonnii had resided in number, was destroyed.

II - After the destruction of Okarn’thilln, to which many kin members were lost, the Miravaris family began to regroup in the newfound city of Fi’halen, providing a full emergence as the Haelun’orian people moved to the land of Arcas. It was there that the first Miravaris attained a position upon elHeial’thilln, and would later go on to briefly take up the mantle of Sohaership at two separate times. 

III - Throughout this time, various Miravaris kin would make their presence known, informing that the Talonnii as a whole had indeed survived the Okarn’thilln disaster. Tragedy once again struck the Mali’thill - during Alaion Miravaris’ tenure as Okarir’tir, the Maheral Azorella Elibar’acal was assassinated, prompting the resignation of the incumbent Sohaer. In attempts to stabilise and re-unify the Mali’thill people, Alaion Miravaris took up the mantle of Sohaership.

IV - Yet, comfort for the Miravaris could not last long - tensions still remained high, and a Republic faction began to gather in elCihi. As the investigations into the assassination came with little fruition, the people were placed into a frenzy - disorder and disruption pushed the Silver City past its brink, culminating in the coup of Sohaer Alaion Miravaris and Acaele Lazul, bringing the rise of the Republic Era.

V - Ultimately, this led to the Miravaris Talonnii becoming scarce within elCihi, either taking temporary leave from the city or merely keeping very low profile. Throughout the Republic and Sohaerite Eras in Almaris, the Miravaris Talonnii removed itself from the public eye; awaiting a time in which they could return to a stable, recognisable Haelun’or and fully reintegrate themselves.

VI - Alas, the decision to re-emerge was no such smooth thing; it was once again in the face of travesty that the Miravaris proved again their loyalty to the Silver State. Arasdir Miravaris came early in the great struggle against the Mali’fenn, tasked with a de facto administration of the State while the conflict was still brewing. The work he had done and the time endured in Fennic prisons earned enough time for the re-emerging of Alaion Miravaris and the cavalry of patriot Mali’thill, who secured the Sohaership - this time, elected. The Miravaris presented themselves as a figure in opposition to the attempted coup of the Silver State by the Mali’fenn, gathering together supporters and a faction to try and undo the damage that had been done by the traitorous predecessor council. 

VII - With international pressure building, the new Silver Council made a pact with the Uruk Horde in exchange for protection of their peoples. However, whilst the Haelun’orian people did indeed succeed in defending their home from occupancy by the Mali’fenn and New Malinor, wider Almaris conflicts found themselves to centre around the Mali’thill island. In seeking to end unnecessary ‘thill bloodshed, the Miravaris Talonnii migrated alongside our Mali’thill kin to the southern peninsula city of Asul’hileia, wherein the Sohaership was handed to Luthien Maeyr’onn. 

VIII - Steadfast in their labors, their works ever turned toward the progress and well being of the Silver State. In the mid years of their dwelling upon Aevos, Arasdir Miravaris once more took up his sacred charge, lending wisdom to the flourishing of the island city under Luthien Maeyr'onn and then availing the rise of Sohaer Kolvar Uradir. It was in these hours that Malaurir Seth Calith, wearied by his own designs, grew distant from his Most Blessed role. Thus arose, by quiet accord of the Blessed Citizenry, a de facto Maheralship of Arasdir Miravaris, decreed tardy by law and early by souls. Through the light lended and with his guidance Elcihi'thilln traversed the toils of War War with the Vale of Nevaehlen, seeing to its bringing into the fold. Guiding the lost souls and lighting the Path of Larihei for many decades, his tenure, longer in truth than in name, came upon its gentle end just a few short years after the avaricious Seth Calith relinquished to him the Torch.

I - The Miravaris Talonnii conducts itself in eternal
accordance with the maehr’sae hiylun’ehya.

The Miravaris are committed to the following of Larihei’s teachings - to stray from the Silvered Path is to be Miravaris no longer. Those of the Miravaris line strive for perfection in their purity, of both mind and body.

II - The Miravaris Talonnii recognises refinement,
etiquette, and formal respect.

From a young age, elves of the Miravaris lineage are provided with a rigid programme of education, including but not limited to formal studies in the arts, the humanities, and the sciences. It is not uncommon to see a Miravaris with total mastery in a specific field, the family boasting especially fine musicians.  Beyond this, the Miravaris Talonnii places specific emphasis on studies of law, culture, and debate. After all, it is that which holds the true framework of proper, ordered society.

III - The Miravaris Talonnii emphasises order,
preservation, and structure.

The Miravaris Talonnii has long held ties to elSillumiran; and indeed, all capable Miravaris’ are expected to enlist and serve. In youth, the Miravaris not only pursue formal education, but equally the health of the body, with physical training a key part of this endeavour. The Miravaris strive to be model Citizens: the strive for contribution to the collective structure is one that the Miravaris hold close to their heart. From this citizenship comes service, comes loyalty, comes devotion.

If a Miravaris makes an oath, they intend to keep it.

- Physical Traits -

I - Whilst the Miravaris Talonnii hold no exclusive traits in hair colour, due to varying branches of ancestry, they most commonly are seen with pale hair ranging from a pale blonde to a warm white. 

II - Miravaris’ tend to have very angular facial features; pointed noses, sharp jaws, upturned eyes. Though alike hair colour their eye-colour varies, it is almost always of a light, pale tone, no matter the hue.

III - On first glance, the Miravaris seem to hold a lithe build. This observation is likely due to Talonnii members being regularly quite tall: almost always over 6ft. However, this is not to say that the Miravaris are merely gaunt scholars; quite the opposite, in fact. Whilst not physically ‘brawny’ or ‘stocky’, the Miravaris tend to be healthy, toned, and relatively strong due to emphasis on military training in youth.

I - Within the Miravaris, the Laurirship is passed down de facto to the eldest living descendant who is capable of receiving such. The heir-Laurir shall then be bestowed the Miravaris Circlet, and entitled to the formal use of the Talonnii crest and seal.

II - There exists however a process of challenge, in which another eligible descendant may declare the incumbent Laurir ‘unfit’: 

 a)   formally issuing a challenge for the Laurirship,
in case of perceived incompetence or impurity,

or ;

b)    lettering a respectful request for the transfer of the Laurirship,
should an incumbent be found absent/no longer able to fulfil duties.

Pure sons and daughters of Larihei,

With solemnity and steadfast resolve, I, Antelian Acaln’sae, Blessed Citizen of the Silver State, member of the Weeping Blades, proclaim the return of the Acaln’sae Talonnii to our rightful home, to the roots of our ancestry, to Haelun’or. Scattered by misfortune and diminished by errant paths, elTalonnii stood on the brink of dissolution. Yet through discipline, determination, and fidelity to our heritage, we now gather anew beneath the Silver Bough, restored in name and purpose. For Thirteen Years we toiled under the Path of Purity, for Thirteen Years did we seek to cast away the mantle of the Mali’ata, for Thirteen Years did we seek to rectify the great mistakes of our ancestors in abandoning the sacred path of Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya. It is in those Thirteen Years that our Talonnii has gathered and, under my direction, worked for the advancement of the Silver State, the preservation of its culture, language and the furthering of its interests.

We renounce the errors of fruitless ventures, of the cursed path that Celia’nor used to tread, and affirm with clarity that the hearth of Purity is here, within our Sacred Motherland. To dwell in Haelun’or is to dwell at the heart of Mali’aheral excellence, where intellect, grace, and unity endure unbroken. It is here, and here alone, that a Talonnii may flourish in harmony with the Mother’s teachings and contribute to the eternal refinement of our people.

As Patriarch, I bind my kin to the tenets of Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya, and to the wisdom of Larihei, whose gift to us was not only knowledge, but the command to elevate ourselves beyond mediocrity. The Acaln’sae return not as relics of a broken past, but as a renewed pillar of the Silver State, and may they be so for eternity, until the End of Times. Our Talonnii shall strive for excellence in thought, deed, and service, so that the name “Acaln’sae” may finally take its rightful place as a beacon of refinement, loyalty and discipline among the Mali’thill.

Thus do I, Antelian Acaln’sae, declare before all: our wandering is ended, as is our place restored and our purpose - renewed. May the Acaln’sae ever walk in Purity, in service to the Silver State, and beneath the guiding light of Larihei.

In the annals of the Silver State, where fate is woven with threads of stars and shadows, a lineage emerged that defied the laws of heaven and earth: the Tarto. They were not born of complacency, hard work, or the womb of science, but forged in the fire of transgression. Brought together by love, they come from many backgrounds, whose purpose in the beginning was love, which was building a great family.From their roots, they embodied the spirit of those who bit into the forbidden fruit or tried to steal the radiance of the stars.

At twilight in the year 207 S.E., when the moon shone like a teardrop on the rooftops of La Dorada, two souls condemned to the stake met. Amelia, whose snowy hair was tinged purple at the tips, as if the shadows of a mountain god had kissed her mane, carried drums that were said to summon spirits with their thunderous roll. And Kirkigar, with amber eyes like the sap of forbidden forests and antlers reminiscent of an ancient deer.

Amelia, adopted by Valahs and Mali'ames, grew up amid the chanting of runes and the echo of the drums she carried everywhere. Her rough and ironic temperament was what led her without care or shame to wander between the Valley, Vórtice, Hyspia and finally find herself in Haelun'or. Her irascible and uncontrollable hunger for adventure was only comparable to going against what she had once believed in. Placed among Hispanic nobles, she never wanted to aspire to that path and decided to forge her own.

Kirkigar, orphaned at a tender age, was taken in by his guardians, Mya and Lunaris, who taught him that equality is not begged for, but seized with the blade of will.

Together, their melodies—the ebony piano and the drums that shook the ground—were not mere sounds, but prophecies foretelling happiness and prosperity. Each note was a challenge to written destiny.

When corruption poisoned the foundations of their home, Celia’nor, Kirkigar led the exodus to the Silver City to safeguard their most precious treasure: Sam Tarto, he of the starry eyes. The Tarto did not grovel before the Silver State; they stood as its swords. They swore vengeance against the realms whose lords had tarnished their name. The scourge of Starland and the Ibarellan were their greatest targets, for the humiliation and disdain heaped upon their family.

Thus, in the third century of the Second Era, the youngest lineage was born, a fierce lineage, a lineage of new talents: a tree whose roots slowly settled to forge a new future in Haelun’or.

The Tarto are characterized by their orchid-purple or amber eyes, which exude compassion, like gods who wept ambrosia, or sap from the imposing golden trees. THEY KNOW NO CUT. Their hair, whether male or female, is always long and straight, and usually left loose. Rarely is it tied or braided. It flows like family banners in the wind.

They dress in light clothing, ready for adventure, with a cheerful disposition, and are always smiling and active. Humor is never lacking. JOKES and IRONY are always part of their day. Their warmth is like a summer sun and as broad as a half-moon.

• Pursuit of Happiness: Not fleeting pleasure. Not complacency or servitude. A Tarto seeks to earn happiness as their highest principle. The flames must always be kindled, even if it requires the fire of a dragon.
• Duty: With sword or word, a Tarto will fulfill their promise or die trying.
• Unconditional Love: Earn our trust, and we will love you forever. In good times and bad, our hearts are the greatest.
• Justice: Not to repeat the mistakes of those who humiliated the family. Always firm, always just. Like songs that will accompany the end of the world, when all are blind, a Tarto will impart justice.

• Birth: The Dance of the Antlered Drums.

 Upon the birth of a Tarto, the entire family beats drums covered with hides throughout the night. The newborn is placed on a woven mantle, partly made from the hair of their parents, while their forehead is anointed with honey and dust from the nation.

Culminating Act: The mother or father holds the child before the moon and shouts: "Let the world tremble, for today a hurricane is born!"

• Marriage: The Judgment of the Two Melodies.

 The betrothed must face each other in a musical duel: one plays the ebony piano, the other the drums. The resulting melody must intertwine.

Vows: Instead of promises, they exchange poetic insults engraved on their rings. Banquet: Extravagant dishes are served with local wine, and guests must tell a lie so outrageous it becomes truth.

• Death: The Procession of the Burning Braids. 

Upon the death of a Tarto, their hair—never cut in life—is braided by the family, and the body is cremated.

Funeral Chant: Instead of laments, jokes the deceased used to tell are recited. If the attendees laugh, the soul joins the other Mali’aheral, silent guardians of Haelun’or.

Offering: A tree or flower is planted using the ashes of the deceased; if it grows, the departed has proven once more that, even in death, they defied destiny.

• Family Happiness: The Symposium. 

Every 12 moons, family and friends gather in a circle under the open sky. They drink from a single chalice of wine, and each member must tell a story of stealing happiness from tragedy—of bringing a smile despite circumstances.

Final Act: Together, they select a star from the firmament and sing a song challenging it to extinguish. If it flickers, it means the stars have listened… and trembled. Thus, the world will remember that, ever defiant, they will bring a smile to the world, no matter who stands in their way.

THE MALI'AHERAL BLOODLINES

With the establishment of the fi’talonnii system comes the need to recognise the ‘aheral and ‘thill bloodlines of Haelun’or and the lands beyond. Under the watchful gaze of Sohaer and Maheral, bloodlines past and present have had their contributions measured and judgement issued.

As of S.A. 224, the following talonniian of Aevos and realms past shall receive the following tokens of recognition.
 

Legacy Bloodlines

The Lomah’nih Bloodline, as Larihei’s own flesh and blood, shall receive Ahtalonnii status.

The Visaj Bloodline, in recognition of their past aid in the refounding of the Silver State in Atlas, shall receive Ahtalonnii status.

The Uradir Bloodline, having birthed a large number of previous Sohaers and Maherals, shall receive Ahtalonnii status.

Active Bloodlines

The Fi’talareh family, in light of their historic and numerous contributions to the Silver State over half a millennium, shall receive Ahtalonii status.

The Sythaerin bloodline shall receive Estalonnii status as a token of esteem for their centuries-long loyalty to elcihi’thilln.

The Wynasul bloodline shall receive Estalonni status in light of their aid in the liberation and maintaining of the Silver State following the An Naedwyllm Occupation incident.

The Calith bloodline shall receive Estalonnii status in recognition of their loyalty to the Silver State and contributions to the arcane arts.

The Dishonored

All Fennic Bloodlines shall, by default, be deemed Atalonnii. This the Tundrak, Drakon, Tathvir, Atmorice, Sylric, Annungilben and Ithrandos lines, among any others who call themselves Mali'fenn.

This may be waived in individual cases if members of these lines renounce their so-called culture and bloodline names.

Those of the Seregon Talonnii shall be regarded as Actalonnii due to historical records of impurity and abandonment of the state. They are invited to rejoin elcihi’thilln and meet with the Maheral regarding their reintegration at their leisure.

The Izalith bloodline shall be known henceforth as Actalonnii due to their longlived impurity and historical criminal acts.

The Sullas bloodline due to muddied historical records of acts of great renown and infamy in relatively equal measure shall be known as Actalonii with the exception of Lucion Sullas who shall remain an honored malaurir.

The An Naedwyllm bloodline will be considered Actalonnii for betraying the Silver State to Celia'nor, attempting to bring the blessed people under impure rule.

 This list shall be updated as required. Do appeal to the Maheral should you see your Talonnii's status unfit.

A Registry of Venerable Lines and Silver Blood

In the depths of the Eternal Library, there lay a sight unlike any other, nestled amidst towering shelves of forgotten governmental archives and brittle scrolls, a single marble pedestal commands silent reverence. This pedestal beheld an ancient tome, one clearly of high importance to the Library. Though the passing centuries have worn its essence, the book has been lovingly preserved; its cover, now clad in pristine white leather, bears the embossed image of an 'aheral gazing solemnly from a lofty stone tower.

Opening the tome reveals its fragility. The first pages, yellowed and brittle, threaten to crumble with every careful turn, whispering of epochs long past. No title adorns the cover or spine—for no title is needed. To gaze upon it is to understand its role: a keeper of legacies, a bridge between ancestors and the unborn.

Beside the book rests an inkwell filled with a shimmering black pigment, and a quill. The pages of this tome bear the names of bloodlines, sprawling family trees, vivid accounts of origins, and the traits that define generations. Some entries are still vibrant, others have dissolved into ghostly traces. Yet, there remains space—many sheets lie untouched, their pristine surfaces beckoning the present and future to etch their mark.

THE BLOODLINE ARCHIVE

Venerable Registers of an Ancient Nation

Deep within the bowels of the Eternal Library, a peculiar sight stands erected – an outlier nestled amongst towering shelves of ancient governmental archives. It is an unassuming marble pedestal, the only pedestal in the sacred institution. Dimly lit are its surroundings; the pedestal gleams in comparison, the sole source of light in its shadowy vicinity. 

Upon this plinth is a tome from time immemorial, so wizened and weathered that it appears to be no less than a millennium old. The cover of this timeworn book has been refurbished with white leather and decorated with an artistic rendering of a mali‘aheral looking out from a stone tower, but its age is undeniable; the first pages nearly crumble as they are turned. No title can be found upon the tome. There is no mistaking what it represents.

Next to the book lies an inkwell brimming with black pigment. Within this inkwell sits a quill, singular in its purpose. A simple scan of the book will make this purpose known: thousands of words spanning centuries are chronicled upon its pages, some too worn to read. Each section details a bloodline with its name, family tree, origins, and distinctive traits. But even with hundreds of records spanning a millennium of history, there remains space; near the end of the tome, countless empty pages beckon the coming of new generations.

Hark, dear reader, for you are about to set your eyes upon annals most ancient. Upon the first page of the antiquated tome, the following words are elegantly etched in ink, faded and nearly illegible:

Sythaerin Manor, Tahn'miar, the Silver State of Haelun’or

In the times before Haelun’or’s founding, a pair of well-learned Elves lived in the forest city of Laurelin. Theveus, a tailor, and Alyss, a scholar with a particular interest in the arcane, often found themselves unable to unwind at the end of the day. A life without progress was a boring one, to them.
 

Centuries passed, and the pair had finally found their peers. Under the guidance of Larihei Lohmanih, who acknowledged and embraced their ambitions, they joined the first generation of what would later become known as Mali’Aheral. In the years to come, they would bear a single child, who went off to learn about the world by himself once he was of age, as his father had done before him. As Aegis fell, their story ended. But the family they founded would become a prosperous one over a century later, upon their son’s return to Haelun'or.
 

  Once Silvos returned, he quickly found himself befriending a particularly curious Mali’thilln known as Kalenz Uradir, who would show him the way of the scholar. It was there that the true expression of his familial thirst for progress could finally be realized. He’d soon find himself enamored with a female scholar, Hileia’Vione Akeleh, whom he would come to marry and have four children with over the coming centuries, thereby ensuring his bloodline’s continued existence.

After the fall of Asulon, Haelun’or refounded itself in Lin’Evaral. Here, the Sythaerin family became a known staple within the community. The first Haelun’orian laboratories were constructed, and within it, Silvos thrived as okarir’maehr. Three of his children would soon do as he did when he was younger, and leave to travel the world, giving in to their own curiosity. The remaining daughter married a High elf that could match the ambition and drive of her father, by the name of Kalameet Izalith, soon after which the both of them took their leave from Haelun’or as well. From elSiimah’Sythaerin, within the highest district of the city, Silvos and Hileia gazed up at the stars and watched the future unfold.

It would be a long time before the occasional Sythaerin returned to Haelun’or, their old family father always still there, running the labs, until eventually retiring after Hileia’s passing to travel the continents they’d moved to by himself. Centuries later, in Arcas, the laurir came to the gates with three of his descendants, spread across the generations, to give the wheel of progress another good spin. Here, they’d work together to reintroduce Haelun’or to proper research in the laboratories, and Sorcaril would plant the seed for a future career in elSillumiran. They remained for a few decades, then vanished once more as abruptly as they’d appeared.

Finally, the Mali’aheral found themselves living in Aevos. A colossal continent, with ample opportunity to explore and wander. The patriarch, finally convinced he should rest, handed the family’s leadership over to his great-grandson Sorcaril. Along with a handful of other descendants, he would come to usher in the new era of Sythaerin prosperity.

Since the early days of Haelun’or, Sythaerins have been curious types. The family head, being an overly curious scholar, founded the laboratories. By this example, most Sythaerins will be driven and direct, though potentially neurotic should one disagree with their ideals or stand in the way of their personal progress. Many of them find themselves unable to remain in one place for too long, expressed by traveling the continent to alleviate their wanderlust.
 

Sythaerins, like most Mali’aheral, have tall, slender builds. Their hair is predominantly a light blonde or white, turning platinum with age. Their eye colors range from purple to cyan, with occasional exceptions. Historically Sythaerins have not been physically impressive as many of htem have pursued the voidal arts, yet restraining from such as most have done in recent years does allow for considerably lean or even bulky physiques.

The Sythaerin crest and other Talonnii memorabilia often feature the serpent, a nickname given to Silvos in his younger years in reference to his creation of acid, as well as his animal companion. The Talonnii colors are dark cyan and evergreen tones, cleft by a slither of silver. As such, many Sythaerins often don these colors to represent their Talonnii. It’s a rare sight to see a self-respecting Sythaerin in anything but that.

Sythaerin Skirmisher

Prior to the Sythaerin arrival on Aevos, the Sythaerins remained a largely neutral Talonnii. They engaged in conflicts when called on by the Silver State but never initiated one. During Sorcaril’s revival of the Talonnii, the Sythaerins took critical roles in elSillumir, leading them to initiate the Haelunorian Conquest of Nevaehlen. Sorcaril oversaw the majority of the campaign by recruiting the Warband of Mog and initiating several decisive battles for Haelun’or.
 

Other Sythaerins such as Theveus, Maethor, Kenian, and Ashwyn took to the roads and captured several notable members of the Cove including the Matriarch and various council members. They initiated further skirmishes with the Cove and were successful in slowly draining ’ame resources.

Notable Sythaerin Engagements

The First Balian Skirmish  (138 S.A.) | Victory ⚔
During the Sorcaril Renaissance, Sorcaril extended a hand of charity out to the Kingdom of Balian and offered a skirmish between them and the elSillumir. Come the day of the skirmish, Sorcaril fell sick with a cold and Maethor picked up command. Under his command, the Sythaerin-Sillumir force flawlessly defeated their enemy.

The Iron Horde Skirmish (140 S.A.) | Victory ⚔
Following their flawless victory over the Balianite Military, Sorcaril sought out a more challenging opponent. He challenged the Iron Horde and the Warband of Mog to a skirmish of even numbers. Under the command of Socaril the Sythaerin-Sillumir force flawlessly defeated their uruk opponents in a three to zero skirmish.

The Second Balian Skirmish (142 S.A.)  | Victory ⚔

After obliterating the Iron Horde, Sorcaril turned back to invite the Kingdom of Balian to another skirmish after hearing of a mass recruitment drive. Upon the day of the Skirmish, the joint Sythaerin-Sillumir force outnumbered the Balian force by double. Sorcaril, being honorable in nature agreed to allow an equal number skirmish to ensure. In a best out of three, the Sythaerin-Sillumir force demolished their opponents without taking any losses.

The Battle of Silver Dawn’s (147 S.A.) | Victory ⚔
After the Asulir of Haelun’or, Kolvar Uradir issued a declaration of war upon the Cove of Nevahlen a joint Sythaerin-Sillumir force led by Silvos and Sorcaril dispatched themselves to the capital city of Nevahlen, where they sacked the city. No casualties were taken.

The Battle of Grubnahk’s Charge (148 S.A.)  | Victory ⚔
In one of the largest engagements of the war, a joint Sythaerin-Sillumir-Warband force rallied against the Cove in an attempt to occupy the Cove’s south-eastern territories. Sorcail, alongside the mercenary, Grubnahk the Elf commanded the battle which ultimately ended in a decisive victory.

The Visaj vision of Haelun’or.

The Visaj Talonnii traces its lineage back to the progenitors Narcisse and Fiandrieth Visaj. Narcisse and Fiandrieth both hailed from Mali’thill whom in selfless sacrifice had remained following Larihei’s departure; to bring justice upon Lomal and the tainted Elves of his doing. These Elves had in tales and legends posthumously been called Vihai; Whisper [in common tongue], a name and identity that both Narcisse and Fiandrieth sought to honour by taking the related name Visaj following their union.

Narcisse and Fiandrieth’s union bore two children who would make up the Visaj’s two main lines; the influential Tahorran Line and the more obscure Ada Line. In the early days of Aegis, Narcisse and Fiandrieth sought a life isolated from that of the Elves of Laurelin, who had rescinded the Lariheiian path they had been instilled. In their secluded estate, their children; Tahorran and Ada were both given education which resembled that which they would have gotten as children themselves.

During the last days of Aegis, the ageing Visaj progenitors were unable to make it upon the departing ships. Their children; Tahorran and Ada would with great effort and even greater sorrow make it, though their paths would split shortly after arriving to the shores of Asulon. Tahorran rejoiced at the rumour of a gathering of Mali’thill and the reestablishing of a High Elven state, deciding to partake and aid in its inception. Ada opted to remain in isolation, constructing a small estate away from the Silver State; though still very much adhering to the pure education of her childhood.The highly energetic Tahorran would quickly begin to make a name for himself, devoting his productive life to matters of the state. Tahorran would come to be known for being incredibly competitive, but at the same time an infamously poor loser. Perhaps it was in his nature by blood, but the republican ideals acted as a catalyst for Tahorran to grow increasingly ambitious. He long sought to become an Okarir, but the populace had turned neglectful, ignoring Tahorran’s great service. 

Tahorran would have three children; Annyer, Dimaethor and Tiuthwyn. All three would come to be instilled with Tahorran’s abundant ambition, and serve the Silver State in a variety of functions. Annyer would be blessed with several children and spend her life perfecting her writing. While the Visajs at large were no strangers to writing, Annyer lived out her Lariheiian scholarly ambition to the fullest like none other before or after her. Annyer’s children and their descendents make up the largest living body of Visaj.

The first Visaj to take a place upon the Silver Council was the somewhat younger descendent of Annyer; Damasus Visaj. Serving under Kalenz Uradir, Damasus was known for his zealous loyalty to the Motherland. Haelun’or came under the attack of Oren, and eventually forced into vassalage. The subverted Silver State and her citizenry endured great oppression under its Oren-appointed tyrant Orsino Acal’elor. In an effort to resist the occupation, Damasus attempted to overthrow Orsino with a small group of Haelunorian loyalists. Failing, Damasus was promptly executed by Orsino’s Orenian masters.

Years later, after the ruin and fall of the Silver State in Atlas, Dimaethor ascended to the Maheralship, being appointed to the position formally by Malaurir Athedil Haler’thilln and Malaurir Lucion Sullas. The Mali’thill had been displaced and had lost its homeland, many seeking refuge in other Elven settlements. Dimaethor founded a new Silver Enclave named Fi’halen, and the foundations for a future Visaj iteration of Haelun’or had been laid. Mali’thill continued to flock home to the Silver Enclave, which was renamed to the Silver State of Haelun’or following long debate.

Though the resurgence would continue, the Silver State’s Sohaer had disappeared and the Silver Council was inadequate. With the support of several notable citizens and a majority of the citizenry, Dimaethor moved to abolish both the Silver Council and the Sohaership, promoting himself and the Maheralship to be the one and single authority over the High Elves. Concomitantly, he declared Haelun'or completely independent. This has been referred to as the Visaj Silver Revolution.

Dimaethor served as Maheral for many decades, and then later on as Sohaer following his resignation of the former position to his wife Iaria Elervathar. They jointly ushered in an era of great progress and security, with a new system of governance referred to as The Blessed Diarchy or The Elervathar Diarchy. Dimaethor and Iaria both resigned when announcing the birth of their child; Elesia Elervathar.

Tiuthwyn, the youngest child of Tahorran, also rose to the position of Silver Councillor. The diligent and dutiful Tiuthwyn acted as Okarir’maehr for over two decades under Kolvar Uradir’s first tenure and the troubles that followed. She continued her role as guardian of the vast collection even as her tenure came to an end, leading to her having a key role in ensuring it did not fall into the hands of foreign occupiers during the Great Kinslaying. As the civil conflict escalated, Tiuthwyn barricaded herself and a handful of stalwart loyalists within the Eternal Library for over a year. By making deals with both sides for a ceasefire upon its grounds, she ensured the preservation of the library and survival of those harboured within it.

A Visaj generally has blonde or silver blonde hair, blue eyes and a sharp jawline. They stand at around 6 feet, but can go from 5’11” to 6’3”. They speak with a soft voice, preferring not to shout or scream. A Visaj is always well-dressed and generally keeps tamed hair, and their belief in high standards mean they always try to look their best. Some may call this vanity, but a Visaj would call it barbarism for a Mali’aheral to be dressed in a wild fashion.

The Visaj are renowned for their unwavering commitment to the Silver State of Haelun’or as well as their boundless ambition for themselves and the High Elves. Members of the Visaj have often presided over important offices of government. Some lesser Talonniian have warned the Visaj of the pitfalls of their boundless competitiveness and determination, but contentment with mediocrity is not in their blood.

The Visaj family name is regulated via the tradition of Fi’haler - the pledge of the new, which took its inspiration from the enclave reborn under Dimaethor Visaj’s enlightened guidance, and works as below;

Those born to a Visaj may take as their surname the bloodline, but only modified by their parent’s name. For instance, Tiuthwyn, born to Tahorran, would be Tiuthwyn Visaj-Tahorran’onn. Gilaethor, born to Tauriel, would be Gilaethor Visaj-Tauriel’onn. They may not use the name Visaj on its own as they are not proven in their own right; they are instead a Visaj only by right of their parent’s value and purity.

Once proven through service to the state and personal ambition, those full Visaj vote on their admittance to elheial Visaj, the coterie of fully-recognized Visaj; by simple majority, the aspirant youth may be considered of the Visaj bloodline by their own merit, and therefore may cast aside the additional modifiers. 

This also works in the reverse way; by decision of the patriarch, who is normally the eldest active Visaj but always chosen from among elheial Visaj, one may be removed from the inner circle and indeed from the bloodline overall on the basis of mental or physical impurities; chaff cast aside in the pursuit of quality grain. When one is removed from the bloodline, all their progeny are also removed - as the introduction of such impurities within one is liable to stain the blood and reputation of the rest.
