Letter to the King and Council of Kaz'Stailininn: (11th of Snow's Maiden, 1754.)
I, Arron Smith, now appointed Head of Diplomacy, to all whom it may concern would like to address the state of our kingdom's borders.
Our kingdom’s public image is failing, our name has been dragged through the mud. We’ve been called War Criminals and Terrorists. We are in desperate need to change the people’s thoughts about our kingdom. Although one could say that we are the problem or that our enemies are to blame, we must change how the world sees Mynabor, regardless of who really started this endless cycle of blame. Our public image must be repaired before it is too late.
The idea I wish for us to discuss is the idea for a new campaign to renew our image by opening free lodging in exchange for work, this would fix two of our problems: Our few numbers and our image.
With the campaign of free lodging the world will see that we are a welcoming people that wishes to help anyone who comes into our lands. Secondly we would receive extra workers and miners who can quicken the pace of our construction.
With the security of free lodging, pay and work. We could expect our image to shine in better light and our numbers to grow.
This would not fix everything, there are lots of things we need to do but a step towards peace is a good first step. The only dumb war is the one that could’ve been prevented.
