Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

    Phantoms

Phantoms are souls who are stuck in the Elysian Wastes, from dying an often violent and traumatic, sad and tragic or just use willpower to not pass into the Soul Stream. They are stuck being helpless bystanders unless they let go of their will to stay 'in life' to pass on. Depending on how the new born ghost, Revenants, comprehend their deaths, they will turn into a Specter, Poltergeist or Graven. Every phantom is made of the same material called ectoplasm, it is what holds the soul in a ethereal bodies. The colour of the ectoplasm is decided by the mind who controls it and is moved by force of will. If the phantom is at peace with itself then it will be colours such as white, blue or yellow while others can be red or black. Mundane weapons are unable to touch ectoplasm due to it not being of the mortal world. However, weapons made of aurum are able to harm the phantom since it has special properties. Void magics are also able to harm the phantom, these can ward off the phantom. If there is an aurum  inlay then the phantom is unable to pass acting as if it was a wall, but if there was aurum shavings or dust then the phantom would be able to pass through except with a considerable amount of pain. Phantoms react to pain in different ways depending on the type as does regeneration. All phantoms suffer from different mental illnesses, all including depression since their state lays upon them. Most  phantoms also have a weakness against direct sunlight, it grows from an uncomfortable heat to a burning ache. If a phantom is 'killed' then they will demanifest and will be temporarily be banished from the mortal realm. Although very rare, a Specter/Poltergeist's mental state will shift and they may transition into another form, but a very impactful event must take place for this to happen.

    Revenants

Revenants are the grey spirits who have just awoken and are at the begging of undeath. They are unaware to what has happened to them and their minds are shrouded in confusion and they don't remember what had happened or how they died, only a series of dream-like events leading up to it. They are prone to frustration and anger since they are adjusting to the chage. Revenants also can barely remember who they are and only have slight glimpses of who they once were to go off. They are made of the same substance and share the same nature that all phantoms are made of, ectoplasm, being incorporeal and malleable, but don't have the same control over their new bodies as the more advanced phantoms have. They are recognisable as they used to be but not as recognisable as Specters are and are still marked with the cause of their death. Since they are unattuned to their new form, when they talk their voices are shallow and they sound as if they are talking from a long way away. Because of their untimely struggle, it leads to a feeling of helplessness and despair making them avoid conflict and seek solitude. A common impulse for these ghosts is to find out about their lives and who they were, as well as seeking out tasks or passions they did while they were alive. Revenants are the most vulnerable of all the phantoms as their bodies and minds are not yet stable, they cannot turn physical so it means they are immune to mundane weapons since they just pass through them. But they do react severely to aurum and voidal magics. Warding Revenants off this way could destabilise their fragile minds, including a bad episode of their mental illness or panic. Since they are still in their new state, Revenants only have a small number of abilities which they have at their disposal. But they can't use them very well. They are able to fade in and out of sight from the mortal view, unless they are in a mortal's line of sight. People with True Sight or Vivification are able to see the faded phantom. They are also able to pass through walls or doors when incorporeal and able to hold items when corporeal, but a Revenant is unable to hold an object for mote than a few seconds before it falls through them.

    Poltergeists

Poltergeists are the black spirits, those who have decided to deny their death and has become absorbed by the trauma. They are the most unstable of all the phantoms, their minds constantly having war with itself and reality. A Poltergeist's appearance reflects the way that they died, but in a much more gruesome way than the subtle way Revenants reflect it. They had also taken on some animalistic traits, long claw-like fingers, predatory eyes, sharp teeth ect ect. They speak in hisses, growls, wails and more unpleasant noises. Unlike Revenants, they are more attuned to their nature, able to interact with the mortal realm than being harmless watchers and become unpleasant participants. Poltergeists are almost completely unrecognisable from their former selves. The mind of a Poltergeist is lost to madness and only an event of great significance will be able to bring them peace with themselves to the become Specters. A Poltergeist's mind is consumed by the mental illness they had started to develop in the early stages of unlife and they show it at a great extreme. They know what they are but the knowing torchers them but continue to deny the facts with the reality they live in. Most of their characteristics from life are completely wiped out but some might still show, all empathy for anything is gone as well. Not always evil in their nature, Poltergeists tend to act that way since they because they're tormented and get very violent very fast and cause chaos. Poltergeists have the least reaction to pain as the other phantoms because of the constant chaos, pain is just a thing in the background. But they do feel pain, aurum and void magic will ward them off but minor pain will be less likely to ward them off but more likely to make them angrier. Them along with Specters take the least time to regenerate from a non-fatal injury, like loss of a limb. Unlike Revenants, Poltergeists have a much better control over the mortal realm. Their madness and anger gives them a boost when this happens. They have the same abilities as Revenants but have greater control over them, they are able to hold objects much longer than Revenants can as an example. They are also able to shapeshift into an animal, a predatory/scavenging animal or a more monstrous version of themselves. They have minor telekinetic abilities over objects and are able to hold items up to fifteen kilograms and may control multiple at once as long as it doesn't exceed the weight of fifteen kilos. They have an aura of negativity that can cause feelings of unease, depression and more of those emotions. But this aura won't disable a descendant in any way and won't stop the from doing anything or being forced to do something. A Poltergeist is able to shift its ectoplasm into some kind of vessel, such as corpses, minds and objects. If a Poltergeist were possessing clothes, then it would be like the ghost was wearing it, if the phantom possesses a mind, it whispers into it and gets the person it had possessed to do things but the Poltergeist is unable to make them commit suicide or self harm. If the Poltergeist possesses a corpse, the corpse would deteriorate and move sluggishly. If the vessel the Poltergeist is in is destroyed, the the ghost is forced out. They are also able to haunt areas by surrendering its ability to leave but greatly enhancing the Poltergeist's ability. To be able to haunt somewhere, a Poltergeist disperses its presence its presence into the area. They are only able to haunt dark/musty areas like buildings or dense foliage and normally avoid places with people.

    Specters

Specters are the white spirits, the phantoms who have accepted their death and has made peace with it. But the knowledge of them being dead still weighs upon them. The colour of a Specter's ectoplasm reflects that of their inner peace, being blue, white or yellow and they also show no marking on how they died. They are very recognisable as their former selves, they seem perfect and without a any flaw. But they may have some features that some may see as strange, eyes with no pupils/irises, perfect "skin" or other features like that and are much less intimidating than Poltergeists are. The voice of a Specter is much more pleasant than that of a Poltergeist, their voices coming out as soft and pleasant to the ear. They are also attuned to what they had become and have much greater control over themselves that Revenants do, much like a Poltergeist. Unlike the other phantom types, Specters are able to withstand direct sunlight but they do feel mildly uncomfortable in it. Even though they've come to terms with their deaths, they may still stuffer from depression or sorrow, but are no where near as unstable as Poltergeists are, confused as Revenants or obsessive as Graven. They tend to give selfless acts for people and avoid conflict where ever possible, at worst causing a little mischief. They can be avoidant from mortals since the reactions of the undead aren't really good for most but some are less shy than others. They become distant as unlife goes on, starting to forget who they once were and becoming strange but happy schizophrenic beings. They tend to pass on into the Soul Stream earlier than the other phantom types because of their inner peace and stability, but some stay in the mortal realm longer than others if they feel they still have something to give or just don't want to move on. Specters respond to pain like mortals do, not as violently as Poltergeist or as unstable as a Revenant. The amount of resistance against pain depends mostly on the Specter's desire to stay in the threatening situation. When inflicted by a mundane injury while in Controlled Corporeality, the Specter would just shrug it off but would avoid it when possible. But if they have a good reason to endure it, then they will. Along with Poltergeists, Specters take the least amount of time to regenerate if they demanifest. They have similar abilities to Poltergeists but their control over the mortal realm is not as strong. However, since they have more mental clarity they are better at combat when they need to be. Just like all the phantoms, they are able to fade in and out of a mortal's sight, but cannot fade when in a direct line of sight for a mortal. If they are harmed in any way then they must restart in fading, or when faded and they accidently cross a line of aurum, then they will be forced to become visible. By bringing themselves closer to the mortal realm, they are able to make themselves physical to be able to interact with the realm easier. Like Poltergeists, Specters have the ability to shift their form into a usally docile, herbivore or some kind of tame animal. Specters give off an aura of peace and positive emotion, the opposite of Poltergeists, and they will bring a morale boost for a temporary time. A Specter is able to possess a foreign vessel but is unable to possess a corpse or mind like a Poltergeist can. A Specter is able to turn a place into a sanctuary by using the same method a Poltergeist uses to haunt somewhere, but unlike haunting, a sanctuary brings positive emotion and gives the Specter a much more powerful control over that area.

    Gravens

Gravens are the spirits of obsession who haven't rejected or accepted their demise by decided that they have one singular task that they have to do. They manage to bring themselves from the incorporeality of a Revenant and get themselves a physical form and keep doing whatever task the Gravens ended up doing. If a Graven is unable to do the task, they will remove whatever is the obstacle or just become very angry and hostile. Gravens are unique in the way that they unlike the other phantom types, they don't share the incorporeal nature that the other types do. They aren't made from denial or acceptance, but from passion for a singular task which brings them closer to the mortal plane and so gives them a corporeal form. Looks wise, they are the same as their counterparts. Like Specters, they bear no mark of their death but their ectoplasm is grey, green or purple. A subtle ectoplasmic smog often wafts from their skin, nose, eyes or mouth but it's not always there. Their eyes seem normal but more or less in the same colour as their skin or in pure black or pure white, the same goes for their hair. Their strength is the same as it was in life but don't have the ability of increasing it or lessening it, their voices are also the same as it was in life. A Graven's whole being is of one single obsession which they pursue at all costs, they are usually free from depression and other mental illness but not completely. A Graven is free of these unless they are unable to do their task, if they are unable to do their task then they have the possibility to become even more dangerous than Poltergeists can be. They an have violent outbursts if their task is unable to be done and these are one way they are able to remove the obstacle to continue. They are the least likely of all the phantoms to move on and enter the Soul Stream since they are almost never ready to move on. Gravens are next to Poltergeists on the pain resistance scale because their mind is so set on their task, but if the pain isn't to do with their task they are as likely to stay in the situation as a Specter will. With mundane injuries, they are the most vulnerable since they are corporeal beings but feeling less pain than a mortal would. They require the most time to regenerate from non-fatal injuries. Unlike other phantoms who often rely on being incorporeal, their corporeality restricts them in some ways but still have many opportunities that they could draw upon. Much like the other phantoms, they have an aura which gives off emotion, theirs gives off passion for a task. Since Gravens are corporeal, they are able to interact with the world easier. They have a set amount of endurance, the same that they had when they were alive, and if they surpass it their joints start to lock up. When they need it, Gravens are able to expend their ectoplasm and create a single tool of their choosing, some kind of weapon to defend themselves.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

She is a light shades of grey and has one cut off ear and a big wound in her chest. The 'material' around the wound is stained with ectoplasmic blood.
