  1. The young 'aheral took the letter in his hands and, with a soft sigh, tossed it aside. Then he began to chuckle "Some things never change. But well, it's my problem no longer" — "Clinging to their doctrine seems to have made them forget what's the meaning of progress"
  2. Oh! Celestial Magic, my beloved !\( ̄︶ ̄*\))
  3. The young 'aheral is interrupted from his nap. He takes the paper, reads it, and sighs "Until the idiots figured it out" He chuckles as he yawns, "Although that was quick that I expected"
  4. "Asul lente karin'ento" exclaims the young 'aheral as he writes letters and letters "But only if you make an effort to make it happen..."
  5. You're right, I misspoke. I mean that light can't be manipulated, for example, by Transfiguration to achieve something. That's why light becomes a unique art form. But no, learning one thing doesn't limit you from learning another. I always envisioned it as divine, since that was the closest thing to the lore that made sense to me. But giving it a unique property, or perhaps some element that would make it a unique art form, seemed impossible without first establishing this principle I always envisioned it as magic, but I found it difficult to implement without breaking the lore or filling in gaps that might conflict with what's already established. If this foundation is approved, I would create three types of magic based on the three types of light that exist within the plugin: sun, moon, and stars (and there's a fourth, but I don't think it's a mix or what the hell is)
  6. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Starweaving weave the very stars ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Overview Starweaving is a celestial art through which practitioners, known as Starweavers, commune with the heavens to manipulate the light of stars, moons, and suns. It is not merely illumination, but the raw essence of fate itself — light unbound, distilled within jars. Each beam captured becomes a thread in the vast tapestry of destiny, which the Starweaver may weave, twist, or mend through focused will and mana. Instead of resorting to the Void, Starweaving channels the light and mana inherent in a phenomenon known as: emergent property. By weaving threads of light, the starweaver is able to alter destiny, body, and soul, depending on the nature of the light used. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Origin Since the Descendants first lifted their gaze toward the heavens, they were spellbound by its stars — twinkling jewels upon the dark velvet of night. At times they guided sailors across endless seas; at others, they inspired melancholic poets to weave verses of longing and wonder. Yet, it was through study and understanding that the Descendants ever advanced. Amid lives without meaning or direction, some sought destiny — a destiny which, in the end, awaited them all. At first, they searched for patterns, hidden meanings — they sought to classify the sky to comprehend it. Through crystals that magnified the image, the telescope was born. With these, they charted the constellations: sacred maps of heroes, figures, and divine relics traced in the firmament. Soon, the so-called Gods stirred them to look further still. Many of these beings had battered upon mortal doors, through wrath or presence, and so mortals began to seek omens among the stars. Within those constellations, something stirred the hearts of the Descendants — a force that seemed to shape their dispositions, binding them into archetypes. Thus were born the Seven Major Constellations, each reflecting one of seven archetypes — for in some mysterious manner, one’s day of birth seemed ever entwined with the ruling constellation above. One constellation for each month of the year. Yet even then, the Descendants were not satisfied. They knew that each star, the Moon, and the Sun were not mere ornaments, but worlds — realms, beings beyond comprehension. They longed to draw them nearer, to touch their light. Through Jars of rare materials and intricate mirrors, they succeeded in trapping the light itself. Within those vessels, the radiance writhed like ethereal vapor — its hue, its warmth, its chill, each more mesmerizing than the last. If a Jar were shattered, the light was lost forever, bursting in a silent explosion of brilliance. But a few scholars were not content with such marvels. They borrowed the mana that flowed within, weaving it with the imprisoned light. Every spent jar, every thread of starlight spun through delicate filaments, gave birth to the sacred craft known as Starweaving — the art of communion with the stars and the bending of their light. Those who mastered it defied the order of nature itself, altering the very destinies of the Descendants. The art of trapping light in jars became popular as a mere curiosity. But true starweavers were capable of manipulating it. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Constellation & Archetype Korrath, the Duke of Starlit Dust Those born beneath Korrath’s light are natural leaders and protectors, yet prone to arrogance and a hunger for dominion — over others, or themselves. Tireless in mind and spirit, though often compulsive in their acts. Sileonis, the Scholar upon the Moon Imaginative and spiritual, they wander the endless corridors of thought. Melancholy lingers in their aura, even when sorrow has no cause. Their imagination transcends the boundaries of the real. Raxor, the Comet Hunter Perceptive and sharp-eyed, they see what others overlook. Rational, pragmatic — their choices seem cold, though rarely unjust. Ever hungry for knowledge, they are scholars whose thirst can never be sated. Ikuras, the Wandering Traveller of the Sun Seekers of purpose, wanderers of endless horizons. Their life is an eternal pilgrimage; freedom, their gift and their curse. They carry detachment like a second skin — estranged from family, homeland, and faith alike. Talix, the Sky Rider Easygoing and mirthful, they pursue tangible, simple dreams. Their spirit is stubborn and clumsy, yet loyal in both thought and will. They do not cling to the values others deem sacred, moving lightly through the world. Rolfizh, the Meteoric Paladin A furious flame burns within them. Born for greatness or ruin, they are radical in thought and unyielding in intent. Passion drives them to creation — or destruction — beyond mortal restraint. Vortexon, the Wall of Light They embody discipline, duty, and honour — a radiant energy that inspires all around them. Yet beneath that light lies the shadow of denial and doubt; such souls are easily swayed, wounded, or betrayed. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Power of Light and the Celestial Bodies The art of capturing starlight soon became commonplace. Any who possessed a jar could isolate a single hair of light. Yet only true Starweavers could shape that light through mana, bending its nature and, in doing so, altering fate itself. Each type of light carried its own essence. The light of the stars could influence destiny. The light of the sun awakened the fire of the soul’s inner weapon, bound since birth to its constellation. The core of the creation itself. The light of the moon touched the soul, shaping emotion and spirit alike. The world of the soulstream. The Sun’s Light, brightest of all, could sustain ethereal creations of radiant heat. The Moon’s Light, cold and pale, could mold the very essence of the soul. And the Starlight, myriad and multicoloured, bore emergent properties — together, they could weave destiny itself. In the case of comets, they are fragments of distant worlds. They never fall to Earth, but they often come and go, traversing the sky. When they appear, their light can be captured and used for certain spells. In this case, the principle of emergence is temporary, since it is a temporary visitor that appears and disappears for a short time. The most well-known, without a doubt, is the Crimson Comet. On the other hand, meteorites are fragments of celestial bodies, but their power and magical properties lie in their use as physical tools. They do not possess their own light; therefore, a meteor shower will not give rise to any spell or temporary starweaving abilities. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Basic Tools A Starweaver needs certain tools to properly develop their skills. Although these tools are available to everyone, only a Starweaver can unlock their full potential. Spyglass: A lens that magnifies distant objects, commonly used in navigation. It allows for clearer observation of stars and distant objects. Jars: A lidded jar made of various materials, used to channel starlight. There are three types: Emerald Cork: Captures warm light, like sunlight. Obsidian Cork: Captures cool light, like moonlight. Carbon Cork: Captures starlight in general. Lens: The lens is a secondary object that helps capture light in the jars. They are fragile objects and can break with use. There are three types: Ferric: Slightly helps capture light Ametric: Moderately helps capture light Auric: Greatly helps capture light Starfruit: A fruit resembling a berry, but the size of an apple. Light purple in color. Upon eating it, the starweaver enters a trance, during which they are able to see the entire celestial vault without interruption, for a short period of time. When the trance ends, one returns to their senses without any side effects. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Principles True Starweaving does not draw from a single divine being, for each world stands sovereign — governed by its own laws, ruled by its own master. Yet together they give rise to emergent powers that interlace across the void. These powers follow a series of laws and principles that govern the discipline. Unwavering in appearance, they shape how this art unfolds: Principle of emergent property: Starweaving acts in combination with constellations, different types of light. Just as the movement of offspring is the consequence of the mutual work of millions of cells, yet they remain independent, the power to manipulate light is the product of various interactions between stars, evoking constellations. The principle of this emergent property is the fundamental basis of why starweaving does not depend on a single being, deity, or the void. Principle of Independence: Each world remains untouched by another. Each star shines with a different intensity. Each deity remains independent and sovereign over its world. This means that each element that makes up the cosmos is detached from the principle of emergent property Principle of Destiny: Destiny is understood as a line where, despite circumstances, it is already written. Starweaving is capable of breaking it, through light. A natural stasis that has not yet been disturbed by starlight. In other words, destiny is any tale that hasn't been interfered with by starweaving. While different interpretations exist, this is one perspective within this art form. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Gaze of the Great — Consequences of Light Manipulation “When I saw it — or rather, when it saw me — I was lost in the void. Terror crawled beneath my skin, its gaze burrowing into my soul. Ants beneath flesh, a burning itch that would not fade… Beyond the stars… The great eye… The great eye…” The Gaze of the Great is the dire consequence of misusing light. When one steals a fragment from an augedemon’s domain, the being may turn its gaze upon the thief — searching the void as one would the grass for insects. Those caught in that gaze are seized by dread and trembling, haunted by the sense of being watched. Nervous tics, spasms, and incoherence follow. The Starweaver has a limited number of jugs it can use. Using more than allowed causes this effect. These states can be classified into four states of severity and duration: State Effects Extra Jars Used Dissipation Time Mild Nervous spasms and tics may appear. Additionally, an itchy skin sensation may be felt. +0 Jar 1 hour Moderate The spasms intensify, while an inexplicable fear appears, creeping down his back like a cold breeze. +1 Jars 3 hours Severe Your vision blurs, physical exhaustion barely allows you to move, and concentrating becomes extremely difficult. +2 Jars 5 hours Chronic The starweaving is permanently incapacitated. Falling into a trance-like state, where only a large eye is visible at all times. +3 Jars 8 hours ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Progression and Learning Starweaving begins either as an apprentice or as a self-taught practitioner. Assisted progress comes with understanding and the revelation of secrets hidden in plain sight within the stars. Regardless of level, any starweaver must maintain concentration while performing their spells. This means that they cannot move or be interrupted if they wish to successfully cast the spell. The Starweaver's connection strengthens the more they observe the sky. Understanding the different constellations and attuning themselves to the cosmos allows an initiate to progress from manipulating one jar to five jars before becoming completely exhausted. To begin, regardless of the level, one needs to clear their mind, gaze at the sky with a clear mind, and from there… try to visualize the tapestry woven by the stars. Self-Taught Path Tier Duration Amount Jars 1 3 weeks 1 Jar of light 2 5 weeks 2 Jars of light 3 6 weeks 3 Jars of light 4 8 weeks 4 Jars of light 5 10 weeks 5 Jars of light Guided Path Tier Duration Amount Jars 1 2 weeks 1 Jar of light 2 3 weeks 2 Jars of light 3 5 weeks 3 Jars of light 4 7 weeks 4 Jars of light 5 9 weeks 5 Jars of light ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ General Readlines: Starweaving is a deity magic, incompatible with other types of magic A starweaver cannot move while casting a spell A starweaver only acquires a passive ability to observe the constellations, but remains limited by physical barriers When a jar breaks, the effect produced is interpretive, but it has no real effect A player cannot kill, injure, blind, freeze, or otherwise harm simply by throwing a jar Starfruit cannot be used to escape or teleport. The physical body of the person who eats it remains exactly in the same place. Each jar can be used every 1 hour OOC. Therefore, a T5 that uses all its jars will have to wait 5 hours before it can use all 5 jars again. Learning a Starweaving-derived magic requires 1 slot The entire system of magic must always adhere to the principles above ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
  7. The young 'aheral read the announcement with tired eyes. Then, he raises his head and exclaims - "This poor llir really thinks it really exists a 'office'. Never in my life have I had an office. Okarir'mali is more a showman, a clown, a tavern keeper. - " he chuckles and taps his staff to the floor; he found the situation so amusing. - "My my... Let's see what will come next."
  8. When the Light Shatters: The Okarir’mali’s Resignation Written by Kirkigar Tarto Darwood Issued, 11th of The Sun's Smile, 256 S.A ༺═━━━━━━━━━━{⋅.◡ .⋅}━━━━━━━━━━═༻ Good Evening Haelun'or, It will come as no surprise to those who know me that I have never been bound by the standards of purity that a true mali’thill who follows the doctrine ought to uphold. The simplicity of my actions, the clarity of my words, and a relaxed, charismatic manner were, I believe, the reasons why I was appointed Okarir’mali. When Sohaer Acalmaehr granted me the title after the war of Crown and Crozier, I thought my deeds might make maehr’sae hiylun’ehya a more accessible and accepted doctrine—not through harshness in its teaching, but through gentleness in speech. And that, once we were a free nation, we might raise with pride the banner of a brighter future. But the dreams are well-known as fragile things Sadly, reality proved otherwise—and I was well warned. I suppose no message truly reaches the heart until misfortune knocks at one’s door. The work and the original purpose of my mission now stand contradicted by the very one who entrusted me with this responsibility. What pillar could be more noble and fundamental than that of family? For Haelun’or, the doctrine remains its utmost priority. Even without a clear horizon, even if the original message has been distorted through Haelun’or’s long centuries of history, the rule still stands. It was then that I realised that I alone cannot erase the centuries of enmity and tarnished image among our elven kin. Do not believe, then, that—despite the offence against my family—I harbour no hatred toward the Silver State. My work across Elvendom has been, and shall ever be, guided by compassion and fraternity. Yet it would be foolish of me not to prioritise the pillar I deem most essential to any society: the family. Yet I will not deny the weight my spirit now bears. I was naive to believe that the ideal of unity could stand upon words and goodwill alone. Those I held close—the ones I trusted, the ones I would have followed to the world’s very end—were the same who raised the wall that now divides us. I do not hate them, yet the wound they leave is not one that time can mend. It is a scar that reminds me that even the purest light may fracture beneath the shadow of mistrust. And in that fracture, the dream of reconciling our kin slips through my fingers like sand upon the wind. I'll be clear tonight then. Thus, I, Kirkigar Tarto Darkwood, hereby resign from my position as Okarir’mali, and from any title or responsibility within the Silver State of Haelun’or, irrevocably. In addition, I nominate Aurelith Silevon as a more than worthy successor; for her potential exceeds anyone I know. I also warn any who may think as I do: to take violent reprisals is only to feed the flame of hatred—which, like the malflame, leaves a mark most difficult to erase. I shall treasure the experiences and lessons shared with, to name a few, Acalmaerh Calith, Valindra Lyavire-Nullivari, Seth Calith, Silvos Sythaerin, Theveus Sythaerin, Ankan Visaj, Valazaer Calith, Soris, Antelian Acaln’sae, Isadora and Thalis Thornfield. May the stars guide your path, for there is where the threads of fate are woven. I hope the Third Diarchy may yet fulfil the dream of a free nation—and that the weight of the crown never makes them bow their heads. 10. Clarification: I don't intend to encourage any behavior or message these works represent. They're simply series/movies/memes/songs that I like and wanted to share with you. Films or Series: Memes: Songs:
  11. Upon the ivory walls of the south, the lonely mali'thill sighs at the north, thinking and talking to himself. The wind from the salty sea and the quiet of the volcano enveloped him like a veil of peace. - "So many souls crossed through my way; begin a llir or begin a stranger; but I'm wondering if their light remains intact. Savage Valahs, how many of yours must die so you can start to preserve the miracle of life? Look into a mirror, and you may not be surprised if what you see turns down the gaze." - Then, he turns around and exclaims, maybe his voice will be heard by a citizen of Haelun'or - "Don't forget, lliran of mine, you must never forget what Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya means. And when you contemplate the wild of the Valah, you all will understand what Larihei taught us" -
  12. The 'aheral looked at his staff unconcerned. His shoulder still ached from killing Esta, though... Why wasn't Johanna answering his letter? "You're a busy Valah, aren't you?" he said to himself. The 'aheral's innocence kept him optimistic, amid the ruin of Aevos
  13. Sitting at the table, the young 'aheral was celebrating and enjoying the drink and the red Visaj wine. The hustle and bustle kept him cheerful, calm, you could almost say he was completely at peace. The voices fell silent, but he remained seated. When everything ended, and only the sound of his breathing accompanied him, he realized how alone he had become. "Haelun, can you imagine a day where we all live in peace? Even where the draconids live together?" "I have lived it, my son. It was beautiful..." Now, realizing that years had passed since that conversation in Celia'nor, he went to that place in silence, without drawing attention, and sat at the table. "Liar..." - murmured the young 'thill - "You didn't wait for me to make that dream come true... Please... Come back Haelun..." Kirkigar was left in tears, waiting for some vision where his friends and family would all be together again in that tavern. For them to say he lived in the times of Lunaris Darkwood, the ancient vampyr. For them to say he lived in the times when she loved him.
